No more waiting like 3-5 business days before you can be credited, because with blockchain technology, everything will be very quick and you don't need to go to a lot of channels since data is immutable.

Right, Crypto is the only way out and I don't think they have a choice but with crypto around, it's there number one option for now to fight hyperinflation which slowly sinking the country. Juan Guaido, the interim President is pro-crypto so this is a good sign for Venezuelans.

However, if Maduro doesn't want to step down and will fight till the last drop, it may sink Venezuelan's even more and I don't think that crypto will save them. But good thing is that crypto is still alive and Maduro's government can't do anything about it.

@kavabanga07 - I totally agree with your analysis, we need to break that $3700 and it seems a mental barrier in front of us. Although the price is $36xx currently, it's not an assurance that it will not fall down even if there's no volume.

So far we're still in the bearish trend and we need to retest $3700 ASAP so that at least some shift in momentum is coming on our side. If the re-test is successful then for sure there will be short FOMO to $4k. Let's see how it goes.

I don't know how long can someone can keep that huge amount of money. Authorities will be hot on her tail, that's for sure. But just like a said, it will still be used for drugs, no doubt about it.

I don't think that USD will simply collapse though, there's too much at stake and I'm sure that US will prevent it because of the devastating effect it can bring not only to the country but through the world economics as well.

As much as we like bitcoin to be a single world currency, I don't think it not that very simple and would just happen overnight. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it would takes years to be accomplished, imho.

This stability has something to do with investors doesn't want to enter and take the risk because they have lost so much in the 2018. So they are quite reluctant and will wait till the bulls emerges and take the market again.

But there are sets of investors who's willing to plunge in and take the risk to be a bagholder and bought lots of bitcoin. I also think that there's a big chance that the price could go down again, so it make sense to wait till it bottom < $3k before entering.

I voted that it will go down around the $2800. Why?

I think that we really need to bottom and see the final capitulation before we can eventually bounce back and recovered slowly to the $6k-$6500 range.

And it's not easy to see the price going down, a simple negative news will create another panic resulting in another massive sell-off, but we should look at the bright side and stash tons of bitcoin when the price goes < $3k, no need to wait as this for me would be the last bottom.

At least its nice to hear that people around are still in the positive attitude as far as crypto is concern and they did understand that this market really operates like in a cycle so I'm sure that they are just waiting for the next cycle to start to make money again.

I haven't spoken to my friends though, but I do hope that they have the same positive attitude otherwise I will have another difficult day ahead of me for explaining what's the bright side of this bearish market can do to them, not in the current situation but the future effect.

Yes, it was a bit scary in the closing minutes because the Knicks came back but as the saying goes "ball is round", and it was a big push for the 76ers giving everyone a big relieve because we have broken our losing streak.

I say it's funny because there are even a lot of people saying that bitcoin is not on a downtrend and won't go below $4K but we have seen the drama in November last year that causes the price to go below the $4K that the OP is asking about a year ago.

Also shows that predicting the price movement is very very difficult and no one can really tell what's going to happen in the future and even TA is not a good indication or help for longer term predictability.
