I think the best way to control your greed is to never start gamble or if you can't control yourself to start to gamble just give yourself a limit. I feel my bankroll management and savings all are highly unstable. Can go up or down by storing money in bitcoin to gamble. Some form of betting like poker requires good bankroll management and with value changing everyday, I don't see bitcoin as a good use for poker players and sportsbettors.

I think that usually a guy which play games for a long time, risk to became a gambler addicted. Which method you use for stop plaiyng when you understand that you are near to became addicted?
For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.
It is good way forget the lose, turn off your PC and go out side and set in the fresh air and change your mind in other thinking.
