7641  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 26, 2018, 04:23:53 PM
Are you really doing something about GBYTE pending deposit, the wallet is active and seems like no maintenance at all, could you at least give statement or reply on the tickets what is actually the problem?
I am waiting for the same. There is absolutely no response at all from the cryptopia team as to if they are even doing something about this issue or not.

Bye bye my bytes ! I'd advice everyone to stay away from the scam exchange till things are sorted out.
That's mean everyone else are experiencing GBYTE Deposit Missing! what's wrong with Cryptopia, support team just leaves a message like this: "For this reason I have passed this issue on to be investigated further and resolved."

Hence, I look forward to their next response!
Most likely you would really need to wait up for the word of their technical team. Their tickets do commonly tell you to sent up atleast 1 ticket a week if you do have issues.I have seen lots of people who do have problems into their Gbytes deposits and now cryptopia didnt elaborate even further more on whats the actual problem why deposits didnt go through into exchange wallets.
7642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: The Seven Deadly Sins on: April 26, 2018, 02:44:13 PM
Gambling is part of life, but if you gamble Bitcoin means you want to take the risk it's because gambling can give you two option. Be poor or be rich. Waste your money in gambling without even thinking your needs then your done, but gambling with wise decision then your okay with it. We cannot just conclude what gamblers feel, it always depends to what we want to do. Don't gamble with shitcoins always gamble with pure one.
Gambling has never been part of life. You can live a normal life and get rich without gambling. It can make you either poor or rich. But it is going to be your choice whether to be poor or rich because you can gamble and be aware of your limits. Gambling can teach you lots of things, but once you are addicted to it, it will turn you to the dark side, and it will be hard to get out of it. And by the way, what do you mean by shitcoin and pure one?
There is never a choice for the gambler. He can wish to win but he cannot choose to win. Gambling is a luck dependent game and most of the times, the house has edge over his players so it is almost impossible to defeat luck and house at the same time. This game has destroyed happy families. One must never try it at the first place because it is a way too addictive.
I think nothing is ever really a choice even if it's only a minut detail of yourself you can never really be sure of anything. Knowing that gambling is a luck dependent game like you said, it's just going to be a chance for you to really win and there's nothing you can do about the but prepare and limit yourself.
I used to quote this that mostly humans are slaves to their desires and temptations. These are also very easy to manipulate. Mostly gamblers are weak at controlling their emotions and no one can ever understand himself well. Gambling should be voided no matter how much appealing it is because the end results are a way too horrible for having some fun or taking a risk.
Gambling is just a game and telling should be avoided isnt really proper either yet we do still need some enjoyment thats why we do tend to play gamble but the risk do only happen when you are already committing mistakes due to your emotion and the feeling of getting greedy because gambling do always talk about money and people do love money this is why people do fall into the pit of addiction which will really be the main reason why we do mess up in the end.
7643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Succumbs to DNS Attack with $ 17 million stolen on: April 25, 2018, 11:41:39 PM
You know what ? OP is writing random thing and smugle his website link there. There no 17million stolen https://etherscan.io/address/0x1d50588c0aa11959a5c28831ce3dc5f1d3120d29 here the hacker wallet. I hope you guys still be aware too.
Been searching up which wallet on where OP is tending to say here.$17 million stolen is indeed high amount but i dont think the address you given in on the ones who do make that redirection or DNS hack of mew. 215 Ether is just too small out of that DNS attack but yet its quite big money basing on current Eth price which is $641 that would be still roughly on $137k.
Hacking incidents do really happen and most of the time they do appear when theres a bullish trend or market is on greens. Wink

wow, $17 mil. is a large number if it's true. People should be more careful. It's easy to get lazy and let your guard down.

I don't blame OP for putting their website, but when I see two guys in suits on some website, offering me something, right away I can see a big sign fraud lol.

You are quoting my post without significant connection towards on what you reply. You are not getting my point and my question towards op on what address and sources where op claims about that $17M hacked tokens amounts.
Due to the lack of security of the MEW website. I find it very disturbing at times. I pity all the people that were affected by the hack. They should implement a simple verification security feature to avoid such attack. Today all the people are selling and we can see a bloodbath in CMC. Due to these hacks, the prices kept going down.
This is DNS hacked which involves on the domain itself and MEW has nothing to do with redirection.
7644  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange security? on: April 25, 2018, 11:20:20 PM
but now we are talking money on here which we shouldnt really have the same movement because once compromised all related or the same accounts will be at risk too.I have changed passwords and set 2fa to ensure maximum security.
It shouldn't really make much of a difference whether it concerns money now or not. The main thing is that with all your non money accounts, hackers can compile a complete or near complete profile of yourself.

Isn't that reason enough to use a different password for each account? With your profile they may even somehow gain access to sites they don't have your password for, which is quite worrying to be honest.

People should really think about their actions. Regardless of how innocent certain sites may be, always use a unique password, and preferably, a different email, at least a different email for each important site or service.
Well you do have a point on where even on non-money related sites or just simply social media accounts we should really be keen on making passwords or security to be harder which would make use 1 account= 1 email = 1 mobile phone =1 unique password for each account neither an exchange one or on other sites we are engage on but as part of human nature we will surely make priority on where we do know that have money. Cool

7647  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange security? on: April 25, 2018, 09:36:05 PM
Real newbie question here. Sorry but here goes.

Do folks use different passwords for each exchange they use?

I have to be honest, and say that I reuse some passwords for exchanges. But these days with all of the security concerns I've already changed a bunch, and more importantly enabled 2FA on sites that allow me to do so.

It doesn't hurt to use different passwords for each exchange that you use, it's much better from a security standpoint that if your encrypted passwords ever get leaked (even they're supposed to be all encrypted) on one site, other exchange logins of yours don't get affected.

Most important thing is to just not store more than what you can afford to lose on exchanges, it's just bad practice to store anything over a few hundred bucks on an exchange imo.
Im also admitting that i do make use of the same passwords too on any exchange accounts i do have because its easy to remember and theres no risk on forgetting it because ive been using this password ever since when i was still on gaming industry which all accounts do have similar passwords but now we are talking money on here which we shouldnt really have the same movement because once compromised all related or the same accounts will be at risk too.I have changed passwords and set 2fa to ensure maximum security.

7649  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trading bot and resellers on: April 25, 2018, 08:48:10 PM
the bot developers aren't only reselling. for example Gunbut that you mentioned here is selling his product and has lots of ads in different places including bitcointalk. but the reselling option is also available mainly because it helps "spread the word".
now the problem here is that a bot is not something that should be used by everyone! specially when they are new to trading itself. ignoring this fact a lot of them buy bots because they think it is magically going to make them profit. then failing to make any money and losing more that they even imagined they decide to sell their license. for that they exaggerate the capabilities of a bot and bring in even more newbies who think they have bought a magical tool that can make them rich.
after a short while we are left with a market filled with a lot of people trying to resell their license to make up small part of what they have lost so far.
Most of the time newbies would really think on that way which they would tend to buy trading bots who are for sale and believe that the bot would do the job and make them constant profits on daily basis which do really happen in our dreams.Wrong perceptions would really turn into a big mistake which causes for us to regret later on when we do find out the reality.Actually there are lots of free trading bots in the market which you can use but there are some which you would need to pay up.
7650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet DNS was hacked? (2018.01.09) on: April 24, 2018, 11:58:01 PM
For all users used this thread to claim the risk in using myetherwallet and the weakness in myetherwallet DNS: "You had right"
Now thanks to understand that this a dangerous ecosystem for dumbs.
If brave enough then you should have to take a look at this: https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/security/myetherwallet-protips-how-not-to-get-scammed-during-ico.html

Myetherwallet DNS hacked do happen once again which means we should really always be vigilant when it comes on logging in into this wallet. You can really easily point out if the site do have problem. As i have read up recent problems there still lots of users who do experience loss of funds yet they do still able to logged in even though the site is redirected into another phishing site.
7651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it rewarding to be a bounty hunter? on: April 24, 2018, 11:24:01 PM
is it more rewarding to be a bounty hunter or airdrop is enough? i start as a airdroper and now i want to be a bounty hunter. any suggestion?
You want to have experience for being a bounty hunter? if you started out as an airdropper and you think that's enough for you then you must stay with it.

I doubt it that you can join any bounty since you are still a newbie. Try to gain some merits by helping the community and posting with quality.

But if you can't there are some other ways for you  to join a bounty, like translating, blog making, etc.

Presuming that op is already looking for an alternative income then it turns out that airdrops doesnt really give him enough money which is the truth on this case because most of all airdropped coins are just total trash or doesnt hit up exchanges.Joining up bounty campaign is possible with newbies but only to the point on social media campaign like twitter or either translations.
I would say bounty hunting is much more worth that on joining airdrops alone by the way you can have both and theres no need to choose up.

Post it on a proper board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

You are way too outrageous instead on being calm on the situation and you do really deserve to be muted.
They wont scam you for just 0.002 amount, they are responding and i do see this would really be on internet browser problem yet i have tried on chrome it all works fine.
7653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Rightbtc exchange scam on: April 24, 2018, 10:03:53 PM
I haven't had many withdrawal / deposit issues with RightBTC within the last months, always getting it within 24 hrs. BUT, not going to lie, I did when I first started using the platform back in the end of 2017. I personally have hope for it, it's still early in days and at the end of the day (or end of the month in some peoples cases) you get your tokens. Who knows- maybe you've made a shit ton because it took so long to deposit and the price jumped... I found this recent review made by FXEmpire that seems pretty cool here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1PjICyB_Gg

Give it some time as we are in need of good exchanges with billions and billions of dollars hitting the space. Crypto is new, RightBTC is new, but the time is now! Show them constructive criticism instead of shitting on them and maybe they'll hear you out and improve! Really they just need to automate 99% of withdraw/deposits and it'd be an awesome exchange!
Different experiences and words can really be spoken out by other people since we do have different comments and views regarding to the site.If the exchange do have poor performance or giving its service then we can still freely make up our own words might not be right on other peoples ears but we do have the right to speak yet this is a forum after all.
Back on topic, this is why im quite hesitant to use up non so popular exchanges that shows on CMC because i dont even know if they are legit or not unless into those who are popular.
7654  Economy / Gambling / Re: new dice website has been released on: April 24, 2018, 09:42:09 PM
To the dev much better if you have a campaign signature regarding your gambling site in order to have much more well known and have many investors here in the forum. (Suggestion only)

Not all new gambling sites has enough funds to run signature campaign, we do not even know how much is their bankroll at the moment. OP need to be actively answering all suggestion/feedback/question as his project is new in this industry. Otherwise, just posting it here in the forum without further good communication with the community will not give a good result.
This is right not all new gambling sites or owners does really have money for more marketing which they should really put some allocation or budget on such thing yet this would increase exposure but same as you said not all do have the capability and would remain just simply introducing but atleast he would answer each one of peoples question and feedback on this one.
7655  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to make a successful project? on: April 23, 2018, 11:17:19 PM
A good guide, but I would add another good team, with people who understand in different directions: IT/Blockchain/AI/Managment and other people which can work with people!
I would definitely say that this is one of the most important things on where you do have a team which do have wide or broad-range when it comes to skills and knowledge into blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. This would really mainly signifies or do already give a preview on what would the possible project that would be created. Having more minds is much better than on you work alone.
7656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: April 23, 2018, 10:53:24 PM
A good gambler would be someone who is adapt in varying, changing paths and strategies. If you think that you have victory and wants to have more, think about it, it might cost you more than you already have. One more thing is that to be aware of what has happened,if you have profited already or not.

In my opinion a good gambler is one who knows his limits and strengths. I have seen  players playing for low profit games just because they are more experienced with it. And that limit thing is important to ensure that you do not end in debt because of this habit.

Precisely, a good gambler is know how to limit and control himself to gambling not let gambling may control you.
So at this moment, it is better to have a mindset in gambling to know your limitation if where did you going to stop.
Based on have experienced gambler player, mostly have an opportunity to win and near in the luck.
Experienced gambler doesnt really mean that they do have the opportunity to win or near in the luck. Theres no specific time and situation on where luck can choose up on whose gonna be the one to win on playing such games.Criteria isnt really needed but rather just self awareness into yourself when you do play gambling. If you know on what are your limitations and views on gambling as an entertainment then there wont be possible problems might be faced.

7658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning - Hitbtc KYC, possibly insolvent, 20 btc locked on: April 23, 2018, 09:14:53 PM
Just letting everyone know that Hitbtc should be avoided till their support improves or they pull a gox. Made an account to move a a position into btc, did $5k to try it, it worked then did 20 btc worth after not seeing any threads warning and the no kyc and no limits. After trading and trying to withdraw the btc the tx got stuck, after 24h submitted a support ticket and all i got was wanting kyc. Seems others have been told the same lately and support delaying replies and wanting more kyc than any other exchange. Might have been hacked and doing this to get back funds.
You just read up hitbtc representative above which i do see as a normal act for an exchange to do such verification.Even you do transfer into other exchange you would still face the same issue yet 20 btc isnt really a small amount which does it needs verification into a certain depositor or trader. For now you wont have any choice but to comply with KYC if you dont hide something i dont think this would be a big issue.
7659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino in Las Vegas Accepting bitcoin - Land based and huge sign infront! on: April 23, 2018, 08:46:55 PM
Hi that's really cool, but old news.
Here is the official statement from the casino operators at Jan 2014:

http://www.goldengatecasino.com/bitcoin/

Seems like it is the first physical casino to accept bitcoin, there is still no one who can confirms if they still accept bitcoin or if they let you withdraw it.

Checking out the link:

LAS VEGAS – January 21, 2014 – The D Las Vegas Casino Hotel and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino located in downtown Las Vegas will become the first casino properties to accept Bitcoin. The D and Golden Gate will begin accepting the popular digital currency beginning Wednesday, Jan. 22.

It is indeed since 2014 for Golden gate to accept bitcoin which this is a late news but well no matter which year we would able to see how bitcoin adoption is growing.

With this website you can add over 10-15 addresses to allow receive donations in multiple crypto currencies and you can control one donation, take the place of a influenceur 30 seconds, how he will do to share 10 addresses crypto without writing them down in his descriptions or twitter bio? people do whatever they want but there are tools that make life better, coinmarketcap, blockfolio and hodle.me

Which method did you use? i used mail and it worked well.

mail, here is the picture/image of what it tells me https://postimg.cc/image/j2a9px8ob/ it seems to register the account as I am unable to register with same email as it states that email is taken. But when I try to login then problem occurs.
Have the same problem encountered.Trying up to logged in but it do shows Dismiss, been using email too for logging in but i have encountered the same thing.
Little bit curious on what you are trying to show us here yet listing out multiple address can really be done on just copy pasting at all.
