742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 05, 2020, 04:25:38 PM
The fees to send ETH are minimum $5 in fees ... is it going to change back to "normal"?
Who dictates how much fees are charged?

If ETH is claimed to be decentralized where are those high fees coming from if not from a centralized party?!

As strange as it sounds, the amount of transaction fees is chosen by those who send transactions on the network, i.e. you and I and many other ordinary people. Each of us strives to make sure that his transaction is completed as soon as possible. When miners form blocks, they choose the transactions with the largest Commission amount (the cost of gas) and form blocks from them.
A simple explanation is better than a thousand words, the ETH network works based on hierarchy. Who pays more will get funds faster and the rest will wait until the next mined block clearance happens. The cost of gas has increased a lot and $0.1 worth transactions in 2019 now cost more than $3. ETH2.0 should solve this infinite loop unless the market becomes volatile again.

All the people are waiting for Ethereum 2.0. Are you sure that it will bring reduction in the cost of transaction fees, and faster speed? Personally, I do not hope for this very much, but I try to adjust my trading based on the existing situation.
743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: September 05, 2020, 03:39:25 PM
I know a lot of projects, not only from the field of gambling, that do not have their own topics with announcements on our forum. This is normal, they have such a marketing strategy and for some reason they decided not to start their topic here. However, it is very difficult for me to assume that people associated with cryptocurrencies have not heard anything about our forum at all.
Well, that is simple logic, those gambling companies touched the Bitcointalk forum and want to promote their brand name, they need to create an ANN thread [this is not mandatory but it is necessary] . The meaning of [ANN] is announcement thread where they can update anything about their project developments, promotions, and events. In this section also, it was pinned posted the rule that it should be 1 thread per 1 gambling site, beyond for that, perhaps it will be deleted by MOds. On my own, ANN thread is necessary if you are promoting your company but if you are only shilling here, it is up to you.

Don't confuse normal projects and scam projects. Normal projects need a theme with announcements more for connecting with the community and announcing news and announcements, as well as even for advertising, but not for shilling.

It maybe hard to believe but there are really those projects that havent able to find this place but i do agree on what you had said that its odd for them not to able to browse or
to know that this place do exist specially when you are dealing with crypto.

It's interesting that there is a whole other industry of crypto related projects out there that don't rely on, or have never heard of the forum yet are able to flourish.  Clearly to answer the OP No, not really. People really can get by without the forum.

Having said that however, it should be noted there are nearly 3M registered users on the Forum, so that is a market that is being missed out on by these other groups.

I know a lot of projects, not only from the field of gambling, that do not have their own topics with announcements on our forum. There are really times which you do need to skip out and dont force yourself to make up positions even if you do saw that losing chance is somewhat high but there are really people who do really likes to gamble rather than on skipping out.

In result? if they do lose then they do regret and murmured that they should havent make a trade but its already too late.In the case of op where he do expect that he entered the right time by just because of that
triangle pattern but the movement is going on opposite as anticipated.

Come to think that no matter how good your technicals are, crypto market can easily break those analysis.

In other markets, technical analysis does not always or always work, but traders do not interpret it correctly. In the crypto market, this is even worse. In addition, the trader needs to be able to perform technical analysis correctly, the slightest mistake will be fraught with consequences.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sure, We have good DeFi project. on: September 04, 2020, 06:43:19 PM
Sure, we have good DeFi project, but there is still high risks. For example, yEarn Finance token YFI already worth 19 130$, higher than bitcoin. The coin was issued on July 18, 2020 and started with $35. A month later, on August 18, its price had already reached $12,800, overtaking bitcoin. Today, the token has reached a price peak in the area above $19,000. In a month and a half, YFI rose by 50,000%. A coin that is only a month old is already so incredibly expensive, I could certainly be wrong, but this is the last coin I would invest in, too loud to call it a bubble, but it can't be anything else. Such a young project simply physically can't create such a real value in such a short period of time, this price is conditioned by faith in further growth, not by project development.

You're wrong. At its peak, the coin was worth over $ 38,000. And even now, its price remains higher than $ 30,000. This can be clearly seen on the coinmarketcap website.
However, I agree with you that this is a huge bubble that will eventually burst and bury the money of unsuccessful investors.

yeah, thats why its better to wait and see what will happend in the next few days with all kind of thus project above my friend
because in my opinion for now its too risky if somebody want to buy this altcoin

It is quite likely to grow further in price, because it offers a real opportunity to earn money.
However, it is worth remembering that this token already has too high a price, which has a chance to fall much more than to grow.

Of course, it is worth responding to the claims of such a person. In addition, from the very beginning, it is unclear whether he is a Troll or not. However, if you see that a person is a fraud and writes messages in order to Troll others, then I would recommend sending such posters to ignore and do not respond to their messages.
I feel like "don't feed the troll" is a real thing, it is not really a hidden fact or anything, it is actually a proved to be working method. If you ignore trolls and if you just let it be, they have to leave, now if there is cyber bullying and there are hundreds of people mocking you for something that could be hard to ignore, however if it just one person trying to get attention, as long as you ignore them they will leave.

Remember gambler-protect or whatever his name was? Dude was around the gambler world all the time trying to sabotage or blackmail his way to wealth and bothered casinos as a living, that was literally his way of making money, dude is banned and gone and nobody even remembers him that much, over time nobody will remember him. So, just ignore them and they will be gone out of your lives eventually.

This is the correct approach to trolls, I also wrote about it.

In the topic next door, there was a discussion about why some casinos do not want to open topics with announcements on our forum. Perhaps the presence of trolls is the reason for this.
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What went wrong here? on: September 03, 2020, 06:42:54 PM
Thousands of traders face such problems every day. They arise from incorrect technical analysis, from deceptive insider information, from their own conjectures and unjustified hopes. Imagine what would happen if every trader would be to write about similar deals here.

it will always happen not in accordance with the original expectations when you predict that it can happen in every trade, so actually it is a common thing to happen because of wrong analysis or there is a game going on in the market they control. surely there will be problems that will occur that many people will be spectacular with the analysis that occurs, indeed you have to believe what you are going to do, maybe it will hit your heart more.

I also fail to make true forecasts of market behavior. This is why I do not trade in situations where I am not sure of the outcome. I'd rather not have a chance to make money than have a huge chance of losing.
751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: September 03, 2020, 04:44:58 PM

That would be ideal but to presume out on possible answers neither they dont know this forum or they dont just like to post up on here because they are afraid with the criticisms just like what you said but

to think that these criticisms would be beneficial at least they would able to hear out on what people are looking into and if they do find out something wrong then you can actually fix it.

Its just impossible for that reason though and also it doesnt really require money to post up a thread on here even if they dont consider on launching up some campaigns etc.

To be honest, I can't believe that people who are engaged in cryptocurrencies have never heard of our forum. I prefer the version that they decided for one reason or another not to open their topics with announcements here.
752  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: September 02, 2020, 11:04:35 PM
You would need to spend extra even into those basic needs yet its part of the marketing and counted as an expense. Results will always vary on how good your site is because even if you do

spend thousands of bucks but if the site you are promoting is just complete trash then it still useless and if you do compared on a very slight market site but with a very good design and service then this will rather have
a chance to hook up lots of players.

ANN thread on this forum isnt really that necessary but considering that this place has the most number of people that  involves with crypto then its impossible for you not to choose this one out.

In this topic, the OP was given a lot of interesting and reasonable answers why some new casinos do not open their topics with announcements on our forum. All of these reasons may be true. Some casinos do not have enough money for this, other casinos are not cool enough to withstand spoiled critics from the forum, etc.  Wink
We can discuss these reasons at length. It would be best if we found casinos that are not represented on our forum and asked them this question.
753  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: September 02, 2020, 10:03:22 PM
An ANN thread on bitcointalk and other forums is basically a free marketing.

In addition you have a platform to represent some reputation of your project, thus it's always a plus to have a topic.
However some of your team members must watch it to answer any questions.

Of course, advertising is not superfluous. Especially free. However, it is worth remembering that for a new project or casino, it is not enough just to open a topic with an announcement and let everything take its course. This will be bad advertising because the topic will turn into a flood. The project will need to hire a person who will monitor the topic with an announcement and answer users ' questions accurately and correctly. And that would be a waste of extra money. Only in this case, such a topic will be a good advertisement for the casino.
754  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: September 01, 2020, 09:35:09 PM
Sometimes its good to answer the accusation made by the trolls so that they will be generally busted and feel the shame on theirselves that they are been busted for their tries and many people will be aware about this kind of situation. Although these things are quitely a waste of time but for the benefits of others its still worth to write for awareness and clearance on those accusation posted.

But if you dont address the issue and someone just reads the Thread without looking at reviews...
He will read it and might think the site is scammy.
I think its good to reply to his claims and call them bull****.  Cheesy

You guys are right. Of course, it is worth responding to the claims of such a person. In addition, from the very beginning, it is unclear whether he is a Troll or not. However, if you see that a person is a fraud and writes messages in order to Troll others, then I would recommend sending such posters to ignore and do not respond to their messages.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 30, 2020, 11:27:55 PM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?

IDEX is the leading exchange? I didn't know about it.  Grin Grin I always thought that this is a medium-sized decentralized exchange with large commissions.
And if we are serious, there have already been situations that Ethereum was in third place when it was overtaken by Ripple. What did it change? Personally, I do not care where the coin is on the coinmarket, the main thing for me is that it grows in price when I have it in my wallet and falls in price after I sold it.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap on: August 30, 2020, 10:35:37 PM
did you guys try trading on it? i heard fees are insane. how much gas i pay for lets say 100$?
im fomo with bunch of shitcoins there as they grow insanely, i wanna catch some profit there before coins dump...

The cost of Gas today actually reached 240 Gwei, and this is really a very large number, especially for Sunday, but you exaggerate the size of the Commission of 100 dollars.

Now the cost of Gas has fallen to ~100 Gwei you can see it here: https://ethgasstation.info/

And a leader in the transaction really was Uniswap:

757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Think about when you invest in hyip website on: August 30, 2020, 10:07:29 PM
There are already a lot of explanation on how on how high yield investment programs and ponzie scheme works in this forum. People constantly warn others about the risks and scams associated with it (like the exact way you are warning!), but there are people who still fall it. They get greedy and without thinking twice they start investing in those programs and loses everything eventually! Again, there are people who "knows" that these are scams, but they still want to try their luck and see if they can escape with profit.
I might sound harsh, those people deserve to get scammed. At least they will learn a valuable lesson from it and warn others.

Everyone thinks they are shrewd. In real life, I have seen quite respectable and very smart people fall into the trap of fraudsters. All because each of them thought that he knew all the tricks of the scammers and that he would not fall into their hands.
In the crypto market, it is even more difficult to resist scammers. All because the profits here are huge and no one will be surprised by how timely purchased coins can increase your capital by ten or even more times. Here scammers skillfully disguise themselves as the same promising projects. Some do better, some do worse. However, if the scammers did not make money on this, they would not create new projects every time.
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: August 30, 2020, 09:34:53 PM
You still fighting for a problem that you know you won't win huh? At least fight with proof in your possession, Blaberring out with just assumptions will not matter. Checking your trust feedback seems you are attacking casinos without any basis. This should be a dummy account that giving a negative impression without any basis in different casinos.

Bustabit is running for a long time now and I am confident that they fix past bugs and won't do anything to stain the name of their casino.

Why prove something to this person? All you need to know about it can be read in its trust reviews. Such people should be ignored. When they don't have those who read and respond them, then they will stop attacking others with empty accusations.  These are trolls, and they really need our attention because they are trying for the public.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: August 29, 2020, 10:24:23 PM
~

You went straight from ICO to DeFi projects. You forgot to mention IEOs, which were very popular in 2019 and this year many exchanges continue to conduct successful IEO from time to time. And as I noticed, some exchanges (for example, Binance) began to actively attract the most popular or just very promising DeFi projects for placement.
At the moment, you can earn good money on DeFi, but it is the same soap bubble as in its time were ICO.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 29, 2020, 09:50:44 PM
Just an advice from me to you, do not invest in new YFI copycats popping up on daily basis due to the huge success of YFI. We all saw the surge with YFI price currently above 22,000$ which surpasses BTC price right now. This is causing a lot of FOMO and scammers are taking advantage to launch their own scam coins (YFI copycats). Examples are YFIE, YFIS which launched even without website or team information, yet people still FOMO to buy. Be careful please, just a peaceful advise.

These tokens are scams and it is not difficult to understand an experienced investor and a person who has been investing in various projects for a long time. Your advice concerns more newcomers who have now came the crypto market amid the huge growth of DeFi projects. Perhaps you should write something on this topic in the section for beginners.
