8381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: July 05, 2017, 01:31:55 PM
Often see some bounty post, how can I do to get free and have the potential coins, for example, in the bittalkcoin this forum on their product post, what is the request for my account? Activity quantity
Depending on what they are offering. There are signature campaigns, social media campaign airdrops translations etc. Lots of ways on earning free coins depending on what they are offering that is why you should always keep an eye on new threads specially on new coins and talking about your rank some do accept jr. members which would qualify you. Good luck
8382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 05, 2017, 10:20:27 AM
Nowdays I've got used to the fact that bitcoin transactions were just hanging in the mempool for quite a long time, but today I just realized that something has happened.
I've started a transaction of 0,05 BTC (not a huge amount) with the possible lowest (and slowest) low-prio fee, and I thought that it will take days to get confirmed (or at least one day). The fee was about 0,0034... BTC (159 sat/byte).
In an hour (or less), it was confirmed, the first 4 confirmation was done in 15 minutes. I was totally surprised. I've checked the mempool later on, it has been settled, it seems. These are the first few weeks since the beginning of May when the mempool isn't full.
I don't know what has happened, but it seems promising. (Or not, if it's in connection with the August 1st deadline, but who knows... I don't, but if anybody knows, please help me to understand what is going on behing the scenes...)

That isn't a very low fee for the transaction you did mate. Moreover it is possible there may be no much congestion when you made the transaction, hence the reason why it was quite fast but all the same 0.0034 isn't a small transaction fees.
Its isnt really a small fee and i would still consider it as an expensive then you can really expect the confirmation would be more fast compared into lowered ones plus the network isnt congested and theres no spam attack on the network which means miners can easily solve blocks. You cant really compared the situation on having a congestion into none. The hype is over and we are going back to normal but still fees is quiet high still but much better than to its all time high.

Would like to ask on what exchange you do trade? Im not too familiar about Livecoin since im not trading it. Usually i do trade on poloniex im not sure if theres livecoin on there i havent still checked yet. Seeing on the fees its really ridiculous it will really hurt you up specially when you do actively buy and sell. If you are only gaining small profits then this fees would hurt you up.

I trade on Livecoin.net ... it's not a coin, it's a trading website like Poloniex...

I don't trade on Poloniex because their fee charges are much higher...So I wonder why many people trade their Roll Eyes

I know Gdax doesn't charge you AT ALL when you fill the buy/sell orders. But they only have 3 or 4 coins you can trade, that s&cks, because imo you can make more profit weigh Alt coins because there is more up and downs.

Oh my bad! Didnt know that exchange at all thats why i dont have any idea. lol. There are lots of people who do trade there because of the volume of the coins which do really like on most traders and i agree on what you said fees are high but wont be a hesitation if you do trade in volumes too. I havent see some exchange do have lots of coins to be traded with less fees that you seek. Sorry again for being ignorant on Livecoin exchange.  Wink

What's cracking Crypto friends Grin

Recently I started to trade every day a little. I do this on Livecoin.
The thing is I don't know if I also lose on fee charges when the differance beteen buying and selling is little.

On LiveCoin you always pay 0.18% (It was 0.2) fee on trade (buy or sell).

This burns your little profits. I'm not sure but sometimes I think I lose more than I gain because of this d@mn commission.

So I was wondering:

- What's the best exchange to trade dailly?

- On what exchange do you guys trade and why?

- How to prevent the fee charges burning your profit when the difference is small between buying and selling?

Thanks. Grin

8385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is working fine! No change needed! on: July 04, 2017, 11:54:49 AM
The scaling debate is hurting bitcoin more than something else. it doesn't help at all
I feel that the whole scaling issue brings people to hold off from holding Bitcoin since the other group of people know that the price know that the price of Bitcoin is going to increase so they try to post FUD against the coin.
Once the whole scaling issue is over there will be people that want to find new things that they can FUD against Bitcoin so the price of Bitcoin will go lower.

Im already immune to those FUDs which i do treat it normally already on bitcoin ecosystem which do people would really try out to make fuds just to dump the price for them to buy a cheaper coin since they know that later on bitcoin would increase its price and can able to make profit. Scaling issue might really be hassle for some but for me its just fine actually.
8386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AICOIN ICO:: Building Wealth Thru AI & the Power of the Blockchain on: July 04, 2017, 10:46:17 AM
You can tell nowadays whether the coin is a scam or shitcoin and I've seen many of  them and many more are coming. But once in a while I just fell so great after discovering this coin. It's very long since I've seen a new legit and promising coin that will compete on the top market.

There are a lot of new, legit and promising coins in the market and this coin is one of them.  But we all know how this coin will be successful to other because they are really innovative, they are AI. This project is really great.
When you do compared on some project i can say that this coin do really have the potential ahead not just a simple project which some coins just been launched without any concrete plans on ahead of time. I will keep an eye on this project too and yes there are lots of promising altcoin in the market now which it do gives us an opportunity to earn money.
8387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Making easy profit with "Shitcoins" on: July 02, 2017, 04:45:10 PM
I feel this is more like gambling . And there is a limit to what you can make.
Its somehow like gambling since you do risk your money on buying shitcoins which you just hope for it to pump later on but chances would really be 50-50 depending on the situation of a certain coin if it would be pumped later or would be dumped forever. Ive seen some shitcoins in the past which do sleep for a long period of time and then suddenly pumped into this year which those shitcoin holders didnt expect for sure and make some profits out of it. Its not bad as long you do have the money to buy on but buy on your own risk.
8388  Economy / Speculation / Re: downtime soon ? on: July 02, 2017, 02:59:25 PM
there are many reports which states that the coins sized my GOVT agencies will be auctioned soon...
if we do some calculation i think there are aprox 1000 BTC (maybe more) which are freeze by agencies from various counties

if i remember correctly Silkroad admin alone had 300+ BTC..

now if those reports are correct
and if those BTC again come to circulation
does it mean we can expect a huge decrease in BTC rate in future ?

No it wont give such impact  even those bitcoins would be used again it would circulate around the chain again and considering the amount of 300 btc or 1000 wont able to affect the price majorly. Knowing that price would be only affected when we are talking about large sums of bitcoin already if government would decide to encash those coins then it would really be remain as normal.
8389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: July 02, 2017, 12:57:45 PM
People with interest with bitcoin can learn how to use it, this will depend on how would be the popularity of bitcoin will go on. Not only those who are computer savvy have the chance to use bitcoin because it is not complicated as what people are thinking. There is a guide for anyone to follow if they like to try it, once they read and try it, it would be very easy for them to use it, to tell you, I'm not computer savvy but I learn to use it easily.
Yes he have a point, it can be used by ordinary people like me. I am an ordinary people, I use bitcoin and it is not hard as they think. It might get complicated at dirst but there is an instruction in everything. I advice to them that don't be afraid to try something new, don't rely on the old ones because there are better ones which is bitcoin.

I think almost everyone here are ordinary citizens.  We want something to earn.  We want a good life, a financial stability, freedom that is why we are here.  As long as you have computer, electricity, and internet connection then we are set to earn.  I enjoy earning bitcoins, I wish my family got interested someday.
This is true most people here on this forum are just ordinary person butt yet there are still some whales and big earners but im sure most of us are just persons who do make work to earn income or bitcoin here on this cryptoworld. yes ordinary people could really access or use bitcoin as long they do have the capacity to make online and with the help of internet we can learn up about bitcoin.
8390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market now is not real crypto. on: July 02, 2017, 11:59:21 AM
ICOs are actually very profitable, that is why there is so much, and I do not think that will stop anytime soon.
Not all profitable and there would really be still the risk on losing money or being scammed. They wont really stop since theres only two things that do exist on the market which is a legitimate project or just a complete show off into the public just to generate money for themselves. If you are not aware on this thing then chances of losing money will surely be experienced.
8391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: On this week Ethereum down almost 30% on: July 01, 2017, 08:24:23 AM
These downfall and pump are common in cryptocurrency, Recent maintenance issue and large sale of eth made the downfall.

Once in a while such thing happens in all coins including bitcoins, maybe some big whale go frustrated or planned to bring down the price to gain profit.

Other reasons, GDAX and Coinbase poor handling server-loads

And one more silly rumor " Vitalik Buterin died in a car accident" Everything doesn't need to have a valid reasons, Just try to profit from it LOL Grin

That car incident its not really a valid reason but we can really say that it does somehow affect the price. Also to what happen on GDAX when theres a sudden dump of eth price down to 10 cents then rebound up. Im quiet frustrated on whats happening on eth ecosystem as of now and im sure those are ones of the reasons but majorly large sale of ETH and profit securing causing price decrease.
8392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My numeria experience 2.30 btc -> 0,7 btc on: July 01, 2017, 06:07:19 AM
So after reading all the negative feedback about Numerai in a previous topic you posted in also.

([ NMR ] Numeraire - What do you think about?)

You decided it was a good idea to invest 2.3 btc?  Roll Eyes

yeah call me stupid. and you are right.
i am not yet broke though.

i have a diverse portfolio Smiley
Thats good that you do have diversified portfolio and regarding on that coin i do see it on the past but i didnt decide to put up money on that one. Sad to hear for your loss but you are not the only one whos experiencing loss and lots of traders do have this kind of situation. I cant say that you should cut losses or holding even more. If you are a type of a person which do love to risk until the last price movements then better to hold. If you feel its the best time to cut loses then do it,it would really depend on you.
8393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin and alts on: June 30, 2017, 03:18:48 PM

BITCOIN AND ALTS NOW , EXACT MARKET SITUATION Smiley
As usual, they do follow their mother and by the way its a good illustration/example on the current market and yes it do happen on that way. Alts are popping out in nowhere just to follow the path of bitcoins success until to these years and speaking with prices its really very related and they do really affect each others price when bitcoin price do pump then alts will pump or dump, just in a random way. BTW, those baby ducks are cute Cool
8394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 500$ investments in currencies less than 0,30$ on: June 30, 2017, 03:02:17 AM
Thank you for your answer.
Can you tell me where can I find low cap coins ? Where buy this coins ?
And do you have a Portfolio of low caps ? Smiley

Thank you.

Low cap as in low market cap. Smiley

Anything below 1 million has great potential. Cheesy

Always research the project, don't go throwing your money around at everything you find.

http://coincap.io/
https://coinmarketcap.com/

When you buy coins for hold, did you store the coins on Bittrex or Poloniex ? Or on a private Wallet ?
I wondering that because if I buy 10 differents coins I need to download the 10 wallets ?

There are some hardware wallets that store more then one coin.  So put 4 coins there. 3 coins leave on Poloniex and 3 leave on Bittrex.

Yes there are hardware wallets that you can store up 3-5 coins at the same time which means you can hold off without minding on how you gonna store those coins. If you are somehow active on trading coins then storing it on hardware might quiet hassle instead better store some small amounts on exchange wallets and remember not to store up large amounts since the risk on losing it is always there. If you are longing for HODL then hardware wallet is the best choice.
8395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 29, 2017, 08:18:06 AM
i salute the high school dropout because he/she spent the with in how to be a millionaire at the yung age.
education is important if guy don't like to go in the school use the money from btc. have school offering the home study.
to get an degree.

May I know how much time you spend in bitcoin. Maximum two hours a day .I think not two hours a day spoils your education. Many  students doing part time job for their studies.Like that ,If you spend two hours a days is quite enough for you became millionaire in future. For that you have save your bitcoin for longer.
There are already lots of people or even students do make bitcoin as a side income not only on striving to become rich but to sustain their needs on their education which is really a good thing to know on how bitcoin was useful to people specially on education and even on employees. For that student who become millionaire hes just lucky enough to jump on boat on earliest time.
8396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone Made 100X Profit from Altcoin Investment on: June 29, 2017, 03:46:02 AM
Don't Brag and Bitches... Cheesy

Personally myself, Never made more than 10% 10X on any altcoin investment, Did you made 100X anytime?
I have only made 2-3x on altcoin trading which isnt too good but isnt too bad either. How do i wish to hit up 100x on altcoin trading thats why as a trader i do keep searching for potential coins that would really give me this kind of profits. I dont still lose hope and would fine some. Grin
8397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: June 29, 2017, 03:15:58 AM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?
Yes, it is possible to know if you have a contact person here or in the other coins that will going to pum pump. But I think only few members knows about this things.
No one knows for sure when the pump took place, maybe just the developers and pump community who know it. But if you always pay attention to the price movement on the exchange maybe you will have experience when the price will dump and when the price will be pumped if you keep watching it I'm sure it can help you in the world of trading.
Always watching prices is really a great thing on making trading set-ups because you can eventually make ways or alerts if there would be a pump or a dump and as you said no one really knows that a certain coin will pump or not and hearing from those community who do say such thing isnt guaranteed anytime that they do happen which means theres always comes a risk on this kind of informations.
8398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping homeless people with Bitcoin paper wallets on: June 29, 2017, 02:22:37 AM
ok so if a whale hands out Bitcoin paper wallets to homeless people
would they know how to redeem and use the money or hold the bitcoin?
would they learn it?
maybe some of them would become bitcoiners or even programmers and valuable to the ecosystem

who wants to join me doing this

we need people in the usa, where there are the most homeless people on the planet, who are whales and want to help the cause handing out some paper wallets on a daily basis

Its pretty nice that you have this kind of concern for homeless people but we should really be realistic here.We might mold or create programmers or whatsoever on those people but giving them bitcoin paper wallet would be somehow useless since they dont have much idea on what would they do on those papers since they do have lack of knowledge on it and also how they gonna engage if they dont have the money to sustain? Being practical and avoiding too much hassled better simply give them local fiat since we can spread bitcoin awareness on more simplier things.
8399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: June 28, 2017, 09:34:44 AM
Often see some bounty post, how can I do to get free and have the potential coins, for example, in the bittalkcoin this forum on their product post, what is the request for my account? Activity quantity
There are lots of way which you can get free coin from any new altcoin do launch in the market and as been said above you can actually see it on announcement or bounty threads, sometimes they do launch signature campaigns, social media campaign, translations, airdrops etc. which you would really need to be active on searching for them since anytime they will announce it.
8400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: June 28, 2017, 09:10:36 AM
Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?
Feeling of worry cant really be removed into a person since we dont really like to see our money are gradually going on negative side and we do really panic specially when we are still noobs and doesnt have too much idea on doing tradings we will surely cut loses on earlier periods which causes for us to lose money and i did this thing back in the past when im in panic mode.
