7181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN INVESTMENT IS BETTER THAN NETWORK MARKETING? on: February 18, 2019, 10:25:11 AM
While it is true that bitcoin investment is much better than network marketing, there are also some risk in doing it, well. in any business and investment there will always be a risk, its depend on how you take it and how much you afford to lose, bitcoin has many advantage than the other, and we all aware to that, that is why investor choose it rather than the other investment.

Yes, this is one factor we need to consider, - risk. I haven't done network marketing because I know I'm not good at it, so I look for other means to make money. I have friends, family members who's into MLM, sure they're successful, but it's not for me, so it's a case-to-case basis.

But since I involved myself more of a freelancer before, and discovered bitcoin, and found investment on it is much better fit for me as compare to MLM or any other investments. So it really depends on the individual itself, both have risk but if you learn you to mitigate and make money the we can't say which one is better.
7182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX account hacked/compromised *HELP* on: February 17, 2019, 10:25:15 AM
It's pretty obvious that he has been phished already, and I'm sure that we are all sorry for him.

So let this be a lesson for everyone, no one is really safe, we really need to protect all our passwords, private key because those hackers are not stopping. Actually the attacks has been very troubling because it has doubled in the last 2 years or so. So everyone be safe and always run virus or malware scans and never exposes your pc or laptop by clicking links around.
7183  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for team for our projects on: February 17, 2019, 10:14:30 AM
Thanks you very much! I will try to describe it by a whitepaper.

You don't need to write a whitepaper to describe your project there. You can simply state some details so that those who are applying will have an idea of what they getting up to.

What if someone just wanted to get hired and of course paid by doing it? But suddenly disappears when the project starts because he/she thinks that it's not a perfect fit for him/her?
7184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: February 17, 2019, 10:09:34 AM
Many at times i do play National Lottery in my own country and not all the time i won but always won reasonably whenever i play. National Lottery in my country only accept payment in local currency but hope that one day they will accept the use of digital currency.

Well that's a dream if government will also institute national lottery to accept bitcoin, but I don't know if that is possible, so let's see.

Well I used to play lotteries as well, but I have no luck most numbers I got is like 5 out 6, so I won a few but of course the target is the millions of pot money. I know if base on pure lucky and the odds are astronomical, but hey, you just don't know, maybe one day you will be lucky and hit that millions.  Grin
7185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: February 17, 2019, 10:01:16 AM
I guess the problem is that companies (1) are not really aware what bitcoin is that's why they're not offering it a means of payment, or (2) they know it, but freelancers doesn't want to accept bitcoin because of it's volatility.

I remember when I used to work at odesk, me and the company I work decided to go to pay using paypal back then. They offered me this option maybe they don't want to pay the percentage to odesk or something, but I don't know that reason. So it's possible that it can be setup, bitcoin as means of payment, that is if both parties agreed.

7186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherscan UI was updated on: February 17, 2019, 04:55:44 AM
People do you noticed how good the Etherscan's interface was updated.

I like it now even more-)

Yes, noticed it already and it's a nice interfaced. I think MEW also come up with new designed as well so it's all good for the crypto sphere.

But for me, as long as we can used it daily without any issues then there's no need to re-design. Nevertheless, I think the people behind wanted etherscan to be slick and be contemporary so there's no wrong with that.
7187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: February 17, 2019, 04:05:30 AM
Personally, I think the bull run will probably start in the last quarter of this year.

So far there is no sign that the bulls are ready yet, they're just waiting for that one news that will make them jump and get in the market again.

I say September because that's the start wherein people received bonuses already and will slowly and silently put some money as investment to bitcoin or crypto. So we have to wait and see, just be patience and adjust your trading or investing strategy so that you won't get burn easily in this bearish trend.
7188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Marketing on: February 17, 2019, 03:55:09 AM
Your goal should be to target people that aren't already in the crypto space.  You should go after the elderly and soccer moms that see it as a path to financial freedom.  You don't want to be advertising to young kids and teenagers that are usually broke.

I disagree. Crypto is global and encompasses no boundaries so why he should target just one demographics?

Everyone has already posted good suggestions to the OP, it's just a matter of execution on your end. Get someone to get the word out specially in social media platforms and wait for the result.

Just don't get high expectations in the beginning though, marketing is a slow progress and you won't get the results overnight.
7189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TREND is our Friend on: February 17, 2019, 03:50:21 AM
Of course trend could be our friend if we know how to used them to our advantage. Others like to fight trend and still believed that we can get over this bear market overnight, but they're wrong and I'm sure they have lost so much money now because they don't want to admit and chooses to go against the flow.

But even in a bear market, we can make money by shorting or day trading, might be difficult but it's possible to book profits today and let the trend help you that.
7190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Make things possible on: February 17, 2019, 03:45:47 AM
Recently, there was some post similar to yours (using crypto to make their vacation dreams possible) and I wouldn't be surprised if this is somewhere in the Philippines again.

Nice to hear another successful story though. Sometimes we need this kind of news to keep everyone in the positive mindset as we all know that we're still in the bearish market and I'm sure some of the people are losing hope. Congratulations and I'm sure that you're planning your next vacation because next month will be the start of summer already.  Grin
7191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your take on crypto robots? on: February 16, 2019, 11:42:09 AM
I saw a topic the other for mycryptorobot, and now can not seem to find it using the search engine.

How can you use robots to trade for you?  I'd be interested to hear more.

It's easy, get a bot set it up and then you're ready to trade.

But, you have to remember, its just a bot, everything will still rely to us, humans. The most difficult part is how to set up your bot so you won't lose without you knowing it. So its not that easy.

If you're starting your trading journey, I would suggest that you don't used bots, by try to learn everything manual at first. At least you have a better grasp on some technical, like setting stop-loss and other trading parameters. And then when you have that experience already, you can venture out and buy some bots to make life easier for you.
7192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chainalysis Secures $30M: Despite Bitcoin Crash, Crypto Venture Money Still Flow on: February 16, 2019, 11:16:57 AM
I also don't see any positive effect except that they will be given more "blockchain intelligence power" to try and investigate issues like money laundering and the usual criminal acts, by partnering with exchanges. I'm not sure if they have partnered with top exchanges of today, but at one point, trading platform will need their help in the future in cases of hacks.

So I have mix emotions if they will be given so much power to track and de- anonymize users. And I totally agree with @figmentofmyass here, I prefer the old days.  Grin
7193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the end near for ripple ? on: February 16, 2019, 11:06:51 AM
As you have said JPMorgan is having their own private coin for internal purposes only, so there's no effect on Ripple whatsoever.

Ripple is crypto, so people can invest on it unlike those private coins that coming up like the JPMorgan. Would banks rather create their own when there is already a working model like Ripple that they can used?

I think common sense will tell us that they don't have to create their own token, used Ripple and they're good.

So I don't think that there will be competition between JPMorgan token and Ripple.
7194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems to me Bitcoin is getting over the bear sh*t on: February 16, 2019, 05:02:21 AM
Now the price of Bitcoin is at a very critical point and it is very difficult to decide between the possibility of going down and up. I think, it will attract new investors to Bitcoin some new news and developments are needed, I hope it will come soon.
Yeah the price hasn't seen a significant change, prices are up and down still in a small margin. but honestly I would not call it a critical position because the price occasionally increases even though it is small, maybe we will experience a high increase if some positive aspects come like trends and issues, and this year certainly positive issues will come, just wait!

But isn't it a good time to accumulate?

We're not in the critical position right now because the price seems to be stable @$3600 and there's no indication of an incoming drop.

But the bear still on the top of the market and we need to break those mental barriers like @$4k to be able to see some semblance of a bull run.
7195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitTorrent Continue To GROW !!! on: February 16, 2019, 04:20:12 AM
Yes, I was able to get it when the price is still cheap and I was very surprised it quickly jump, however, it looks like there's some dump going on the last couple of days, because the current price is $0.000922.

But Justin has done a good good shilling for this token, hehehe. Anyways, I still see some pump in the coming days, so just continue to buy before the price shoots up again to as high as $.002  Grin. Although I see some members doesn't want this project and very negative about it, but as long as you can make profits, why not take the chance?
7196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: February 16, 2019, 04:09:59 AM
Well, I will share one moment when I played in a traditional casino, last Thursday. I played on this slot machine, and sit beside one old lady. And then when I hit the first and second reel with the bonus and the third is rolling quick and its possible that I can hit the bonus, this lady suddenly jumps out of his chair and suddenly push my button.

She reasoned out that I could stop it and captured the third reel with the bonus. I don't know if I be mad at this lady or what, but I just decided to laugh it off.  Grin. Didn't get the bonus though, so I just stop and just look at other slot machines. Very weird but it really happens.  Grin
7197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Community Is Now Dominated by Speculators Not Criminals!! on: February 16, 2019, 03:36:19 AM
well you rigth as currently the crypto community is filled with so many speculators who try at every point in time to predict the price of bitcoin or what will happen to bitcoin as they are only bothered about making nothing but quick profit every now and then

This is a free and open market, so you can do anything, be your a speculator or whales or part of a pump-and-dump groups. Of course everyone wanted to make money here, whether shorting bitcoin or just by holding, to each his/her own.

Nobody complains when the price hits $20k, so we can say as well that there's no reason to bitch around when the price is $3k. Everyone should learn how to make money, doesn't matter which cycles we're in and that is the beauty of this market.
7198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan 2017 - 2019 on: February 16, 2019, 03:29:16 AM
I think you got it wrong.

First, the Jamie Dimon attack in 2017 was done not to attack bitcoin per se, but to cause panic, I mean he wanted to bring the price down because they're secretly buying tons of bitcoin during the dip.

https://news.bitcoin.com/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/

And then they launches their own tokens, we can't call it crypto though because its for their private used and I'm sure they won't offer it to investors. Instead they will used it around their banks to help lessens the fees and the transaction time for their clients.
7199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest shitcoin of 2019? on: February 15, 2019, 06:55:23 AM
I think everyone should understand that this could be a private coin, meaning it's for JPM used only. But the ironic part is that they will used blockchain technology here. hehehe.

He keeps saying nasty things about bitcoin but on the other hand, they love the technology behind and now they're going to used it to save them lots of money and their business model will be more efficient and productive because of the speed of their transactions can be maximized. No more waiting like 3-5 business days before you can be credited, because with blockchain technology, everything will be very quick and you don't need to go to a lot of channels since data is immutable.
7200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading In Venezuela Keeps Setting New Records on: February 15, 2019, 06:48:33 AM
I checked the Localbitcoins data expecting to see them hyping 10 BTC worth of volume or something. But I'm actually pretty impressed. There's been almost 2,500 BTC in volume this week (and that's just volume through the LBC escrow system). Year over year volume is up around 680%. That's nothing to sneeze at!

https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins/VES/BTC

I'm also impressed. but I think we will see up to 10 times higher volumes in Venezuela in next months. Crypto is just the only real way to use some money there and the situation is not going better at this point. The hyperinflation killed the whole local economy.

Right, Crypto is the only way out and I don't think they have a choice but with crypto around, it's there number one option for now to fight hyperinflation which slowly sinking the country. Juan Guaido, the interim President is pro-crypto so this is a good sign for Venezuelans.

However, if Maduro doesn't want to step down and will fight till the last drop, it may sink Venezuelan's even more and I don't think that crypto will save them. But good thing is that crypto is still alive and Maduro's government can't do anything about it.
