Because of transaction speed/fee? More/less coin supply? Smart contract ? lightning network ? they don't care and don't want to know
btc and all the crypto are deeply linked, if btc crash that's the end of crypto but if it continue to grow up crypto will too (but look the first)

I searched for a good store of value, i think it can be the best choice
but btc and crypto look more interesting for short time anyway
Like I said i search a store of value that can make benefits for my old days but it's not, it's a currency it can't be both

why establish it as a currency if it's price go up everyday ? why spend it ?

What's your point of vue for long-term ? In 40 years the cryptocurrencies and blockchains will be our greatest investment or will us loose all our money in a stupid bubble with all our family and friends telling they warned us

Bitcoin is a real investment but of course, every investment has its risk. If you really search an investment with no risk, that is only saving your money to a bank with less than a percent a year for a profit. If you have tried investing at bitcoin already, its better to watch it skyrocket because the crypto currency becoming as a mainstream as you said and the developement of it will also be mainstream that's why invest on it as early as possible than to let your saving sleep at your piggy bank.

I've stopped using bittrex due to their "forced verification" policy. First they haven't reduced their withdrawal fee, they are having issues with withdrawals and deposits (too many complaints) and then they have restrictions too and most of the coins are getting dumped. Any source sir for what you are claiming? I have been trading at trex a couple of months now. Although I dont encounter a problem specially in withdrawals. I usually use bittrex because of its flexible use other that any exchangers I know.

i have not checked the price of other countries for a long time now but Indian prices have always been much higher than normal. additionally some African countries started to have much higher prices recently also.

Bitcoin made a best move now.It price is moving forward now.Many of the people in this forum will had expected this value at the year end but this is happening with in 24 hours.What a powerful Bitcoin.

No one can say if we are in a bubble or not with certainty but one thing I am sure of is that growth like this is not healthy and not sustainable. Bitcoin has gone nearly 40% in two days, it can't sustain it and a painful correction will come. In order for bitcoin really to go mainstream and attract mass investors it needs some level of stability. Talking like 100-200% gains in a year not inside of 1 month. Gains like that are usually indicative of a bubble and many won't invest for fear of getting burned.

I think this is happening because more and more people are taking a risk on buying bitcoin now that its on the mainstream and popularity. Getting burned from this rise is impossible because all other country and known companies are entering crypto currency.

For the $16k, possibly it will reach to 20k form the expected $10k that was already passed. Enjoy your HODL everyone.

but even though bitcoin prices are expensive and high today does not mean bitcoin prices will not grow any higher. bitcoin is still in the stage of development and spreading it means the price will still continue to rise even several times higher than it is today. so investing in bitcoin is the right idea right now

Correct, from the scale of knowledge of people today bitcoin was really starting because more and more country are entering the blockchain technology which are very usefull for the stock market solution for a faster transaction of trades.

Yes, I do agree, if the question was, is bitcoin strongest cryptocurrency ? with no doubt I would have said yes, but here it is the strongest currency is the question, so bitcoin is not the strongest currency.

Generally, I also agree. Since bitcoin reaches its ATH again, more and more altcoins drops in terms of btc price but there are crypto currencies that are also strong in USD like ETH which also reach its ATH recently. I think in price and functionality will be the great deal not who is the strongest because they have different uses in terms of platforms they offer.
