Looks like a legitimate piece of news. But I will be honest, I do not think this made any big changes to price. I think we see less and less now the impact of these types of partnerships have on blockchain token price. Good news for the project does not these days equate to good news for prices. We saw that with so many coins, Ripple being the most, and now no different for Stellar. I think after too many projects abused this, it was very difficult. I am talking about IOTA in case anyone was wondering ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Thanks so much for pointing this out, Leea!! And you are 100% correct on the Sharia compliant aspect. Rest assured that all is being taken care to make it clear to the community. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Also, feel free to join the Telegram Group if you haven't already and hop into the discussion! You're welcome! I certainly think that the Sharia aspect is overlooked - everyone can talk about potential profits but we are talking about a forward looking product here. And this is not simply because there are 2 billion Muslims, and not because Islam is the fastest growing religion, but also that even the traditional industries are recognizing how fairer Sharia laws is when it comes to finance and business. I am not even a Muslim and I only go for Sharia products in my country. And yes to Telegram of course I am there, watching the conversations! Looks like only 5% bonus left on the pre-sale, tokens are selling quickly!

Volumes have been very very low for two days and future markets are also very much in line with the bearish trends of live markets. This means, for the time being,,, there is very very little appetite from anyone, whether full time traders, day traders or speculators to do anything. I am not very certain why, but it could simply be that people are tired from the high energy pursuits of markets and are just resting and waiting for June to start. Psychology, still important, even in trading crypto.

Here are a few of things that make Global REIT stand out from the crowd. GlobalREIT is on Telegram. Feel free to join the community and stay updated with all the things happening. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Interesting points to share, thank you. I would like to point out a correction to the image however,,, dividens should be dividends. Small typo but some people hate to see this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) To me, yes, these are all strengths, but other projects also have dividends - I hope Global REIT can properly show how these income can be guaranteed (stability is fine but guarantees are difficult to show). I will say that Global REIT should also really really emphasize one extra strength that other real estate projects do not have, which is Sharia compliant REIT. I know a lot of people will be wondering what this means, but let me make it simple. Sharia compliant means that it is following Muslim financial principles. This is not about religion at all but about lower risk and more equal spread of risk, and being fair and transparent. This is different from traditional REIT where interest is unsustainable, risks are higher, and risk is located mainly with investors, and decisions are not transparent. Hope the project can give more details about this so everyone can really see why it is so special.

It is the same conclusion whichever time you choose to look at cryptocurrency markets,,,
1, Bitcoin determines everything. If Bitcoin rises, so does market cap since every altcoin, no exceptions, follows Bitcoin trend over medium and long term. 2, crypto is volatile. You can see 43 billion losses in 3 days and you will see 43 billion gains in 3 days. Even you should expect more, crypto is extremely volatile. Market gains should also not affect you, tokens are created and listed and this pumps market value for 0 reason. 3, tokens always struggle no matter what, they need a long period of adjustment because they are only being traded, not used.

With the current ETH/BTC ratio of 0.075, bitcoin would have to rise to $20,000 for ETH to reach $1500. That's possible by the end of this year, why not. If you ask about ETH reaching $1500 on its own (without the help of BTC), I would say it's very much unrealistic. Especially if we take into account the announced hard fork and their move to PoS, which I'm very skeptical about.
At least we should recognize this fact: that for ETH to be successful,,, or for any other alt for that matter,,, Bitcoin has to be successful. And we all know that if Bitcoin can reach its old ATH, so will all the other alts, firstly followed by ETH. Cannot say yet if this will happen by end of the year, a lot depends on how long crypto (Bitcoin) must stay in this current range first. But I agree with you. Let us stick to realistic expectations for now.

Did not understand where the project revenues will come from for the payment of stable dividends? Maybe I just did not see it?
Hey Karolina! Yes, it can be quite difficult to read through all the material, but actually this question has been answered several times and in several sources. But for simplicity, it helps to understand the business of real estate. Global REIT will first acquire assets in the UAE (in Middle East), beginning with the first asset valued at $75 million. After 5 years, target portfolio is $10 billion. I put the summary from the whitepaper below,,, As token holder, you get 2 sources of revenue: 1. Global REIT Fund Manager Token (GREM) and - you get a share of fund management returns 2. Global REIT Asset Token (GRET) - returns from assets (the property/real estate), usually this is rental or lease payments from tenants of property GREM token income is 2% of the asset under management value, that reduces gradually until down to 1.25% from then on. The 1st asset (worth $75 m) has an 8% annual yield locked in for 5 years and this is the confirmed revenue,,, this means GRET token income is the stable 8% return. If you scroll up, you see some images from other posts.

Stop asking questions no one can answer. Or stop asking the questions you will get 10 answers to. Just accept the market as it is, do your own research and make your own decisions. If you are deciding based on answers from strangers online, you might as well just go and gamble at a casino.
Also, if the market keeps going green should you be asking if it should slowly turn red again?

I truly believe Ethereum is going to be first altcoin reach back its former all time high. There are other good coins but smart contracts are lot more valuable and price will move.
Smart contracts are valuable yes, but not until the true potential of utility tokens are used. Up until now, it is sad to see smart contracts only used to lock and disburse tokens for trading, only for games for people to collect and speculate on special collectibles. So few people are using the true functionality of all the ICO projects supposed to use smart contracts. And if they did, they have to compete with online games eating up all the network bandwidth. ETH will hit old ATH, but it will need a lot of time to recover.

Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?
Even if some people want that ETH to overcome the bitcoin prices it will never happen because of the availability of bitcoin is limited and the availability of ethereum is unlimited so the price of one ethereum can never exceeds the one bitcoin's price. And one more reason that if some other coin exceed the price of bitcoin then people will lose the trust on the crypto currencies and it maybe the end of crypto currencies. I never say never in life, and definitely never say never in crypto. I am a full time Bitcoin supporter, and maybe part time for a few altcoins, and basically no-time for ETH at all. I can admire ETH to be where it is at but I cannot forget certain things about how it got there and that it constantly needs one man to decide things for it. What happens if that man dies or joins Google? ETH will not be the same again. But still the future is hard to predict. Maybe it will overcome BTC one day, we cannot say. I do not believe this will happen, but I am always proven wrong.

Mostly ICOs are scams and its hard to identify which is genuine..but We cannot avoid the scam and failed ICO..Make a research first about the project and Try to check the ICO's team or the developer.. we should aware if joining ICOs..Choose wisely
I think it is time we all stopped using general numbers pulled out of thin air like this. Personally, I think only a few ICOs are true scams where they only set out to steal money and run. But I admit many other ICOs are only interested in taking money, you can see from so many projects that fail to reach soft cap or hard cap and then return money. Why would they do that if they really had an idea and were serious? If I had an idea and only got 10 dollars I would still run it. I respect those that even continued when no money was raised. These were the real deals.

Nice to remind myself that 2 months ago, we could get ETH for below $400. Anyone crying now when the price is still moving around $600 has surely forgot that it is a nice 50% profit still, even if you did not manage to get 100% profit a few weeks back when it was above $800.
I hold a little, not for long term but for the belief that it can be $1k. And of course for sending all those tokens and using apps that I am sure will come by soon.

It is already happening actually. The statistics show a lot of funds still being raised this year than in previous years, but you can see that most of those sold out ones or successful ones all sell out in the bonus phase. Those ICOs that pass the pre-sale or bonus stage fail to attract more investors in the so-called "general public sale".
I think pre-sale should be extremely limited, it should be with proper KYC investors, so people also know who they are who dump. It is their right to dump of course, but ICOs should look for long term partners. Pre-sale should also have lock-in token period. Get big discount for sure, but you must hold for min period.

Thank you for the sharing your thoughts Leea! Another value of the Global REIT is that token holders will also earn dividends :-) Here's the screenshot from p.13 of the Whitepaper which explains more info: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FUBx7lD1.jpg&t=663&c=g3PZEYxwWpboLA) You are very welcome, cryptojenny! Yes, I was aware of this added value, although it is this particular aspect that probably raised the original question of whether it is a security or not even if I am convinced it is not. This was one of the reasons I signed up for more information, almost every project I join I want to see either utility or value that I immediately have, not simply a promise of holding. Looks like the token sale is going well too. Still 15% bonus but not much left of that.

Explain to me please, some people doubt the project arguing that the project will have problems with the SEC. What problems can arise and will they ever exist?
There will always be a lot of doubters when it comes to an Ethereum-based token, simply because of the rumored news that the SEC recently held a closed-door discussions on whether to recognize Ethereum and all its tokens as securities. This also is partially affecting ETH price. But the arguments for these have been noted as extremely thin - the network has become so decentralized (some argue even more so than Bitcoin) that SEC's arguments are going to be very difficult to prove. In any case, as the project mentions, the tokens for Global REIT are utility tokens, so I will be one of those who look forward to using my tokens when the time comes - not just for trading!

I must be one of the really lucky few with fresh capital in these last 2 days, just as the market is experiencing some really significant crashes. I mean, who would have thought ETH would lose $100+ in a day after already losing $100+ a few days ago?
MY altcoins are always the same, so I use this opportunity to gather in the following order: Litecoin, Monero, Waves. If market dips again, I add in the opposite order.

Hello everyone! This is the very first signature campaign I have joined for an altcoin, all my life in this forum I only did Bitcoin related ones, so I found you guys AmaZix and decided to try my hand and see where this goes! There are so many to choose from though but this one really caught my interest, possibly going to catch some of my own ETH too! See you all around.

Hello OP, I would like to confirm to join the FIFA World Cup pool and I will spend some time to understand the rules at the site you provided. It does not look too complicated.
For Premier League, is it possible to confirm if I can participate later, maybe after World Cup? I want to join it (the small $25 one and maybe the big one too) but maybe not to pay so soon. It depends on what happens after the world Cup. I wanted to join earlier but it is maybe better to start fresh so this is good. Thank you.

It does not have to be internet free, but that is the maximum precaution. The thing is, many users may scan their computers for malware and viruses, but not everything gets caught, and not everything is updated. As users above post, just be careful you only access MEW through legit channels.
Do NOT ever Google and click links from search engines. Just type it out the first time properly, and when verified, click it to your bookmarks so you force yourself to visit the same bookmark every time.
