7901  Other / New forum software / Re: is this child board about discussing beta software? on: August 24, 2019, 09:09:26 PM
I've heard talks of this new software for eons but never really see any actual talk of implementing that software which was developed with millions of dollars worth of crypto.
I have a simple question really, if that new software was implemented would profile details like merit, trust ratings etc get carried over there? And the content on this forum deleted forever?
7902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which US bank is the most crypto-friendly? on: August 24, 2019, 09:03:01 PM
Hi, guys! I'm not sure such banks are exist but maybe you know one.

It depends on the state you are in. Signet bank has its very own cryptocoin and many small banks are adopting cryptocurrencies as long as the local laws allow for it. It is only the big corrupt banks that are making a fuss about adopting crypto. They can't stand the thought of a future where they are not the center of everyday monetary life of people..
7903  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hi, we are CoolDex! We keep it Cool, you get the Dex. on: August 24, 2019, 09:00:59 PM
I think earlier today I read this article from some korean source of how 95% of all exchanges are on the verge of bankruptcy.
I guess, that article never really does enough digging like @Slow death did here, which is just basic google search really. I bet 95% of the 95% crypto exchanges that article claimed was on the bankruptcy are exchanges like these. Businesses that are largely just a one-man show and only pretend to be 'professional'.

I am not sure if I can get that link of that article so please, none of you ask me for it  Grin

Word of advice, do not pay upfront no matter how reputed the account looks to you.
Always use escrow to pay for your deals. There are many trusted escrows on this forum and you can even use some offsite escrows platforms as well. Apart from that, try posting in the service section of this forum or the project development section. There you will find many takers that are talented developers and would gladly work for you.
7905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to improve LocalEthereum? on: August 24, 2019, 08:49:28 PM
- The display for RTL languages such as Persian and Arabic should be improved.
- More payment methods. I can see that even the widely used ones such as Neteller, Perfect Money and Payoneer are not supported.
- Better filters. I find that useful with Gift cards, where you could select which gift card are you interested in selling/buying instead of showing everything that is available.

Apart from that, I think they're doing a good job and we have to compare them with LBC, they do have a better UX/UI, no enforced KYC/AML (I believe), and still support in-person cash trades.

I personally like the no KYC part because I am bit fussy about sharing personal information when it comes to that. And I like the UI but, its too purple for my taste. However I'm not complaining.
I would like to see some token integration really. I mean they are already supporting external wallets and everything. Allowing token trading p2p would be great too, I don't think that's been done yet by any exchange.
7906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / How to improve LocalEthereum? on: August 20, 2019, 04:25:04 AM
As you guys can see from my signature, LocalEthereum is hosting a signature campaign. If you haven't heard of this site, please go ahead and click the link in the signature and test the site out.

My question here is, what do you think can be done on this site to improve it?
Perhaps integrating a secondary DEX or p2p exchange within this platform to trade Ethereum collectibles and tokens? or maybe they should consider becoming a payments processor like bitpay? But focusing only on Ethereum and its tokens?

I am not the owner, just a participant in this campaign. But what do you think can be done to bring this platform out of the shadows of Localbitcoin? Please make your views heard in the replies below.

It seems that this guy, welovekimchi is killing it on the BullBank. His rewards relative to the amount bet are consistently over 32% which if you think about it is not bad at all. Are there going to be any other brave souls  Huh

I'm glad I have never been part of your campaigns but why don't you first pay some of the old participants the thousands of dollars that you already owe them?

Yes, they're very good at these and to be honest I'm not complaining as I'm taking advantage of all of them Smiley The races they do are great as well

I would love to see more games added to the platform though, particularly ones that are PVP ideally with a player chat too Cheesy

Just to let you know that all of these themes that you posted here are available in Cgpersia/Cgpeers for free. So if you want to build a name for yourself, first try to add value by not adding free stuff here. Good luck
7912  Economy / Services / Re: Help me recover stolen BTC on: July 23, 2019, 05:59:23 PM
It would be wise to mention exactly how much BTC was stolen, and what the reward for recovering it is.

After all, recovering stolen BTC is an incredibly difficult process, and is typically impossible. For somebody to even attempt it the reward would need to be substantial.

For seriously high amounts, you might consider attempting a blockchain re-org, or reaching out to major exchanges to blacklist the funds.
7913  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Free faucet🚰 7-day streak bonus 🔥 on: July 23, 2019, 05:56:27 PM
Love a casino that really understands design aesthetic, you've done a great job with both the playing interface and the actual website design.

Is there any further information about the 7-day streak bonus? Can't seem to find it on the website.

I see some high wagers up there for the race, with eostown11114 at the top. The guy wagered over 250,000$ and currently stands as the top rank for this race winning the max pool which in my opinion you better win something with the amount he bet  Tongue

Actually it does not really matter if he wagered more than the prize because $250,000 does not mean he lose everything on it. May be only spend some of this money to make this huge wager. Or may be he is profitting from the site. Who knows? This will be an extra cash for him as well

Anyway, about the quater payout, how is this be counted? The total for each week of the players wagering? Or it will starting after the time limit?

I agree with you that the wagering amount does not always equate the loss and that that person might have even made a profit
7915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing books on: July 13, 2019, 04:19:42 PM
..Horse racing is dying slowly.

grim reality!

I see some in internet that cloudbet might have horse racing, but their gambling sites down right now because of they are upgrading. I’ll update you if it’s true.

Don’t want to recommend some gambling sites that I really never heard.

<...>

Badly missed DirectBet. The first gambling sites that i’ve used, where my first bet, my first win also.

Does anyone know exactly why they folded their operation?
7916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia, Philippines, Indonesia and India support crypto the most on: July 09, 2019, 05:43:00 PM
don't u find it weird? The less eveloped counties support blockchain implementation the most? what is the reason? possibility to earn or to steal?

Link to the article: https://ambcrypto.com/indonesia-russia-philippines-and-india-among-countries-whose-citizens-actively-support-budding-crypto-projects/

It is weird and even if the article suggest so I wouldn't trust just everything I read. It makes no sense for these countries to lead the crypto, I mean we all know it started it countries far from these. I'm sure these developing countries are also using cryptocurrency but no way near the level of the power leaders such us US, UK and other European countries.
7917  Economy / Services / Re: Coming soon - Gamblingtec Signature Campaign | Get BTC or your own casino brand on: July 07, 2019, 12:20:02 PM

I have no doubt that the many reputable people would do a great job. We, however, have a culture clash here. By law, we need to do KYC on anyone offering a financial type service. By culture, no one offering such a service is going to provide the information we require. To hand over private information for a few lousy bucks is not worth it to them (I would not do it) and for us to do business with a third party for a few lousy bucks and break our contracts, is not worth it either.

So it will be better for everyone if we start our campaign small and show that we are trustworthy.

I don't understand why you are failing to understand this simple logic. Game-protect guy is a fuckin idiot and multiple people including myself have spoken against him. He is unstable and clearly not the right person to act as an authoritative figure to protect anyone's money let alone be an escrow. He can't be trusted. You can pick literally anyone else with hundreds of time better reputation than him and the odds are that you'd be able to KYC them. It's not about culture clash, you are only making it look like that.
7918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency In The Gambling Industry: All You Need To Know About Bitcoin on: July 05, 2019, 11:01:52 PM
Privacy or Anonymity, that is the two words that summarize why Bitcoin or any other crypto currencies are used in gambling. I do love gambling, I do it with my friends to have fun but online gambling is different. You know who you are gambling with offline but online, there is a risk that is the reason why people feel safer using crypto currencies. That is also the reason why people don't usually like gambling sites with KYC.

Yes, anonymous transfer and transactions of the BTC across the Lightening Network is one of the major perks of cryptocurrency in gambling. Online gambling has now become such a market that cryptos and casinos are being developed all the time. Cryptocurrencies have made possible for many users to embrace technology and gamble from the comfort of their homes either playing with friends or random people, it makes no difference since you're in for the game/experience and hopefully some profit  Grin
7919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: July 03, 2019, 10:35:56 PM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/

I think there was no celestial involvement to particularly pick this man (even if he deserved it) or any other higher order but rather pure chance and he just got what we call "lucky". I suppose after buying lottery tickets for what was a few decades ago a lifetime by the odds are relatively probably that  you'd end up getting something in return. In his case, he just got damn lucky and good for him. Though, I do not think this is an example people should use as the outcome is very probabilistic.
7920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: July 02, 2019, 10:55:25 PM
Honest truth be told, lately no. For the past weeks my luck has been so unreal that with every little gain the loss was > 2-fold. This has really made me think and reconsider the whole gambling industry. The problem is that we hope to just get that lucky shot but the process is so painful and frustrating that sometimes you cant help but wonder  Huh
What experience do other people have?
