8681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: January 05, 2017, 11:11:13 AM
Gambling investment is zero or negative sum, considering the house has to profit.

So why are you guys do bitcoin gambling as an investment instruments? OR merely just for the fun, like going to a physical casino.

I for myself, i dont treat gambling as an investments, the moment your start gambling your return is not guaranteed while investments (trading) we expects some results and win or loose we still have the % of our Capital
If you play or spend your money in playing gambling its not really an investment but just a pure entertainment but when the time you put your money on the casinos bank roll then its already considered as an investment and you have a percentage profits on house earnings but we cant guarantee anytime to receive because there are times that people who are lucky which could able to make negative profits on a gambling site.
8682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Bitcoin price on: January 04, 2017, 03:15:41 PM
Hello Bitcoin lovers!

Where I can bet on BTC price? I don't mean "What will be BTC price by the end of 2016,2017 etc?" bets. I would like to bet on quick changes of BTC price (dollars).

Thank you!

Why you not go play or trading on some website that had trading platform,. And you will pick any price there like betting and dont use any technical analytic at the time you trade at any price..

there are a site which is giving an opportunity for us to predict the price of bitcoin and we can make a bet but unfortunately i am forgot the name of the site. so if the price is up and we make a bet for the increasing of the price then we can collect the amount of bitcoin but if not, then we only loss our money for increasing of the price.
i think the prediction of bitcoin is depend on the new about bitcoin, if you have good information and updates about bitcoin then you can really predict about bitcoin in a good way. but if you have no sound information then your prediction may not be so good.
I think predicting on bitcoin price is bit tough, I never tried this I just assume the price that's it. But exactly I don't know where to get this information. The mate said there is the perticular site for this information, please share that site name it will be helpful for us. And yes without proper knowledge betting on Bitcoin is not safe.
I wont believe such thing because no one in this world knows the price of bitcoin in the future and related to its movement. No one really knows that what makes it hard.Going back to OP's queries hes searching for binary option trading because hes betting on the price movement.

Believe it or not it is your friend. And also it is indeed the future is not something that we can guess right or appropriate, for the future is the will of God and we cannot be determined. But of all that we know can not properly, could give a positive impact to make us become a more vibrant and has a best plan in order to have the best life. As you can see, that there is a reason he gave an opinion about the price of the bitcoin because now this number of users more and more and now there are several companies that got interested with good

Well if we are talking on the price of bitcoin then theres no argument on that since we already noticing and do feel the bitcoins adoption is increasing because the price tends to move upwards now and even we surpass already on the $1k price point and still we are moving on a rally.
For OP,i know some binary options that relates to bitcoins price you may try secondstrade and if you want to try out another like commodities you could try on FJ.

8684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamling with a high risk and high rewards or low risk and low rewards? on: January 04, 2017, 11:45:10 AM
If you are a gambler and have 2 option :
1. Put your money in high risk game with high rewards.
2. Put your money in low risk game with low rewards.
Then which one you choose?

I chose low rewards. Thus you can gamble longer before you bust. Gambling is fun so I like it to be longer. Putting your money in high risk game has no sense if you are not going to make money with gambling which IMO is reasonable.

I will choose the low risk low reward too. Even if I had a chance to put high bet and win, I am sure I will come back to gamble again. And I do believe that one day I will lose all my money if I use the high risk high reward method very often. With the low risk low reward method, even we lose we can cover it by doing other stuffs that can be found here in this forum.
are we here talking about how your gambling style?
people will choose to bet low amount at low risk at first time they gamble .
but once they got a lot of experience they will simply prefer to gamble allin to get big return rather than wasting time.

How can we be sure that "all in" will give you a big return even if you are an experienced gambler? I don't think it is so simple. Also I've heard much more about gambling addicts who constantly lose everything than about experienced gamblers who win and make their living from gambling.

I think my gambling looks like "wasting time" from outside but at least I'm not losing money of my family with it.
"All in" could really give you decent profits but results are really not guaranteed thats why most people do really experience huge loss of money and thats the time they would chase their loses and betting big amounts will surely continue.Im playing gambling but i didnt tend do all in because its just like suicide and i cant afford to lose huge money in an instant.
8685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and gambling on: January 04, 2017, 07:51:38 AM
Just other members said here it wont really affect too much on gambling even how high would be the bitcoins price because the amount would be still equivalent to the previous plays it may shows huge numbers on bitcoin value but it depends on the gambler on how much would he bet equivalent on USD value.
8686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your best luck and worst luck gambling experience? on: January 04, 2017, 05:36:27 AM
I have my best luck but it didn't happened here in bitcointalk or in any gambling site but it happened in real life casino. When I was playing poker in a casino together with my friend who is actually a professional poker player so I let him sit on my table and let him play my $1,000 worth of chips since that is already late at night, I need to sleep and check into their hotel. And when I woke up, boom he did made to win it up to $5,000 but it didn't happened again because that is the last day we met for he needs to go to a trip to US for the upcoming week.
Wow thats a very lucky day for you mate and your friend managed to win 5x on your bankroll and thats really a good win for both of you. This event is also called gambling experience and theres no exception on that.In my experience i didnt win too big amounts on playing gambling because i dont bet big amounts maybe i made some huge money on trading but not on gambling.
8687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: January 03, 2017, 04:42:20 PM
I gambling not for money only but for entertaining people but somehow i want to earn money from gambling sometimes it is so hard for me to win i played gambling for the sake of money so maybe gambling for a living. If you can't win then don't push your self too hard.
Not only for you but everyone find it is too hard to make money in gambling, still most of the people play gambling for making money but in fact they cannot succeeded. Success in gambling only possible if we run a gambling houses.

It will not be right decision to play gambling to depend on it for living. But being a gambling house owner, I believe we can make it possible.
Most people who are playing gambling are seeking for money because they saw that gambling would give them money easily and you are right its really hard to make money on gambling because most of our bets are lose and it depends on our luck.We cant really make a living on playing gambling.
8688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your luck in 2016.? on: January 03, 2017, 03:57:42 PM
New year started and i did some calculations how much money did i won/lost last year. So, not counting money that i won on gambling sites and bust them in next few days, i lost something around 0.5BTC of my money in whole year, i would say it is acceptable lost for this kind of entertainment. What about You? How was your luck in 2016.?
Just a break even for me on which i win some decent amount and lossing some big amounts too thats why i could say its just in the middle and i dont really minding on it because on playing gambling i just play for entertainment and if i lose some money then move on and dont try to murmur on the loses.Hopefuly this year would be good to me and might be lucky for now.
8689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Think Is a Fair Investment Profit? on: January 03, 2017, 02:46:12 PM
If we are talking about realistic profit returns on monthly basis then 10-15% is already good for me and you are right those investments who promises high returns on a short period of time are mostly scams and its a good thing that you already know about those schemes which you will be putted in the safer side.Investments is the best way to make profits but we should be careful enough on choosing it,10-20% or even more is possible on crypto trading.

It's got to be a new record on a fraud verification, 4 days and they finally approved the withdrawal, stating that they found no issues with the game and no fraudulent behavior in my play.  LMAO, Oh and they apologized for the delay. ;P Well at least I finally got my winnings and am happy for that.  Thanks to all of you who valiantly tried to assist in any way you could with this I appreciate all of your help immensely.

8691  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE COMPROMISED on: January 03, 2017, 12:34:48 PM
Someone recently lose his Bitcoin too but not in primedice but in rollin.io he was using seuntjie bot then suddenly all his bitcoin was withdrawn to an unknown address. this is the link where he opened that topic. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307425.1780

My guess is malware since both the person just created an account in the dice site and passwords are both unique. Or try to check your emails they might have an access to your email because sometimes in bitcoin world we only use 1 email address.
I think Seuntjie bot site was compromised today and i hope it is recovered now.
To the OP prime dice is not compromised but you might have used an infected script .Sorry to hear about your loss.

This is very possible, if the bots were compromised our fund is in danger, I perfer playing by myself, not the bot.
If PD denied the said lost funds then this thing would be possible on which OP might tried those scripts on which it steals account balance on PD because i cant think of such other thing other than having a malware on the pc but if theres none then the closest possible is the script.imho
8692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hmm, a local billionaire in a small town is backing the Pepsi to Bitcoin's Coke on: January 02, 2017, 05:27:08 PM
Not for nothing, but litecoin is the decarbonated, shitty store brand cola, sitting on the shelf expired with a half-inch of dust to bitcoin's Coca-Cola.

There is only one true crypto, and that is bitcoin.

There are two types of cryptos: Bitcoin and shitcoins.

Everything that isn't Bitcoin is a cute little project or nothing more than a meme. Bitcoin is the only crypto out there, at this point in time, with a legitimate, prosperous future decades down the road.
No altcoin would really compete on bitcoins supremacy regarding here on cryptoworld and those shitcoins cant stand a chance no matter what.Reading back on OP i dont think soo that LTC would able to break even with bitcoin because of that news.It would really takes time before that thing happens to LTC.imho
8693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Delayed Withdrawal Runaround on: January 02, 2017, 05:03:44 PM
~snip~

It's not the first time I've heard of this on FJ and I'm sure not the last but I am doubtful they won't eventually get that withdrawal processed. I agree more information should be given about the delays though. Give us an update when you know more!

14 BTC is actually a high amount and probably that it needs to be double checked, plus boxx you know that today is holiday so their staff probably isnt working and it might take a while for them to check this thing however if you actually know alot of this had happened in the past then you know that in the end they will pay the winners as well , cheers  Smiley

You know I would have in the past been apt to agree and not have any problem with a delay in order to verify, that is until now.  First told by support 24 hours that was on Friday the 30th at 20:00 site time, then told 48 hours that was on Saturday night, it is now coming up on 72 hours and still nothing, not one email, not one phone call, not one chat initiated while I'm logged in (other then the chats I have initiated).  I can see 24 hours, even possibly 48 if a major issue, over 70 is just plain poor business practice and terrible customer support.  I even requested to speak to someone in management regarding this issue and was told "No" by support on chat.  When I stated I was filing a complaint and that I had posted my concerns on bitcoin-talk I was told that I was being threatening and then the support agent disconnected the chat and refused to answer any further attempts to make contact with her.  What kind of help desk model is that?  What kind of business leaves no way of escalating issues and resolving/repairing problems for 3 days when their business is open?  What kind of customer services tells a customer they may not speak to management regarding a issue and then refuses to even communicate with the customer because of false staements regarding threats?  What kind of business violates its own posted Terms & Conditions and implements a policy that is only known to exist by them and refuses to share any information regarding this non mentioned policy in any way with the customer who is being effected by it?  What type of business refuses to communicate with the customer in regards to the issue but instead appears to hide all information instead?  What kind of business advertises as a primary feature "Instant Withdrawals" but then does not do it?

I've been a loyal customer for over a year never complaining or reviewing how they take my funds when I consistently lost and they profited from me, now they decide to treat me poorly and delay and say nothing while violating their own sites rules.  My opinion of FotuneJack has been severely affected by this and how they have chosen to not handle it in the most extreme negative. Angry
There would really be delays regarding on their withdrawals because i do experience it too and they say that there is a maintenance that causes the delay and we should not directly jump to negative feedbacks on just a single scenario or delay. We all know that FJ is one of the most reputable gambling site that still operates until now.We should have patience regarding on this since we are just starting on a new year and as mentioned above maybe staffs and supports do still celebrating their holidays and it would goes back to normal for sure.

You are obviously biased Oilacris, Just to break down the garbage you posted...
More than a few minutes is too long 70 hours needs a solid apology, what maintenance are you referring to? gabarage even so, Bad management.
This is not a single scenario, A few people have posted here and elsewhere that their withdrawals have been delayed for over 24 hours, Which is very bad.
The new year is when they should be the most efficient, there are many people around the world who don't celebrate NYE again if this is a excuse, Bad management!
What about the player who chooses to celebrate NYE with a relaxing gamble and wins, But really loses when he has to endure this ordeal of waiting for his funds and terrible treatment? Bad management!

I had BTC3 I was saving for when fortunejack apologised to this player and reassured bitcointalk that their withdrawal system has been fixed and all withdrawals will be process in under 24 hours, Now I will take my BTC to a sportsbook instead. I am annoyed because I like playing there, But gamblers need to stand for their rights and not accept being treated like rubbish!

Its not a garbage and im not biased im just stating on the situation that i have experience with them and might you are correct on some point that withdrawal process should not exceed 24 hours because they already claimed that they have fastest deposit and withdrawal.I dont know whats the real problem and as far as i know when i chat to their support they just say that they have maintenance,so where the bias on that? We couldnt do anything about it and Staff of FJ should really pay attention on this matter because people now are starting to complain on this issue.
8694  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE COMPROMISED on: January 02, 2017, 02:37:20 PM
the password is definitely unique to this site.

there can be many possibilites why
most common are:
1.low password difficulty, some passwords can be bruteforced in under 1 hour
2.your machine is infected
3.you clicked links in chat or downloaded a script,"hash cracker" or a "100% winning script"
4.you gave your API to somebody else

it is not the first time I hear stories like that, coins just disappear from accounts
in 99.999% of the cases it is the user who is at fault
also if you bet high amounts of money, use 2fa
maybe you can check the tx and trace the thief, ask support for his ip hash and session details...but I doubt you will get your money back

You know... Why if it's not?

I mean it happened to me aswell and ONLY on PD.
I'm not accusing them of course because I have 0 formal proof.

But neither you have when you say user is at fault.
What if PD is actually taking the funds from time to time, making everyone believe that it's user fault?

Again that's not an accusation! It might have been just me and every user to whom it happened that had a technical issue or a virus or... Something.

But in the same way it could have been PD ^^
The only thing I know is that I stopped playing here and it never happened anywhere else...
You have a point though and those assumptions would be possible because anytime the house could give an excuse regarding on the situation.I dont have the right to give conclusions but the possibilities are there and same as yours i do believe in such thing that PD is the only one could able to take funds from their users since OP said that hes a programmer and developer and uses strong password and having a clean pc.

They don't necessarily have to be directly involved in a scam to take the blame. It's their duty to protect their users. So, if multiple people are getting rigged only on this site, they are exposed and have a security loophole. They have to take the responsibility and investigate thoroughly and provide the users with a guarantee that something like this wont repeat.

People who are saying that it didn't happen to you since 3-4 years, you never know, you could be next. Till yesterday, I was endorsing PD in my signature and this happens to me.
I'm not blaming them directly i just stated on some possibilities and you got have a point on which PD should take actions on this kind of scenarios because people will surely lost its trust when this thing would still continue in the future. Some people would really say nothing about this matter since they didnt experience it but if the time comes when that lost funds on their account they would probably say the same thing too.

8697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 01, 2017, 03:20:31 PM
Being a gambler would be a shameful thing if you were in a place where gambling is illegal or not good and you share your gambler status to others and make people know that you're a gambler. And indeed it is normal that you be embarrassed if others knew you were a gambler places where gambling is illegal. Unless you're a person who has no shame, there would be no matter what happens.

It's not only about legality. Gambling is a legal thing where I live, but still it can be shameful if you gamble away the money your faminly needs to pay bills and to buy food and stuff. Also even if you don't spend a penny on gambling but play for free only, it can be shameful if you spend most of your free time on gambling. People around you need your attention so it's better to be with them than to gamble your time away behind the computer screen.

Yes very true, humans are social beings, and we as human beings have to make good relationships with other people, with the people around. Our life is outside, the outside world is our life, we can do anything outside. Instead of sitting in a chair padded mu with a little snack at your computer desk and gambled in front of a computer screen. It's not something that should be done by humans, humans were not created for it. Anyone who lives like that should be embarrassed.
It still does depend on a person on how he utilize its social part because there are people would rather choose to play in front of a pc rather than playing it outside. For me,its really enjoyable to play gambling on outside because you could able to boost up your social skills and relation among other people.Theres no need to embarassed anybody since they do have the free will to choose on where they play.

Yup, everyone will surely prefer to remain at home if it is indeed in the House they can do anything that can be done outside the home. Because most of the people will certainly choose to be near to his family. But it all does have risks, because they are doing is gambling. So if they can control themselves then it is not a problem but if it can't then it will be a big problem and their families one home with him could get a bad life

Big problem wont really exist if you do control yourself on playing too much gambling its either you go out or stay at your home.If you do have the control and discipline problems wont really exist or happen at all on the long run thats why its the most important thing should be realized first when you tend to play gambling.
Well honestly they are not thinking for their future before they gamble just like me that in the end i am regret when i was lose a lot in gambling i just attracted by many methods that your self can be push to invest and gamble and following methods by others .. if you lose you will chase all of your loses until you will be addicted in the end i realized that gambling are made only for entertainment or past time purposes.. so now i just gamble but in other game like sports betting and i decreased my gambling activity.. so that i can not be lose more and be poor in the future and not become shameful..
You are not alone because most gambler do experience the same thing too on which those aims are always present. Its really hard to avoid and its very tempting to play when someone shows off a strategy on playing gambling and you saw that he is profitable then you will be tempted and try the same thing and hoping that you would really make money but sadly it doesnt work out anytime because it does matter on luck only.Being poor because of gambling is really a shameful thing.

40 cents an hour? Mate that's not a job, that's slavery.
Not when you're living in the 3rd World Country Shithole.0.001 an hour and working 10 hours a day would make you enough money to survive a month.
This is very true and we should not look down too much on those amount because it maybe small for some but when you are living on 3rd world country you will eventually survive on that amount as Joel_Jantsen said.
To OP 0.001 isnt hard to earn on bitcoin world captcha would not really get this amount on a short period of time.I would rather focus on my skills if you do have one which is valuable on this forum.0.001 is a piece of cake,
