762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: pending payment on: May 14, 2016, 02:57:55 AM
there are no unconfirmed TX sent to this address 12EwrctykFoNtABjvoGMXUaLqDthEvYE5z
i would guess the wallet you are using isn't in sync with the rest of the network.
and thats why its saying "pending payment"

maybe you mean you sent a payment from this address to another address and that payemnt hasnt confirmed yet?

please post the address you sent the payment to.

I was tempted to vote less than 700, but we are only 2.5 weeks away, i think we'll see that bump over 520 in that time but >600 is pushing it considering  the time frame, so <600 is my vote.
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2016, 02:39:08 AM
since most seem bullish for may 31st.
i've reset the poll to see just how bullish the bulls are, i left a bearish option for the few bears betting on doom and gloom
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2016, 02:33:18 AM
>460 again soon...
took longer than expected.
but i think at this point expecting an unexpected BOOM upward is the way to go.
the way i see it an aggressive climb >520 is looming, it will happen very fast, 475 one day >520 the next.
and then we all know what happens next.  Cool

tell him he can use the BTC to bribe the mexica to pay for the wall he needs them to build.
768  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: May 14, 2016, 02:16:38 AM
I 100% agree to that. Let the kids enjoy their childhood days as its not their age to start earning. Also it is not the right time for them to start earning. Its duty of parents to earn and not the kids Wink

earning money and being able to spend it on whatever you like isn't going to take away from their childhood....
I must agree kids and teens shouldnt have to worry about making money and paying bill, they should be focused on studies.
but i think learning about money is very important, and the earlier the better.

i think doing household courses and getting rewarded with a sum of money to do with as you please, is necessary, even if the parents have the means to simply pay for everything the kid needs and want, they should not. you do not want to spoil your kid...

When the kid is ready, you give him responsibilities that you pay him to do, you take care of all his "needs" and then let him pay with his wants with his own money he earned.

give him several ways to earn money, doing household chores is an obvious one, you can also "pay for his report card", and A = 20$ a B =10, a C = 5$ and a D. F = 0 or -5$ or somthing...

in essence you are paying your kid to do well in school, he learns how to save money to and prioritize what he will spend his earning on.

when the kid is older encourage him to take a summer job.

simple paying for EVERYTHING your kid needs and wants is asking for trouble, you're not doing him any favors, you're simply spoiling him.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos: “Bitcoins Belonging to Satoshi Should Be Destroyed” on: May 14, 2016, 01:45:11 AM
Theymos is known to be pro censorship when the end results suits his interest.

We all wouldn't even be here if Satoshi didn't make Bitcoins. He made the best currency, in my opinion, in the world. Doesn't he deserve a reward for doing that?
there's that, and also the fact that it would basically prove bitcoin as a failed experiment.
The network was able to "destroy" someone's ( and not just anyone's ) coins without the PK? O_o?
i think there's simply no way any significant hashing power would back this most ridiculous fork proposal, the idea is just a crazy though. when / where is this quote from anyway?

when the idea of marriage come into this, i'm just not sure i want to do it.
I'm not religious ( at all )
I view marriage as a ....... liability!
I don't WANT to do it, but she really wants to, and i love her and  assume we will spend many many happy years together
but i'm not sure thats a good enough reason to get married.
what if we get married and she changes and like becomes a bitch.
why why why would i want to setup this potential trap?

773  Other / Off-topic / Wedding talk a guys point of view. on: May 12, 2016, 02:43:13 AM
I dont want to get married
It's not so much the idea of committing to 1 person
It's more about the extravagant amount of money wasted.
My GF says shes wants a wedding of ~100 people
Some preliminary planning shows her unwillingness to cut cost here or there, she wants to full package and the fact that she doesn't have the money to pay for it dosnt seem to factor into her thinking.
She says things like "your supposed to spend 3 months salary on a wedding ring"

I feel i should run away,  should i GTFO of there?

Good morning Bitcoinland.

So we're down $10, right back where we were 4 days ago.

It's not a deep enough dip for me to buy (yet).

support looks fabulous tho
i have serious doubt there will be a second leg
look at that hourly candle we just painted
looks like the second leg down was intercepted. ( oh wait i was looking at coinbaseUSD candles )
its a bear trap.
i expect a quick and full recovery back to 460 within hours.
buy or die

Every paycheck is converted 100% to bitcoins. All of my money is in bitcoins. Putting my house on the market next month...I am trying to figure out how to get my money out of dollars after the sale as fast as possible.

how do you buy gas and food??

you live with perpaid gift cards and such?

that must be a hell of a hassle...
780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 10, 2016, 02:57:14 AM
@High amount of longs

i think longs have been very "hard headed" throughout the bear market.
and alot of the pumping up after the bear market has been due to new longs
but i think all this can really do is set back the bitcoin rocket take off by a few weeks or a couple of months.

once these longs are paid in full with a nice profit, new longs will take there place, only this time these longs won't be looking to buy the bottom and sell the guaranteed bounce for some 25-40% profit. these new longs will be controlled by poeple who expect a crazy train followed by a explosion followed by a bubble! they will see there longs at 25-40% profit and NOT take profit.

I think in the bull market we can expect to gr8ly surpass the previous ATH in active longs.
its no secret that more and more poeple are using and learning about bitcoin, its in growth.
if bitcoin is still alive and kicking 2 years from now i expect all its numbers to grow, higher margin swaps, higher liquidity, higher price!

shorting this thing now looking for some 10-20% profit on down swigs, is like a cat trying to catch the red dot.

bears will be bears.
