781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Coins-E - they are stealing coins from the users on: December 04, 2013, 02:34:39 PM
Has anyone gotten their coins back?

Not me.

Seems its phase 2 of their plan. Restart saying they are under 'new management'. Work fine for a few days, take the coins again and run. Rinse and repeat.

Isn't it suspicious that a exchange trading alts has avoided this board?
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 04, 2013, 02:17:54 PM
Yes, it's once in lifetime epic event. And I am happy I was participated. Such stories live in generations.

Are you saying that more or less this was/is a bubble and its more likely to go to $100 than $10000?

Whats wrong with tulips? I like them - have several in my front garden.

786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Datacoin] DTC just hit Coins-E! on: December 02, 2013, 07:52:51 PM
Just checked Coins-E DTC trade  - extremely fast, clear, funds managing correctly. Kind of happiness after other exchanges lags Smiley

Coins-E stole/lost a lot of our coins. Before trying to pump your coin at least make others aware of the potential pitfalls of trading there.
787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 02, 2013, 01:24:31 PM
Bitcoin price expected to go down till 480$ and then go up to an all time high
expected ? based on what ?

His unbeatable tea leaves.

Keep in mind results may vary depending on the brand and amount of time spent in boiling.

Lol - I got a email from them advertising a new, improved coins-e. I mailed back saying unless everybody is refunded they would continue being a scam site.

Lets see, I had written off any chance of getting the PXCs back.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QRK is skyrocketing, now #9 on coinmarketcap!!! on: November 27, 2013, 08:43:40 PM
I forgot I had quarks in my wallet. Managed to sync, send and dump most.

If it keeps fluctuating it will be a good cash cow, though  Smiley

You can donate some to me if you don't want them!!!   Wink

...check sig for address...

I want them, even more coz they give me nice, shiny BTCs Smiley
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTER.com SUPPORT on: November 27, 2013, 07:55:46 PM
Its a crappy site and I lost 0.2 BTC worth of alts there. But their support has always been very fast and helpful.

They are probably sleeping now - its early morning in China.

796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Critique My Holdings on: November 27, 2013, 11:26:46 AM
I won't advise you what to buy; but I can say what I am doing.

Yesterday I sold all XPMs, most FTCs and would have sold LTC if I had any left (sold earlier). I plan to get back in again after price drop. I already had quite a bit of WDC and getting more whenever I am getting good prices (anything around 0.0001 is good, below that is golden).

I haven't looked into the other coins on your list. Somebody mentioned quark - I do have mined quarks in my wallet from ages back. Maybe now I will sync and sell. MEC, CGB and ANC seem to get attention so may be good, but I haven't followed those markets.

Protoshares may be a good buy. I hold quite a few from mining, but the price may already be too high if you are a new investor. I am not selling now, though.

Good luck on your investments Smiley

Quite clever, but everybody can calculate.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW SITE on: November 26, 2013, 02:28:29 PM
The new style looks nice, but it still sluggish and a pain to use. It also keeps logging me out randomly and doesn't ask for 2FA code while logging in.

Instead of trying to be all fancy, please make it easy to use.
799  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Great Crash on: November 26, 2013, 02:21:23 PM
Its scary how similar it looks, including the first sell off/ bear trap.

So did this one, but it didn't crash from $125 to single digits.

I guess expenontial rise to new ATH will always look similar to this.

indeed.

Yeah, so IMO its only worthwhile if you day trade and take advantage of the swings when the market is volatile. For us, its usually just fun to watch people trying to turn this childboard into a savvier trollbox.
800  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Great Crash on: November 26, 2013, 01:32:40 PM

I don't see any reason for a crash right now. In fact, things look pretty stable for the moment.

Looks like archetype bubble pic. Next stage is long grind of capitulation.

Yes, couldn't look more like:

We would now be in "the new normal" - and the psychology among the posters seems to fit this.

We'll see
