I don't speak for my generation, a lot of them are pretty screwed up but, we didn't cause all the worlds problems nor can we fix them so, have at it and, good luck!  Grin

at least we can agree that there's a lot of messed up with both generations

I think it's good that the Pirate party didn't win this election. I'm an Pirate party supporter my self
Winning the next one will be better Smiley

There are many things that can go wrong here in the next 4 years and it would all been blamed on the Pirate party. because many people here fear the Pirate party, guess who? Cheesy

I'm 25 years old and my generation is getting really tired of the corruption here, more and more young Icelanders are moving out of the country thanks to high interest rates on loans
and over priced apartments. The health care system is been cut down, the police and the education. the food price is going up, they increase tax on food from 7% to 11% so they can decrease tax on
electronics :/  they say that the purchasing power is up and every one is happy, nothing has happened and everything is on the right track. except they are for getting the young people, old people, the disabled people, the police, the whole health care system and education system.

it will be interesting to see how they are going to fix all these problems when they don't even want to pay their taxes

I see you have the similar problems as in the USA, that 1950s generation sure don't want to let us run the world.

Babyboomers messed up the world, blame us, and now we have to fix it so they can enjoy their retirement  Angry

Interesting considering that "1950's generation" invented the technology you are using to make that statement. The problem is the senile politicians and bankers who can barely get out their easy chairs telling the rest of us how things need to be done. I'm part of the 50's generation and I, and many of my friends and relatives don't like the current state of affairs any more than you do. I was part of the "digital revolution" and still am. The problem is not us, its you and us and everyone because if we could all settle on one course of direction, the world would move toward it. But that would hinder individual thought and everyone's "right" to be anything they want no matter how ridiculous, offensive, stupid or downright dangerous that might be.

It's the fact that we are so splintered in our views and believes that there is little to no progress being made on many fronts. The guys from the 40's still run the governments for the most part, you know, the ones they wheel in wearing a bib....

PS: Not many of us are set to "enjoy our retirement" as most of us won't be able to afford to retire.

lol, most of you are regressive. hit a nerve I see

Help me. I want to transfer on a stock exchange and provides just such an error. Wallet v2.1.3.0-71d4969

i usually get this error if the chain is corrupted.
delete it and sync again, or restore a chain backup

i backup my dnet chain once a week cuz i got this error several time (with the current version only rarely)

Also it seems he is using the 64 bit version, he has it under Program Files (x86) which is meant for 32 bit version.

Try using the 32 bit version instead and update to latest wallet.

Short History of Japan and Bitcoin
In 2013.  Many Bitcoin businesses were located in Japan but ran by expatriates.   MtGox was initially created by an American and later sold to a Frenchmen.

2014 - Few Japanese in Japan had ever heard of Bitcoin – even with MtGox in the international news.   Most of the people protesting outside of MtGox, in Tokyo, were expatriates.

Legislation and laws on cryptocurrency were a response to something called Mona Coin.  Mona Coin was the first alternate in Japan and was more popular than NEM, in Japan, until 2016.

In 2015 – “Indigenous” Japanese people (not expats) started to create their own exchanges and businesses, including Takao Asyama who is affiliated with Mijin / NEM .

In 2016 – the Japanese Blockchain Consortium is founded.   The consortium is predominately Japanese but contains a few expatriates in some positions.

In terms of ordinary person adoption - Japan is probably where America was in 2011?

In terms of organization - Japan is probably in the top 3.  The United States and Switzerland is ahead of Japan.

In terms of top-down interest - there seems to be a lot of banks and businesses in Japan looking at Blockchain.  I think Japan might be better than USA and Switzerland in that regard..

For top-down ~ NEM already was adopted by a few businesses like Okwave, Tech Bureau, a supermarket chain [Adarara?] and apparently Campfire is next.

NEM is otherwise working hard at the moment to be ready for when more Japanese decide to adopt cryptocurrency.  For NEM to be ready, this means a good mobile app and having some services available.   When the app and services are available, that's when advertisement in Japan will probably increase.

From your username and your comments I assume you don't live in the USA.

USA is really backwards when it comes to progress for society, people want the 1950s back. USA is not as progressive as the movies might tell you.

I have not yet claimed my coins, but from I read it seems like I will be having problems during the claim process.

I used multibit HD before I found out it uses a completely new account to send BTC.

Has anyone yet been able to succesfully claim their coins when using multibit HD? I don't want to risk screwing it up.

It's like mycelium hd wallet:

I have sent multiple emails on my ICO claim and no answer yet i need help i used my mycelium wallet sent screenshots of all info where it was sent from and got the money they sent to addy but it will send from another addy if i send that acct changes addy everytime i send one

IMHO you have created a HD wallet in mycelium and that's why you can't control your sender address. Try sending your complete balance to the address with which you participated in the ICO and then try again. If you have all bitcoins in one address the wallet is forced to take this address as input.

This worked and I was able to claim my tokens, thanks.

790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash = major SCAM on: October 30, 2016, 09:45:06 AM
Fuck the zero-sum, its all heavily manipulated by several whales. Why do you think Ethereum, Monero and Dash are tanking? Because of ZCash. I was expecting a huge pump (https://twitter.com/bulgar1an/status/791970268768075777), but come on, this is not serious. I am genuinely scared about our future here...

Agreed and you have to see that it's cemented in greed.
The machine is designed and it works one way and that is not going to change.

All we see is people with lots of spare money setting up scams then the poor pricks piling onto them for chump change profits.

While pretending to be against these very same people..
When in essence all they are doing is supporting them for a cut.

I have long said there is no stopping the silly bullshit.
Regulations is the only thing that will realistically stop any of it.
And guess who doesn't want that ? ROFL
..i wonder why hahahha

I gave up hope on all these idiot dregs here long ago and said they are a lost cause.
The titanic is being steered by the blind & dumb and there is 0 life boats.
There will be no govt bail out packages.. just richer whales.

PS:
Years ago it would have been impossible for Zcash to even get listed on an exchange let alone supported by anyone in crypto.
Times have changed.. it's 1,0000000 more scammy now.

It's just another *rigged* scam coin.

NEM is a bit down but I have yet to see it suffer into oblivion.

Sure there's the yearly pump but that seems to set it at a higher floor each time.

ZEC below 1 BTC within the next few hours...was so nice that withdraw was done manually for this coin and not automatically at all other coins when you mine at suprnova... but of course when you own the full supply...

1. Miners are mining ZEC
2. Report having problems with withdraw will do it manually.
3. Ocminer was working all night.

Real story:

1. Miners are mining ZEC.
2. Ocminer took all the coins and transfer to Poloniex and all other exchanges
3. Dumped miners coins as 3299 - 1000 - 500 - 25 - 10 BTC per coin
4. Buyback coins at around 10 BTC per coin
5. Send coins back to his site to payout the miners reward from step one
6. Counting his profit he made on dumping all the coins that miners created in point 1.

So basically it was the biggest scam ever!!! NEVER, I repeat NEVER there was a problem with withdraws on Suprnova!!!! Always automatically, NEVER ONE SINGLE PROBLEM!!! NEVER!!!! and now there is this problem.... I would say do your own investigation but I think the real story is true.

PS: Who created this thread.... No other mining pools on OPs.... Wink Biggest coin but only one mining pool?Huh

Edit: Maybe someone needs to investigate this based on the block explorer... was there a big withdraw from SuprNova?  But the problem is that he won't be that stupid to do it in big withdraws as he knows how to scam.

this sounds about right

Someone actually spend 20 btc for 0.0132 ZEC ,  a moment later the price gone down very hard.

Why is this coin trading at ridiculous prices ? what is the current coin supply ?
Exchanges, devs, pumpers, pools, crypto coin news sites <<< they are all in on this scam.

Sad because this makes BTC lose credibility and the media puts their ugly spin on it.
