742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: September 22, 2018, 10:14:35 PM
If you're really going to trade cryptocurrencies then the news are your friend whether they end up fake or real, because they both drive the market. A trader is far better having knowledge of a news and then carrying out his due diligence to verify the authenticity of the news and taking appropriate actions than to sit on the fence.
743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: September 22, 2018, 09:32:54 PM
Trading is like an addiction, but this bear market seems will be very long. Bitcoin is going to under 6k USD, ETH is now 262 USD, Almost 80% coin fell down. I can't make profits at this moment in trading, Because after getting a little bit of profit, the market again goes under, then another coin eats my profit too. What should I do now?
Sure it's hard if you're looking to make profit by capital gain in a bear market. Bear market is the time when you should accumulate cheap coins to sell it later. But you still can make profit by shorting the market in leveraged trading. That's what I've been doing since Q1 this year. Leveraged trading give you the opportunity to make profit wherever the market is going, as long as there's price movement, there's money to be made there.

Learn how to margin trade, go to Bitmex, and short it Cheesy
I agree with you, but must point out that you failed to highlight that leverage trading is a double edged sword and could cause far more wreckage than the bearish market already did if dabbled into.
I would suggest that buying of Tether USDT when markets have more of bears and selling same when the bulls awake from their slumber, is a less risky way to short the market, through either way sound trading knowledge is indispensable.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What makes a successful trader, not a gambler? on: September 22, 2018, 07:37:06 PM
I want to add, a gambler trader goes after just about any coin he comes across and end up Jack of all coins and master of none. A savvy trader however concentrates on a few coins as possible and so will be well able to keep tabs and abreast with latest developments around the coins/tokens, which is exactly a right step in the path of profit making.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Moves to Make Decision on VanEck-SolidX Bitcoin ETF Proposal on: September 21, 2018, 07:26:29 PM
Approval of an ETF funds is the much awaited news in the cryptoworld. It's responsible for the plunge in altcoin last month and presently the reversal in the price of most coins today is not unconnected to the positive outlook people are holding. If the approval sails through, we're sure to see price plummeting in days to come.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: September 21, 2018, 06:38:47 PM
I think my luck is very bad. I can not earn good profits on cryptocurrency trading any day. An example of this is Doge coin. I invested in Doge coin probably 2 months ago. Which I bought 39 satoshi and bought a total of 126000 doge coins. It was almost 2-3 weeks, I did not check the price. But when I check price on coinmarketcap a few days ago, see Doge coin 100 satoshi cross. After that I was very happy. But when I login into exchange, for selling Doge coin, I was shocked, seeing that my coins were sold in 49 satoshi. I did not remember when I had a sell order. After seeing that I was upset. That was not the first time, before several times, I could not sell many coins at a good price 😞

But finally, an education has realized that if you buy a coin for long or short time, then you should check price minimum one time every day.
Don't be greedy, you already made some profits so you need to be contented with that and need to think about you next investment plan if you keep thinking about the old story then you are not going to be an successive trader. And remember this this is just a normal thing in the traders life so keep accepting what you made.
I won't say that was being greedy, as OP pain was that he didn't remember placing any sell order and at that rate for that matter! It would have been easier to take if the decision were his, but not as easy, when the sell order was a surprise in the first place!

Since that was not the first time OP had experienced similar occurrence, I think problem is, he must have unwittingly turned on some buttons in his settings, which he needs to undo, else the end of such ugly situations is not in view yet.
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Panic Trading! on: September 21, 2018, 05:59:41 PM
That is right, we don't need to panic all the time, we should just trust how crypto works as we must already know that dumping of the price was just normal, we should accept it and we should be able to find ways to not incur loss every dump market.
Panicking off course is not something desirable, but it's unlike a human not to panic in the face of danger. However the most appropriate course to take in the face of such news is first to ascertain the authenticity of the news and then taking right decisions. Running blind or choosing to remain indifferent is what deals the fatal blows.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you sure the market will come back at end this year? on: September 19, 2018, 11:19:05 PM
Almost everyone talking BULL will come back at end this year like last year.

I hope so, because me and everyone here diving under the sea for 9 months and still don't see light the Sun.

Last year, bitcoin has increased from the beginning of the year to the end of the year...And this year is quite the opposite.

Or maybe We have been waiting so long... so that we are delusional to something that is not real.

Looking at the pattern of the market in 2018 against forecasts, I think it is the delusional stance that best describes our die hard belief that market would rally by end of year. We are forgetting that the playground and rule of the game have mostly changed, so how can anyone expect same result to follow? It helps to understand that markets of all types are driven by economic indexes, not wishes. The rally we're itching for no doubt would come, but nothing says end of the year is the sure time.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung To Accept Cryptocurrencies As Payments- Good or Bad? on: September 19, 2018, 10:36:57 PM
Wow! I wish the news is true. It would have been a great improvement to the cryptocurrency system because this is the kind of news we are waiting for.
Indeed, it's the sort of news the cryptoworld have been yearning for, because an endorsement by such a giant company would have multiplier effect on adoption, market capitalization and prices of coins.  Almost all cryptocurrency enthusiasts would wish it's true.

Quote
But I strongly believe that we will get there especially now that most countries are subscribing to cashless policy, and when it comes to cashless policy cryptocurrency takes the lead.
I think we're not there yet as there're lots of rough edges that need be smoothed out and at the moment, I think lot of country's policy on cashless society has little or no emphasis on cryptocurreny.
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MANY EXCHANGES on: September 19, 2018, 09:44:52 PM
Having more exchanges is good but it would have been better if they had a form of regulation so that any of them can't just do what they want all in the name of making profit. Like manipulation that goes on.

Also, having it will create some level for icos who can't afford the price for exchanges to have other options.
That's wishing for centralization, which to the best of my knowledge is not in the spirit of cryptocurrency. Emergence of more exchanges is desirable but there really isn't much to glory in the number, the quality of their services and the importance they attach to overall security, is what would make anyone of them outstanding.

At any rate, something to be aware is that with this increasing number of exchanges, there would likely be more incidence of hacking. That would simply mean, a good numbers of the exchanges won't be around for long except they mean business.

752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is driving me crazy- What should i do? on: September 16, 2018, 12:33:14 AM
Most of newbie here in crypto trading problem always the verification like they deposit first their money without knowing that they need to verify their account

Simple and yet very convenient solution from the exchange's end is to no longer allow people to deposit funds while they aren't verified yet. There are already exchanges with this policy, and I think it should be operated on a much larger scale. It makes no sense to allow people to deposit funds while they have no opportunity to ever withdraw anything without walking themselves through whatever form of verification.

It saves exchanges plenty of time time as well, because all these people with stuck funds are constantly spamming support with tickets and whatnot while it could have easily been prevented. Imagine how many people ran into these problems just because they were too hasty to realize that centralized exchanges can seize their funds at any time of the day.
That is best known as SCAMMING, else the best approach would have been to give a deadline for those unwilling to verify theirs to withdraw and close the account. The policy wasn't there at the onset, so about the time they thought to introduce it, any good company would not settle to rob its clients and that exactly what Poloniex, Bittrex (both American companies) have done hiding under the cover of verification.
753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst Exchange Experiences on: September 15, 2018, 11:37:58 PM
In the dying days of Cryptsy, I watched people convert their coins to an unpopular coin, just so they would eventually cash out their money,I was hesitant and just about the time I decided to join them, they also suspended withdrawals from that coin and that was how Cryptsy succeeded in running off with my hard earned coins.
754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex Tips - How to not lose your house and maybe even make some money on: September 14, 2018, 08:17:06 PM
Got pretty lucky and managed to profit on the quick downswing and then flipped to a long and caught this up swing. Super good day today. I think we'll see a retest of 6200 then back up for a bit, maybe 6.5 or something. We'll see how it goes, but definitely leaning long after a small retrace.
That's fishing on crocs infested water and nothing says you would always be lucky and certainly not with a 100x leverage, tight stop loss and not much fund. To forestall giving it all back to the market with just a trade gone wrong, it's best to scale down on the leverage and amount per trade. Slow and steady wins the race.
755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: September 14, 2018, 07:17:04 PM
It's easy to say that don't be greedy but it's actually very hard to control yourself from greediness. There are very few people that can control themself and avoid their loss. Most of people will get greedy by trading in crypto because it's very volatile and it can make anyone millionaire in very short time.
Greed is one of the attributes that makes us human and we all carry it along like we do our shadows. Difference comes about only by ability to manage it and some people are better able to than many when there is strict adherence to well laid down trading plans and that has not much to do with 20% or 5% take profit.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: September 14, 2018, 05:30:27 PM
No offense, but I think holding coins at this bear market doesn't any sense. Why is everyone becoming the crypto holder? From the Legendary to a newbie, most of the people suggest to hold, But why? Yes, I know holding coin may give a bug rewards in future because I was a holder too. I had 15K USD, and my all of USD becomes less than 4K USD in front of my eyes. I just keep checking my wallet and every time my feelings were the same " sucks". Are you holding to be a millionaire like some people who bought bitcoin at 5 USD or less price and sold in more than 10K USD?

I did not hold for lose my capital. Did you? Then why you still holding and losing your money. Please kindly learn to trade. By trading your coins, in this bear market, you can make a lot of money within a few days to months.

I sold my all coins in the last month when bitcoin huts 8400 USD, and then I keep continue trading. In this one month, I made more than 2200 USD Profits. Now I had all of past holding coins with extra 2200 USD Profit.

If you can't trade or if you totally newbie here, then you may keep holding. But at least I suggest learning how to trade. This is my personal opinion. You may follow it or not. Best of luck.

Thank You.
Everyone is a Hodler is only in talks because talk is indeed cheap, but at the end of the day 90% of the people chorusing HODL here are actually the first to offload their Bitcoins with the slightest upset in the market. So if you're going tto HODL or sell, it should come as a personal conviction, it's a near fact, following the crowd almost always leave a bitter taste in the mouth.

That brings us to the advantages trading holds over HODLing and having to wait till whenever. While the bear market is weighing on all crypto traders, I must say the worst hit are HODLer, because from their point of view, it's more or less a helpless situation.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why would a rational person pay 6,000 $ for Bitcoin if he can have its ... on: September 14, 2018, 03:11:13 PM
Why would a rational person pay BTC0.00016 for 1 USD if he can payment protocol and money function at its starting price of 1 satoshi?

Seriously, you need to do a little better in explaining what exactly do you mean. Rational person would buy bitcoin either: as a speculative investment, as a hedge to current monetary system, or for its utility (ie. to easily transfer money).
In comparison to a potato, Bitcoin is not even a physical tangible good that can be used for satisfying human wants or needs, and its only utility is that it functions as payment protocol and money.

Guess what? A huge percentage of your beloved fiat money in banks are actually digital. Not everything is in paper money. And also, guess what? Some countries are already cashless, meaning that all(95%+) of their day to day transactions are actually digital. Does the intangible characteristic of their funds make it worthless? I don't think so.

And also, guess what!? Your beloved fiat money isn't backed by anything.
Exactly! Whatever we call money and whatsoever value it ends up having, is hinged squarely on people's perception and acceptance, besides that, fiat money inclusive are piece of garbage. Credit and debit cards are handy examples of embrace of virtual money and the interest for digital money remains on the increase because of it's relatively low cost of production, security and storage.
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling? on: September 14, 2018, 02:47:25 PM
The lower the price the better it will actually be, because it will enable more and more people to be able to afford bitcoin and as well increase adoption into mainstream.
Might not necessarily play out that a lower Bitcoin would be better. As have been witnessed over the years  a falling leads to panic sell offs especially by those traders, whose understanding of Bitcoin is only in the unprecedented high rate it have attained. But the experienced traders have never missed any such opportunity of mopping off the excess supplies at lower prices, every time there was a sell off. That goes to say, Bitcoin have always shown good liquidity.
759  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can the Google Chrome extension cryptotab really get you $50,000 a month? on: September 14, 2018, 02:37:55 AM
That sounds so unreal and too good to be true. If you get 50k a month doing nothing and investing nothing everybody will be rich by now. Better yet start trading
Whosoever said you're doing nothing and investing nothing! First leg into this venture is the downloading of some unknown codes into your computer and by the time you've it running, just check your CPU usage and then the rising temperature of your hardware. Those are tell-tale signs that your system is being stretched and needless to say, before long you shall be needing to replace some parts, if not having to replace with a new one.

You really cannot say what those codes are doing behind the scene and you've to beware of programs that press hard for recruitment of referrals.
760  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is driving me crazy- What should i do? on: September 14, 2018, 01:44:06 AM
The error i get is that my ID is not recognised by their system
If that's the error you are getting since then, maybe the problem is either the ID type you chose or the ID itself.
I wonder if Poloniex have a list of acceptable IDs? If none, I think it would be easier for you to verify if you use your passport.

I guess patience is the key however i m running out of it, cause it feels like they re trolling me.
You need to lengthen your patience, you don't have any choice anyway if you want to get your money from their site.
It has got to be a government issued ID for it to be recognized, then it would narrow down to the quality of your image. If the image is below the standard they earmarked, just forget about the patience stuff as they would likely turn it down again and again. I had similar issue with Bittrex and your best bet if the fund matters to you, is to use a different ID, though your passport is the best choice.
