781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government fears Bitcoin on: April 18, 2018, 11:10:20 PM
Crypto Currency is like a Sun powering up the people all around the globe who wants to change the world who are passionate enough to bring changes.

“It’s the top notch opportunity for reaching to the financial freedom”
That’s the reason some governments don’t approve Bitcoin because they already know the Strength of new decentralised digital currency market,if it goes up then the government will have to come down.

It’s just my opinion about Bitcoin ban
What are your thoughts?

I personally don't think that any government fears Bitcoin. Bitcoin is just an experiment, while the real brainchild is the blockchain. It is the blockchain that shakes up the old foundations of fintech. The blockchain really disrupts the way information is accessed and stored.  Instead of a private ledger that could be doctored to misrepresent it's true value, blockchain is a publicly available transparent ledger, not controlled by a centralized authority.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Clairvoyant approach versus analytical in investment decision taking on Cryptos. on: April 18, 2018, 10:58:20 PM
What is your opinion on clairvoyant prediction about futures prices versus analytical/fundamental prediction ?

Do you go for : whatever it is as long as  the results are good ? OR, whatever is the result, bad or good, you would stay with the same approach ?

Here is the example of a clairvoyant approach from a 13 year clairvoyant person who have been through the mathematical/artificial intelligence for 25 years....

https://www.theclairvoyantinvestor.com
The future is not set within stone. A medium/soothsayer/mystic/psychic will only augur/predict/read a forsee-able potential future, not a definite scenario.

For example: If you went to see a psychic, and they tell you," you will find your soulmate on a Caribbean cruise ship during your vacation next week." and you decide not to go, then you have avoided a "potential future".
You need basic logic and reasonable deduction skills, in order to make a rational decision. The analytical approach is the safest bet in comparison with the other. Remember, men lie, women lie, but numbers don't!
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: April 18, 2018, 09:37:33 PM
In your opinion when do you predict alt coins will be stable again?
It is to my belief that the Bitcoin price will stabilize when the governmental bodies around the world issue an official statement providing guidance on how to navigate the legal waters of dealing with crypto and fiat. As of now, their have been several regulatory bodies issuing statements regarding crypto, finance, and the law.
When something clear and concise is presented and a council, or foundation is created to help provide guidance for crypto,
Maybe then the market will stabilize.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Exchanges on: April 17, 2018, 04:55:27 PM
If the government still doesn't know how to put down all cryptocurrencies(or maybe they're still figuring how to tax users), why wouldn't they create an exchange and get some profit from it?

We know how B.S some exchanges are, they needed KYC but in the end, you won't be able to withdraw your funds.

Instead of spreading FUD, I hope government from all over the world knows that running an exchange can add funds for their country, and their pockets! Grin

I know it will be making cryptos centralized but look at those exchanges asking for our pretty faces and names just for their KYC/AML purposes.

I think a government exchange would convince a lot of crypto curious people to begin adopting cryptocurrencies.
Even if it's heavily regulated, at least you know there's a strong chance that you will get your money back stored in your exchange's account. The more government aidded exchanges, means the less scams you have to worry about.
This may raise an interesting debate, as many will be against any type of centralized authority.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership on: April 13, 2018, 10:31:30 PM
Good news came today from Europe:

The countries, including the U.K., France, Germany, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, signed a declaration on Tuesday establishing the new group, dubbed the European Blockchain Partnership, according to a release from the European Commission, which led the effort.

22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership
This is great news, as it shows adoption of the blockchain technology, and Bitcoin platform. This means the real movers, shakers, regulators, and policymakers are starting to get on board with the latest tech trend. Governments are usually pretty slow to adopt new tech right away. I'm not sure why, but I guess it is along the lines of, if It isn't broke, don't fix it.
Things simply need to just take time, sometimes. The price seems to be on a small, but steady incline. Maybe crypto has a chance after all?
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $500 to invest today on: April 13, 2018, 10:11:56 PM
What's the best way to diversify starting with $500. I am overwhelmed right now with all the coins i am interested in. I'm just not sure if i should be only focused on the top 10 or can i pick xxx coin that's ranked between #40-#150. I can say i like about 15-20 coins/tokens i just feel that's way to many for $500. I would like to put half in blue chip coin and invest in some alts with the remaining half. I was thinking put $50 into 4 atls???
Idk man, i'm trying my hardest to figure this out. lol thank you for any help.
First take time to cross examine all the potential investment choices you have. Second draw a venn diagram, in order to compare and contrast similarities between them, as well as differences. Use you logic and deductive reasoning skills to assess which investment has the most impact, not just now, but within the future.
Research which industries are booming. Remember that we live in a technological age of advancement. This alone should speak for itself.

Lastly, practice due diligence, and stop by

Any advice should be taken with a grain of salt. That is to say... research it for yourself to see if it balances with your way of thinking and perceiving.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the worlds problem? on: April 13, 2018, 10:04:47 PM
No, Bitcoin, as well as any other crypto coins are just mediums of exchange. The worlds problems vary greatly, but as far as adopting new tech to solve old financial crisis problems, certainly! The blockchain could be seen as a fintech savior but also a disruptor. The blockchain is a simple to understand concept, but it complicates the rules of modern day establishment, due to its decentralized nature.
Not only are the ledgers digital, but also decentralized. For parliament to adopt such as change, will not come overnight. Give it some time, the tech will evolve, and solve many more problems in the finance/business sectors. Innovation isn't always welcome with open arms.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: April 13, 2018, 09:38:46 PM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme, most people who did gain wealth were savvy investors who seen the potential very early on, before the scene became mainstream. The others were comprised of a combination of cryptographers, computer programmers, anarchists, and anyone who has a nack for futurology.
If your looking to for gold, you may only find fools gold here. There are some lucrative projects that will most certainly moon. Which ones you say? Even if anyone knew, they wouldn't share openly on a public forum. There's a good book called "Rich dad, Poor dad." It illustrates, as well as highlights the pitfalls that the average joe faces on the road to success.
It doesn't  matter what country your from, it speaks for everyone within a similar predicament.
Practice due diligence, study at the investopedia website, as they provide courses and a wealth of information that is priceless.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Bounty Hunters' Union? on: April 13, 2018, 09:16:17 PM
Sounds like a brilliant idea for a legitimate organization. I for one think that this will be a daunting task to complete successfully, but nothing is impossible. How would you go about organizing this whole plan? The thought of a union brings to mind the thought of a centralized society. Centralization means one thing, authority!
Many early adopters of crypto joined the movement for the simple fact that it went against traditional views of the modern day establishment. People around the world felt like it put the financial decisions back into the hands of the people. Though I'm all for regulation, being that it will help stabilize the current price fluctuations within market, many will stand against it, being that many members here are from countries where everything is centralized, and see the blockchain as a divine call for the little guy (your regular average joe).

790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Finally found: How to find which exchange all your tokens are traded on: April 13, 2018, 08:10:22 PM
So, if you are using an ERC20 wallet like MEW, I found this telegram bot. It tells you the changes in your wallet in real time.
WARNING: DO NOT ENTER YOUR PRIVATE KEY ANYWHERE IN TELEGRAM.
In this link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3122674.msg32282621#msg32282621
I wrote that I have over 100 different tokens and this site:
https://deltabalances.github.io
Is giving me a good idea as to which one of my tokens are the most expensive, which ones are more valuable, and which tokens are garbage. I can click on the token and directly go to trading.
The only problem is that it only has etherdelta values, as per the name deltabalances, and we all know about sluggish etherdelta.
Is there such a program that works for other exchanges, or better yet for ALL or most of the exchanges? That would be the best thing ever, and a lot of people would use it.
Let me know.
If you can take deltabalances and change it to include more exchanges with api like binance, tidex, kucoin etc., that would be great. It would even be acceptable to check these exchanges one by one. I can simply bookmark this program and check to see my tokens are traded there. A lot easier than checking all exchanges for all my tokens/coins.
Anyone up for the challenge?

I have been searching for something like this and there it is:
@ETHtokenExplorer_bot

After adding your wallet, it shows you all the US values by collecting them from different exchanges, and not just coinmarketcap. Then you can find out which exchanges your tokens are traded in and what price by typing:
/exchanges
to the bot.

I did not make the bot, but I have been searching something like this, so I thought it could be helpful to others.

Sweet, thanks brother, really appreciate it! I didn't know services like this one existed, it is very helpful and convenient. These are the types of posts that I think deserve to be praised, ones that help uplift the community!
So the bot grabs information from a data feed? If so that's  pretty clever!
791  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 13, 2018, 07:44:57 PM

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.

Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.

What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?
Agreed, but this is why it is crucial to practice due diligence for every single potential investment. Never go all in on a investment, research everything you can about a company before you invest in one. Read reviews, watch videos, ask about the team members of a project, making sure you check for academic achievements, and what ever else background information you can find. Just because a prospect appears within the threads of this forum, doesn't  necessarily make it a legitimate project.
There is a lot of scams out there, but remember, an investment is similar to a bet, whether it's horses or stock, it's  still a gamble.
792  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: REASONS OF ILLEGALIZING BITCOIN on: April 13, 2018, 07:36:11 PM
I am sick and tired seeing thread here on legal about the reasons why bitcoin is illegal on other countries. Its about a hundred same topics. So here are my assumptions hope this would help.

*TAXES
- I think its the main reason of all these. Government didnt know how to categorize bitcoin for their taxation whether it would be on a passive income or not because BTC is also a currency. Thats why its better for them to ban it.

*BANKS
- Crypto becomes a threat to them leading investors to invest on cryptocurrencies rather than them. The monetary system also will change if Bitcoin becomes more popular than fiat. Central banks, which is a part of the government would make some inforcements to stop this.

*SCAMMERS
- This is the good side of all this illegalizations, to protect people from increasing number of scammers on the internet. But if that so, its not a reason why they would stop people from achieving all opportunities bitcoin would give.

Correct me if im wrong, but these three are the main reasons why i think bitcoin is illegal on other countries

It could also be the fact that the project started off as an open sourced code and decentralized public ledger. The fact that it broke traditional boundaries within the way we as a society, and collective operate, may well be the reason many countries ban it.
Not everyone lives within a Capitalist country.
Bitcoin itself is just a medium, but the platform is built upon what some members of parliament would likely consider as an anarchist movement. I don't think everyone see's Bitcoin as just simple innovation put in motion, but a threat to the way society works.
Some will consider the bright side, and embrace it with open arms, others will detest and reject it, cutting it's citizens off from benefiting from it. Rome wasn't  built within a day. So to, crypto will take time to become adopted. It will take a collectively  agreed upon stance, to bring about a mass adoption.
Just my two cents!
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 13, 2018, 07:20:12 PM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks
Congratulations upon your success! Cryptocurrency is a real game changer for financial tech. The idea of a transparent ledger has rocked fintech by storm over the past few years!  They say that patients is one of 7 holy virtures. They also say, "good things come to those who wait".
I think the problem that many people make, is based upon whatever their degree of knowledge is in the field of fiance and business. Many have not a clue, but just a hope and a dream. You can compare the current blockchain revolution to the gold rush of the American west, as their are a lot of similarities.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: April 12, 2018, 11:02:43 PM
....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.
That's just about my sentiments on the matter. All of these alternative coins appearing, and only a few that have real innovation which expands how we utilize the tech. The infrastructure is there, but the next generation level of innovation seems scarce.
There's plenty of good projects with solid teans behind them, as well as loyal communities.  It may not be some time before a real game changing innovation is seen again, but then again, who knows?
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: April 12, 2018, 08:50:06 PM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

What is more, you can get tokens for testing KickCity beta. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8
I seriously doubt that it will be the end of ICO's altogether,  but with parliament around the world passing judgement, we will see a significant reduction in the number of coin offerings cropping up! In a way, regulation is a good thing at this point, because the sooner we recieve guidance, the better.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Services to manage bounty programs on: April 12, 2018, 08:47:19 PM
Alot of bounty campaigns are run by freelancers, usually contracted from this site. Within the forum there are severl places to find crypto related business and services.
In the market place forum of Bitcointalk, there is a subforum for service announcements, and discussions.
Also in the alternative crypto sub forum, there is a service announcements,  and service discussions subforum.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen with market???Recover or Wars?? on: April 12, 2018, 08:32:19 PM
BTC have a great pump today, i think we have some politic bad news. Can you guys tell me what happen?
Regulatory bodies around the world are starting to crack down hard on crypto, and they are currently issuing guidance by way of laws and policies reguarding crypto and finance.
It literally was a wild wild west like scenario that we have been apart of. Crypto was bound to be regulated at some point or another, so now the little bubble we've seen so far is finally starting to pop, just as financial experts predicted.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: April 11, 2018, 11:06:18 PM
What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?
It is probably just the beginning for crypto, as the market seems to be going through a few rough patches. Things have been stabilizing for the past few weeks, with the price hitting a plateau. Crypto seems to be ever-changing, as more and more people build upon the innovation of the blockchain technology.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: April 11, 2018, 11:01:28 PM
Up to now, this year is very bad for crypto investors. Everybody hopes a uptrend soon. But no one can say when it happen exactly. Some people say in april, it will start and go to peak in june and decline in august again. Some says gradual increase will happen from april to year end. Some people already converted all coins to usdt and hope further decline may be to 5k -6k. Very difficult to guess. But bitcoin will not dead. We can say it without any doubt.

What do you think about this? Will we see the downtrend continuously?

As soon as the policy makers and regulators provide a little more clarity on the guidelines to follow for each unique crypto situation,  there could possibly be an extended downtime for almost all coins in the market. Bitcoin is the staple, and has the biggest volume and market cap. It is also the main medium used to trade for fiat in the crypto markets.
2018 is just getting under way! It really is too soon to tell!
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best privacy currency on: April 11, 2018, 10:55:14 PM
I don't know which one is the best, but If I were to choose a coin, it would have to be based upon the size of, and commitment of its community, then just it's innovation alone. The coin can include all the features in the world,  but if isn't tested tried and true by an active group of participants, providing continuous support and feedback for the development of the project, it will lose the trust of the people.
A big community isn't always necessarily a good thing, but in the case of crypto, a grass rooms community gives a coin it's foundation and infrastructure.
Just my two cents!
