721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Coin Miners - stop wasting hash and start making more money! on: May 28, 2015, 06:05:44 PM
As a smaller miner, Smarterhash is the best thing I've ever done.
I looked at it when it first came out and thought ....Meh, I can do that on my own, I always have.
Broke down a while back when the money back guarantee came out.

It's a tool, that used properly, helps you decide what do with the hash you have.
It's a fact....most miners are just spinning their wheels , hashing away on coins at high difficulty and low block release against other miners doing the same.

If you want your hash to mean something ....get Smarterhash.

I've stayed on wallet 0.1.4c since a while back as all these 1.5 been going up.
My 1.4 stopped synching at 9 hours behind so I figured wth, time to move to 1.5.
DL off syscoin website and nothing I did could get it hooked up to network.
The classic "No block source" message. Added nodes...tried most every tick.

Flushed it all went back to 1.4 and it seems hung still.
Any ideas?

I'm no noobie at wallets but this has me stumped.
Thanks!

True.....the CGminer 3.1 is kind of long in the tooth.

The "Rewards" info is a nice touch. Thank you.

An EIN is literally the social security number for a corporation.
If you are a sole proprietorship ....you use your ssn.

LOL....Love the picture of "wormy" on the last page. Nice touch.

Read the details in the blog under "Legal".

While it is certainly good news it's makes me wonder for what?
An arrest implies some criminal charges of some kind finally being applied.
While the Syscoin Team's action is civil.
I admit I'm not familiar with UK laws and that you can't disclose much at this point......
I just wonder if you think He'll come off your money now to get out of jail?

Six blocks in a server day with a little time left (can we say seven?) ......pretty unfreaking real!
Congrats Kano.

went to bed shortly after 343652.....woke up this morning to 343666,343676 and 343703.
Now THAT'S BtC mining.
Bitminerpro and Canaan....Thanks!

-edit OMG here's another!....343739
Can't believe it!

Amazing how sometimes after restarts we get lucky.  Shocked

Ah....thanks wondered what happened.

Congrats!
At least on the bright side the pool has averaged a block a day......some of them have been dang tough!
some other larger pools haven't even done that.
733  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [2700 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: February 10, 2015, 03:01:06 AM
When do the blocks pay out after how many confirms?

Kano just lost his brother .....relax you'll get your payout.
If you've looked through this thread you will not find one incidence of problem.
You do know on whose pool you're mining?

I wish you long life.

Condolences.

Why does every thread on BCT have a fudder? I mean really....it seems they bring their own twisted view of the world in general and crypto specifically to an otherwise helpful and informative place.

Thank goodness we have an ignore button.

When you add to your hash does the added hash have to go thorough the 500% thing?
Or is it just added to your exisiting right away?
737  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [2700 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: February 08, 2015, 04:06:09 PM
Finally got another C1 up and running.
Isn't much but at least another 1TH in the pool.
yay... Cool

Sung to Devo.....

"Crack dat block!"
738  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer C1 Setup [HD] on: February 08, 2015, 03:10:29 AM
Thank you for your response.
Bitmain manual says "red" light flash....only ones I see are through the cutouts for the power connectors and on the blades or does the Ethernet connection lights flash red?

I can usually work my way through these kinds of things.

Had to move one of the pcb pins from the 3 volt to the 12 volt position on the pump/fan connector at the psu plug. guess the position is different on this ev3a 1000 G2 psu I bought .

update- thankfully heard from the seller, confirmed that was his ip address and he forwarded his user and pass.

I'll finish tomorrow morning.
I love these miners, so quiet. I really think folks with high temps didn't bleed the air out completely. my temps are always in mid 30's to 41 C.

739  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer C1 Setup [HD] on: February 08, 2015, 12:47:07 AM
not where the miner is right now but I will try it when I'm able.....is that the default on some?
740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer C1 Setup [HD] on: February 08, 2015, 12:11:07 AM
I know it seems that you and Bitmain have had some sort of falling out....but your guide was so much help when I got my first C1...new from BM.
Bought another recently from an eBay seller. Well packed and setup, once I got through moving the red wire in pump/fans harness so it got 12 volts instead of 3 volts, I found I couldn't reset it. Lucky I found the router had assigned it 192.168.1.59.....that got me to log in, but root/root doesn't work.

First, why am I not getting a reset? Next do you think the 192.168.1.59 is really its ip and not just what my router assigning it? I set my first one to 192.168.1.200 as a "fixed ip", no telling what it would show if it was just plugged into another router. There again, I got to the login screen with the 192.168.1.59.

I've emailed the seller for login but I'd really rather reset. Conflicting info between Bitmain manual and your guide about resets and can't find much more on it.
Thank you in advance.
