Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservative voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1265601611310739456

That's right, let's close down businesses we don't like, fuck the constitution and all its amendments. A wonderful caricature of what the Republican party used to stand for... pretended to stand for... something like that.

Edit May 28: Trump has signed an executive order aimed at creating regulations for social media: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-preventing-online-censorship/

This is an old way for the governments to stop things that they do not like.
First they start with a lite regulation and then the regulation becomes harder.
One measure they use is also taxation... If they don't like something they raise taxes. An example is also, cryptocurrencies where they have made it difficult to the people that they are not involved in the crypto area to understand how to buy BTC or other currencies.

Well, it doesn't looks bad in current situation. Especially because at some moment I was sceptical that 2020 season will not happen at all. And in terms of logistics it doesn't looks very complicated - first races in Europe, then moving to Asia, America and finally in Middle East. It's strange why they don't held Vietnam Gp together with China and Japain. And I'm not sure how they will held races without spectators in city tracks like Baku and Vietnam.
And it will be strange to watch Seb in Ferrari and few other drivers when you know that he don't have future in that team.

This is going to change the whole calendar.
In this end it would be better to change the order of the races than not doing them at all... Spectators are not going to be included but this is a huge negative impact for F1 as a huge stream of income for the organization is spectators.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 29, 2020, 07:42:56 AM
Yeah Smiley
Good for me, cause on the 0:2 I was pretty sure that my double chance (1X) ticket is gonna to be burned, but at te end i won
The way back to the main Bundesliga is door open for Stuttgart

It was a great comeback for Stuttgart this goal in 92' was a savior.
They got a great advantage over Hamburg as they are now 2 points ahead.
But, still this advantage is a minor one and they should push more to reach their goals.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 29, 2020, 07:39:28 AM
BTW Countiho's loan deal is about to end by the end of the June. Coutinho really played well in Bayern, what do you guys think about him? He didn't had a good time in Barca before the loan deal happened but have played very well in Bayern where he played 22 games and scored 8 goals (I think he scored a hat-trick in one of the matches there) and have 6 assists. Do you think he will fit again with Barcelona after he comes back again?
Before Barca bought him from Liverpool, I was sure that he is perfect player for Barca and their style. But something just went wrong. I'm happy that he found himself in Bayern, but now I don't see his future in Barcelona, as much as I hate to say it.

Coutinho is a great player.
On Liverpool he had more freedom than in Barcelona and when he got limited freedom in his playstyle didn't perform well.
He is still a great player but he cannot play in Barcelona - unless he get Messi's position.
785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you think carefully, you can’t do a lot of thing in life on: May 29, 2020, 07:36:50 AM
You have stated so many things that there are so many others that you can do in your life without restrictions.
Apparently, the things that you can do are more simple.
Those are: Live, Laugh, Love, be Happy, spend time with your family, etc. Those things are not restricted and none is going to ask you why you are doing it.
786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: May 29, 2020, 07:33:36 AM
Ι an not a US citizen but all those incidents about police cruelty cannot be wrong.
There are multiple incidents reportedly constantly about policemen treating people with cruelty no matter the skin color.
Some measures need to be taken all around the US to stop this.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't I buy stocks with Bitcoin anywhere?! on: May 28, 2020, 08:16:51 AM
Hi folks!

Why isn't that possible?! At least I haven't seen the possibility anywhere. It's a huge gap in the market! I'd even buy stocks with 5% or more fees and pay with Bitcoin. Can't be that nobody has ever thought of making money and offering it to you?! So why not? What am I missing?

Ι don't believe that this is going to happen - at least in the recent years.
In order to be able to buy with cryptocurrencies a stock this means that the issuer of the stock accepts cryptocurrencies as a way of payment. And if we consider that a lot of issuers do not want cryptos to exist, this is not possible until they start to accept them.
788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Try this whenever you feel depressed... on: May 28, 2020, 08:10:13 AM
Hi there I am going to give you my mantra for coping with depression.
Whenever I feel depressed about something, (a loss in trading/gambling, a bad river in poker, any missed opportunity, my impulsive irrational behavior which could have been easily avoided etc) I think of  'Evolution'  . I contemplate about how long it took for us to get here and do whatever we are doing in our life. I think of difficulties we had to overcome for just survival sake, over millions of years. How we develop our senses, our consciousness over the period of millions of years. Then I compare my recent problem with that, and guess what I usually laugh after this comparison.

I do something of the same.
I use comparison with other difficulties that have come to me through my life and I think of those how big they were and how small could be the loss that I have suffered from my gambling activities. After that I feel more relieved and I get rid of my depression and anxiety.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 28, 2020, 07:42:21 AM
The market needs to be well analyzed to know the gambling site scam Bitcointalk's platforms are good, but try to stay away from new sites New sites are more scammed. Older sites are more reliable when it comes to gambling. They have a lot of bonuses and a lot of competitors In that case, you need to review the site carefully and invest less capital in the beginning.

If a gambling site is a scam then there is clear evidence for that.
There is not any real reason to analyze it very much as there will be at least one or two people that had problems from this website and they have declared their complains publicly.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mmorpg, Bitcoin, and Gambling on: May 28, 2020, 07:33:53 AM
During the past years a lot of games that were integrated in ETH blockchain took place.
However, I cannot see any of them being still viable or being in the light.
It will be a huge step for crypto integration but I don't think that people are ready to adopt it. Payments and bets in games still happen easier with fiat.

What about the people who do not want to post publicly their addresses here on the forum?
is there any chance that they can do so in the DM along with the Domains?
792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American society has gone completely nuts. on: May 28, 2020, 07:23:02 AM
a women calls the police because she has been threathend by a black man,

but the joke is she then got punished, because they accused her of calling the police based on race and not based on the threat.

even the mainstream media is attacking that women, american elites have gone completely nuts.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/26/nyregion/amy-cooper-dog-central-park.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

this means you can now freely threathen white women, in the usa, and they can't sanction that behavior.

there are multiple possible cases here

A: the black man didn't threthened her and was just bird watching and the women just invented the threthening

or

B: the mainstream media started blaming accusing the women completely ignoring that it wasn't about skincolor but about the threats.

either way this is another milestone of lowering of the american society. america will not be able to lead the world if its so broken.

I cannot see the point right here.
Do you mean that the woman wrongly accused that she called the police?
If the guy was a handsome guy with green eyes would she do the same - will she feel that she is in threat again?
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: May 28, 2020, 07:15:45 AM
It should not be wasting money when you like to have fun, it is a waste of money when you gamble but you are not entertain.
though we are in crisis, we also have to find ways to be entertain based on our budget only and gambling doesn't need to be an expensive way of getting yourself entertain.

Yeah, as long as you are enjoying the game you gamble on, and not spending the money that is already for something else, then you should enjoy what makes you sane during this trying times. Anxiety, uncertainty and mental health is real problem these days. It is your right to be entertained and sane, just be in control and always check yourself if you are already showing symptoms of addiction. Always ask for professional help.

In order to keep your stress levels and anxiety at low you should not bet huge amounts.
All those bad feelings come from the fact that you are loosing money and you have the feeling that you need to get them back as soon as possible.
794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did Bill Gates create Corona Virus (Covid-19) ? on: May 28, 2020, 07:09:58 AM
As far as I know it coronavirus originated from a laboratory in Wuhan - China

Were is the evidence about that?
You know that you don't know... If you don't have clear evidence that this is true then do not spread false news. It just create panic and misguide people for no reason.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first visit to Bitcoin. Share your fast visit price on: May 27, 2020, 08:14:59 AM
As far as I can remember, I came to know about this Bitcoin from one big brother in 2016, I had a job with them according to group + level, if the level could be increased, I would earn Bitcoin, 5 level Bitcoin for each level. Got it, for that job, I bought 5 $ Bitcoin, then the thing I remember was the price of Bitcoin, 1Btc = 900 $ +, that's when I first saw Bitcoin, never heard of Bitcoin before, share your experience, first How much have you seen the price of Bitcoin?

My first touching point with BTC was around 2017.
The price was 500 -1000 if I remember correctly and at that time I was thinking that it was very expensive and I trying to understand why it has such a huge price.
Unfortunately, I didn't buy in then and I did so around half a year later.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 27, 2020, 08:06:03 AM
Perhaps the Rumours about Jovic are to have him to double up his efforts at Madrid, because i do not see any top club going for him.
likewise, Most clubs cannot afford him and Madrid will not cut loss either.

Different players have different adaptation time to new environments, and i am sure that Jovic will end up proving himself in Madrid.

Jovic got his chances and he couldn't prove that he is a worthy player for Real Madrid.
There are a lot of greater players in the squad that are better than Jovic so I think a possible move for him is the best choice.
Probably he is going to return to Germany - a league that he is already familiar with.

The first Team McLaren reduce your employees by over 1200 😱

Quote
McLaren Group to lay off 1200 employees amid restructure

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mclaren-f1-team-mass-redundancies/4796788/

But the most are from the group, not primary from the F1 Team.

If Coronavirus has hit massively companies like McLaren then I think that we are in a bad situation.
F1 is an expensive sport for the car industry companies so it is the first place that they are going to seek in order to cut costs. I hope that we are not going to read the same news from other companies in F1.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 27, 2020, 08:01:35 AM

Fees is decided by the free market. You could pay a lower fee but it'll take a longer time but that's all that you can do right now.

Lower fees might take hours to make a transaction.
This is not a solution though, if we want to say that Bitcoin is electronic cash and a new way of making online payments - if those need hours to happen or they will never happen due to the low fees chosen.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2020, 07:59:33 AM
I cannot find any real reason why you should spend your bitcoins in order to shop online.
In my opinion, Bitcoin has a bigger value than the one right now so it is not worthy spending them for shopping. It is better to keep them in your wallet and consider it as your investment. If you want to buy something online use a stablecoin...
800  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 27, 2020, 07:56:47 AM
Hopefully, this signed message and the evidence that CSW is not the owner can be used against him to the court of law.
My question now is who is this guy that signed this message?
Should we assume that it is the real Satoshi - as recently 40 BTC that were mined in 2009 also occurred? Can we connect those two facts and conclude that Satoshi is back?
