761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: November 02, 2017, 07:08:05 PM
Bitcoin the future of Banking is possible, but only if the governments and there specific financial body accepts it. But mostly they won't, as clearly many countries had already implemented regulations and many are coming with it, so it will be there with Banks in the future. Moreover many people are old school, and they won't rely completely on Bitcoins regarding transactions.
Banks might bring in Bitcoin in future, but completely making it the future of Banking might not be possible. But this will make banks think to increase there facilities with hassle free banking.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: November 02, 2017, 06:51:50 PM
Personally I would like to go with Bitcoin as of now, but also if I can then Gold as well. Both are a very good wealth generation instruments. Just the return rate differs from one another. Investment basically depends on the mental characteristics of the investor. Risk taker should go with Bitcoin, and people not bothered about return can go for Gold related investments.
763  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is causing 7000+ price on: November 02, 2017, 06:22:46 PM
I think it is because of the publicity we are seeing all over the internet, in every web page I open or I have some research to do for my work or personal reasons I see ads of bitcoin. Some are cloud mining ads which are to cheat newbies but some of them are ads of some real websites offering some services for bitcoin. A lot of persons may have clicked these ads and become more curios about bitcoin. I think it is this has led us to more adoption and we are seeing the biggest price of bitcoin ever until now.

Mostly the recent huge addition of investors is one of the reason basically, which ofcourse happened due to huge publicity all over the internet. Rumors are their many big players have recently entered the market, if its true that might be another reason. Many analysts are even promoting it as a good asset class, which is leading their followers to acquire BTC and thus the rise is pretty obvious as demand is getting higher.

765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold ETH or exchange it for BTC and hold BTC? on: November 01, 2017, 03:49:13 PM
So, the title is pretty much self explanatory. If you have an x-amount of ETH, would it be more wise to trade that for BTC and hold BTC or will ETH rise faster then BTC?

Example:

If you have 1000 USD worth of ETH - that's 3,5 ETH or so. 300 usd per ETH.
If you trade this for BTC, you have 1000 USD worth of BTC, so 0.15 BTC or something around 6000 usd per BTC.

Which one is more likely to make your 1000 USD go 2000 USD? Will ETH see 600 USD any time soon - or let me ask it differently -> is it more likely that BTC goes 12000 USD then 600 USD per ETH? What do you guys think and what would you do?

Never ask for investment advice and do your own research and decisions!!!!
I myself will always go with the honeybadger if I had to make a decision between Bitcoin and one of hundreds of shitcoins!
Imo Eth is flawed as f**k and will sooner or later be replaced. There are already other competitors out there who may do pretty much the same as Eth. And to be honest, that isn't much! The only good thing Eth has and why it can hold it's value is due to massive ICO frauds on top of it and being backed by several banksters and companies. That's pretty much it.

Apart from research seeking advice regarding investment is not a problem, until and unless the investor is completely or blindly relying upon the advice.
Research on your own and seek advice and then take your own decision.

Substitutes of ETH are there but as of now you can hold it, not all ICOs are frauds so it has still a support beside the support of big players. As per my view I would exchange it for BTC as well, risky but rewarding. Would leave 5-10% of ETH to be hoarded.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: November 01, 2017, 12:32:49 PM
Overall I cannot term it as earnings, as I am not in profit. But if you consider individual games then I would say I mostly earn in Sport Betting, particularly in football and cricket. Also in poker my earning are higher as of now. But as I said if I consider all the games I play, then there is no earnings rather loss.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 01, 2017, 09:52:00 AM
Roma played great yesterday and surprised me. I didn't expect a performance like this. I guess I should follow them closer this year. A lot of money can be made with them. I wish Directbet was still here, there is only untrusted sportsbooks left in the business.

Many didn't expected such a great performance by Roma and under performance from Chelsea. I was going to bet upon Chelsea, but thank god I didn't
It was good to see Roma win, enjoyed there play. And I made a bet upon ManU which was kind of obvious that they will win and they did against Benfica.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: October 31, 2017, 08:54:41 PM
Actually it is very hard that gambling ends because it is being like a life style. If it ends and I Don't hope so, we will get back to the old school gambling and giving money to a human being (there is no gambling platfomrs) and they give us our money if we win.

Absolutely true, gambling has become a part of an individual's lifestyle. Maximum plays for money income, and its increasing so it will continue, and quite a lot also plays for just entertainment. And I don't think either of them will stop completely to which will lead it to end of gambling. It can be controlled but ending or leaving it completely is tough, literally impossible.
769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: October 31, 2017, 08:31:43 PM
Recently I panicked a bit, I don't really do it but circumstances made me panic. I was thinking to square of my few BTC holdings for urgent requirements and the price started to drop and then I kind of panicked a bit. Also recently my entry to ICOs and altcoins, makes me nervous, not really panicky but I get frightened sometimes.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: October 31, 2017, 08:06:07 PM
I'm going to go out on a limb and say $50k Wink but seriously I think we are all underestimating just how far outside the general populace Bitcoin still is. Once we have wide spread adoption (think internet) I don't think 500k per bitcoin is unreasonable in years to come.

Even if there is increase in adoption, expecting that high is normally not possible. Obviously it will be great to see it, but kind of unnatural prediction.
$50000 to $100K is still a favorable predictions we have came through from various sources within the coming 3 years
771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you agree with Warren Buffett's Thoughts on Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 07:41:14 PM
Currently the rapid speed at which it is growing is indicating it as a bubble as many new users are just investing without understanding what is blockchain and what is Bitcoin and how does it works. So Buffet won't just say anything unnatural, so its kind of agreeable. But it might change as well, so I feel not totally agreeable.
772  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 30, 2017, 07:47:41 PM
Time taken for transactions was pretty high, but recently they are confirmed fast enough. Other than it I don't feel any disadvantages which should be quoted. As of now the fees seems to be higher, but when making cross border payment, I find it less expensive than usual methods. But domestic transaction fees sometimes bothers me.
773  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Reach $6248 on: October 30, 2017, 07:25:11 PM
I think the current price is back down. well i feel that bitcoin prices will rise again. in fact, I also predict that bitcoin prices will reach over $ 7000 by the end of the year. well, this may be the beginning.

The price will be fluctuating even more as the fork will be coming nearer. But probably we will be seeing Bitcoin hitting $6500 mark before the fork. But after or just before the fork we might see a dip, but by the end of this year $7000 is mostly expected and predicted by many.
774  Economy / Speculation / Re: After 6,000$ When will have 6,500 on: October 30, 2017, 07:11:45 PM
When do you expect to get 6,500$ price

Could be this month, since we've reached 6.3K today if I'm not mistaken. Just saw it somewhere in twitter earlier while I was browsing. Not sure if it did in other exchanges though. Like what others say, let the fork come and we'll see where it will lead us. But most definitely we'll be rallying to 7k before B2X for the sake of getting new coins, wouldn't you think?

Before fork I believe we will be able to see the the value of BTC reach $6500, as of now $6100 approx, so probably within first or second week of November we are most probably going to see the value hit $6500+ mark. Before this fork many people are investing, it seems people became fearless pre-fork than last time.

777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 29, 2017, 08:42:30 PM
A good performance by Leicester CIty as expected, Everton's performance was well below enough, but I expected a goal from them, but score ended 2-0.
Anyway it was nice to bet on Leicester.

Nov 4, I will be keeping an eye on two matches, Stoke City vs. Leicester City and West Ham vs. Liverpool, probably Leicester would be the winner, on the other hand West Ham and Liverpool might end up with a draw. Still not decided to bet on either, but will be doing on either one of them. Let's see
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: October 29, 2017, 08:29:19 PM
Very much disappointing result for the Real Madrid team, they're in the danger position. Especially, Zinedine Zidane is going to be the main concern for the tomorrow's Madrid. Not only Zidane, but also Cristiano Ronaldo is passing a very frustrating moment and he couldn't be able to find the net. I don't know what's going on in the European champion team. It's sure that they are not in the right track.
Zinedine Zidane is the culprit here and deserves the blame for all that's going on because he really likes to be testing players and tactics all the time even when it's really not needed. He should be playing Ronaldo as the main striker instead of Benzema .

Completely blaming Zidane for the disappointing result of the team, something more is going inside the team which is not letting the players focus completely in their game. Girano FC is not very strong and Benzema is also not a weak player, and also its 11 man team, so its really shocking that they couldn't deliver in the field.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 29, 2017, 07:27:28 PM
Congratulations to Indian Cricket team, nice performance and great comeback to snatch the ODI series. Have to say New Zealand gave their opponent a tough time. New Zealand batsman also gave the bowlers some harsh time, but their comeback was helpful. Hope to see upcoming T20 matches as exciting as the ODI matches.
