742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose ICO, campaign. Tips. on: December 03, 2018, 06:40:46 AM
Hello. I`m the regular visiter of the forum for almost an year. For the most part of this time i had no certain criteria to choose ICO or bounty programm and because of that i was scammed several times. About 3-4 months ago i discovered some important factors, that can help to find successful project and i decided to share it with you.

1. Choose the projects with the ended presale, estimate the result of it. Usually, presale nicely shows the future of the project and the work of the team. If everything is done perfectly, they get enough funds(sometimes project collect softcap at this stage), then the project will have more chances to stay alive after the ICO.

2. Look for the project with partnership with famous advisers or organizations. For example, Azbit project (live atm) have Roger Ver in their team as adviser. Or Bidooh project have OKEx as their token holder. However, dont just believe, check everything! I wrote to OKEx support to get details.

3. Pick up the projects, which tokens have been listed on exchange already. That`s one of the best choices. DCC bounty campaign was live when token was on the exchange.

4. Take part in the projects with some special rewars system. For example, my current signature. They share ETH in special task contest every week.

5. Projects, where devs are just enthusiasts and they are not going to run ICO are good and perspective too. Example: semux, privcy.

That were my tips, which really help to pick up a good project, because they reflects the seriousness of dev`s intent, attention from the society to the project and the approximate potential. I hope they will help you someday:)

You can also share your own tips here.
Have a nice day

A helpful guide on figuring out which sucks and which is not, read carefully on what the OP has stated it is indeed important for the Newbie Bounty Hunters in order for you to not get scammed whenever you'll be joining in ICOs, pick the trusted and most especially the legitimate ones. Goodluck!
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream media more and more into bitcoin-- on: December 03, 2018, 05:41:17 AM
Since Ohio has made quite an entrance, I think because of this the media would even bring out more interest in BTC, in a good way or in a bad way, I don't know if the media would be against or with BTC or they would just simply be unbiased in bringing out news for us, nonetheless I don't think that year 2018 would end up good for BTC, but lets just assume that 2019 would be a comeback.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: December 03, 2018, 04:22:23 AM
Right now hearing is delayed (again!) to jan 15, 2019. We can expect more delays and I assume they will take negative stance.

This is kinda sad, especially for the Indians that are looking forward to fully engage in cryptocurrencies since the Government would finally take their final decision, but the problem is that the hearing is always being moved to another date, though I wish they would realize that having BTC in their country is a big help, India is a country that people are heavily relying on technology and I think that with Bitcoin being introduced there then the citizens of India would also take this as an advantage since they are very good at handling technology.
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 03, 2018, 02:39:01 AM
I have to admit that this is really the worst situation for HODLers, the price is low, the price even stayed at this rate and that people are losing hope if there would even be a comeback, but the real HODLers will set their patience high, I know that the real HODLers here have benefited last year and I know that they won't let themselves be fooled about things like this.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: December 02, 2018, 03:52:13 PM
[quote author=btcrut2017 link=topic=5060966.ms
Yes you are definitely right, If Manny wins in this one he'll probably get a rematch, the age gap between pacman and broner is quite huge and I think its gonna be a fight against the experienced boxer against a bruiser and probably a hyped up one, I heard what Broner said, he is pretty confident in the press con, but I'm.still sticking with Manny on this one.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: December 02, 2018, 12:34:22 PM
Just learn self-control and you'll be alright, this is the main attitude that you need, don't be reckless and just play the game, gamble right away and whatever happens will happen, and if things don't go out right, just try out your luck next time instead of spending it all and going all-out.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: December 02, 2018, 11:51:17 AM
Everything has an advantage and a disadvantage, we all know how to HODL, but what we do not know here is that there are numerous possible outcomes when it's time to HODL or its time to USE it, HODLing is quite a risk because  there will be times where you have to PANIC because of qhat people are saying or because the price is getting too low and you are being uncomfortable with it, and then there will be times wherein the price would continue to go up and up and then goes down quickly and after realizing that you will begin to panic sell that because you think that if you don't sell it the price would continue to go down, be decisive, HODLing has millions of possible outcomes, be wise.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i buy bitcoin in Japan? on: December 02, 2018, 11:24:20 AM
I think the forum is not the only way on identifying on how to buy Bitcoin/s in japan, Japan is a country that is very civilized and will probably tell you how to purchase Bitcoins without hesitation, the only problem you'll be having is to learn how to speak in Japanese, hopefully you have a friend there that knows how to speak in Jap and hopefully people here would be able to help you out.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: December 02, 2018, 08:16:51 AM
Not a waste of time, I gamble because I enjoy the stakes and everything, It relieves my stress, though if you go too far gambling can also give you stress, self-control is probably the most important thing that you need to remember when in gambling.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember your first sports bet? on: December 02, 2018, 06:49:08 AM
I love and know the stakes in betting in Basketball, specifically the NBA, it wasn't a bet wherein I used crypto, it was 3 years ago, GSW has a game against OKC then I knew that it was going to be a close battle, I placed my bet for GSW since I am a big fan of the splash brothers, It ended up very close and I thought that there will be am overtime but Curry went for a very deep 3 then it ended up getting the W, I was the only one who placed a bet for GSW, a lot of the people put their bets for OKC, it ended up so good that I got a lot of profit through that bet, and they xalled it beginner's luck for me, they were very pissed but I got the money and went home with a smile in my face.  Grin
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is ''SPORTSBET.IO'' is GOOD? on: December 02, 2018, 03:30:37 AM
Well, you already heard it from them, I don't even think there's left for me to say about this SCAM thing that the OP is trying to prove, let me make this statement in a brief manner, SPORTSBET is highly respected in the community and I'm not saying this because I am in the sig campaign, but I am saying this because I have been using Sportsbet way back and have never encountered anything like this.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 01, 2018, 10:55:24 PM
I don't think it's even necessary to say that HODLers lose, because if you are still HODLing now, just hold it, don't sell it, it's not the end, just think about all the possible outcomes, last year was a different end game, the price marched into its highest point and what we are seeing now is totally different from what we've seen last year, and for HODLers and investors don't think of this as the end of BTC don't fall into the words of these jokers and deceivers.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero has the potential on: November 30, 2018, 06:08:08 PM
Monero has the potential allright. But, wether the potential is enough to match the value of other "privacy coins" or not, is yet to be seen. Any prediction or such attempt will be futile.

Monero has indeed the potential, but what do you exactly mean by potential? the potential on replacing BTC or stepping into the throne? Well if that's the case then I don't think it will happen, though it has the potential on becoming one of the great cryptos since it is on the top rankings in the market.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: November 30, 2018, 04:43:23 PM
just like other cryptos ETH will rise eventually, I can see thar other currencies tend to slow down and go downward but skyrockets again in a random manner, and as for ETH moving down to the 3rd spot, I think it is quite upsetting for the ETH holders there but I assure you guys that ETH will make a comeback on that 2nd spot sooner or later.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: first term "HODL" on: November 30, 2018, 02:55:09 PM
And this is the same thing that I saw in another topic, and it also states the user "GameKyubi" and saying that he was drunk and the whole HODL thing started because he was drunk and mistyped the word HOLD, and thus the word HODL became the trademark, its quite hilarious but I think the OP just reposted this one, nonetheless it is quite informative and entertaining at the same time.

this is interesting, because everyone will often make this decision. traders, investors, or speculators.

the term "HODL" appeared in 2013, and came from a GameKyubi post in this forum. with the big theme "I AM HODLING"

he posted the theme because bitcoin dropped to $ 600 from $1300.

and today, investors prefer hodl. but, what is the decision for traders today? or many investors are turning into traders?

in my opinion, HODL or not, it has been the decision of each trader, because they also certainly have a goal, whether it is long-term or short-term. as long as they can be wise, that's not a problem. If everyone is hodl, it's not good either. the coin trading volume will also shrink
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's go to Singapore! We can pay with Btc there. on: November 30, 2018, 04:34:00 AM
Singapore is a country wherein technology is pretty much familiarized to everyone and the discipline and everything that revolves around SG is simply amazing, and now that it is official that they have finally settled everything in I think everything will be much better including the uprising economy of SG, I'm going to try out visiting there next year.  Cool
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: November 30, 2018, 03:22:03 AM
Probably those non-believers who wants BTC to die because they don't know how to operate nor even earn BTC and thus what they will do is ruin the community by stating falsely constructed opinions regarding around BTC saying to the community that if they don't sell now the price will continue to fall but as you can see the price moved a little bit high right now and I believe that's a progress and probably a news that I will want to hear.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: November 29, 2018, 01:56:34 PM
I did not know about this up until now, I always hear the word HODL from my friends but none of them even knows the origin or even where it came from, and now that I have this information I will be looking out for other answers if it really is legitimate, but I am actually amazed with how HODL was introduce and it came from a drunk guy, just really hilarious and at the same time cool because it has been a trademark ever since.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: November 28, 2018, 01:25:39 PM
Do you mean you forgot your private key? There is no way to retreive your private key. You are the only one responsible for your private key.

Copied from the MeW website:

MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords, nor reverse transactions. Protect your keys & always check that you are on correct URL.  You are responsible for your security.

You should've placed it somewhere SAFE and DON'T lose it, and you can't even blame MEW for this since they have never even lacked on REMINDING us to always save our private keys somewhere safe, they even offer you more secured methods on opening your wallet and not even only on accessing private keys, and that is why you should never FORGET your private key since MEW will not save you for losing it, better luck next time dude.
