8541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You know you're a Bitcoin gambler when... on: May 23, 2017, 12:57:18 PM
Grin So while I was skimming through the chat at a favorite gaming site this evening someone used a term that I don't see ANYWHERE but online, while gambling. and it inspired me to start a "You know your a Bitcoin gambler when..." thread to see what all of my peers can come up with, for a good laugh!  I will start.

You know you're a Bitcoin gambler when...
Cool   You know what it means when someone says Grrr in chat.
Lips sealed    When a total loss is called a bust!
Angry   When you have memorized the terrible Sound Of King Kong Shitting on your banana party.
Shocked   You understand what YOLO means ( "you only live once" fits, but it works even better if it's changed to         "you only LOSE once"

It doesnt really mean that if you have those knowledge you do mention that you are a bitcoin gambler because you can be called already even if you are a newbie and you just did use bitcoin on gambling it can already be considered.I do understand those terms that you mentioned since its the common things that are being mentioned mostly on chat between gamblers.
8542  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo wallet sucks. Stole $10 worth of Bitcoin until I provide all types of ID's on: May 23, 2017, 12:34:15 PM
The decentralization does not seem very decentralized haha. That is why many Bitcoin veterans try to convince people that third party service are not trustworthy and you need to use pc or hardware wallet. Well, now your ID is being kept by XAPO and you can never become anonymous
This is the risk involved when we do make use of 3rd party apps or sites which they do really have the keys of our wallet which means we cant get any amount from that place once they blocked you and you cant do anything about it.Reading the thread, there are already lots of complaints on this things which they do blocked some accounts and didnt respond on its users once they sent a ticket.
8543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: > BTC-E >>>dont send my dolor after 3 days ... dont answer to my tickets on: May 23, 2017, 11:52:15 AM

Better to lock this thread so that no one would able to make repetition of comments related to your case.As if now its already been resolved im glad that you got your refund and i do really believe about the legitimacy of BTC-e since ive been using it on the past year and it works fine for me.When it comes to this kind of cases its really better to be patient sometimes.

dear friend i still believe BTC-E SUPPORT act so weak and i never satisfied of their help also they even have not a online operator for help .

its so bad .

they must increase quality for their support system .

i think waiting for 10 days for solve a simple problem like for me is so high and is not acceptable .  Smiley

i just was in high stress and high tension in this period . i hope this never happen for another

I do understand on your part and whos the one who do like to wait for too long speaking on their withdrawals which is already a big amount. 10 days is long and you are right they should really change or focus more on their support because this is one of the most important on any site would have because if theres problem arise it can easily resolve when theres an active support.

8545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? on: May 22, 2017, 04:55:34 PM
Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? or even at 90% for a 1.1x?

Seems so easy to get a big payout. Just not quite sure if i can push the roll dice button tho.

But the easy money is so..
If you do have thousands of bitcoin or even hundreds and you have titanium balls then it would be just fine to make such bet but if those 10 bitcoins you do have is earned or came from hard work then for sure i wont do such thing because the risk of hitting the 10-20% chance losing is still there and 80% winning rate isnt guaranteed. Results either lose or win but i cant afford to click that roll button.
8546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Become trader, exchanger or both ? on: May 22, 2017, 04:02:03 PM
Very confusing thing when you are just basing on the topic title since the use of words is inappropriate or not being described so closely what he meant about exchanger maybe just a buy and seller of coins.I can say that being a trader would really be more profitable unlike on just an exchanger because you would only depend on people to rely on making exchanges into you.
8547  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: May 22, 2017, 02:43:37 PM
What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?
My prediction that the bitcoin in 5 years is worth 5,000$ . The bitcoin now is facing different obstacles, challenges and problems like if the bitcoin will accept by the government in a particular country and if the bitcoin will always be the no.1 cryptocurrency. We can help the bitcoin by sharing our knowledge to other people what is bitcoin and what bitcoin can do.
When we do speak about government acceptance then we should really not bother our minds that this thing will happen because its really impossible for government to accept bitcoin no matter what and specualting about the price i think it would really surpass $5k in upcoming years to come on bitcoin but we should really not forget the risk thats why invest for your own risk.
8548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: May 22, 2017, 11:18:58 AM
May be the beginning I look for bitcoin just for the purpose of having fun because the first time I know bitcoin the price is very low.
But if I see a price increase like now I have a goal for the future by collecting bitcoin or by way of investing because it is very promising for the future.

When the price of bitcoins was low in the past at that time it was fun to spend them as at that time it was not too hard to earn bitcoins but now with an increase in price its really hard to earn even a small portion of bitcoins and in that case its better not to spend them and save for the future as price will be much higher in future and if we have saved good number of bitcoins then it can give us even higher profits.
I agree on what you said here because going back to the past earning bitcoin is somehow easy which means we can accumulate faster on reaching out a decent amount but as of now seems very scarce and yet the difficulty on earning it is already hard too which i do regret sometimes because i have been unwise on spending my bitcoin instead of saving it for future.

8550  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 21, 2017, 04:47:43 AM
I suggest buy bitcoin is really worth it even the price is very high you can buy but I suggest invest only you can afford to lost because we dont know what happen in bitcoin after few years. But for me if I have that amount I will buy bitcoin because they have possible the price become double this year 2017 but its my prediction only. Those people bought bitcoin last 2 years ago for sure will become happy because they can earn a lot of money now because they hold their bitcoin.  Its your choice bro if you want to buy bitcoin because its your money we gave suggestion only here.
If you are really a risk taker then buying bitcoins as much as we can is really a good move if bitcoins price would really increase in the future knowing that bitcoin does really have the potential. Its worth anytime and asa user we do really strongly believe on it and you are right we should only risk the money we can afford to lose since anything isnt guaranteed at all.
8551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help! Am I still in a trade? on: May 21, 2017, 04:00:30 AM
I think the balance showed up after some time. That was causing the confusion.
But I still don't know if I am in a trade or not. I don't know how to tell.

JH

it may be because poloniex has some problems lately since they can not handle the traffic of large number of traders with their small servers. so their API (which this site is using) will be slow and might have some delays.

you should start to your trading job with yobit.net , this exchange is really cool and simple for the beginners when I started the Bitcoin trading then I started with this action because I don't understand the basic system in the trading and got confused in the Poloniex exchange .
So it will be more better that start with simple and if you get much experienced then start with big exchange like poloniex and bitrex etc .

this is a terrible advice.
first of all Yobit is a shady business that may very well run away at any moment.
secondly it is a terrible service, they lack support, they don't manage the platform well, it has a lot of bugs, the wallets are all dead apart from bitcoin and a couple of others. the orderbooks are so thin, the orders are fake, they fake pump the coins every hour and you can not do anything because the orders are fake or you will lose money, and a lot more.
even as a beginner there is no different between choosing a trading platform.
Terrible suggestion indeed and i have witnessed their bad serviced website/exchange and i do really made words to myself that i wont never comeback to use that exchange ever again since its the cause of losing soo much money when the altcoin i do transfer is not credited to its wallet and contacting their support is the most terrible thing of all. back to topic its somehow a bug or delay since orders have bbeen shown there but it shows executed..It should be complete same as others said here.
8552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2017, 03:29:41 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
Ive been telling them ever since i do engage to bitcoin and yet they didnt still able to believe me thats why i dont really bother at all and the same on your situation when they do know that price of bitcoin is already high they starting to ask again and somehow regret that they didnt believe me in the past which they can able to buy bitcoin when its was still affordable but im telling them that its not too late because price will still continue to rise up no matter what.
8553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a bubble? When will it burst? on: May 20, 2017, 01:12:09 PM
I'm assuming sometime soon we'll have a bear market for a month or two but after that we'll break new ATH records over and over again. This bull run has been amazing so something has to go wrong soon. Maybe an exchange goes down or satoshi wakes up from his cryogenic chamber and sells off his bitcoins.
i do really expect this thing to happen anytime that the bubble will pop.out and it will down soon and we should really be ready on that one but going back to $1k would really be hard to believe seeing on the current pricepoint going back to less price but going that lower again seems impossible.lets just go with the flow as of now but we do ready anytime to happen on the price.
8554  Economy / Services / Re: FIND THE REAL OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT on: May 20, 2017, 12:09:46 PM
This is hopeless and its really hard to find the true identity of its real users because seeing on the accounts given those are just dummy accounts and one might have real pictures posted but we wont know if they use other identity to fool others so this means we cant easily catch it unless if you do know their log.in ip addreses which only facebook has access on it and knowing its not simple to request it and it would takes time and money to get such informations.
8555  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Wallet transactions high and low fee. on: May 20, 2017, 11:51:49 AM
I am using coinbase but if i made transactions on other wallet or site like diractbet then its take 1 dollar something fee but if i transition with coinbase to coinbase then it takes low fee.can anyone tell me which wallet are best and it cut low fee for any wallet transition and don't take long time to confirmation.i just want to know that if there is no wallet that's I want please don't make fun with my question.
its possible that the same web wallets sending transactions could really make less fees on transfers since they do really have full control on it just like being said above in exchange of their service you dont have the access on your keys which is really an disadvantage but as long you do know the risk then its your decision but answering directly your question i cant think of another wallet do offer less fees on a fast confirmation transaction.
8556  Economy / Exchanges / Re: > BTC-E >>>dont send my dolor after 3 days ... dont answer to my tickets on: May 20, 2017, 11:33:12 AM
Looks like at this point all you can do is keep asking BTC-E for the Okpay transaction ID. It should be very easy for them to give it to you. Actually they should always put it up on their site under the history section everytime a transaction is done!

Do you still have 4 tickets opened with them? if not and you have only 1 left, Maybe you could create one more that simply say:

"Please provide me with the OKpay trs ID for my Btc-e transaction #123456789"

Just one single line. This is a real simple request, they will have to respond and quick! I hope...

thanks my friend

i have already 2 open ticket and wait for their answer

i think they know exactly my situation . no need to add Btc-e transaction . in 13 may i had just a withdraw and all things is clear . no need to extra explanation unless they didnt send any fund to my OKPAY account .

my withdraw request was 13 may and today is 20 may 2017 ... fuck btc-e ::: worst support system that i see so far .

you cant do nothing as of now but to wait for the reply of btc.e regarding on this situation since okpay did already tell some words that they havent recieve any funds yer and as you said you do trust them for how many years now.The problem here is only btc.e and why they  dont really give trs id is the main question here.
8557  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 10:36:53 AM
and wait for at least 5 years and then check the price

If You have the crystall ball, please, put some other 15 prediction here:
https://coinmarketcap.com/
for next 30 days, so we will not need to wait 5 Years to see, If Your Method is OK.
I actually laugh on this one and im sure he wont give if he had a crystal ball if ever.lol. talking about price movements we wont really know because anything can dump or pump without our notice and if all prices are predictable then maybe lots of us will be rich for sure but sadly in reality until now we do still search on the most effective way on earning profits on trading.
8558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin trading bots are profitable? on: May 20, 2017, 10:08:16 AM
First time you use it are profitable but after that only loss you'll get. Market is something that we can't control or manipulate, even you have great bots is never worth. Leave bots and use your real bots that we call brain, use your brain to make analyze about the market and try to run it by doing some " open market " ( op ). Understand the risk and deal with it just like real life. For me, bots aren't profitable but if you want to try itself I can do nothing. That's your way, good luck.

I'm don't have a good trade knowledge, but if you are trading based on charts, and looking for fluctuations over a few minutes etc, then why shouldn't a bot be better than human analysis? If you are searching for a pattern, then a bot should be better than you, in dong that job I think.
But do you think it would be possible to code a bot to recognize all the chart patterns.
For example, you may sometimes find a good entry pattern in 4 hrs chart and in some other times you may find with 30 min chart. I do not think any bot will be doing like that. Versatility of trading bot is a very big question here.

Like I said I'm new to this, so I was thinking about processing speed, and keeping emotions out of the equation. But yes maybe you are right. Although a bot has a better processing capacity than humans, we are certainly better in removing noise and filtering those patterns, than a bot would, because we just can't code an effective way of removing all that noise first, and focusing on the important stuff.
Just as expected that bots do really have their own flaws because nothing can really be perfectly coded by anyone which means there are feature cant really be available thats why its important for us to be knowledgeable even theres something that bot cant do.if we are a programmer and do know how to code as long its open source then it would be an advantage.
8559  Economy / Services / Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction on: May 19, 2017, 02:26:58 PM
Hi,

I'm willing to pay a fee to someone who can boost this transaction to confirm faster. i don't know what's wrong with it ? maybe it's blockchain problem ??

https://blockchain.info/fr/tx/53a460f122b9031c681d4e105df9d228c65a92e77d781bc04e5f6291f7f1bd98

Thanks

You pay a moderate fee, but due to the current time there are too many transactions, so you need to wait a while! Maybe in about 3 days, your transaction will be successful! I think so!
True, when i try to check the fee of that transaction its really just decent but seeing on the current state of the blockchain network it would really takes time to confirm and as others said boosting up that tx thru viabtc would do but be sure you are fast enough because theres limitation on how many tx can they accumulate on particular time.
8560  Economy / Exchanges / Re: > BTC-E >>>dont send my dolor after 3 days ... dont answer to my tickets on: May 19, 2017, 12:38:53 PM
You are still making the same mistake. Have you contacted OKPAY yet? How do you know when if they are not holding your money for investigation? All i saw in this thread is about btc-e's customer support.

I'll tell you again. If btc-e says that your funds are sent, then it is done. You should create a ticket at OKPAY now. If they say something logical then you can get back to buzz btc-e. (The most logical answer from OKPAY in this case would be "we have no sight of any money")

friend seems you didnt see my old posts in this topic . any way this is dialog between me and okpay support staff :

and this is screen shut of okpay support reply :

I really dont understand why you want defend of https://btc-e.com/ ?

A very very suspicious thing here since okpay did reply to your query and denied that they havent recieve any incoming transaction on their account. This would be hard since you wont know whos telling the truth or not but i do suspect that btc-e does have the problem on here because they can even give tx id on the amount that have been sent so that i can be able to verify.
