7881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 07, 2017, 07:32:00 AM
No your right but for some reason I feel this post will be entombed in posterity for and looked on as the before times someday.
In other words either this fee will be seen as really cheap someday in the future presuming we can't consensus or someone will smile and remember the olden days when fees were this high for a bit ^^.
The joke is now were looking like banking ... limited amount of txns ...

That's exactly right, in many instances it's actually more expensive than using the bank.

In Coinbase, I went to send myself .01 BTC and the fee was 0.000542 BTC which is currently $0.86

Seconded, Ive been using coinbase for a year as far as I remember since I do really love to make transfers without any fees but now they are imposing fees which I do really understand but considering on the amount of fee I really see it that its already high.It might be $0.86 small for some but for me I consider it big but I don't have no choice but to pay-up in able to transfer funds.
7882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 36 hours still unconfirmed on: May 06, 2017, 07:29:54 AM

This is total horsecrap.  Angry

I've tried the viabtc accelerator route but so far they haven't mined a block yet.
ViaBTC have no economic incentive to accelerate your transaction so all they have is an agenda to increase their popularity among people who are too stingy to set a normal fee for their transaction.

If you're using any normal wallet, you can choose your fee, and it should be set to the current recommended fee or higher.  In its current state, Bitcoin is not for quick confirmations.
I don't know why people do always believe on that ViaBtc accelerator I do think they can affect to fasten up the confirmation of a certain transaction.I have tried it once but still confirmation took so long but well I strongly believe because of the build up of unconfirmed transactions on the network if you try to see it as of my writing its almost 180k.
7883  Economy / Exchanges / Re: C_CEX awfully slow to handle withdraw problem on: May 05, 2017, 05:30:06 AM
As far as I can see I've done nothing wrong with my C-CEX account, yet my attempt to withdraw XtraBYtes (XBY) funds is in vain! I have been collecting many screenshots of attempts to communicate with C_CEX support and the only thing happening is a robot answer stating
Quote
"Wallet is on maintenance now. Please, wait until we finish and we will be able to resolve this issue after that"
Huh
Yea! sure. Maintenance of an account certainly does not take over 24 hours. C_CEX was lightning fast to accept my funds when I filled up my account with my precious bitcoins. They are not so willing to let my have my money back now! Also, even after two messages to support, I still get the exact word for word automated answer. They apparently cannot do anything until the account is out of maintenance status.  I can understand that they are getting uncountable support request and that they have to resort to automated robotic reply system to keep up but that is not a way to handle my XBY portfolio.
C_CEX is not an exchange it is a gimmick to hold on your funds while making profit. At least that is what transpire from the behavior. Dont juge a person on his words but on his actions.
I want my funds C_CEX! What are you doing ?  And dont accuse me of not asking, I have sent you 2 support requests so far in the last 24 hours.    A suggestion anyone ?
Sorry to hear that thing happen into you but its still just on 24 hours and isn't too long for waiting time.Give them sometime to complete the maintenance and maybe they are really doing it.Just keep on the track on contacting them until a support responds-not a bot.If this situation would come out on days then that's the time you would really make some accusations.
7884  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can a bitcoin transaction be traced from one wallet to another? on: May 05, 2017, 04:49:15 AM
Hi. I have two online wallets. I imagine both of these companies keep logs. If I was to send a bitcoin payment from one of my wallets, to another wallet, is it ever possible to link these 2 wallets up? If both accounts were looked at, would somebody be able to see that a specific payment had been sent from one wallet to the another?
Most of the time,it can really be traced when you do send bitcoin from wallet A to B yes its traceable but still anonymous because no one still knows whos holding behind on that wallet. If you are worried about that then you shouldn't.There are some online wallet (web wallets) cant be traced up just like on using exchange wallets because they are using one wallet and if you try to send btc to that wallet,it wont really show the origins wallet address. This is what I do observe.
7885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's to mine ZCASH with? on: May 05, 2017, 04:11:45 AM
One thing that is appealing about a 6 x 1080 Ti rig is that once your ROI is over you can bring in some really sweet profit every year after that. They will also be worth mining with for a good number of years since they're the current top end GPU. The resale value will be excellent also. It's a steep price to pay up front, but I think it's worth it in the long haul. Currently you can bring in over $11,000.00 a year after power costs with a single rig. That's an appealing prospect.
If you do have the money to spent on 1080 ti then It would be the most suited GPU for mining zcash not only on this one but most of Coins that is possible to mine with GPU but considering on the amount or price of that gpu isn't really cheap at all.For now I have Rx 470 but I do have still some doubts on mining zcash I don't know where to set-it up.
7886  Economy / Gambling / Re: MegaDice.com - 0.9% edge Dice, 26 High End Slots, Bet on the House on: May 05, 2017, 03:16:27 AM
From the previous posts I found that this issue is already clarified by the owner and they have provided all the answers of all the questions regarding the questions like that. Is not that non sense to ask the same questions again and again?

From what the developers have said is that it has new owners but for some reason it uses the same old cold storage as Satoshidice. So if this is true. No idea if the funds in the Cold storage are safe since they have the private key for it.

So they can easily run off with those funds... unless its the same owners... but they say its not.

You aren't the only one confused.

It's pretty bad to know that their are new owners already but the cold storage remained the same. That's a pretty bad security risk they have there. Probably this is why there have been quite a lot of buzz surrounding satoshidice and this new megadice having fraudulent actions lately. Best to do is totally just avoid it for now until everything is clear.
Satoshidice or Megadice should really say something about this so that the public wont really be confused which is true or not.If hey are sharing the same wallet then the risk is high unless if it has the same owner and also I do read some screenshots on an email from megadice that they are claiming that its a rebranded website came from satoshidice.
7887  Economy / Gambling / Re: MegaDice.com - 0.9% edge Dice, 26 High End Slots, Bet on the House on: May 04, 2017, 04:15:23 PM
We've been having an issue with some email providers rejecting our transactional emails. This means that sign-up, password recovery and withdrawal confirmation emails never reached the recipients. Different email providers have different rejection settings and we can't know exactly what made them reject our emails. We have corrected several host and DNS settings that affect email deliverability and at the time we're writing this, it seems that emails arrive directly into the inbox of all big providers. If you're having problems receiving emails from us, please let us know!
It good that you are taking action regarding on this issue because this is one of the most important component of a site which is the communication either on outgoing or ingoing emails between the site and its players. Please do make updates if its totally fixed. Just been said providers do have different rejection settings, therefore what would be the best fix on this one? Use another email which normally operates on your side?
7888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mineable VS Not Mineable on: May 04, 2017, 03:56:58 PM
Premine is good because it saves everyone electricity and besides we all know everyone here cannot afford high spects hardwares to mine a coin, but the coin should have good value in the future and people behind that projects are indeed good in adding more features and updates.
it is correct if the project really got a good intention and the people behind are people who really care about there project but if not i guess premined will ruined the the project as we already seen a lots of scam coins that only dev benefits and quit after selling their holdings,.
This actually depends on its devs, premine is really good to save up expenses but further results will really depend on dev.If their aims just to end up scam then you cant do anything about it but you still end up on holding shit coins. Mineable coins aren't guaranteed that they will not end scam that's why its really important for us to see its developers regarding on its transparency specially on the roadmap and don't forget about Escrowed funds which is most important thing specially on ICO's.
7889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining on: May 03, 2017, 05:18:22 PM
If I do really have the money I would really go on bitcoin mining by purchasing asic miners since electricity cost on my place is somehow cheap which can somehow assure guaranteed roi if rigs wont bust out but I end up only on gpu mining which I can say still profitable depends on gpu you used and what coins you do mine.
7890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 03, 2017, 04:38:56 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

i already quit my day job after a year of dealing with trading using those known alts that keeps on fluctuating the more you focus and put your time looking for the possibilities how the trade moves you will able to gain success, its just another way to earn coming from your bitcoin activity and if you assess it right bitcoin will be a good way as an alternatives as source of income.
That's a tough decision of yours on switching full time with bitcoin if it that thing would be my case I would really hesitate since I cant think off on ways on earning decent amounts on bitcoin rather than that I just treat it as an additional source of income for I have a day stable job and when I do have free time I do make some micro jobs on bitcoin in able to earn some satoshis.
7891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earn money with lending btc?! on: May 03, 2017, 02:31:07 PM
You can fetch a better rate by lending bitcoins on this forum. People get a rate as high as 3%-7% per week which is better and you can lend people with a good reputation to ensure the borrower is trustworthy.

I also buy/sell altcoins with my btc and earn a good profit. I bought ETH when the price was 0.03 and now the price reached 0.06. It's much better than lending money.
This is a nice diversion instead on going to lend or use your money on poloniex better to go solo when you tend to build lending service and as just said you can possibly earn even more here on this forum but be sure on selecting legit guys over here because there are lots of scammers lurking.Lending business is profitable but the risk is very high but if you can handle it well and manage it with ease then there would be no problem at all.
7892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does poloniex load fast for you? on: May 03, 2017, 01:10:40 PM
Compare to bittrex

I prefer to use bittrex, although polo has better graphs, feature but

Poloniex has one major issue which is it the site always freeze, i cannot let it run on tab if i don't need it, it will just freeze there.

Any solution for this?

Thanks

yes it loads slower compared to bittrex in my personal experience. and i disagree about charts, bittrex has way better charts than polo. you can not draw any line or do any analysis on polo's charts (not that i am doing it but bittrex has it Tongue)

as a solution there is a little option down below the orderbook (not sure about exact place) which is called delay update. click it and select a bigger interval and that should reduce the activity and possibly make things faster and not freeze.

+1 that definitely does help things, they also have the "group listings" option that thins out the order book as well.  I don't usually have trouble with Poloniex, but when it does slow down its during peak hours, when there are 1000's of bitcoin worth of assets changing hands in under an hour.

I would agree that you can do more with Bittrex's charts, but I have always found Polo's to be more user friendly
If you are a trader which do make always use on plotting trend lines or any kind of lines then bittrex would really suit on your needs but in terms of user friendliness poloniex does have it.We are just saying the same experiences and comments on their features and accessibility but talking about loading times I can say they don't have really difference at all because they both load fast on me.
7893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Compressed version of blockchain for new users? on: May 03, 2017, 12:05:28 PM
Good evening,

I've just gotten back into BTC. Is there a way to get the blockchain in a compressed form rather than spend the full 100GB on my data? I suffer from slow speeds and bad bandwidth caps in my part of Australia. Is there another solution? Or do I have to bite the bullet?
Its not possible and I have the same thing on my mind too in the past which I do seek for a compressed form of whole blockchain but I failed and now I don't have any choice but to download it and same as yours I do have a very slow internet connection and believe it or not I finished my download for about 1 week of continuous downloading without any breaks but still worth it on the wait because I can now use my wallet Smiley
7894  Other / Archival / Re: True Flip - Become a shareholder of world's largest blockchain lottery on: May 02, 2017, 04:46:22 PM
At least i do not think you are the largest lottery atm.
It's a good system at all and it really looks good, but the concept isn't friendly to understand.
We will see how many will use this in future.
Nope, its really understandable even though its not really user friendly at all but if you are a techy guy you would easily catch it up.As far as I know there are lots already who made an attempt on having a lottery online based on Bitcoin but seems all have failed and didn't pursue their projects because of lacking interest on the public. This site do have transparency and well designed but interest of people would really matter here most.
7895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC.com Be Trusted? on: May 02, 2017, 03:10:54 PM
BTC.COM is re-branded website of Blocktrail.com and I'm sure that they can be trusted. But I don't think that wallet listing on Bitcoin.org can't be main criteria to decide is it wallet trustable or not. Bitcoin.org have listed most centralized bitcoin wallets like Xapo or Coinbase which are known for locking users funds, asking for personal documents and etc, but they removed most popular online wallet Blockchain.info for some unknown ''security problems''.
If they delist or removed it from the site then for sure there would really be a reason on why it has been done.I agree BTC.com is a re-branded website of blocktrail since I do know the history of it once I'm a user of that one.You cant do anything about it if they would like to list those wallets that you mentioned since its the most popular as of now even if they have issues in their service.
7896  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC38 on: May 02, 2017, 02:07:23 PM
It is first time I hear about BTC38 service, more review needed here regarding BTC38 service!
Likewise its my first time to hear of BTC38 exchange which I don't know if they are legit or not that's why I would like to advice for you op better to review its service and seek for feedbacks about them.If you do have problems on withdrawals seems you are asking about it then we should be aware in that case.I would like to ask,why we do really need to use unknown or unfamous site compared to those who are on the top and reputable?
7897  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Idea for a game on: May 02, 2017, 01:42:03 PM
Great. What about a MOBA game. With added wagering. As much as I know, MOBA genre is the most played games and if I am not mistaken, they are the top grossing too. By adding a wager in it. It should appear more intense while playing. The eager to win is much higher right? And, adding some of your ideas will make it bloom. This is just a simple suggestion that might work.

Wow, I have never played a MOBA but this sounds like a really good idea!

I won´t start this project alone, and this will be a team decision.

By the way, still searching for devs who wanna join me  Wink Just PM me
You would really need a team since you cant build it easily on your own and there are lots of components should really be done. You can find workers here to be part of your team just post if you are seeking for any person who have skills but I would suggest better to seek on freelancing sites because there are lots of people you can find of.Goodluck and pursue on this project and for sure this would be a hit once been launched.
7898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know of any "Popular Online Stores Accepting Bitcoin?" on: May 02, 2017, 12:47:55 PM
Hi their BCT users, Smiley

Today I would like to discussion about online Merchant/Popular stores that accept bitcoin for payment
I know of Amazon and Newegg already. Smiley If you have any experience of using bitcoin with an
popular online stores similar to what I mention above, Please share your post here with us thanks. Smiley

Not a direct payment to the company but a third party services which you can use your bitcoins to shop at some of the selected merchants globally. The list of accepted merchants are growing throughout the year.

Coins.ph have some variery of options where we can shop our saved bitcoin to some of the popular online shops. Just take it a look and add them to your list.
Coins.ph do really have the feature like this one which you can able to shop online with the use of your bitcoin but not directly on the websites have been mentioned above and as far as I know you would use purse.io before you can able to buy on amazon- correct me if I'm wrong since I do have a friend already made a transaction between the site. For now,i do only know about using bitcoin on steam wallet purchases.
7899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: somone steal btc from my wallet on: May 01, 2017, 06:20:00 PM
This happens in me someone steal my btc from my online wallet. What I did was I put 2fa since someone steal my btc, from that time I feel secured and no one got steal my btc. You should try to store it in xapo, its best wallet also.
Setting up 2fa verification is always suggested or must have because with this setting you will surely secure your wallet from any hacking attempts since they cant bypass a wallet without it specially when you do use online web wallets. Its advisable not to forget on enabling it just like mine even though I have small amounts of bitcoin better to secure it first so that no one could really steal It from you.Sorry for your loss op
7900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: lovely green to horrible red on: May 01, 2017, 04:46:13 PM
Left for work this morning and my basket of coins were greener than an english country garden, back home this evening and theres now more red on my screen than there is pixels!!

Great time to be buying though

Hmmm this scenario is just normal since you are trading after all and don't expect that you would get green anytime there would really times that you will see red when you didn't able to exit on the right time to secure profits but still when in red is the best buying time but still cant be sure if the price wouldn't stop there and go even more then will surely give you negative.Think of always on the risk
