i'm really confused what is thr purposes of the alternative coins and how this will be invented? and what are the good benefits of this alternatuve coins?  to me i think the main reason for creating an alt coin is to provide several online services to the people, but some people are creating it for generating money and nothing else. It's definitely for online purpose, it was created to give us a very fast and cheap transaction. With bitcoin, we can also transact anonymous and it is the complete opposite of the bank, where it has been operated in a decentralized way while banks are centralized. Thats actually the main purpose why bitcoin has been created and we could able to read that on the whitepaper of bitcoin which it focuses on online money transfer transaction without any 3rd party involve like government. Which it means its total decentralized and no one would able to control it. Bitcoin could able to stand on its own without any altcoin exist. |

This is why im not really interested to see the announcement section on altcoin since almost every week or even day a new coins has been launched which really reduce my interest and most of them have the same stats or features and i dont see any coins which really interest me. Just like what happen to Zcash hype many people do invest but it didnt convinced me at all.
Yes thats true, Everyday Im here in forum I did not check the announcement section of altcoins. Because others news there was not gives me interest with to invest in. Likes Zcash coins, I thought this coin was reliable and has a good project to look forward to but I doubt it right now. Hello, i have some problem when i play dice game and i'm on betting higher amount to cover my losses, this is always the part where i'm always feel excited and nervous whenever i click roll. My heart is always beating fast and always resulting to out of control to my betting. I just want to know on how you manage on betting without feeling nervous.
This is what usually happens to me (and I assume for most others) win > win > win > LOSE a decent sized bet > TRY to recover, so bet MORE to recover that initial loss > LOSE again, MAX BET > LOSE ALL (which always happens). It's human nature to feel the way to do. Don't go into gambling trying to make money, you'll always lose in the end. Trust me. This is very true and the sequence that you mentioned do really happen on most gamblers for sure and it do really happens to me also and theres no exception as you said this is really a part of human nature does emotion do really pops out when you do experience lose in playing gambling. Yes I am ever doing so. bet on the team that I don't know. but the result is always bad, so I won't ever again bet on a team that I don't know. I'll just bet on a great team that I know and in my opinion not a good choice if you bet on a team you don't know, it's like too imposing for the win.
Its really a bad thing or idea on betting a certain team that you wont know since its like your betting on random basis without any analysis and information on such team but some people will like to bet even if they dont know. I dont like to revive those dead coins since those alts are just useless thats why they are dead and people dont have any interest on it and why we should bother to revive if no one uses it? I would not choose since i dont like those coins which are considered as dead. Sometimes the projects are great (like 8bit) but had been just screwed by the dev, 8bit is currently under active reviving, it was one of the top 10 coins with a higher value than eth, it uses darksend and masternode, and the team is great. Agree there are some coins could possibly be revived and some are really messed up by developers same as you mentioned. One thing i want to revive is RAI (Raiblocks) i just see this coins had the potential but it easily died and run only for a month because the dev left it without any announcements of the development of the coin and later on he said that he didnt able to continue because of some personal reasons. |

I think everyone has a different mindset. I was hoping to win from gambling and can become rich, but I realized that gambling only game so it can not made rich. I gamble just for fun because I like to play gambling such as poker, blackjack and sports betting. Because I like to play the games I consider gambling as entertainment for fun. So I do not think to be rich in gambling because it is only for entertainment.
I sometimes save my winning in gambling if I'm want to need some money, but I always use my winnings amount to gamble again. But if the amount of the deposit bitcoin I finished that I used to gamble, I quit gambling and back again a couple of weeks.

This is the kind of gambling game which i really hates a lot because chances of winning is very slim compared to dice and other games. I do easily lose up my money fast when i play slot games.Lets say i bet of play for 10 bets out of it i do only win for 1 - 2x only which is really frustrating and such a waste of money and it does really need luck in able to win and i think most people would say the same thing too.
Seems we have the same reason for hating, because I cannot find my luck with slot games that's I totally forget slot games and manage to gamble with dice game and sports betting. As still majority of the people of the world do not know about bitcoin, and the users of bitcoin are continuously increasing, because the popularity of bitcoin is increasing every day, people are now getting confidence on bitcoin therefore they are investing their assets here, so the demand of bitcoin is increasing which increase the price of bitcoin. Hope that when all the people of the world will start using bitcoin as currency then bitcoin will become more stable. Exactly, many people do not know about bitcoin, since this year is i think more people or users know it than last few years, thats the reason maybe why the price more became higher value. Because the price depends the user, thats why, the more people uses bitcoin, the higher value of the price we can get. Totally depends on the day and how much money I have. I Generally like to bet 0.1btc and try to make it 0.25 ish in a few days time but, Ive also bet 1 btc or more a few times.
Same here it really depends on how much money do i have on my wallet but i dont bet big amounts like as you do since i cant really afford to lose up money even on 0.1 btc per day which is im really scared to risk too much 0.01 is much better and i do bet on this maximum amount since i dont earn too much bitcoin nowadays and i do save for future use. |

Sorry if not clear, but what I meant is whether we can envision funding and operating major projects such as airport or hotel, using blockchain technology? It's clear that the current application of clockchain is mainly limited to Finance but there are several other PoC underway by enteprises for other possible applications. Can this be one?

I think you are saying about create and build an airport or hotel using BTCs... It would be a big project and many BTCs would be spent to concretize this idea, I'm not sure someone would be interested in using Bitcoins for an idea like this now, the flutuations in the coin price are still big and frequently, to invest on something like this the coin used should something more stable like dollar. But as Bitcoin is money, someday someone could try to realize a big project like this using Bitcoin. I dont think so that anyone could able to jump on the risk regarding in bitcoin and they would really not tend to do this project and as you mentioned it will really need bitcoin to implement this idea. They cant able to handle the risk for sure since they know that bitcoins price is too volatile to consider. |
