AFAIR, every image manipulation software i worked with (general reference is imagemagick, tho), uses bitmap representations of compressed image formats to apply manipulation to. This is the reason photoshop and the likes prompt you for setting compression parameters on save of destructively edited JPG files, which is any operation beyond cropping.
Right. But this is on the device, was my understanding?

Correct, any uncompressed format will do, of course. I'd be good with TIFF's.
Just speculation but it may need to work in a compressed format from being unable to manipulate a fully uncompressed file that size in memory.

EDIT: I also tried the panoramic photo function of the drone today, and it's a shame that the input images (5) and resulting 180 degree pano stitch are rendered in JPG, regardless if the camera is set to RAW or not. This is a no-go in my opinion, but that may be only me, while others could be perfectly happy with it.
Well, RAW means directly from the sensor so if you manipulate it in any way, it's not really RAW anymore, no? I see what you're saying though.

Also, to take us back a few pages, they stopped using beef tallow because it is high in saturated fats and the scientists were telling us that saturated fats are bad for us. Why do they taste to good!?
I believe the vegetarians were making a bit of a fuss as well. Also worth noting that the fillet 'o fish mentioned above used to use lard in the buns.

Of course, this diet discussion is all academic as we can only afford Ramen now.

Any way they are collaborating so that the court "confirms" that csw is satoshi? He's shown himself to be quite the trickster.

This Michael Saylor Tucker Carlson interview might be more important than we might think...
Perhaps, but I am always sus on timing of such MSM displays. The bigger question is why now? With inflation through the roof, why not now?
|
|

It sure is. Curbing inflation means less free money to further inflate the stock-bubble with, as they seem to recognize they are causing the inflation by all the money printing (duh, really??). So a red candle. However tomorrow everyone will realize that a) the printers will be going brrrrrr for quite some time to come, only maybe a little less, after a while and b) when there is inflation, ANY money lying around is just decaying in front of you so should instead IMMEDIATELY be pumped into to the bubble.
I remember back in the 80s and before, they could kinda get away with "Uh oh, inflation is high/low, we're going to do our best as an honest and righteous government to make sure we keep it where it's supposed to be". I'm guessing there's a few still up there who don't realize that the playing field have changed and most people know that it's mostly caused by money printing (though too many still buy the lie that inflation is a good thing). I'm really starting to dislike this coupling of stonks and BTC. Feels degrading and dirty.
Bitcoin is always going to have its share of clueless newbs who don't really understand. It's probably a fairly constant ratio. Though I wonder if some of that is instead shifting over to alts.

Anyone feel like deleting a few more posts from 2015? or 2011? I was not participating in the forum before late February 2014.. so there is that.
Did someone just delete a bunch of posts? I'm suddenly finding my actual new posts are page or two previous to where 'new' posts should be.

That's where I get confused. Which is he?
He sports an anarcho-communist star tattoo. If his actions seems contradictory it may be because his ideology is likewise. And drugs. Lots of drugs.

The phone company tried to install a solution using a antenna and the mobile phone masts, but they couldn't get a strong enough signal. So, I'll be on here more sporadically for a while i think, depending on how well the phone wifi solution works.
The good news is, WO is pretty low bandwidth, not least because Theymos has all-but abandoned the site and we're stuck in 2011. Sorry, just checked the bottom of the page. That's 2009.

I also wondered why there had been no blown fuse. There is no fuse at all in this system - the electrician said that he wouldn’t expect there to be and that if there is an overload or short, then the relays would simply fail (I may not be explaining this bit properly). I thought this was a little strange but another acquaintance (a distant, retired relative) agreed with this. I’m still not totally convinced, but what do I know….
Indeed, if there is no fuse, crap will fail. That's kinda the point of the fuse. More specifically, it'll help protect the wiring which may be running through walls, behind plaster, etc. Even if the relays would fail from the excess current (which doesn't sound like a good measure to me, considering the collateral damage that may ensue), there's the real possibility that the relay manufacturer could change the production method and they could function well beyond their rated capacity (they are not a safety device). Now, it may be custom in your location that these things are not supplied with a fuse or breaker but it wouldn't be the first time bad practices become custom. I guess I’ll just have to join the throw-away culture which I hate so much
It's annoying. The internet has made it incredibly easy to find parts these days but it seems manufacturers are discontinuing parts at an accelerating rate. A couple of months ago it was the hinges on my oven (I was finally able to locate compatible parts at not-cheap prices), last month it was my relatively new electric chainsaw (wear part) - ended up buying a new one. Now, my steam cleaner hose has a hole in it. I'm going for a repair on that one since I have had no luck at all locating the part.

• The issue is caused by domain name system (DNS) “pollution,” Binance Pool and Poolin said on their Chinese Telegram channels. F2pool also said the pool’s domain name is not being properly resolved.
Quite surprising if big miners are actually dependent on DNS.

Strangely enough, I am very much discouraged, among other things, by the persistent silicon shortage (with regards to GPUs, mostly). This was NOT supposed to happen in a true market economy, right?
You think we're in a true market economy? Most of the issues we're having right now are government generated. But even then, there will always be lag between demand and supply. The shitcoin boom isn't helping much either. At least Bitcoin was valuable enough that it was worth developing dedicated ASICs.

Lets speculate, was Bitcoin made because the globalists want us to get used to digital currencies before they implement their own? Or was it made because somebody foresaw these days we live in right now and gave us a way out? Hopefully its the 2nd. I think this video from George is very important to watch and share with family and friends. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtwrn1eUqkU&ab_channel=GeorgeGammonWell, you know, Bitcoin is used by scoundrels and criminals. Which is why the government hasn't banned it yet.

Condolences to anyone who will be facing "Bitcoin fell $12,000" around the dining table today. Ask them how much money they’ve made in the last 12-18 months (realised or unrealised). Show them your bitcoin balance & tell them what the price was 12-18 months ago. That will wipe the smile from their HFSP faces. Happy Thanksgiving WO. Don't show anyone anything. They'll only come around begging later.

Happy BitcoinGiving! I say it especially to upset the native fiat holders. We took their land and their evil plans and fucked it all up. Hmm. Might be a meme in that.
