Bitcoin dominance is slowly increasing. It was at 34% a few days ago, now it's at 39.5%. Most altcoins are red. Bitcoin is currently more than twice the market cap of #2, Ethereum.
Do you think that altcoin hype is finally fading?
I don't think so. Maybe people are shifting funds around, going to bitcoin because its started a rally. Well, at least that's how I read the market and bitcoin's dominance. And I don't think that the altcoin hype is finally fading or dying most specially the top 5 - 10 altcoins. Yeah, they have their days under the sun, but I'm sure that in the next coming months most of them will increase as well even getting into all-time-high. What I don't like though is that those altcoin fan boys shouting that bitcoin dominance will be over. It will not happen. Sorry to burst the bubble to you guys. I think what's happening now in the crypto marketplace is something related to Pump and Dump Schemes involving people who buy crypto coins all at the same time to increase the price and sell it when the value increases for huge profits. The scheme involves finding cheap coins to purchase and then artificially boosting their prices through misleading statements via news outlets and social media like Twitter and Telegram before cashing out. Please read, WALKTHROUGH: How traders 'pump and dump' cryptocurrencies and How Bitcoin Pumps and Dumps Work.

Sudden I hair a news that Facebook banning All crypto ads. If that's true, Will be negative for our Loving Bitcoin (all over crypto)? I also see a News.
We are cryto lover people, but why Facebook did that? What's the man reason?
I think what you heard is incorrect. What you heard maybe some sort of misleading or "fake news" intentionally made and broadcasted by Bitcoin hater. One example is a news published by Fortune.com that says and I quote, Facebook Inc. is banning ads on its social network that promote cryptocurrencies, initial coin offerings and binary options, saying they’re “frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices.” Take note of the bolded portion which is misleading and totally different from the image below that says, “ that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive practices”, they're has a different meaning from that are.

Ive been running my GTX 1080 for over a year with +20% power/+100/+1000 mining equihash. It mines a good 20 hours out of the day, I only shut it of in the evenings if I am on the computer. So far I have seen no issues whatsoever with running it this hard. I also have 1070s running like this for over a year as well so I wouldnt think you would cause any damage as long as you keep temperatures in check.
I know when you set at +20% the card becomes hot and you'll smell something like melting plastic or rubber, especially if you're mining Ethereum. So, if I overclock all my graphics cards will they not be damaged? Well, you know graphics cards nowadays are too expensive and hard to find. Also, may I know the required or safe temperature (°C) for the CPU and graphics card? I have a maximum of 75°C, more than a year in this mode Wow! What about the CPU, is it also 75°C? I'm using Intel Core i7 and once it reaches over 60°C I immediately set the CPU core to 3. So, running all my cards over 60°C would be safe enough. Thank you. As long as you keep your card temperature below 65 degree celsius, you can overclock it to the max, it won't damage your card. The biggest damage a graphic card can receive is from excessive heating. Although Nvidia says that temperature limit is 95 degree celsius, that is only in theory. In practice I have seen so many burned Gtx 970 from my experience working as an IT, all because of excessive heating.
Thanks a lot for sharing... it's great knowing those things for newbies in the mining field like me.

Since last couple of weeks we see that bitcoin price is going down and down. Is bitcoin price back to the normal and touch the highest by the end of the year ? Is it again creating the new milestone?
Yes it does, bitcoin will be back to its own rythm now you can see in the coinmarket how btc started to grow again from 7k and now it was almost 10k so it will be back on his track again for sure mate . As of this writing, the price of Bitcoin is $10,324.10 seems it recover and starts moving on the right track upward, so before February ends let's expect it will be hitting the $13000 mark.

I would like to make my own shitcoin, for education purposes only. Learning block chain and such. Is there a make a shit coin for dummy site?
I think this post on steemit would help you, How To Create An ICO Scam in 5 Simple Steps... below is what the author's intent for posting it. "DISCLAIMER: The intention of this post is not to actually teach you how to scam people (it’s wrong you idiot!) but to raise awareness on how easy it is to do and to fall for. A lot of newcomers are getting familiar with the world of cryptocurrency and looking for investment options so having as many warnings out there as possible is never enough. Better be safe than sorry."

Well, we all know Bitcoin has suffered a dramatic start this year with huge price fluctuations as its price dropped again last week causing severe shock among investors. But Bitcoin has made slight recoveries this week and it seems it begins moving on the right track. So, if we look and believe in the Bitcoin Price Prediction For 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 And 2022, we could expect Bitcoin price reaches $10000 or up to $13000 mark before February ends.

I hope that it is truth At present there a lot of fake news and it is hard to understand what is real some times..but anyway it is good He's about to be paid and so, he's not paid yet. And it's not clear what specific coin in the 300 million coins ONG Social has mined Bloemen would receive. Canadian speed skater Ted-Jan Bloemen recently became the first athlete to be paid in virtual money when he struck a one-year sponsorship deal with ONG Social, a social network and crypto community, and CEEK VR, a developer of virtual reality experiences. According to Kgazette.com, ONG Social has mined 300 million coins, worth a total of $138.69 million. The cryptocurrency was founded in June. Although it's not known how many coins Bloemen stands to receive, he told Canada's National Post that the deal was "a minimum amount in cash, but most in cryptocurrencies."

Hello everybody, I know mostly people here know what they need to do before investing in any ico but there are still many people ask the same question in different thread specially newbie. They get the answer but in several post which maybe make them a little confusing. I am not an expert but i could put what i know here. All i know is from reading here in the forum. Well just start, everything you need to research and make sure before investing in ico project wheater the ico has : * working product * Unique or good idea/solution for existing problem or future problem. * Strong team behind the project * Strong planning and marketing ability * Partnerships with reputed company * good whitepaper and roadmap too * experience advisor Edited : * make sure the idea is different with the exist ico or the old project * check the supply of the token because it cause the price run From all mention above, i have 1 thing that is most important in my opinion. That is ico should have working product because working product can lead the ico would be success ( not 100% success but mostly success ). Maybe this thread will help you to find working product ico : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2451482.0After you do research about above things, you can check the rating and other detail in below website : * Icobench.com * Icorating.com * Icobazaar.com * Icoscanner.io Other source to check popularity of the project is youtube and also this forum. I know its not complete but i hope it can help member who need it. Note : your suggestion is appreciate to add the detail above. Thank you Very well said. It's not surprising that majority of ICOs are SCAM, because it's really easy to create an ICO project like what Steemit published here, https://steemit.com/scam/@moonjelly/how-to-create-an-ico-scam-in-5-simple-stepsBut if you do your own research before investing in any ICO projects you could avoid being scammed, https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/guides/how-to-avoid-scam-icos/

Ang sabi sa aken, we start with two muna. If needed, we can add more.
To get a perspective, look at the other locals, or other country boards. Tingnan mo yung India and Spanish and German. I can't understand them but look at the board structure.
Vote in the poll. Kung ano ang top 2, eh, di yun. (Wag gumamit ng mga alt, makikita rin ng admin pag duplicate vote.) Yung totoong boto lang ha. Para sa aten din yan. Mukang marketplace and beginner ang top 2 so far.
So, it's possible to add other sections in the Child Boards. Presently, the top 2 in the Poll are Marketplace and Trading so let's hope this will be implemented sooner. Off Topic is a good choice also, but it's in #4 position with 15.7% votes.

|
|
This is one of the reasons why I was suggesting to the mods for the additional sections in the Child Boards, and not limited to only just Altcoins (Philippines). So, expect deletion as this is a non-bitcoin post... or it may be thrown into the trashcan.

Good news for the trading enthusiasts. It relates to the Crypto Price Tracker App which I think would be beneficial to Filipino crypto traders. It was a 16-Year Old Crypto-App Developer developed it and she posted on forum /r/bitcoin but nobody believes because she's too young, instead, she was mocked and criticized. What matters in this App is that it's for iPhone (and iPad maybe) users and not for Android. If you're interested you can visit this link, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/crypto-price-tracker/id1333696099?ls=1&mt=8 and this demo video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-90aV48Edyc
