761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: October 16, 2018, 06:14:15 AM
In the bear market hodling is not easy unless you really believe a project can come through in the bull run, then all your waiting and anxiety around this diminishing capitalization can be vindicated when the price of what your holding exceeds your expectations. In a bear market, it is a waiting game. You either try to catch the wave and day trade the pump and dumps that happen daily and try your luck or you hold and just go about your daily business and when your coin moons you take some profits. Unfortunately for me holding this year has been a disaster but because I believe in the project I am mainly holding,. I am sticking it out and hoping by 2020 my holding will pay off.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 16, 2018, 06:11:14 AM
What are the requirements for getting XPOS? Is it only for companies or individuals (stores)? I have registered to pre-order XPOS, when can I get XPOS?

You might have to get in touch with the xpos department again for that as it seems they have a backlog of orders. I do hope you receive your xpos soon but I know it takes time for clearance in every country due to the crypto related part of the xpos machine as no one has ever done this before and they need to be cleared by customs as well. I hope when you do receive it you can post a picture of it when it is up and running in your store.  Smiley That would be great to see it here alive and working. We are all very excited about the developments in Pundix but it all takes time.
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you want to be successful in trading.. on: October 16, 2018, 06:04:56 AM
It's not so easy moving in and out of trades but I am trying to find some arbitrage opportunities if I can. I am going to look into arbitrage more and more and if I can execute a few trades like this in some decent exchanges and make 1-2% safely trading arbs then I might go down this route. Let's see if I can do this. I am going to set myself daily targets and if I can do them successfully then I will do this method, if not I will try see the sniper method you recommended.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: October 16, 2018, 06:02:11 AM
Too many people joining is one problem, a ton of bounty cheaters coming in and stealing our work and identities is another problem, scam ICOS is another problem, getting after months and months of waiting for useless tokens that never hit an exchange is another problem and not earning enough to even pay my food bill every month is another BIG problem. So yeap bounties are certainly not what they were in 2017 and I am not sure I can continue doing this full time anymore if I can no longer earn a living from it. So I am going to have to rethink my whole strategy now in this space.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOMO token - TOMOCHAIN an efficient blockchain infrastructure on: October 15, 2018, 02:03:40 PM
TomoChain — VeloxChain Partnership Announcement

TomoChain and VeloxChain announce their partnership to create a blockchain-based decentralized mobility network

https://medium.com/tomochain/tomochain-veloxchain-partnership-announcement-84c603a9c689

Recently, I read news that TOMOchain made official educational partnership on blockchain technology with Vietnam National University at Hanoi.
Best wishes for the partnership.

That's great news. I like to see all these new collaborations take place with TOMOCHAIN and am also looking forward to what happens in Japan. Now is a great time to stock up on TOMO while the price is being suppressed due to low volume and BTC volatility, before the next leg up. If you want to accumulate more TOMO I think now is the time to do so and fill your bags while it is dirt cheap and under 50 cents a pop. I will keep trying to accumulate anything before it hits one dollar. After that will just let it ride all the way up to 10 USD and see from there what my next strategic decision will be.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Country and Cryptos on: October 15, 2018, 01:54:52 PM
I live on an Island in Europe and here cryptos are slowly permeating into our society. Mainly as speculators and a few blockchain experts. There is a big blockchain event Happening also in Limassol every year for the past few years and many big Whales go there, so something is happening here, but the majority of the population here are still asleep. Some people haven't even heard of Bitcoins and Altcoins and until we see more retailers accept cryp[tos here, most peeps will only buy and hold cryptos and trade for now in my country. Like for myself I just use localbitcoins to get money into my bank for my living expenses once a month.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your problem in the bounty? on: October 15, 2018, 01:50:09 PM
Well, most of the time I barely get paid because either the ICO turns to scam, or the project never places the tokens on an exchange, so I got like 80 useless tokens in my eth wallet lol. Another really annoying thing is when people try to steal my content and identity here on Bitcointalk to steal my stakes. There is a Vietnamese gang going around doing this and it is wasting my time having to keep reporting these idiots. Another negative aspect is waiting forever to get paid, months and months. Last year I could live off of bounties alone and now I don't even earn 100 bucks every few months lol, even as a Legendary member. It's getting pathetic. I hope things change soon for us.
768  Other / Archival / Re: No more fake news on: October 15, 2018, 01:46:30 PM
There is a lot of fake news that is moving the market. Like today they said a lot of BS that Tether is collapsing so BTC pumped, but at the same time BTC was pumping, altcoins dumped, so then BTC dumped and all those peeps that sold from tether on a high all made money from the pump and dump and all the hodlers, as usual, are paying the price. The market makers will use Likes and fake news to move the market at will as they know most day traders are totally irrational and just follow the herd and will do anything to make the few whales rich once again. Time and time again the market makers will do everything to move the market in their favor and make the majority into losers.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coin Graft Speculation on: October 14, 2018, 07:10:29 AM
I like to see people enthusiastic about crypto in general and even if there is competition in this area, it is good to see more and more companies make inroads into the blockchain space to bring in more use cases for mass adoption. I welcome every true project that is working hard to build the infrastructure for the people to enter this cryptosphere far more easily and also for those in crypto to be able to spend their crypto without having to go to exchanges to change it first. I am happy that people are maing gains here and I will surely check the project out, no harm in that, right?
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2018, 07:05:52 AM
What I like about the latest announcement is that the Xphone will make noding accessible to every normal person now, not just the retailers. XPOS units alone are more limited but can you imagine a million or more users buying the Xphone over the next few years and using the phone and being a node to help the network? So having a blockchain, Xphone and XPOS, hardware and software operating systems all in-house are going to really accelerate token burning to the point that the price will be less open to manipulation as supply goes down and more organic rises in price over time as more and more gas is needed to work the transactions, more utility of the token will be driving up the demand and decreasing the supply. This is a magical formula that other blockchains like Ethereum don't have right now. I am not a financial advisor but anyone who has some cash or btc / eth to spare, do yourselves a favor and just grab at least one million NPXS if you can afford, or try to use that as a goal and put it aside and forget about it until the next bull run. Then you can see what you want to do then. Even if we have a good bull run, I will always hold an NPXS bag and will try to take profits and buy the dips on the way up so that I always replenish my stick but for now at these low levels, most of my bag is sitting and collecting airdrops. Many projects in crypto will fail, as startups fail also in the real world but Moondix is the only project that is really bringing hardware and software together on the blockchain like no other project. This is a token I can pass down to my son and grandkids in the future.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: October 14, 2018, 06:57:50 AM
I am looking at three tokens/coins that have potential right now for the future to make a difference. They are PUNDI X, which will have a whole blockchain ecosystem, the point of sale units, the xphone cell phone and even decentralizing the internet and data storage. They will slowly be burning tokens as they ar used for gas throughout all the hardware they are selling to retail outlets, governments and normal peeps like us. Anyone owning an xpos unit or an xphone will act as a node on the function X blockchain to secure the network and it will be like sharding on steroids. I like TOMOCHAIN also as it is dupped as the new NEO of Vietnam but its main office is based in Singapore. It is making inroads into Japan and Vietnam and other Asian countries but it is udner hyped and undervalued right now and it's mainnet is due to launch around NOV/DEC of this year. It will be the very first blockchain to introduce sharding, even before Zilliqa. I also like GENESIS VISION as the supply is incy at 4.4 million tokens and it will be an investment based platform. They plan to bring the Chinese in to invest, so the utility of the token might skyrocket it's value in price after the launch of its platform end of the Month.
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Do Telegram Singal groups work? on: October 14, 2018, 06:50:41 AM
I have been a member of Telegram for a while now and I noticed that there are these signal groups there which are like of like pump groups. They have a VIP GROUP then a normal unpaid group.P. I day trade a little and notice that everyday coins get pumped by these groups and as we have no new money coming into crypto it is the same money being pumped and dumped in projects. Is anyone here a member of such signal groups and do you actually make a consistent living or gains from these types of practices? I am looking for a way to consistently make 30 usd a day for survival purposes through this bear market because I can no longer do this from normal day trading or bounties.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: October 13, 2018, 07:45:40 AM
Unfortunately, the last scam I was involved in was Bidium and I was doing their signature campaign for like three months. So I wasted three months of my life and time supporting a scam project. They ran off with 3 million USD and was a campaign run by some nasty people, so now because unfortunately many dodgy projects come from Asia, I really now check to see if the Team is legit through their LinkedIn profiles. Blockchain is prevalent in Asia and is BIG, that's why you also get scammers coming from there because they know many investors with deep pockets are also from Asia investing in ICOS.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: October 13, 2018, 07:42:43 AM
Panicking doesn't help anyone and because I have suffered panic attacks a lot during this nasty bear season, I have had to resort to self-help mechanisms to be able to survive and even feel content and happy during this very very difficult time. At least now I can deal with things a lot easier by living and trying to be in the present moment, as opposed to worrying about what might transpire and happen tomorrow. By deeply breathing and being in the present, we become much more focused and resourceful in tackling the challenges that show up now at this time so it's easier to make better decisions.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Brazil on: October 13, 2018, 07:39:31 AM
I have noticed it too that Brasil is making big inroads into the Cryptocurrency markets and in Bitcoin as well. They also signed a deal with PundiX to get their Xpos around in their shops etc, so they are making big partnerships to make Bitcoin and other cryptos accessible to the locals in more than just the traditional sense so you will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin in a shop as well as going onto an Exchange. This means that even those who don't trade Bitcoin but want to buy it easily will be able to use an Xpass wallet or card and buy it from their favorite shopping outlet that stores an Xpos.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: October 12, 2018, 01:44:34 PM
I know it really sucks when ETH dies in value day by day, because then also all the tokens tied to eth usually go down in value and price as well, which is a real bummer in terms of trying to build value. I am trying to day trade a little bit but it's an uphill battle, trying to win in a bear market is like walking on hot coals at the moment and I really just want it to be over. I am sick and tired of the ETH price dying off, so now I am trying to invest in alternative blockchains because ETH will have stiff competition once sharding is enabled by TOMO and Zilliqa and other blockchains like PUNDIX FUNCTION X come out later next year.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans with your Altcoin? on: October 12, 2018, 01:41:20 PM
I would like to be in crypto for as long as I am alive so I can pass things on to my Son and eventually Grandkids as I am the very first person in my family to be in crypto. My Dad also now holds a few cryptos and soon I want to educate my Son to hold them as well. I would one day like to pay off my mortgage and then also be able to be worry free about paying my bills and have a small pension fund so I can live out my older years in some comfort. Right now the bear market has been a killer and I am always under immense stress, so am battling out with the bears, first to survive this bear market, then to be able to do something decent for myself and my family. I also want to have a marriage fund ready for when my Son wants to get married, I can marry him off with dignity, oh and I need new teeth.  Grin Grin
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOMO token - TOMOCHAIN an efficient blockchain infrastructure on: October 12, 2018, 01:37:33 PM
There is much promise in this project and I hope it will be successful in releasing its mainnet and sharding capabilities soon before the year is out. We are all too worn out by this bear market and hope to see some better things happen, especially to such promising projects like TOMOCHAIN. This is an important holding in our dying portfolio and despite the market crash today, I am still hopeful that TOMOCHAIN will do well over the coming years. I am not optimistic in general about 2018, it has been a bad year for us but we are glad we found TOMOCHAIN as a good quality project for the long term. I do hope they collaborate with PundiX, it would be great.

Definitely this is a very promising project. Today price a little down with the whole market. So this i the reason buy some exstra tokens while this is still cheap. Pundi is a good projec, but they have a different product. How they can collaborate if Pundi have payment devices and Tomo is blockchain for ICOs and tokens issues?

Pundi collaborates with other tokens and blockchains to add it to their xpos units, so it will be great if there is a partnership one day between the two. I like TOMO and today I used the testnet web wallet and it's so mega fast and seamless. Of course, we are only using TEST TOMOS, so if you use the testnet wallet don't go and send your real tomos to the testnet wallet, that's just for practice. I also bought more yesterday in the dip, so that was nice. I am growing this bag slowly but surely through day trading. I never trade through all the bag in case I get priced out. I made 88 extra Tomos over the last few days which is not huge, but it's like I got them for free in a way. form the dumpers.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin preparing us for the fourth Industrial revolution? on: October 12, 2018, 01:33:13 PM
They talk about Blockchain technology being the 4th Industrial revolution already and now you have Govts and Banks looking at adopting the technology. For example, Dubai will be the first-ever government on the blockchain and they are going to issue their own stable coin called EMCASH, which will equate to being the electronic version of the Dirham. So you see if Governments and Banks are coming in slowly, then mass adoption will follow and blockchain technology will slowly lead us to be a cashless society in many places over the next twenty years. This is what I see anyway.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the women on board? on: October 12, 2018, 01:30:34 PM
Get the Ladies in your household interested by opening them wallets and giving them a gift. Say some Bitcoin and some ETH to start with, or some other nice token or coin you want to gift them and get them educated to watch some videos. I think we need more whales out there to start being more generous and get the ladies in by giving them a gift of crypto, also try and entice them into saving a portion of their earnings every month in crypto. Ladies we like to spend if we have spare cash, but we are also good savers as well. Start thinking about more mass adoption than Lambos, then the Lambos will come after mass adoption lol.
