Barcelona needed a miracle to reach the next Champions League round.
PSG had to control the match and only avoid mistakes that could have given a few chances to Barça. Now the two best players in the world, Messi and Ronaldo, can watch the competition on their massive 4K Ultra TV screens.  Grin

City scored 5 times and won the match like we all foresaw, it is true that they conceded too much to Southampton but that is fine. The aim was to get the three points and keep the distance from Manchester United.
Guardiola can now focus on Champions League

Me: Not bad. Do you remember when you asked me to buy $250 index-funds monthly and I said no?
WM: Yeah, I remember. I am sorry you didn't do that as we have a consolidated 12% yearly return.
Me: Yeah, you're right. I am sorry I don't know the exact figures of my btc yearly return as it is

Too much fuss for a game that Manchester City will win by 2 or 3 goals; the game lost with United is already behind their minds and tonight, sorry Southampton supporters, but there's nothing else than a win for the Mancunians. Looking at the odds only a fixed game could result in a draw or a loss for them.

When you can't score goals for 60 minutes in 11vs 10 you deserve to be out.

Time to make some changes in Juventus, since 2015 they have no midfield and this is the result.
Yesterday's game was decided by the slippery hands of Juventus goalkeeper. He basically ruined all the good things his team did during the game. If you ask me, Juventus did not deserve to be out of Champions League for this specific game but for the overall performance they are having this year.

According to Bitcoin Treasuries 6.5% of the available bitcoin supply is currently in the hands of several companies, trusts and funds. That is a whopping 1,365,464 BTC total! It is a huge amount concentrated over less than 50 different entities which cover their respective indirect investors (shareholders, AM, FO etc.)
Isn't it clear where are we going?

I can't imagine on what will happen if those entities will do a massive selling at the same time, maybe we can see the bitcoin price go collapsed at more critical level. But I doubt we can experience the dumping happen since hopefully they will stay and support bitcoin to shoot up until it react at $100k or maybe more we can imagine.
I see your point here but we can't do anything about that; bitcoin is a free tool and anyone, even our worst enemy is allowed to jump in and take part in it. With a 12 years long track record I bet bitcoin could only fail by imploding on itself (critical exploited bug, unattended chain reorg etc.). These entities bought bitcoin at price levels that us retailers can't understand. Surely they having selling points in mind but the most important thing to have in mind is the state of bitcoin: if it keeps growing I have nothing to fear.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think CBDC's will be interchangable with cryptocurrencies? on: March 09, 2021, 10:18:52 AM
Being the new technological advancement of central bank money I think the only reason for their creation is to stir away from crypto. CDBCs will be super controlled and monitored and I don't thing central banks will allow people and companies to trade them for cryptocurrencies. Remember that CDBCs are being developed to regain control over the money supply (and its issuance).

Atlético can try to show once more to Real Madrid and Barcelona that their endeavor towards winning La Liga is real. Tomorrow they hos Athletic Bilbao to recover a game not played from the 18th turn. Winning this game Barcelona will stay 6 points behind and Atlético could breathe and realax before their CL game with Chelsea.

Only way to make money with this is arbitrage betting. But, then you got the risk of closed accounts and what will you do next? Probably in betting shops the best try but difficult to spot the correct odds.
Before they implemented all kinds of monitoring and alarm tools to spot those kind of gamblers I remember two friends of mine were able to win big over one and a half year. They got a huge profit before getting their accounts closed and their last profits seized for cheating. They were leveraging bonuses, promos and all the rest of it until they were shown the exit door.  Cool

Atlético Madrid's moral was not hit that bad after the derby. They have a bit of time to digest this draw and move on as they will need to concentrate and stay focused for the match with Biblao which is happening on March 10th because by recovering that game they could consolidate their leadership in La Liga.

Guessing these new buys will need to be put into the context of the new stimulus bill being discussed in the States ($1.9trillion!!!).
IMHO governments and central bankers are playing with a fire that they can't control as the more money is being injected into the system the higher the hyperinflation could hit the economy.

MSTR and Michael Saylor know this and they are protecting themselves from the dollar debasing which is happening right before our eyes. In my small position I'm trying to do the same.

A friend just bought this one..... cool isn’t it
So long as he keeps being a corn #strongcat, I see no problem putting that on a wall or on the WO.
Is your friend having fun staying irrelevant or is he unlocking corn full potential?

To all those patronizing what I shared earlier, please refrain from telling me what should I have done back then. When you are in that situation, the rational part of yourself 99% of the times goes away and you are left with nothing than pure instinct.
I lost and I learnt my lesson, that's what I do care.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 08, 2021, 10:41:02 AM
There is one quite true statement that nothing is impossible Wink Atalanta is quite a combat-ready team and may well, as they say, "show your teeth", especially since the club has its own tournament tasks rather than taking points from the leader and the task of getting into the coveted top four. Although of course Juventus is now in an unenviable position and has lost the right to lose points in contrast to Inter.

I Know is not impossible but it is improbable.
Juvenuts still missing 7 players, need to play more game, needs to play in cups, have covid cases.

Inter have 1 game every 7 days, no injuries, no COVID.
They can only lose this title.

Well they still need to find 250m € by the end of this month but this is another story.
I bet Inter supporters remember quite well what happened on May 5 2002 when they lost the title after having lost their last game playing in Rome with Lazio. If you remember Ronaldo, the brazilian, cried like a baby on that day.
Until the end anything can happen!

797  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Taproot proposal on: March 07, 2021, 10:18:41 AM
We now have three different threads on Taproot and its activation path and since we are talking about the same subject I am mostly doing this for myself for further reference and to have quick links to jump from one thread to the other.
Apart from this one, which is the main thread, we are having further specific discussions on the points below regarding taproot activation

798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why when the BTC goes up the ALT goes down? on: March 07, 2021, 10:03:23 AM
It is an unwritten law now, whenever Bitcoin goes up the fiat equivalent of altcoins may go a bit up too but the corresponding value in BTC terms crashes 90% of the time. Every altcoin, after being pumped against btc will eventually fall under this law.
If you would understand bitcoin you would know why this happens every single time.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan presents to private clients that Bitcoin can reach $540,000 if compared on: March 07, 2021, 10:00:23 AM
Don't be surprised too much and remember these people have clear agendas that move their actions. They are like the politicians as they can say one things at night and then stating the exact very opposite the next day.
Don't care too find any consistency in their claims, because there is none.

Yesterday's match in Turin at the Allianz Stadium proved that Juventus is still there, therefore those like me who were so fast in ruling them out of winning Scudetto were wrong. When the emergency is over and Pirlo will be able to count on all his best team players we can see them being the biggest threat to Inter's path towards winning the title.
