781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: February 10, 2019, 05:12:31 AM
I stop trading for a while due to abnormal movement of cryptocurrencies. I will wait the market to turn back to normal for me to continue trading. I know that I will only faced many losses if I still continuing trading.
782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: February 09, 2019, 08:51:40 AM
While checking around, I came across some write-up of how long this bear market have been and we also get to know that this bear market is the longest.

I found out this: https://www.ccn.com/the-crypto-bear-market-wont-last/amp recently.

So what's your own opinion and say about how soon will the bear market be over?
By analyzing and understanding the chart carefully, you can conlude that the bear market is now finished last year.  There are now big progress in the cryptocurrency market because there are now pumps that keep happening.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🔴 🔴 It's happening! It's happening! It's happening! ⭕ ⭕ on: February 09, 2019, 08:18:05 AM
Most of us notices the increase of the bitcoin today!  It seems that all of us are happy to see it. This is now the start of the bull market. I think that the price of the bitcoin will become valuable again and we will see the progress in this following days.
784  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if the bull run refuses to come again? on: February 09, 2019, 07:16:16 AM
ICOs are becoming so bad publicity for the crypto scene that no one wants to join anymore If you ask me. Not to mention that people who are joining are coming for the wrong reasons, they want the quick profit without even studying the technology and that doesn't help us in the long term.
I'm one of the investors who quitted in investing in ICOs. The ICO has now bad reputation from the cryptocurrency community. For those who investors who still have plan on investing in icos,  you should ne really careful due to the risks that you are going to face.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency One Big Ponzi Scheme? on: February 09, 2019, 06:33:14 AM
There is a misunderstanding that is really happening in our society nowadays. Because of the false information that keep spreading, there are people who thinks that cryptocurrencies is a big ponzi scheme. They do not understand how volatile is it and it is the reason why they keep saying it is a scam.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wanted to know if there is a hodler right here? on: February 09, 2019, 06:02:02 AM
Crypto keeps on the bearish pattern no matter what, if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler! Being a hodler means you supporting the coin, didn't you?
I continuing to hold my bitcoins not just people told, I continuing to hold it because I'm aware to advantages and benefits that I can get from it. I know that the bitcoin will overcome this bear market and will come back to its high price.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: February 06, 2019, 02:21:53 PM
I do not think that your choices are good so my advise for you is you should invest your money in trusted altcoins like XRP, EOS, Litecoin, Stellar and Ethereum. Do not buy altcoins that are not popular because there are possibilities that you can lose your investment.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 05, 2019, 03:05:05 PM
Happy activities for all of you, I want to ask questions and also discuss about investors this year.
1. What is the main reason for investors to leave the cryptocurrency business to date?
2. Will there be a repeat of the trust, making investors interested again?
Let's discuss it. Thank you for your attention and time.
Investors in 2019 should be more skillful for them to have returns from their investments. We should improve our skills in order to become more productive than before. We experienced how hard to earn profit last year so we should be more skillful for us to not experienced loss again.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: February 03, 2019, 01:05:25 PM
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both valuable and worth it to purchase. The most advisable investment that you should do is dividing your funds in to two because Ethereum and Bitcoin has still room for growth and improvement that you can ensure that you can get high returns.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: February 03, 2019, 11:47:10 AM
some lessons like you mentioned can I get from the exchange and lots of experience that I can get from the exchange, my most important experience is the price of cryptocurrency can never be predicted accurately and requires very high patience to be able to benefit .
It is true that prices cannot be predicted accurately. bulshit with those who give predictions without a basis and also only people who want to get advice
We should not believe to the predictions in the internet because 90% of it are not reliable. The price of cryptocurrencies are really unpredictable and it is the risks that we facing.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: February 03, 2019, 09:07:09 AM
Cryptocurrency or crypto currency is increasingly recognized by many in the world. You know, block chain technology is growing day by day, not a few new crypto are emerging.

Question:
1. What do you think of new coins / tokens that keep appearing
2. What is the positive impact of this new coin on Bicoin
3. What are the benefits for traders with the emergence of these new coins?
Not all of new cryptocurrencies are valuable so we should only pick some new cryptocurrencies when making investment. Most of the new altcoins nowadays are not promising and worthless. We will only lose money by investing in that altcoins.
Most of the new coins right now are worthless to buy because of it doesn't have potential in the market. It is better if we will but coins that are popular and have strong support from the cryptocurrency community for us to ensure that we can have high returns.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: February 03, 2019, 08:14:35 AM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,
I also experienced losses last year because of the crashed of the market. I have read news that the bear market is finally over but it seems that the bull market will not easily occur because there is still manipulation that are happening in the market.
793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes need to avoid in day trading on: February 03, 2019, 07:22:30 AM
We need to avoid day trading itself. Yes for crypto markets and its volatility, day trading is not at all suitable for any trader.
Unlike most other markets, crypto market is having a specialized way of easy money making method which must be long-term holding. When we are having easiest and assured way of money making with the cryptos then why should risk in day trading.

There will be no compulsion to close the open position within a day in crypto market then why should we consider about day trading whereas position based trading or long-term holding based  trading is fetching almost 99% times getting us profits.

The only requirement for position based trading is, we must trade only highly reputed crypto coins. For day trading, you may choose any coin and at the same there will be guarantee for making profits.
Not all of traders are fit in day trading so if you think that you do not have enough skill for it, then you should now stay away from it for you to not experience loss. The volatility of the cryptocurrencies are so risky to face so it is better if we will do long term investment than day trading.
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding coins on: February 03, 2019, 05:29:55 AM
Coins should always be considered in a safe storage, there are lot of wallets and platform that could be used to hold coins, both of this  has good side and bad. Where will you choose to store or hold your coins, in a close source wallet (exchanges) or an open source wallet like electrum and Hodler wallet?
Our first priority when we are holding our coins is the safety and security of it. Hackers can stole our coins if we do not store our cryptos in a safe storage. I always prefer to store my coins in offline wallets for me to ensure that I am the only one who has access to my wallet.
795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: February 02, 2019, 02:10:21 PM
I was thinking this morning and trying to used my trading experienced in analyzing my past performance in trading but I came to conclusions that most times that I lose,  my predictions of market directions is right just that something unexpected happened along the way.
Because of this unexpected reactions in market cycles that is why we should learn on how to manage risk.  Since there are many indicators and we can not used all of them at the same time I believe that there is no way we would be successful in trading except we learned how to manage risk and reduce our risk as minimum as possible.
2019, is here,  are we going to continue in losing trade?  I have decided to love my capital more than profits this year and I am not going to take much risky trade this year.

There is no magic in trading, you must always remember that if you experience to be lose in trading, it is understood you made a wrong move when you do trade in the market. In short, its traders fault. Its not true that if you are loosing in trading its not your fault, that's ridiculous actually. If you are you know the right things in doing trade in the actual platform for sure you won't encounter lose.
Everything is possible in cryptocurrency trading, we can either win or lose. If we will invest in trading, we should only put the money that we can afford to lose for us to have not have fear of losing our money. There are many risks in trading and we can only surpass it if we have enough information about what it is.
796  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: February 02, 2019, 01:18:32 PM
Hacked Customer Data From World Leading Cryptocurrency Exchanges For Sale On The Dark Web?

https://www.ccn.com/hacked-customer-data-from-world-leading-cryptocurrency-exchanges-for-sale-on-the-dark-web/

"On a darknet market called “Dread,” a vendor going by “ExploitDOT” is attempting to sell user data from the know-your-customer (KYC) data top cryptocurrency exchanges ask for, required by most jurisdictions.

According to data shared with CCN, the hacker has an ad that has been online since July 2018, in which he claims to have hacked documents used in KYC checks – including identity cards and drivers’ licenses – from users of top exchanges like Bittrex, Poloniex, Bitfinex, and Binance.

The data is seemingly for sale for $10 per 100 documents or more, with discounts applying for those who buy in bulk, all the way up to $1 per 1,000 for an order of over 25,000. CCN was able to independently verify the ad on the dark web, which is still online. No links to it will be added to avoid promoting the service."

A few days ago, this also made news :

https://www.techspot.com/news/78317-leaked-database-exposes-87gb-emails-passwords.html
We can do something for our identity to not be stolen by hackers. KYC is now part of rules and regulation, we can avoid our identity to be stolen if we will not participate in ICO and also if we will not upload our identity card in some exchanges.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: February 02, 2019, 11:41:48 AM
What do you use cryptocurrencies most often for? If you thought about what cryptocurrency you use the most and what your favorite/most often use case is for it, what would it be? Obviously if it's private and you don't wish to share that's fine, I'm just curious to see what's being used and where people go most often for purchases, maybe pick up some new websites to visit for stuff I haven't found yet, or just share some places with other users who don't know many places to spend at.

What would the websites be, or physical places you visit for your purchases? Anybody offer discounts for cryptocurrencies or anything special? Like, what is the drive that gets you to get and use cryptocurrency for a purchase over a credit card. Special things you can only buy with crypto's or special discounts or anything, or just for the ease of transferring funds mostly?

----Edit---- Adding an edit here, thank you everyone thats posting.
***To all those that mentioned they make purchases for various things, would you care to share actual websites you visit? Sharing the names/links. The purpose of my post was to get people discussing about where they transact and to make a recommendation of where they do like to visit so that other users can see new places where they can transact where they've never known they could before. Which, if you look in this thread you can see there are quite a few people posting in just this thread alone  that don't really know anywhere at all that they can go to transact with their cryptocurrency's.  So to all who mentioned what they like to make purchases on, could you make direct recommendations of what those sites are that you like to visit?****

That was the purpose here, I gave one of my recommendations with Gyft  website.  So all of us to know where we can transact with our cryptocurrency's, let's help out those in this thread and that may read this thread find places where they can actually make purchases and utilize their cryptocurrency.

Due to the current crashed of the cryptocurrency market, I realized that I should stop paying my bills through the use of bitcoin because I experiencing losses. I bought my bitcoins at a high price and I do not want it to use in my daily transactions.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: February 02, 2019, 09:32:56 AM
There are really people who can control the market because of their great influence and power. The people who can control the market are called whales because they have a lot of money that can really affect the flow of the cryptocurrency market.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: February 01, 2019, 03:34:32 PM
As mentioned crypto payments were getting integrated with large scale businesses. This starts from even small shops located on rural part of the nation. Right now these stores weren't generating big revenue through bitcoin acceptance. Slowly this will change with more and more revenue being generated through crypto services.
You should not be worried at all because there are improvements that are happening in the cryptocurrency market even it is still down.  We can expect that by the end of the year, the users of the cryptocurrencies will increase by 100% and more.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 29, 2019, 05:30:00 PM
I will stick to holding bitcoins, still have few worthless alts that I'm hoping to sell at some point.
Obviously will gather more btc as the price is attractive. For a moment I was thinking on buying in to grin as its shows some serious hype for the moment. Changed my mind though as following hype movements isn't in my nature.
Probably will regret later but it's not about the money as much as about adoption.
Maybe we as a community should focus exactly on that? The adoption rate.
Spreading good and valuable information through the merchants environment around us, should help a little.

I also keep buying bitcoins for me to increase the bitcoins that I have. I do not have care to altcoins because I experienced to lose big amount of money due to buying altcoins. It is really better if we will just make investment with bitcoins because it has potential and it is really worth it to hold.
