TECSHARE is a psycho. I was admiring my awesome trust page earlier today when I figured I'd click the "untrusted feedback" link to see what the people who don't matter think about me. Surprise, TECSHARE left me this feedback -- 6 months after our transaction -- because we had a disagreement about a scammer last month: "He also raised the price after I paid him the original amount he quoted. I regret trading with this user."Here's how I "raised the price" after TECSHARE paid the original amount I quoted: Hey there! I made an error in calculating shipping costs -- the actual cost to ship the poster flat (not rolled) is $40 instead of $20, which is a difference of 0.04btc.
If you like, you can pay the extra 0.04btc to have it shipped flat, or I can ship your poster rolled in a tube which is slightly cheaper, and give you a 0.01btc refund. Let me know which option you'd prefer -- if I don't hear from you, I'll assume you'd like it shipped via the cheaper method.
Cheers! (Emphasis mine) As you can see, the DEFAULT option in the above statement is a partial refund. TECSHARE chose to send me more money, even though the default was for me to actually give him some money back. If he had not responded to my message, he would have gotten a partial refund *and* his product. Nevermind the fact that he bought TEN posters -- I guess he thought he could flip them for a profit. Nevermind the fact that he knew what the posters looked like when he chose to pay extra to have them flat-shipped. I received his extra 0.04 BTC on September 3, one day after I posted photos of the finished product. Photos posted Sept. 2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756955.msg8632282#msg8632282Extra payment received Sept. 3: https://blockchain.info/tx/e358de3dd08b91bfd6c08cf2e1ae9ffb9218f78e13ac9490441e97dff71c4bb2Sucks that he doesn't like his posters anymore because he doesn't like me, but you can't stop people from being childish. Based on this evidence, I am comfortable stating that TECSHARE is a plain-faced liar and an abuser of the trust system. Avoid him at all costs. I'm not surprised. I too experienced one of his psychotic episodes: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=846683.0His feedback history reads like a bi-polar manifesto.

I can already see it ^worried^
a. It will be a centralized. b. They will be able to manipulate it c. It will run on IBM data centres d. It will NOT be annonymous. e. The taxpayer will pay the bill.
This ladies and gentlemen is not good news for Cryto's like us. There is no positive side of this for us. ^Sad^ Some would say, not having to print fiat will be a saving, but running a centralized network and infrastructure will absorb all of that.
The positive side for us is the fact that they are moving in our direction ... There was a time, long, long ago when there was only savings accounts, then they came up with checking accounts , decades later money markets, and CDs (Certificated of Deposit) ... At the time when CD came about many in the stock market trade cried then, as you are doing now, lamenting that they are not really market driven instruments. Sure they were not, but they did serve the purpose of being a gateways instrument to stock market consideration. Just like stock market options was a gateway item that lead people to commodities and futures markets. Cryptocurrency have absolutely no safeguards so look on the bright side they may not have jumped on the CC bandwagon, but take comfort in the fact that they are still traveling in our direction and to the same destination -- successville.

Lots of places have been doing this for decades. Often these days, to honor the privacy of the patron, the fast food gives out a number on the receipt after you pay for it and before the order is actually filled. Folks who know about the name-call, often use a fictitious name just so folks don't know what their real name is. Toco Bell has been doing the number thing for a long while (# still on receipt) but I suppose this is a more personal touch.

Hi Armis, In order to tell you what my price is, I need to know few things: - Do you have a Logo for you site? If you don't have one, do you want me to do it?
- Those rectangles in the middle are the campaign snapshots? Do you want me to do a larger image with that part?
- I'm not getting very well that 'category image' that you posted.
When I know this answers I'll give you my bid and the time that I'll take to do it. Best, Newton1 Thanks for your interest in this project. There's no proper logo yet; simply use stylized text What you called "category image" is the campaign snapshots located in the middle of my image. That is the very heart of the project is so many ways. You start there because it is the most important part of the page, then you place everything else in proportion to that. The Campaign Snapshot should be big and inviting, we should be able to see a number of them on the screen, and as we scroll down we see more, everything else on the screen is secondary or tertiary. use www.indiegogo.com as your reference without the slider

I am the recruiter for btcfeed contact us in Skype: btcfeed we could use another author our website is btcfeed.net
I too am going to bookmark this page because both you and the OP will likely want to be involved with PICISI when the site is launched. PICISI will be a crowdfunding site that accepts fiat and CC. I will issue a token that will be used to pay contractors to do work on behalf of the site one of the biggest jobs will be 'recruiter' to find admins, organizers, sponsors, donors, and campaign contractors. One of the Admin jobs is "Content Director" this might be good for OP -- The Content Director is responsible for everything seen on the site, his primary focus is to make sure the site has very many highly attractive campaigns, he should also work closely with Tech to make sure the the site is user friendly, secure, and robust. Campaign contractors work for the campaign organizers to help them create, develop, and promote their campaign(s), the site would provide free escrow service. Campaign contractors mainly work for campaign organizers (paid by the organizer), but they and/or anyone could choose to do PICISI assignments (paid by PICISI). We will always have a long list of assignments we want done. We will pay with tokens, the value of the tokens will vary from time to time, however it is expected to be rather stable because we plan to issue them regularly and buy them regularly. Our plan is to use funds derived from fiat fees to buy our token at the site of our exchange sponsor at prevailing rates. With the token tied to the business that should result in a rather stable coin.

Talk about trigger Happy. I recently saw this: So the question is: "When Is A Double Post NOT A Double Post?" Ans: When the first one is locked before the second one is created. Perhaps the mod didn't notice that I locked the first thread before I started the new thread. I hired a contractor in the first thread, he later backed out of the deal so I wanted a new start with a fresh new thread. So quick to judge wrongly, why is this?

the main problem is the fact that bitcoin is a nascent technology, with a very small niche community we should not have so much negativity associated with it. The Media doesn't get 1/1000th of what actually occurs in our industry. I bet even the most informed of us don't know 1/10 of the wickedness that is already available to know https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0It wasn't simply that silk road and mt gox were financial black eyes for BTC, the key people at the heart of both disasters were also board members for the btc foundation -- the very FACE of BTC. Now lets put this into relative proportion, image just 2 years after the USD was put into circulation that Alexander Hamilton and one of his buddies on the Federal Reserve board independently decided to fleece the fledgling commonwealth of some enormous amount of their wealth. This is just madness replayed over and over again. If we want btc to thrive we've got to make it a safe instrument to work with. Integrity and accountability must be par for the course.

I wonder what percentage of total bets in Vegas are made in Bitcoin. My estimation would be less than 0.5%. They have a daily withdrawal limit of $9999 per customer We'll have to wait a couple of years before people start hitting this limit. 99% of Bitcoin gambling is still taking place online. Although it is owned by 1 casino my guess is that it's used by very many people for all different reasons, and not just selling bitcoins for cash but also buying bitcoins with cash. Instead of walking around with cash, just buy some btc transfer it to an electronic wallet and funds are relatively safe. If a btc atm was up to 10 miles from me I might find reasons to use it at times, even with the heavy fees. My point is people will travel for miles to do a btc transaction. Do you really believe that a person who packed his bags and went to spend a weekend in Vegas to drink and gamble will invest in Bitcoin in a random ATM. This person will be focused on how much cash they got left to play with, not on long term investments or browsing sites to install a wallet. My driving point is that the ATM may be at a casino to withdraw money to use at the casino, HOWEVER, my guess is that most of the usage is done by locals putting in money and taking out money.

The EMC2 board unanimously endorsed PICISI. The HYPER has endorsed PICISI and intends on being a sponsor. Hey Armis
As you know HYPER has been behind this idea from the beginning!
We are hoping to use the platform to have game developers raise funds for their indie games / online games that incorporate our currency.
Happy to help out with a PR campaign and perhaps we can also help with developers to bring the project to completion
Just let me know what HYPER needs to do, to be able to be a host cryptocurrency for people crowdfunding to develop HYPER games.
We can also do a large PR campaign to announce the project when the time is right.
Thanks!

Yes, there are currency exchanges around the world. The exchange rates are set just like the exchange rates of cryptos, mostly by supply and demand (buyer and seller) but there is some influence by media, some by the trading systems (bots, mgmt), and some by regulators.
This is just the technical solution, but will the central banks, who create and control such a Coin in general allow speculation? Or will they just set the exchange rate to their national currencies (similar to the IMF's SDRs)? Gold was never "abolished" and still remains the most widely accepted tradable currency in the world.
When the currencies were in a gold standard, you could demand gold for your paper note. Nowadays for a paper note you get just another paper note from the central bank, no gold. The central banks abolished the backing of their monetary base with gold. You ask who WILL do what, of course I don't know that, but since the SEC and FINRA are the police of the current fiancial systems on behalf of govt I see no reason why their powers won't be further extended to cover the additional areas. As for the gold standard, yes we went off of the gold standard when it became evident that we could achieve more with faith and promise than glittering gold.
