701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 13, 2018, 01:36:06 PM
Democracy is truly a very broad term which could be used in a thousand of ways to support or refute what Bitcoin is promoting. However, as for me, I would prefer to stick to the fact that democracy represents the majority. And the majority is a representation of a desire to emancipate themselves from the claws of the rich and the powerful few. Bitcoin is on their side.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: November 12, 2018, 10:39:19 AM
I see the market is gradually recovering. Is this the right time to buy Altcoins. Let me see your ideas

My idea is always simple. When there is a huge dump happening, try to make your wallet fat. That is the time that even your moderate amount of investment will get something significant because of the cheap price. We all know that after a huge dump, there will be an even bigger pump. After the bear comes the bull. And right now, we are only waiting for the bull to arrive.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚡⚡⚡ BITCOIN for Long-term investment ⚡⚡⚡ on: November 12, 2018, 09:18:41 AM
You are right. Bitcoin is best for long term investment. Although of course you could also make some good profit by tracing the short term movements and make some nice patterns out of it. However, if you believe in the technology that it brings and yet you do not have the great skills for day trading, you will be best for long term hodling. At the end of the day, there is certainty that its price will rise as adopters increase in numbers.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: November 11, 2018, 09:19:51 AM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

Well, I cannot say yes to it. I can only hope, along with the millions of solid supporters of Ethereum, that it will happen. But if it will not happen at the time you are speaking of, I am more than willing to wait for a little more while. I know for sure that it will reach that, if not in January, then perhaps in the first quarter of 2019. Or, who knows, this December 2018?  Wink
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: November 11, 2018, 08:49:14 AM
Hi, friends. Ethereum looks really bad today. 200 $ lower than in September 2017, do you think it will recover with the crypto market? Or is this the end of ethereum?

What does not end? Hell, even the king Bitcoin will end one day. Who would have thought that the money we know now would also end? Until we started to hear and learn about cryptocurrency. We now have an idea that sooner rather than later, it will be replaced. What I'm saying is that, it will end, yes, but you do not talk of ending when you are still at the beginning. We are at a very early age. And insofar as Ethereum is concerned, it has yet to unleash what it  truly is. That will happen when the world is already opening wide enough for crypto.
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: November 11, 2018, 08:17:26 AM
I think it will have an effect. If people is made to believe that there is a pump that is going to happen, they will buy, out of sheer faith in what's coming, of the dream to make oneself wealthy, or even out of FOMO. Either way, they will be led to buy. The same is true with FUDs. People will begin dumping and selling cheaply because of it.

But the wise ones do not just follow what others are doing. They make their own analysis and assessment before finally deciding. But they are too few.
707  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: November 11, 2018, 07:52:33 AM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?

There is no secret as to why Bitcoin remains very popular despite the powerful governments and banks trying very hard to stop it. When Bitcoin started, they only have a few pages of their whitepaper published and presented. What happened later was almost impossible, with its market value reaching billions of US Dollar. What do they have? They only have what the banks do not give to their clients: freedom and real ownership.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Risk in 2018 on: November 10, 2018, 03:55:39 AM
If you look at the cryptoccurency market situation lately it is very disappointing and even the opinions of observers become divided, some consider this to be common, others consider this situation very dangerous for the development of the crypto world.
The most important question of the condition is whether such market conditions will affect investors, or is this a situation that investors want?

The crypto market has always been characterized with people who are divided in their speculation and outlook. Whether the market is on the rise or falling, a united view will never be achieved. There will always be diversity in perspective. The market right now is good to those who are very eager to fatten their portfolio. But to those who bought later in 2017 and earlier this year, they are on a waiting game, and, I admit, it is a bit painful.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Believe that there is a crypto cartel suppressing the price of BTC? on: November 10, 2018, 03:25:12 AM
I've heard that there are people wanted to suppress the price of bitcoin up to 95% from it's all time high. The article also said that they also suppressed the price of gold and silver. Maybe we are experiencing it right now. What do you think about this?

There will always be manipulation to a certain extent. The rich are the ones who can only do this. The simple investors, even pooling together, cannot influence a market that is in the billions of US dollars. While I think there are market influencers present not just in the crypto market but also in the stocks and in forex and in any market to be exact, they cannot dictate everything. Especially in crypto.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the currency of our future? on: November 10, 2018, 02:53:52 AM
Hey,

I have been investing in some btc recently and i have seen that in my country i can pay for example in a pizza restaurant (when i order online) with online coins.
Do you think that btc will become the future currency of our world?

Not necessarily BTC alone, but cryptocurrency will definitely be the main currency of the world in the future. And Bitcoin, being the most popular and appreciated coin will be the top crypto in use. Of course, you will still have other alternative options as there will always be great altcoins around. Depending on the use, there are certain apps or market that have exclusive alts as their main currency.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: November 10, 2018, 02:23:26 AM
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.

Nah, I do not think the way you do. There are so many altcoins that I highly regarded as amazingly solid. You cannot just generalize and divide the entire cryptocurrency between Bitcoin and altcoins. Altcoins are composed of so many highly different coins. While many of them really sucks, you simply cannot say that to, say, Ethereum (ETH) or Cardano (ADA), etc.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future prospect of cryptocurrency? on: November 08, 2018, 08:36:36 AM
I am leaving job and start working with this market. Is it wrong or right?

I am not saying those who are thinking otherwise are not right. Neither am I underestimating the income that you may generate through cryptocurrency. However, I always maintain that leaving a permanent and good-paying job for crypto is not worth it. There are so many reasons, but most of all, you can always strike some balance between your regular job and cryptocurrency. Everything's about time management.
713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2018, 07:12:34 AM
Bitcoin is only as promising as the people themselves. If the people will begin to lose trust and patience, Bitcoin might also go down with them. Remember that the value of Bitcoin is solely dependent on the people's interest and demand of the coin. If these two will perish, the same will happen to the value of Bitcoin.

I say, you continue to HODL. The future is very bright. One day soon, .001 BTC will become a treasure.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 ETH where to invest on: November 08, 2018, 06:19:13 AM
i have 3 eth is there are any ico which will give me even 3X return on my investment. or is there are any hyped ico i should go for or any undervalued altcoin

You don't have much options right now. The ICO market is terribly affected by the weak overall crypto market. The best option for me is to stick to ETH and wait for the market to recover. But if you are really interested to invest your 3 ETH in an ICO, IOVO might be a good choice. Learn more about the project through their website or the ANN thread to know more. Decide when you are already familiar with it.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Deal Coin - Decentralised P2P Lending Eco-system - $15M raised in 3 days ! on: November 04, 2018, 07:32:37 AM
For now, albeit observing a little shady steps involving the project, my overall sentiment is still of trust and hope. Hope that despite the very weak market for the last several months, the project, having proclaimed to have raised a significant amount, will deliver something good.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Deal Coin - Decentralised P2P Lending Eco-system - $15M raised in 3 days ! on: October 13, 2018, 09:22:42 AM
We are waiting news till august, but nothing.  This is big project, raised 24m$ , but can not make any news for so long.
I think you should be patient because the market is still in downtrend and big news has not yet appeared in this project. The project's development team is currently working on major exchanges and I'm sure they will give people a big surprise. Q4 2018 will be a good time for new projects to build their ecosystem
i agree but they can give some info to investors/bounty participants about plans etc.. i know there are no exact dates about distribution/exchanges.

There are actually rough information given through their Telegram channels. But there are no specifics yet. Perhaps they will be releasing them as soon as everything is crystal clear. It is worse if they release commitments and cannot fulfill them, knowing that the market is still suffering until now.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise altcions fall! on: July 25, 2018, 06:27:42 AM
After a long period of dependency we see now that the bitcoin rise alone and other major altcoins are down or stay at their price...what do you think about that

This is not unusual. We have seen this pattern several times before. Although it is not the only pattern we can see in the movements of Bitcoin's price versus the altcoins' prices, it was always a possibility that when the price of Bitcoin becomes very aggressive, the altcoins will somehow suffer. That is something that may possibly be brought by the shift of many investors from altcoins to Bitcoin.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: July 25, 2018, 05:54:49 AM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??

You know what, we should not trouble ourselves with stuff that is almost impossible to happen. Everything may be possible and we should be open about it but it is very obvious to us, according to the developments of today, which ones are probably going to happen and which ones are not. And looking at how Bitcoin is gaining support from governments, there is no point worrying about your concern.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: July 24, 2018, 04:15:36 AM
Market predictions, if done by the legit experts, could be a good way to create profit. Predictions may seem useless to you perhaps because they came from pseudo-experts. The problem is that the market is right there in front of us and anybody can make predictions. But if you are not able to make something of the prices and the graphs, you will definitely need good predictions from those who really know the thing.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum reach the top? on: July 23, 2018, 12:27:34 PM
I always choose Bitcoin every time it is compared with other cryptocurrencies, even if it is Ethereum. Ethereum is already on top. But that is limited to its altcoin category. It has been at the top and the second to its rank is quite far from its position. However, if you include Bitcoin, it would definitely be Bitcoin that will surface as the top. Ethereum will have to settle down with the second rank.
