Hi, just found this coin, can someone explain to me why the price jumped from 1 sat to 7 sat in the past 4 days? Also the price curve on Coinmarketcap looks weird, seems like the price as been below 1 sat from time to time?

You seem to have the right attitude! If you want my personal advice: Try to catch smaller coins BEFORE they get big. Waiting and searching for such a coin is the main activity of investors like us, and it can take a long time and patience until you find it. That way, you can easily make 100x profit within a year or so, depending on your talent for finding promising projects. Personally, I (usually) don't buy any coins that have a market cap over 500K USD.

Cryptopia devs seem to have something against CryptoCoderz personally, since some unknown person claimed to be part of the CryptoCoderz team and talked trash about Espers and Cryptopia, so then they delisted Espers ... they delete any user account that inquiries them about anything CryptoCoderz related because they think they are scammers, so be aware.

There is no minimum amount. But depending on the amount, it can take a VERY long time until you receive a stake.

IIRC there is a connection limit on Windoze systems. But having more connections doesn't increase you stake probability, only the network stability.

And everybody please stop messing around with ESP 1 on Yobit, there is only Espers which is NOT listed on Yobit ... people get confused about these two which is a shame, because this should be a thing of the past ... by not delisting it, Yobit is hurting the entire community and confusing newcomers.

The 1 sat buy wall is gone btw., which is the only natural thing to happen because this was ONE person who started the entire confusion by throwing 30 BTC on it ... so much for "I'm smelling 3 sat here", hm?  

Sorry there are so many questions (which are always the same questions, again and again btw.), I cannot answer everything. Maybe we can set up a help desk system for the community to track questions and help each other? Does anybody have the required resources for this?

Until then, just read the past 10-15 pages, and chances are that your question is answered somewhere already. Here is a summary:

• Yes the "expected time to reward" is wrong, try multiplying it by 1000 or so.
• It can take weeks until you get your first stake, depending on your balance. One solution could be to split your funds to many different addresses (or inputs to be exact).
• For network errors, check your ports and add more nodes
• For all other problems, try resyncing from scratch and use a bootstrap for it

From what I have heard, there is also a Wiki or FAQ in the works somewhere ...

Let me give you some senior trading advice. Don't trust the market, trust the fundamentals! Investing in the dead leftover of a coin swap is purely speculative.

1. Deposit coins to your wallet.
2. Leave your wallet open and wait a lot. DONE

Btw. there is still a 5 BTC buy wall on Yobit, if anybody still has his unswapped ESP 1 then this is your chance to swap to ESP 2! Sell on Yobit, and buy ESP 2 on Nova. Has somebody tried depositing ESP 1 to Yobit?

Both. Technically, the current Espers is a hard fork of ESP1 (which is still traded on Yobit), so you could take the old (pre-fork) code, copy the code to another repository, start running a node, tell Yobit to use the new repository and change the ticker, and BAM you have revived ESP 1. The real question is, who will continue to develop that version, and what value it will have.

Holy shit! 30 BTC volume on Yobit for ESP1. Well good for anybody who still owns ESP1, sell them now to the guy there as long as you can ...

On the other hand, there is someone who has really spent a LOT of money without doing his research. Or he is planning to revive Espers 1 (which is more likely in my opinion, only level 1000 idiots spend $80,000 USD on error.). Interesting news though.

Almost forgot that this is the internet, hehe   We need more memes! The only thing that made DOGE successful was the Doge meme (much wow!).

  I think "steaking" should really be the new term established for the PoS system of this coin.

That's a pretty smart idea, maybe we should have a way to automate this so smaller wallets can receive stakes regularly!

You made a very good choice indeed, although I would in general recommend you to do your research first, and put in your money afterwards. Or you will lose your money over time.

Well actually, if there is going to be 3 BTC volume daily on Yobit, you can just create a sell order at 1 sat and wait a few weeks until it's your turn to cycle them back to some idiot who has not done his research. xD In that case, it would be to your favor if Yobit does NOT delist it.

By the same logic, it could be quite profitable to mine ESP 1 now if you can manage to sell it on Yobit. The orders are FIFO (first in first out), so by 3 BTC daily and a sell wall pipeline of 30 BTC, it would be approx. 10 days until you have sold your coins.   I don't know if you can manage to connect to the Yobit node of ESP1 though to transfer your coins. I mean it's open source and an open network, so you could even run your own seed node and make Yobit switch to it, or create a new fork and convince them to use it...   Endless possibilities.

That said, you could run into some moral problems by doing this, because you would be fooling people into believing they are buying REAL Espers ... it's going to be a fork of ESP either way, so it should use a different ticker. That's also the least thing Yobit should be doing ... (Espers Original (ESPO) or sth like that).

It's not us getting a bad reputation through this.

The minimum coin age for staking is 2 hours. Everything else depends on the amount of coins that you have. Note that the "Expected time to reward" is way off currently, it takes much longer in reality. If your wallet says you are staking, everything you can do is wait.
