7801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: August 14, 2017, 02:51:21 PM
I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?
If you play in the gambling with a big amount of money or bitcoin then when time that you are withdrawing your balance in the bankroll
then its not transferring to you're account and delay for a couple of hours or days, well I guess that's time which  you've been a victim of scammed.
Not necessarily and it depends of will you get your money or not.
Big amount of money probably requires manual withdraw from cold wallet or some kind of investigations to make sure you didn't cheat.
Unless it is too obvious that casino is scam I don't see other way to say casino is scam unless it scams someone.
sometimes,i cant haardly recognize if it is good or not, but in order for you to know it , you must find the platform or the devs behind it. and also just be keen observant when you are playing and make sure that the site that you are playing is know by others too, take a deep survey before putting some money on it, this just an advice buddy.
As a person you would really able to identify such thing either if the site is good or bad with just basing on feedback from other people if you do find out that theres a previous issue with the site then its better to avoid it already than risking your money on trying to deposit on the site. Google is always our friend which we can see anytime on a sites reputation standing and feedbacks from other people.
7802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 14, 2017, 01:48:43 PM
theres no actually wrong on playing gambling as long you do make use on your own money and not borrowing or stealing others money. We do have our own right into our funds and theres nothing wrong about that and the thing we should avoid is getting to addicted on which comes to a point on where you are compromising everything and wrecking your own life because of gambling.
Yes, a gambler must feel shameful when he is disturbing others or hurting/robbing someone for the reason of going for gambling. I guess, basically gamblers are not doing this when they gamble with their own money. Still, a gambling activity may hurt a family. But gambling with limited sources will not hurt anyone.

The reasons for feeling ashamed must be in very less numbers, but many gamblers are going for that also. That kind of situations must be avoided. Continuing gambling by not bothering those must be a worst choice than dying.
We should really avoid these things as much as we can and dont let this thing to happen to ours on which comes to a point on where you are already disturbing others or compromising your family needs.Shameful thing would be felt when your neighborhood already see you as an addicted gambler and do foolish things already.
7803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Cloud Mining Services on: August 14, 2017, 11:22:11 AM
I know there's no use of investing into a bitcoin cloudmining service but what about some alt-coins? Something like ETH or any other alt-coin. Anyone invested in it or had any kind of experience with it? Is it even profitable at all and does it require some huge investments or even some smaller amounts that would accumulate over time would do the job aswell?  Thanks.
.
I know eobot, where you can "mine" several altcoins. In reality only btc is mined but they exchange to your alt, that you choose while mining. But at the moment the ghs is expensive there. You could use their faucet and look a bit around. Also hashflare and genesis offer contracts for altcoins.
Yes but with eobot you will never reach roi. Even they say you can lose investment and cloud mining should be considered as fun, i just don't see how investment in something which wont give you profit is fun. About genesis someone made nice calculation about them and also it is not possible to reach roi.
Its never really been fun when you see that your earnings arent enough and you would able to see already that reaching ROI would be like just forever and as you said its not fun anymore since we are talking investments here and we know its money and we do value our money and why would bother yourself into engaging these thing if you know that you arent profitable already.
7804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 13, 2017, 04:54:38 PM
I don't think so...
being a gamble I don't work any harmful work against any human being. so I don't feel ashamed. when someone does any harmful activities which lead suffering to anyone then that people might be ashamed.
You are right, I don't know why few of people feel shameful for being a gambler. I don't see that this activity is shameful, because we didn't do anything bad to anyone, so it's OK to be a gambler.

Maybe, we can feel shame when we gamble with people money. Personally i didn't do that. I just play with my own money, and i feel good to do that.
This is right, theres no actually wrong on playing gambling as long you do make use on your own money and not borrowing or stealing others money. We do have our own right into our funds and theres nothing wrong about that and the thing we should avoid is getting to addicted on which comes to a point on where you are compromising everything and wrecking your own life because of gambling.
7805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: August 13, 2017, 03:52:19 PM
I think when they lose the things that they can't afford to lose. Realization is always in the end. People tends to be more agressive and impulsive these days. They do things without proper analysis and without thinking what would be the consequences of their actions. They only realize the flaws of their actions after they lose something valuable to them.

People always do things like that because when we are angry , we cant control ourselves. That is why the rules of this life is simple. Never reply when you are angry, never make a decision when you are sad and never promise anythig when you are happy because if you are not calm then you cant make decision
You are right, In the emotion time good or bad, Make decision is not good, mostly when you are angry. Sometimes people make false decisions that keep them in troubles and destroy his life, because he can't control himself.

So to avoid this kind of things, we should control ourself first, and then make decisions.
Making decisions on those times you are on anger or frustrations isnt really advisable and as you said we will eventually make false decisions since our mind isnt on the good mood and our emotions is mainly affecting it which means if our brain cant think up properly then expect we would really do foolish things ahead. In this case let yourself cooldown first before making any decisions. Sounds easy but would really be a hard thing to do.
7806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: August 13, 2017, 02:57:11 PM
I mostly gamble with bitcoin and still go with it of course this is the best way to gamble as all gambling sites does prefer to bitcoin. But I had to gamble sometimes with ETH though both coins are precious to me because I personally want to handle and hold them because their value are both increasing but when gambling is triggering me these two coins are my preferred.
I am also preferring gambling with bitcoins as other coins are having same level of risks still the profits we may get is comparatively very less then why should I waste by time with low value things ? I guess altcoins are good for the gambler who do not want to risk big.

Yes alt coins are good for those who want to play safe. But there are valuable coins that are comparably has a good value and it's also worth to try the risk. There will always be the feeling that you want to gamble with bitcoin and sometimes we are moody and we want to gamble only with alt coins. Depending always on the gambler.

Now I'm seeing the amount of BTCs being gambled increased again. Before the fork there were more people using AltCoins to gamble, principally Litecoin and Ethereum, now I see these coins disappeared a bit, not totally anyway. Seems gamblers were just waiting the fork happen to start gambling with their Bitcoins again. Probably because the price is increasing very well too.

Yes there's a lot of people who are using alt coins and they prefer to choose it because they are thinking that the worth of bitcoin shouldn't be gambled. But for those gamblers that has a lot of bitcoins this is a good thing for them because they can gamble all the time with a very small amount of bitcoin.
For whales it wont really be a problem at all since they would really play out on those bitcoin that they had directly without minding about altcoins since they do have lots of btc on their pocket but for those people who are on average range or even those people who have sufficient amount of bitcoin they might possible on using altcoin not on the value reasons but on its confirmation times and less fees.

The confirmation time and fee are the second reason the main reason is the price. Did you check what today's price it reached up to $4200. Now tell me will you ready to lose your Bitcoin this time to get just fun. I think no one will be ready if they willing to lose means either they are rich people, or they are new to this Bitcoin world. And why people use altcoins to do gamble means it is easy to use and the bankroll should look high.
Yes, bitcoins price is already high but you can anytime adjust the amount of satoshis you would use on playing gambling but well its peoples choice if they would still use bitcoin because the value is going crazy high as of now and spending them just for gambling is somehow a dumb decision to make better to hold it of than wasting it on gambling site houses.
7807  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: August 13, 2017, 02:08:12 PM
When more retailers will receive Bitcoin, I think it's just a matter of time, because the more bitcoin the more it uses, the possibility of bitcoin will continue to grow and the price will be more expensive Wink
I agree, bitcoin has already made a huge impact on the internet and the news of it rising up has been the talk of forums and blogs and videos, and i think that the more poeple will join in the soooner it will become widly accepted.
Wide acceptance of bitcoin is found to some extent. This will increase when more people start using bitcoin directly for different purposes starting from purchasing. More retailers start accepting when the people start using it for purchasing in large scale. In the past some retailers started accepting bitcoin and stopped the service all of a sudden, because they didn't gained big through it.
Yes. The increased usage of bitcoins for buying goods, paying off bills etc will push their common use which will ultimately make retailers accept bitcoins as payments. Just like new traders, those retailers also got panicked and gave up on their bitcoins. They must be regretting their decisions now.
Some of them feel like they’re far from it this time, maybe because of price. Asian countries like Japan and China, are always quick in adopting/accepting new technology etc.

But other countries ? Nah, they’re kinda too slow. But we can be sure about the change of trend as new high prices of bitcoin will enforce everyone to adopt/ accept bitcoins either for investments or part of their payment system.
Its not really on how fast country would adopt bitcoin and saying such thing wont really be an easy thing on which we would say that they should accept bitcoin. There still lots of thing to be considered first for a particular country to decide if they would adopt it or not. Japan and China did accept it since they know its capability and potential and hopefully others would really see the same thing too.

7809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 12, 2017, 09:44:53 AM
Thanks for the analysis, good analysis, I agree with you, maybe it's just a joke and maybe also a scam
If you do try to see Bitcoincash you can say that its not a scam and its still kicking as of now in the market. Price might be affected by hype but somehow it stabilize its price range as of now which is good to engage with it and im thankful too on those free money that it gives on me back in august 1 and that particular week. Its not a joke but one thing here that it cant surpass bitcoin no matter what.
7810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: August 12, 2017, 08:07:48 AM
Talking about dice or other games, no any skill or strategy will work so I don't think using AI for this will make any difference. On the other hand yes card games like poker requires some skill and strategy but majority of time luck plays an important role, so even if AI will play poker or other card games than impact might be way lower than what we might speculate.
There is nothing like magic in this world. everything depends upon how far we can observe predict and analyze. In dice or other such games, its not like that the players play around without giving a thought.

Before making even little decisions like , people think whether they realize it or not. Our brain keeps on thinking and making decisions without us realizing most of them. Nothing is purely luck based. May be I am wrong but I believe AI in this field will also get the winner's tag.
Well its your own point of view and theres nothing wrong with that we cant be sure if AI would really have the chance on making patters on completely random games like dice.I cant think of that you can possible outmatch the house even that open ai gambling bot because hashes are random computing would really be somehow senseless.
7811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: August 12, 2017, 06:19:51 AM
I think both of them have the same risk properties basically, i can't tell which one is more risky because both are the same depending on the luck we have. All bets things gambling has the same risk, and luck is very in priority.
Yes, they are both risky but if you do try to dig in deep and you will able to see the level of risk on both things which you can really eventually say that casino bets are more riskier than on sports betting. If you do see that sports betting is riskier then im sure you dont have an idea on how to play or make bets on it since you can able to say such thing, sports betting would be all random and riskier if you really dont know on what you are doing.
7812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 12, 2017, 05:31:48 AM
Mcgregor is super underdog with that fight since we used to see him fighting in UFC and the gloves is much more lighter than the boxing gloves and also his stamina will fall since the rules is on boxing and he is not comfortable to fight for so long. And I will not be surprised if Mayweather will nailed it since he can dominate inside the boxing ring.
We cant still be sure on the result of this fight but seeing on the advantages in stamina i would really go for Mayweather and we can really compare it since UFC fighting isnt really too much when it comes on fight duration and rounds which we cant see on boxing.  If the game would based really on boxing style then Floyd would really have the edge. Fight is fast approaching i cant wait anymore.
7813  Economy / Economics / Re: transition FIAT to DIGITAL? on: August 12, 2017, 04:08:34 AM
how will people adapt change from FIAT CURRENCY to DIGITAL CURRENCY like BITCOIN? Huh
It happens already for how many years already since bitcoin have existed there are people do already make some transitions from local fiat to digital currency until now because theres a high trust on this coin which people do really decide to switch into digital currency from local fiat but not completely because we do know bitcoin still isnt accepted worldwide and do have still limitation regarding on legalization but well its still good because we can use as it is.
7814  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: August 10, 2017, 07:08:36 PM
I think i'm really addicted into gambling, i already lost so much money and bitcoin on gambling but yet i still gambling. There's once when i receive my salary after a month work, i use it all into gambling and bam it's gone and i even still comeback to gambling until now, i don't know it's really hard to stop gambling.
Then you are a totally an addicted in playing gambling ,you need to make ypurself busy to forget gambling and your salary per month give it to your parents or wife for you to not be able to use it in gambling. Gambling is not easy to stop especifically in terms of addicted on playing you need a big motivation and a big reason to stop your hobby.
Thats bad since you are already compromising your money/salary in playing gambling and instead on using it for your family you would use it on gambling which is really a dumb thing to do and just as expected if you are already an addicted gambler you will surely do such thing. In my situation i can say im not an addicted gambler because i can able to control my pocket.
7815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: August 10, 2017, 05:28:25 PM
Well if you are like a businessman and aim high then you will definitely put that money into something which gives you regularly returns but if you are going the easy way and wants to enjoy your life in each possible way then buy something cool stuff which you will not buy if it was your salary.

I bought samsung note 5 with the money that I won in gambling as I feel that spending them on things is much better choice then wasting that money again in gambling as spending money on productive things is a better option to make then loosing it in gambling.
Its better to buy things that would really be resourceful than on spending those money again on gambling site and losing them again. Its more valuable to see the things physically and would really be worth of. Just like mine i do buy smartphone a motorcycle and a laptop and those things are essential on my daily living which isnt really bad at all.
7816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: August 10, 2017, 04:45:08 PM
I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be say bad things about it * which is fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grew, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

How about you guys? What are the benefits you get from Gambling?

But, I highly suggest not to become addict to this industry.

I believe it depends on how the player react everytime they lose a game or money from playing gambling games.  You are lucky you are able to wake up and fix yourself from addiction.  I also agree that gambling have some sort of benefits but people overlooked this benefits in exchange of winning money.  They are blinded by greed, even those who just played to entertain themselves find themselves being hooked due to the promise of possible huge amount of winning.
You maybe have a lot money, that's why it doesn't matter for you if you lose in the games. Well, anyway for me it gives me amusement in that way it relieves me in my stress even I gambled in small amount of bitcoin. I think that's the benefit I could could get in gambling even I do it very seldom.

Rich Kiddo's doesn't really care for the money they've lost on gamblings but I'm sure that they will be upset for the result of their lost but they can recover faster since they can  grab some capital for their self easily, But if you imagine and scale all things happening on these things well im so sure that we cannot get any benifits on this eventhough we can spend thousands of bucks since at the end of the day we still lost our money from betting.

They dont really care for the money but there would really be a time that he would surely feel those loses later on specially when he realized that the money on his pockets have been decreasing. On this gambling world no matter how rich you are you will still really feel the pain on losing specially on big amounts already.
7817  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: August 10, 2017, 03:46:18 PM
First of all I would like to make remark on 2007 World Crisis, when whole world was suffering from huge financial illness, Asian countries especially India were almost untouched from it. So we can say America is no longer the only leader of global economy.
Now coming to Bitcoin, no doubt if countries start recognising the importance of Bitcoin and maintain their reserves in it, they would never see the crisis phase again. It will help countries to eliminate internal recession where reserves value may enhance without any increase in productivity.
We do see this importance on bitcoin and possibilities of the things that might be considered to be used into bitcoin but i would really bet that they wont be interested on this matter. They wont really decide to use this as a tool since they do really have high beliefs on the capacity of their own currency without depending on this virtual currencies.
7818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: August 10, 2017, 03:04:32 PM
No way to determine if it is your lucky day or not. I can't even understand when to know if it is my lucky day. I guess it is just happening all of the sudden. You really can't identify if you are lucky on this day or for the next day. What I can assure if I were on the winning streak I guess that tells me that I'm on a good shot and I'm quite lucky for that day.
We will never know unless we try, being lucky is just a feeling that we felt whenever were happy or that moment when we gets something we're not expecting. And so in gambling since there's no guarantee in winning when we win it really felt like a lucky day. Since it can't happen everyday.

Yes it will be the only way to know if we are in the lucky days or we are lucky. Because we will never know if we never try. But you have to take the risk if you want to find out if you are lucky, it's like you will just gamble like the normal days as becoming lucky will just happen to you suddenly without any notice.

Lol. Gambling to know whether you're lucky or not is quite foolish i think. When you gamble, you should already be expecting that you're luck won't be there. Have plans to execute if you're out of luck on a certain day. Don't rely heavily on the belief that you're going to be lucky eventually.
Having this kind of beliefs or confidence will surely put you on trouble later on and you will surely go home crying losing out all of your money. No one could able to predict or know on when would luck would come to them in fact we would able to say such thing that we are lucky when we are already winning but knowing it before its really an impossible thing to happen.
7819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: August 10, 2017, 02:03:03 PM
I also don't know when is the best time to leave gambling, it's really hard to leave gambling when you lose so much money and bitcoin on gambling. When you come back to gambling and your mission is to winning back all your loses on gambling, but it's not success and your loses become worse.

Agreed with you, it is a greed which force us to play more, but as per me if you can not afford to loose more money then its better to leave the game rather loosing more money.
Its easy to say but would really hard to do specially when you do know that you do have still money left in your pocket. You will surely presumed that you might win back those loses again if you decide to play a little bit. You will still end up on playing again if you dont really have the strong self control and awareness against it. This is really a big challenge on most gamblers.
As one user has already said, that gambling takes just as much as people plan to spend on their entertainment. So you need to take a certain amount, and leave everything else at home. So there will be no temptation to spend much more than planned.
You cant still be sure.Lets say you do leave your money at home but this case would really be based on how addicted you are on playing gambling because there are instances that those money on the house would really be not safe at all and you will still possible get those money and play again because you are confident enough that you do have still money to play on.
