$100 for a month might be too small for me if I'm into gambling. I'm the kind of gambler who loves to go all in, seizing the moment, if you know what I mean. Gambling, for me, is only fun if you win big money, and there's that thrill with betting. So, I guess having $100 budgeted for that period of time wouldn't make the gambling experience thrilling at all. But, of course, we all have different risk tolerance levels and budgets. As long as you find excitement in what you're doing, I suppose that's what matters most in the world of gambling.

Thank you for your words! Thank you for, while being a high roller, not telling me that my gambling style is boring. You are right: if for me it's fun, then it's fun, right?  I'm not saying that for me it's possible to have fun always winning only $10-$20, no. I would probably call that boring too. But the thing is that several times my winning were above $200 on slots while I was betting only 20 cents and couple of times I won more than $1,000 in poker tournaments. And that's what I call fun, actually.

Also if the day comes and you decide to leave gambling behind you will not feel any kind of regret about it, you will simply remember the good times and all the fun you had, even when you lost, but those that bet too much money will have way bigger problems leaving gambling behind, as instead their memories will be very bitter as they will remember all the money they have lost and all the things they could have done with that money.

Try not to do what will make you regret later. Responsible gambling will bring you good memories even when left it behind, while risking too much will very likely make you regret it.

~
Your advice to wager within one's means seems responsible. A subtle yet dangerous optimism permeates it. Psychological traps like the assumption that a "big victory" justifies cumulative losses keep gamblers hooked. Not merely winning or losing money, but being trapped in a cycle that typically costs more than it gains.

Complex human psyches cant easily accept losses, even tiny ones. Every loss, no matter how small, hurts emotionally. What about "one day" succeeding? This delusion often leads to an endless chase. This technique protects against financial ruin but ignores mental toll. The house typically wins, leaving more than your wallet empty in this game of chance and human emotions.

I wouldn't be so sure about it. When you bet just 20 cents and lose it, does that hurt you emotionally? When you lose 50 such bets in a row, it does, but how often this happens? Restrict yourself to the smallest bets and you'll be alright.

~
~ also when it comes to winning we have to be very intelligent and withdraw the money, withdrawing is very important, because there are many players who do not care if they win, they want to continue playing to win more and more and that is not like that, it does not work like that, because the casino will always have the house advantage and the casino always wins, so we must take advantage of every moment of luck to do so.

I for one rarely withdraw money from gambling sites. My winnings serve me for future play, and if it's a big win, it can last for a year or more. I gamble for fun, and if you don't have to deposit your money for having fun but can play from the previous wins, it's great innit? Smiley
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 02, 2023, 11:04:20 AM
The main thing is to be able to restrain yourself and try not to give in to excitement, because of which people give everything in the hope of winning back. And you should realize that the casino is much better at calculating the probability of winning and uses many ways - legal and not always legal - to reduce your chances of winning

You should play on those platforms where you can be sure that nothing illegal is going on to reduce your chances of winning. We are supposed to be gambling for entertainment, to reduce stress and stuff like that. But it is very stressful to think the way you do and gamble at the same time. You better don't gamble at all if you think that apart from you already know something hidden is going on to make you lose.

1.01x is a dangerous multiplier, in my opinion. At least it's like that for me. Normally I lose definitely more than once during a hundred bets, and it's a stressful loss that you don't expect. I've noticed that betting with 47.50% win chance is more entertaining and it gives you the same result regarding wagering in the long run.
On 1.01x people tend to bet with a bigger bet amount to maximize the return from that bet. But it is not immune to busting all of a sudden while on roll over the autobet. The wrong roll makes the entire balance go down the drain and hence I dont recommend playing with such multipliers. Rather 5x or 3x with a fixed amount every bet seems better.

When hunting for the Jackpot on FreeBitco.in I'm betting with 98.96 odds or something like that, and in the case like this

at least I'm getting something back. It's been quite a while since I won Jackpot on the Multiply BTC game there. Hitting only close ones

but I hope I will hit it soon. Smiley

Today I was nicely surprised to see that I've won both of my free bets from Sportsbet.io's promos.

Wanted to win one of them, but the stars arranged nicely for me this time.

Thank you, Sportsbet.io for giving the chances to win Free Bets and thank you @jeremypwr for running these amazing events!

Played a bit Boss Bear by Push Gaming because it was on the 1st place among games with highest RTP

I was winning and losing

But, honestly, it wasn't like 198% RTP for me. Definitely not. In fact, it was more like 60%.

But then I turned to my favourite slot

I mean, literally it's the only one in my Favourites:

and won everything back right away:

It's a good feeling when your favourites don't let you down. Smiley
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: November 29, 2023, 09:27:55 AM
Max multipliers are different from slot to slot. Some are just 5,000x or some others, like Tombstone RIP by NoLimit City, can give you 300,000 times the base bet. And I believe 300kx is not the highest level actually.
-snip

But most providers find it difficult to provide maxwin or jackpot. During my experience, only Pragmatic gave me a max win of 5000x, while other providers such as spade gaming, pgsoft and play n go, with the same max multiplier, mostly only gave under 2000x. I haven't tried other providers, but of the 4, I think Pragmatic seems to be the one that provides Maxwin the most, that's why they are also the top provider known for Gate of Olympus. Of course other people's experiences may be different, this is just my personal experience. for gameplay with a max multiplier of more than 100K, has anyone ever reached that maxwin?

It would be very interesting to read about it here. 100kx? With a base bet of just $0.20 that would be still a $20k win. Btw, what was your bet when you won 5,000x? Do you have a link to REPLAY? Because with Pragmtic you can do that.

~

yes, this will vary from website to website
as well as RTP (return to player)

each person will have their favorite ones to play

what are the gambling websites you use the most?

For playing slots I use sites that are presented on this forum. Bitcasino, FortuneJack, Roobet, Duelbits, WinDice, Stake, those sites. I trust them.

The results are in!

Congratulations to our winners:

1st with a 231x hit - Bitinity!
2nd with a 64x hit - xLays!
3rd with a 25x hit - Betwrong!

Thank you all for taking part in this. There's just a few things some of you need to improve on such as adding the multiplier in the PM you send me, and one user sent me a PM with the win but didn't post in this thread so they got disqualified, unfortunately.

I hope to see you in the next one Smiley

With just 25x I surely wasn't expecting to win anything. Well, my expectations were on the low side, let's put it like this. Smiley A pleasant surprise.

Thank you, Hhampuz and FortuneJack!

May be you`re right. But in sport betting i can analyze the match, i understand what the statistics means, when i watch the match - i see what team is winning. In the trading i don`t understand anything - i just see strange charts, but someone see strange figures in it. May be the trading is possible for analyze, but i can`t understand it - i tried several times, i read several books without any result.

I just want to tell you that those who seemingly understand it they lose a lot on their trading often. The only case when they are insured against a big loss is when they are not trying to make a big profit. Same as with gambling, basically. I mean. trading is closer to gambling than any really skill-based job like coding.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: November 28, 2023, 10:37:57 AM
~ Any addiction will definitely have a negative effect on the mind and health. Even though the effects will definitely be different, we will still feel different effects. We don't know which is more dangerous, gambling addiction or drug addiction, because we try to avoid all addictions, especially gambling addiction. Moreover, we often gamble so there is a possibility that we may experience a gambling addiction. But if an addict can cure himself, that is something that needs to be appreciated because to be able to heal himself requires a lot of hard work and belief that he can heal himself.

Drug addiction is definitely more dangerous. Why? Because gambling makes you put your money at stake, while when you take drugs it's your health is what at stake, and you will surely lose in the long run, it's not like with gambling. People say that with gambling you will surely lose all your money in the long run. That's not true. And that you are guaranteed to lose at least something is not true either. There are gamblers that are in profit from their gambling activities. A small portion, yes, but they exist. But no one is "in profit" from drug usage. Gambling addiction is a terrible disease, but it's more easily cured than drug addiction.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: November 28, 2023, 10:12:17 AM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

The probability of you winning every is almost zero. Even if we take poker, a game that is not based on luck but mostly on skill, the top players like Daniel Negreanu can't guarantee winning every game. However, if we are talking about winning any game, the situation is entirely different. Especially with totally luck-based games. Anyone can win in them. It shouldn't be in your head whether you'll win or lose the next spin in dice because you can't affect the result in any way.

I see Little Mouse like I forgot to get 2 points from the Bayern game, but that doesn't stop him from strengthening his lead, nice!  Cool
I wouldn't get a single point because this would be a draw pick for me. So, it doesn't change anything for me  Grin Was lucky to get the 1st position back.

I too want to congratulate you. First position, that's impressive. 29 points separate me from you, while only 16 from the bottom position. Like anyone here I want to be the first. But let's be realistic. Do I have a chance? Smiley

Well, we have 34 matchdays in total, so, theoretically, I do have a chance. Will try to make my predictions more accurate in the future. It's a tough competition ahead.

So, true story it is. I went to twitter the other day and saw this message from Roobet:

And I remebered that couple of days ago I did participate in a giveaway by Roobet for which I should like and repost, things like that, but I totally forgot about it because I thought I will never win anything because of the odds(too many people were participating, like 3k or even more).

Then I went to Roobet and there it was, a nice notification:

and yes, it was added to my balance indeed:

You never have a chance if you don't participate, guys. Try your luck once in a while. Wink
800  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: November 27, 2023, 04:44:56 PM
This is very good news for me personally. Thank you, @betnomi for showing up here and trying to make things right.

I have a few questions regarding this form

Code:
1. First name, Last name (if you are KYC verified)
2. Username (request will be ignored if the username does not exist)
3. Email address (request will be ignored if the email does not match)
4. Refund Amount (approximate balance is acceptable)
5. Wallet address (we will process only in the cryptocurrency you have)

1. If I don't remember whether I'm KYC verified on Betnomi, what should I do?

And regarding paragraph 5: If I have funds in 3 different cryptocurrencies, BTC, ETH and USDT, how should my request look like?

Thank you.
