701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: November 03, 2018, 09:12:21 PM
I'm interest in trading and I want to know more about it. So please give me your valuable ideas and opinions. As a beginner I would like to know that Is there any special ways to do trading without losses or in a manner which minimize the losses. Not only that please tell me Is it possible to start trading with a small amount of money at the beginning.
Hope you will help me.
Thank you. Smiley Smiley

This is what I call a newbie mindset from the beginning. They thought that they crypto trading is easy. However, a loss is part of the game here. No one has traded since the beginning and not suffer anything because its not possible. Unless you can go back in time (if you have a time machine).  Grin. My point it, is not possible so you have to accept that universal fact.
Such a mindset would indeed cost him a lot until reality sets in for him. Not just the crypto market, but every other markets where buying and selling takes place, there is no foolproof strategy that never losses, though some strategies can be said to be more effective than others. For instance, if you can become quite knowledgeable in the way Pivot Points works, you would be steps ahead in winning more trades than otherwise.
702  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, fair, BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE coming on: November 02, 2018, 06:46:10 PM

So, I finally got convinced by these DOGE-bots that we should have DOGEcoin. You can play and invest. Yep, investments are open from day one!

very cheers :-)
Ethan
Indeed another laudable milestone accomplished! I see minimum bet stays same across all your supported coins, that would appeal to lot more players. Exchanging Dogecoin to other coins is not integrated yet, do you have that in the pipeline?
703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LastLaughingGuy - day trading diary on: October 28, 2018, 09:55:51 PM
Hi all,

i hope you guys have a nice sunday - i didnt trade the day since its the day i have the most time to spend with my kids.

my only position i have still is GVT. it bounced nicely after i went to bed (as usual Smiley ) and missed a very good exit. but it acutally looks quite stable now and its not unreasonable that we see 210 or even 220. Rest is in the chart.

Looks to me you do not give much attention to your RSI, else the subsequent long positions you took should have waited until market is oversold as above and that might mean, you also missed good and less risky entry point.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin at this moment is right? on: October 28, 2018, 09:40:12 PM
I feel trading at this moment is not right and waiting is better
Waiting perhaps till the price hit $19k again  Undecided I suppose he meant to say, HODLing is a better choice than trading in a bear market, but I want to say that trading offers at least twice as much benefits except when it is not backed by sound knowledge and skills. A trader is a holder, but a HODLer is not necessarily a trader.
705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: October 28, 2018, 09:19:42 PM
Most of us that come into cryptocurrencies trading have this in mind that when bitcoin is in bearish trend we are loosing money and that is why we are seeing thread of loses in this bearish market.  Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.

Its because majority of us haven't seen a bearish market before, that's why we don't know how to react. We used to see crypto price peaking at some point so long term holding is the most viable method to make money. However, since the start of the year, the trend changes, newbie traders panic and didn't react in a timely manner. They still have this mindset that crypto will somewhat reversed, sadly,it didn't happened. So there's a bright side in 2018 for all of us, be flexible on our trading method otherwise you its not gonna be profitable in your end.
Calling a spade a spade, majority of so called traders are not literate enough in trading and many got here owing to FOMO. The solution is in stepping backward to get properly equipped with the right knowledge and skills, because trading is an art that needs to be learnt. HODL is not trading.

As for profiting in a bear market, yes profits can be made in all kinds of market, by applying appropriate approaches and techniques. One approach obviously would never measure up, which unfortunately is what a lot of traders have got.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is $174. It is the bottom of the chart. on: October 28, 2018, 08:55:13 PM
And it turns out that ETH to this day still stays around the $ 204 price, still very far from expectations for $ 1,000. Actually if the ETH can jump above $ 500, I think that will make a lot of people smile. I don't know what is happening at the ETH. Sometimes this is really boring and makes the head hurt.
ETH still got lot of potentials and a future! Whenever you're privileged to get some at a very reduced rates, don't pass it up! Beyond that, you shall need the virtue call patience, everyone, whoever made money in whatever field of human endeavor, got it.

Sixteen Cents To Sixteen Hundred USD, Nice win  Smiley

0.00002500 BTC = 0.16 USD

0.24747500BTC = 1600.00 USD

snip

 Shocked 9900 x bet.
I think this is highest multiplier I've seen so far. Can you tell whether it was from faucet earning?
If so then it's pretty amazing and this guy is superlucky (or superhacker).

9900x hits aren't that special. I had days I had 10+ 9900x hits. If you roll enough you get it often, just once every 10k rolls on average.
They certainly are special and you can tell that much if you ever tried hunting for one. It doesn't turn up that frequent and the guy above was indeed super lucky. Maybe you can hit a few and show to us how easy it gets with you?

Looking forward to see Doge come on board, it makes a more discrete sense!
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LastLaughingGuy - day trading diary on: October 27, 2018, 08:40:07 PM
Long GVT 250 at 0,0020636

abit risky if we lose 0,00200 it can go to 190 -stop loss 0,0019999

Quite impressive, I must say and going through your posts, one can see how the journey to BTC2.9 was made possible from BTC0.29, keep it up! I relish the part, where you nonetheless create time for family. That's exactly how it should be, when we make all the money without family to share it with, then are we really poor.

I want to know though why except for Dash, you seem not to be interested in the more established coins, which obvious should have more liquidity?

Here's what my take in the above trade formation would look like - coming from a Head n Shoulders formation.

709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: October 27, 2018, 04:42:03 PM

Conclusion:

I know it’s all individual. Some people trade days and night and they feel pretty good. I just told you my story with my experience. I don’t pursue anyone to stop trading. It’s just important for me to warn some people who can have the same problems.

Your topic title is misleading. Based on your story,  I see that you already have a health problem even prior when you entered trading or while on your way, you really not take care of your health that's why you ended up like that.

Like you said, there are people that do trades almost the entire day but still showing a good health. It's about how you disciplined your body or if your body is really like that since then, you have to adjust for it the moment you enter trading.

About stress, why stress? Losses? Regrets? It's part of the trading and you must already know how to handle it since you mentioned that you are addicted to trading meaning you already built a great trading experience by now.

Well then, just take care of your health.
Summary is, trading is not unhealthy but approach can make it one. Some people stay glued to their trading screen almost all day, chasing every movement albeit noise in the market and taking in those daily doses of omg, ahaaa, geez, wt#, etc. Those are what stress feeds fat on, but they are avoidable and one sure way is to plan your trade and always trade your plan. Profitable opportunities will always abound in the market, so no need trying to catch all in one day. Take a walk often, go be with family and friends and once your computer or platform is shut down, also shut it down in your mind.

Lastly, form a habit of withdrawing part of your profits and give yourself a treat - life is for the living.
710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did the price of Bitcoin suddenly spike up (October 15, 2018)? on: October 27, 2018, 03:53:06 PM

What do you think is the reason why all of a sudden that whale's confidence spikes up and invest his millions on BTC? He must have an inside information either from exchanges to financial institutions or ETF council?  You don't just do it because you see the price seem not getting lower than $6k, if I were him and without any information from anyone that its a good day to buy, I wouldn't buy.
Yes, there is certainly a method in that madness, $500M bet on Bitcoin to rise does not happen every day. It either confirms Tether is on fire or Bitcoin is finally geared up for another bullish run. Experience from trading shows that breakouts don't just run along, they mostly retrace to test and even retest the prominent support level before giving it a run, so let's wait in excitement as the days go by.

At any rate, selling Bitcoin at peak prices for Tether and buying them Bitcoins back at lower rates is a smart and profitable move to take anytime Bitcoin loses steam.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many projects are dead on: October 27, 2018, 02:11:34 PM
That should be expected as it is a natural principle. Most projects are dead because of poor management by the team members because they lack the expertise in crypto and failed to seek for counsel from experts. Also, projects with no backing product or tangible ideology behind is likely to go down the drain as it will lose the interest of potential investors.

I think it's community support I have seen a project with the working platform but it does not generate support from the community the ICO was a success but the dev failed to market the platform for the community and because of this investor losses confidence and sell their coin at a loss.
That's inexperience and greed at work. Couple of projects have had successful ICOs, because the exponential growth in value of Bitcoin and lots of altcoins turned the crypto market to another gold rush. Some ICOs even cornered more than their projections and now instead of turning that a blessing to the underpinned projects, it metamorphosed to a jinx, because the developers still jaws wild open. I know of Two-TV that short changed its bounty hunters, when it came to rewarding them for promoting their brand, someday they would understand the harm in underestimating the community.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for undervalued cryptocurrencies on: October 27, 2018, 01:45:15 PM
The bear market has been going on for a long time. I noticed that many projects have almost no money. They don't have the money to go to a better exchange, and even the most basic marketing work is impossible because there is no capital.

Now I like to look for projects where the value is undervalued and lack of funds. Can you recommend some with a short description?
Shouldn't you be looking instead for projects that have lots of money and are trading at a fraction of the value of the money they raised? If a project has run out of money after doing an ICO it is unlikely to be able to survive. Projects that still have a healthy bank balance and are trading at a fraction of the value of the money in their bank are the ones that will rise in value.
That's hitting the nail right on the head! In the first place, one should be wary of any project that failed to hold its own, when it had a 100% chance of doing so. It's not the same thing to describe them as undervalued, because they are not even valuable yet and any more funds thrown in their direction, most likely would be good money after bad money. Profits only come about, when there is demand and supply and if there no people willing to buy from you, you're back to zero.

Better to stay on beaten tracks and especially as almost all the established coins can technically be said to be undervalued at the moment.

713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in other platforms other than Bitcoin on: October 27, 2018, 12:34:52 PM
Yeah I know about the Bitcoin and i love it but im searching for No.2 bitcoin that can gain me profit in the future as well.

would be greatly appriciated if you know one with great propect
Going by your query, I see there is a lot more you need to know to survive the hash reality of the crypto markets. If you know the things that made Bitcoin #1, then you're half way into what to look for from a crypto with potentials and there are many of them out there, but are probably oversold at the moment, you'd step and walk over them while searching. Suffice to say the answer you seek is hidden in the knowledge you acquire.
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which indicator's are best for BUY decision? on: October 21, 2018, 10:30:23 PM
Have you tried using Bollinger Band in your trading before? if not then start augmenting it into it now. Bollinger Band is plotted two standard deviations away from a simple moving average. It is base on this principle , the closer the prices move to the upper band, the more overbought the market, and the closer the prices move to the lower band, the more oversold the market. This can help you to time the buy and sell of any coin.
Yes Bollinger bands is one utility indicator for ascertaining when to take a position in the market. I usually verify their signals by also throwing in RSI or Stochastic in.  Usually a good buy is whenever price approaches the lower band from below - usually after a breakout had taken place.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High fees on some exchange! on: October 21, 2018, 10:08:53 PM
After trading and cashing out, I would convert my btc to ETH because ETH withdrawals are cheaper than btc that costs a lot. I would also go for ETH pairs on trading, not unless that alts you have has no ETH pair.
We were trying to run away from Shylock banks and now we're having to contend with exchanges. Withdrawal fee of 100k Satoshi when transaction fee is only a few thousand Satoshi is unexplainable. I most of the time have my coins exchanged to Doge, before moving them out of the exchanges and that saves cost for me.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Crypto-Currency on: October 21, 2018, 09:24:57 PM
To me there are positive news for the cryptocurrencies market and that is to say that government of India has seen positive things in cryptocurrencies and the only problem I have seeing there is if governments can tax cryptocurrencies earning they will definitely like to used it.
Is that really a positive news for the cryptocurrency markets? All I see is same old story of liking the blockchain technology, but hating Bitcoin and it looks like the Federal Reserve bank of India are about to add a more dangerous twist to the ugly situation by setting boundaries for their proposed coin.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't wait big investor, We are investor on: October 20, 2018, 02:16:56 PM
I don't agree with you op. The fact is that this year has been extremely horrible for both small and big investors on the whole who have invested in this volatile cryptocurrency market and you cannot blame either one in this scenario.

This bubble is basically something which many including had anticipated for quite sometime. I honestly felt that Bitcoin would pick up its pace again towards the end of the year due to various reasons like the SEC proposal going through etc which clearly did not happen.

I think that the crypto market will rally again in a big way only if some big country legalizes crypto or if the SEC proposal gets approved although I would not bet on these scenarios.
I see OP did not say anything other than drumming up belief and support for Bitcoin from each and everyone of us, instead of folding our arms and waiting until institutional investors swoops in. Bitcoin is a competition to local currencies and we can be sure most countries will never legalize it and won't ban it either. It's up to us to start creating more businesses around Bitcoin and before long we'd be stimulating more demands and it gets better from there. We have not done badly so far and Bitcoin would soon be 10, but we can do much more!
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty needs KYC to receive reward? on: October 20, 2018, 12:56:57 PM
In most cases KYC is a necessity to prove your identity for bounty and it is a requirement of SEC and of most exchanges.
It is easy for me to pass KYC, because I have all documents and it is like 2 minutes to upload it
When you deal with well established exchange or brokers, KYC, doesn't come up until the amount involved goes beyond a certain significant level - big enough to finance crimes not when peanuts are involved. Bounty hunters are promoters not investors and they hardly earn something significant from the campaigns, so asking KYC from them is a misplaced priority or a clear attempt to defraud.

You can tell a project is calculating to scam its bounty participants, when at the tail end, they start asking for KYC even when they said otherwise at the beginning. They know most bounty hunters would rather not go through KYC and so they end up not getting their rewards. Now, what's that, scamming of course! A project like Two-TV  did as much, till this minute, they refused to make public, the bounty campaigns spreadsheets and then slammed KYC to get rewards, they'll reap what they've sown.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: October 19, 2018, 09:12:10 PM
Yes it does matter if governments and banks starts accepting cryptocurrency because it will open the gate to many other people to join the crypto community and start investing in cryptocurrencies.
It is always better for bitcoin to be regulated and accepted rather than being banned. The bigger the community is the wider the adoption will follow.
When many people starts using cryptocurrencies, more money will flow into crypto and the coins will get widely distributed thus the value of coins will get increased.
It's true banks and governments acceptance of cryptocurrency would boost the mass adoption, but that won't be the end of the story. It would also mean the governments finally got Bitcoin where they wanted and the price would now become what they wish. I see it not going down well and to a very large extent, Bitcoin was created to bypass banks and governments.
