Cameroon surprised the world tonight. Being the first African nation to beat Brazil in the World Cup. This is a historic win for Africa. They put up a dog fight against Brazil and won the game. They didn't make it to the next round but I’m super proud of their performance. If they had put up this kind of performance in their first game against Switzerland, they would have stand a chance tonight to qualify for the next round. Kudos to them.
No doubt. Cameroon has some good players like moting and aboubakar. Cameroon has been making new historic win against brazil. that's very sad to see that if cameroon didn't qualified for the next round as it was only collecting 4 points in total. Cameroon was not lucky enough in the previous match but some stars like aboubakar have been performing so impressive against brazil. Cameroon has all it takes to qualify from the group match but they didn't realise it early enough. They benched the former Basiktas star - Vincent Abubakar. Such kind of players are not benched for any reasons. Abubakar was the reason Cameroon came back into the game as he came from bench and effected the 3:3 that gave them hope to meet Brazil and Abubakar still scored against Brazil. He is a hero. |

Harry Kane is always associated with big teams. Previously, he is rumored to join Man City, but it failed because Man City successfully signed Erling Haaland. In the next transfer window, both Bayern and Real Madrid may try to sign Kane, but I doubt Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur before the season is over. I assume Kane is trying to give his best contribution to the club before he is leaving. Bayern Munich should keep their attacking line as strong as possible as they have started to show a high level performance in the recent times. Mane needs to be treated as good as possible not to miss their PSG game at least. Besides Choupo-Moting might also leave the team as it seems. They need to keep their score contribution as big as possible.
For doing this we might see an offensive move in January by Bayern Munich maybe. I actually think that they were planning this for next summer but they might need this even in the middle of the season. The Bundesliga isn't much difficult for them maybe but they need to stay strong for the Champions League.

The performance of African countries in this world cup is great. 2 out of 5 qualified but all the 5 countries were remarkable even if some didn't qualify. Morocco top their group. Tunisia defeated the world champions which is France, Cameroon won Brazil. It is a nice outing for African countries and it is nice for FIFA to increase their slot because some other good African countries didn't qualify like Nigeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Mali and more of them. |

What I mean is that his face was bright and he was very handsome looking like a model. He doesn't appear like someone who is still under injury. I think Real Madrid will prefer to wait for the end of the season to make a transfer for the centre-forward position. They can already do a good job with the Benzema - Rodrygo duo in this time period. There is already a great example of this about them. They won the Champions League and La Liga titles both last season without signing a new striker.

I don't think with Arsenal and Barcelona only are the team have favorite for Europe League winner because still have Juventus back to consistency performance at last six matches, right now Europe League tittle race most competitive for winning the second competition level on European. I feel like both Spain and Germany are far away from their brightest days. This is main reason for last night to happen. Japan was always good enough team in World Cups but in a way they were always behind qualified European teams or South American teams. But this time they could compete with both of them. Eventually I don't think Japan can achieve far high ranks in tournament but going to next round as leader in a group of Spain and Germany is great achievement.
Both Spain and Germany were not in their brightest form, Spain is even better than Germany. It does not mean that they don't have good players. Germany front line is complete Bayern Munich front line. You will see Gnabry, Musiala, Muller, Sane and more and yet they could not proceed to the next stage. The reason why we don't believe countries like Morocco and Japan to succeed in the next stage is because they don't have the experience. Morocco has been performing very well since the start of the World Cup. They have been playing consistently well and have emerged as group champions. Chelsea is a really interesting team when it comes to the Champions League. They always seem the underdog in this tournament. But they are always one of the teams to be careful against in the Champions League. Because they have played completely different here for long years. It is like they have been caring about this title more than the Premier League title in the meantime. I don't see other explanation to their success here in the recent years. We can give the 2020/21 season as an example for this. While not many people were thinking of them to win the CL title they just made it.
There is a question occupying my mind like whether this would be another season similar to that. But on the other hand I just don't give it much chance. Because we still haven't seen an example of a strong performance. They struggled against even Dinamo Zagreb so I don't know what they can do against the biggest title contenders.
Most teams tend to take the Champions league competition more seriously than their league and Chelsea seem to be one of such teams the season because that is the best explanation to their successful stats in the Champions league and struggles in the league with same players and same manager. I agree with you that Chelsea should not be underated in the Champions league because if their poor form in the league, who knows whether the Champions league trophies is the major objectives for them this season. Juventus are said to be interested in Gvardiol these days. But their future is still not clear at the same time after the last incidents. Coming back from world cup straight into europa would have been hard, it's good that we are not going to have it back to back, teams should rest a bit and do just league games for a few weeks before they play serious games. That way everyone would rest a bit, and then they can get back to being the way they are and it would help them a ton.
I personally would love to see it go on even later on, like not even afterwards but more like April or so, and just condense the games quicker, once every week, that would be a lot quicker results and would help the fun be a lot better as well. Because that way we would get both better players that are rested, but also more games for a good 2 months.
It is unfortunate that covid-19 has spoiled the calenders of thr World. Many things are not happening in their time anymore and this time around it is about FIFA and Qatar with their weather. There is no rest in football anymore. If not FIFA, it is European Nations league, champions league, Europa league and even conference League that is very unnecessary. Bayern Munich's priority would surely be to sign as young striker as possible. But I don't know if they can find a better striker than Kane meeting this criteria. I have seen on twitter and the fans are writing about Labbadia and they are not in support of the appointment. It is bad when a coach is not accepted in his new club. I tried to know about Labbadia, and why Stuttgart fans are rejecting him. Anyone knows about him and his history with Stuttgart that has caused this repellant to his appointment by the fans? |
