7921  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info wallet problems on: April 26, 2017, 05:50:31 PM
My kid My spilled water on a computer. My laptop and hdd are unusable so that is the main problem, that is how i lost my private key. Sad
I can not be angry on him he is just a little boy.
And just to answer to @aarons6 it is not random, because before i login in my account i need to confirm it with my email and sms code.

Water damage will not destroy your harddrive. You can still access that harddrive on another computer or run recovery software, if you need

to recover data from that drive. In most cases only the controller card on the harddrive might have received a bit of damage and that can be

replaced. { Did your kid bath with the notebook or did he just spill some water on it? } All is not lost.... just keep the hdd.  Grin
Its not always the case since he mention about laptop and hdd on pc and laptop is different and once it is spilled with water on which comes to a point it breach the internal parts then it would be hard to recover but if it just spilled out without affecting too much inside then it can really be recovered and theres no worry on accessing again the files specially your keys. This situation is new to me which they do lock a certain wallet.
7922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 26, 2017, 05:11:00 PM
deal with it, take a rest until i really forget that i already did some mistake. i think that is better than jump again with head full of way to get my money back. i will end with loss again and i don't want that happen to me
Don't forget your mistakes, instead you have to learn from your mistakes. Taking a rest would be nice in order for you to analyze your mistakes and ensure that the next time you won't do the same mistakes again.

to learn from our mistakes is the best advice so we can fix what we are doing in the past and we can hope that it will not happen again in future. and if we can take the lesson with good, then our skills will be increase too and it help us to have more knowledge in trading and we can reach more profit in future. but its always a time before we can increase our skills and we can not rush to learn from our mistake, we need to do step by step and trying to understand what is our wrong so we can found how to fix it.
Mistakes or lose do really mold us on a better experienced traders later on and those loses are just like stepping stones on your success on doing trading because once you do commit mistakes you wont really let the thing happen into you maybe it cant be avoided to make mistakes but atleast you are committing it on minimal basis compared on the past which is a good indication that you are improving on your career.
7923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 26, 2017, 02:33:57 PM
Bitcoin will never have a stable price, because bitcoin is not regulated, and you need regulation to keep a stable price, this is basic to understand

Could you explain how regulation will make Bitcoin more stable?

After all, price is still determined by the balance of supply against demand, and as I suspect, Bitcoin is no exception to this rule. So if you basically claim that Bitcoin regulation will somehow make Bitcoin prices more stable, that necessarily means that regulation should affect supply and demand. To make prices stable both sides of this balance should increase multifold, and how exactly Bitcoin regulation is going to do that?

Indeed, a collectible can never be stable value money.  So "regulated" probably means that one can change the emission scheme (the 21 million coins) by a centralized "miner" authority, and that one can also destroy coins.

But this could also be established in another way, if a central authority lay its hands on, say 99.999% of the bitcoin supply, and only issued very very small quantities of it, it could still, with a given, fixed supply, regulate emission and hence offer, so that it meets demand at a given price totally pointless

But what's the purpose of that?

Apart from that, I don't think that it is technically possible, you could control 99% of all coins issued but would you be able to control the price? Obviously, you won't be the only one selling as well as buying, so your efforts would be mostly in vain (even if there were some purpose in that). I guess it would be like dancing on the tip of a needle. You would have to not only control most coins but also places where coins can be traded as well as those who can buy and sell. In other words, that would be an exercise in futility totally pointless
Of course you can control the price if you have most of the coins, if you want the price to go up you have to hold, if you want it to go down you just have to sell, I mean that is basically what is happening, every time big whales sell the price goes down, and that is why all people are racing to get as much as they can so that one day they can control its price.
Yes it does really give you the power to manipulate prices when you do hold most of coins then you can easily decide on when you would sell or buy  but thinking off on making us ourselves us a whales do really need huge capital or money to spend or invest such coin. We cant go back on those time which we can accumulate as much as we can specially talking to bitcoin. Its impossible for us on manipulating it even thousands of bitcoin doesn't really affect too much.
7924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price speculation on: April 26, 2017, 01:57:32 PM
Ethereum is a good cryptocurrency coin , and is still profitable at mining . You can get a decent money monthly by mining ethereum . So i think that the price will increase soon

#minexcoin.com
If you do have the money to set up mining rigs for ETH mining then its really a good investment for us people who are interested on this coin.Seeing on the upcoming news ahead do really indicates ETH would really shoots up its price because its being already adopted on some firms which really means it do really have a potential and for now I'm still holding some ETH on my wallet still waiting for the right time to sell.
7925  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Yobit scam? on: April 25, 2017, 07:03:13 PM
Ive been seeing alot of people saying its scam and then other people saying its not.
So before i want to deposit anything to this exchange i want to know is it real do withdrawls work or does it take like really really long?
Please tell your experience,

Kind regards

I had been using yobit for 10 months, and by that period of time up to now I don't see any problem like what others always says that yobit is a scam. It maybe Yobit accepting new altcoin to their exchange and they don't care if that coins is a scummy or not but not the yobit itself is doing scam to the traders. because if that is true, perhaps yobit now is not existing anymore.

Use Poloniex... Ten times better, trust me.

It felt to me like I moved from hell to paradise when I moved from Yobit to Poloniex.
Ive been laughing when I do read your comment at its really real talk pal the experience between both exchange is really far from each other and you will surely feel the difference when you both tried the exchange. Support is very important which you can really say the difference because yobit doesn't ever responds to its users while poloniex is very active and it terms of service poloniex still number one for me.
7926  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to use bitcoins to keep them safe? on: April 25, 2017, 06:08:53 PM
Hi,
I ve read that some e-wallets restrict your account and ask for ID docs to unblock access to your funds  (coinbase).

So, some people  say that they don't leave their btc in wallets for long time, as soon they get BTC funds they exchange for FIATS and this is more secure.
I do not know much about fiats and all.

Can you  point to a good tutorial or guide on how to do that? or share some lights to  use BTC to keep they safe or a good site to exchange them for USD , like using  Paypal as conversor?

Or any secure e-wallet  that dont's ask for ID proof?

Thank you

Coinbase isn't actually a web wallet but an exchange wallet that's why there are instances on where wallets have been blocked. You can actually use lots of different wallet its either on web wallet or hardware or pc wallets it does depends on your choice but if you are really concern about security of your bitcoin then store it on hardware wallets because it much safer as long you do keep safely its private keys and with that no one could able to take away your bitcoins from you.
7927  Economy / Services / Re: Making 500$/Day method, No bullshit, With Escrow ! on: April 25, 2017, 04:02:41 PM
Since He let's us to use an escrow of our choosing, then it is probably not a scam in my opinion. I checked 3 pages all but nobody seems to be interested in yet.

I can vouch for you if you are interested.  Cool Can fire up your sales.
Using escrow doesn't mean its not already a scam because believing that $500 per day wont make him need to sell his method. I can vouch this thing too but I don't really expect too much on this method and you are right 3 pages already but no one does have the interest to buy his method which means most people knows that this is just a bullshit scam.
7928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: April 25, 2017, 02:14:14 PM
Is it true, Altcoins price can be manipulate?
I see so many peoples in any Ann thread of altcoins ask for pump and dump. I just don't understand, is this how cryptocurrencies works? While forex trading market move by good news or bad news in around the world.
If Dev or big holders can easy manipulate the price of some altcoins, I think it's not interesting anymore.
You cant compare Forex trading and crypto trading because they do really differ on volumes and knowing about forex its so vast and marketcap is huge but still manipulation is still possible on it but it would be a hard thing for them to execute because once they have been caught they would go to jail and that forex works unlike on altcoin which you can easily manipulate price specially if you are a bag holder then pumping and dumping on coin would be easy but knowing the right time to ride is the hardest part.
7929  Economy / Services / Re: Selling Bitcointalk posts on: April 24, 2017, 04:39:56 PM
Everything could really be done when we are talking about money. For op,its not really bad on your intention to start such service but no one will surely willing to pay you out just to make them a post and in my own situation I would rather post my own than paying someone to do it for me,feels like I'm too lazy on posting even this thing you do still need to rely to others.Only account farmers will surely make use of this one.
7930  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy a wife with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 02:28:42 PM
This is something new to me, Buying a wife with bitcoin? How is this thing even possible? Women cant easily be sold out so easily unless if they are longing for your money then girls will eventually go to you even without the need on purchasing them. This is really a normal thing on society that girls do hunt boys for money but talking about this service buying wife with bitcoin is very unique hahah.
Money cant buy a wife that would last to stay beside you for the rest of your life.
7931  Economy / Securities / Re: Any Safe 1.5% Monthly? on: April 24, 2017, 12:48:31 PM
lol sure, i'll give you 18% on your money.
Please be to to transfer your money to me, thank you.

Clear sign of Scam. Beware to this. I highly suggest you stay away from the offer of this person. His offer doesn't make sense at all. In the first place, making 18% profit out of your investment will be a hard one except if you are trading or having an active investment. But for passive. I think 1-5% would be enough.
Low rank members nowadays do really strive to scam attempt people on here but I think no one would really believe on him since most people on this forum is already knowledgeable already about too good to be true returns which are known to be scam later on. Any investments that do offer huge returns specially on a short period of time then its 100% sure scam.So stay away on this one.
7932  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mobile application or web application? on: April 24, 2017, 11:16:58 AM
This would be great idea, as there's so many people nowadays have and love smartphones (whether android/IOS/windows). It will be less hassle to browse the forum through browsers. And besides you can earn as the developer also from this app through ads.
Agree on what you have said but instead of chossing only one why not on having both? It might be a big work but it would really be worth it at all when its being already launched. They do have both advantages depends on users preference on accessing the site. Mobile for easy access anywhere anytime on our smartphone but there are still people do prefer website application that's why its important on having both.
7933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is getting serious ... Total CryptoCurrency Market Cap to $30 billion !! on: April 21, 2017, 08:34:22 AM
A nice market cap but nowhere near what it will become
Trillions is still a likelihood in the farther future but I look forward to a 50 Billion milestone and am quite happy to see 30 Billion now.
As others pointed out market cap is nice but what matters is growth and usage as the foundation pillars behind the true price.
Reaching out 30B marketcap isnt a small thing and we can really say that adoption is on the move and we do see gradually increase of usage on cryptocurrency world and 50B milestone wont really be hard and we would definitely see those numbers.

7935  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bringing a Trading Card Game into Bitcoin World on: April 21, 2017, 03:05:11 AM
Checking the site i could say its good and if you just mentioned it has 200 players but inactive then they might got bored because it is still paypal based and its a right decision for you to include or switch to bitcoin many would be interested again. i might be interested to help you out but im quiet busy.
7936  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 20, 2017, 01:27:24 PM
More and more people are using smartphones thanks to budget friendly mid-rangers, almost anyone can now afford to buy a smartphone.

Mobile payment is becoming more common and it is an opportunity to acquaint people more into using bitcoin . Mobile payment will eventually replace credit cards or at least will make them less mainstream. An example  of this is Apple Pay. Bitcoin smartphone wallet  apps are to use when you have a transaction, you just scan a qr code and the transaction is done though will take some time to be confirmed.

Agreed, that is definitely the future. But the point of slow transaction is also valid, bitcoin has to come up with something better to cope with it so it can be more popularized in the general people and business world.
I this this could be the only or the biggest hurdle standing in bitcoin's way for now.
I also agree that smart phone is a huge help on making bitcoin develop. Why? because as the smart phones develop it means that more wallet and more transaction can be make through bitcoin as it developing also. So t may help people on giving the brighter way to used bitcoin on a daily basis using phone as it make easier and upgraded phone on a future. So as the phone and bitcoin develop it also sure that the internet and security will also develop on a great opportunity of bitcoin to grow.
Having smartphone with an internet connection could really contribute on bitcoin adoption or growth on longer runs but still depends on a person if he would decide to learn bitcoin or not because not matter how many cellphone we do have but we don't have knowledge about bitcoin then I think it would be useless at all. Smartphones could really be a good tool but it does still need some push or awareness of bitcoin in able to maximize it.
7937  Economy / Securities / Re: Cryptopia shares on: April 20, 2017, 11:59:33 AM
I never invest in any shares related to cyptocurrency because you do not know what future holds as per each country the rules regarding this technology differs. So better I invest in my bank which gives some interest as well rather than this types of shares.

Nah you cant avoid some people would definitely chose up this kind of investment that to put up money on local fiat banks because they do believe this kind of investments does give more profits than banks but same as your I would rather choose banks than this one and ill pass into this.Cryptopia is good but not good enough just like other exchanges.
7938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cointrust.xyz site what is this site used for on: April 20, 2017, 11:05:29 AM
Has anyone heard of this site cointrust.xyz?

It does have a rather strange domain so I am weary to believe in anything they have listed on the site. Even with the word 'trust' in the sites's name is often a telltale sign not to believe into what the site has on it either.
I think it's a rating system from the way others were taking about it on some bitcoin sites.
But I am not really wanting to check this from where I am at the moment not being on a secured connected system.
-> Yes that domain is indeed an insecurity. But lately, reputed business have started to use it since your fav domain name is always available  with .xyz instead of paying high amounts for premium domains.

->From a rough overview of the company, they seem like a business to keep track of scammer records in the bitcoin community.

->Kind of interesting, they have an API and scammer profile archives.

->You should have easily able to figure out what they do if you read through this : https://cointrust.xyz/how-does-cointrust-work/

->Are you just promoting the site by any chance?
It does really like an advertising to me because instead of giving some reaction about the site he does make question into the public which the answer is really an obvious one and when I tried out to read up  https://cointrust.xyz/how-does-cointrust-work/ I did say to myself that they are trustable at all.  Cool
7939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 20, 2017, 10:31:45 AM
Hi,

What is your opinion about forex trading vs crypto currency trading?
Which one is better? More profitable ?

Also, there are some bots like GunBot or C.A.T which automate whole trading, but is there any bots for forex?
Is crypto currency and forex trading strategy and method the same?

You don't have any experience on forex it seems. Just download metatrader and have some fun with a demo account. There are many bots both paid and free which you can use with forex trading.

Crypto trading is not much different than forex. All you need to make right guesses more than wrong ones.  Cool

I don'.t know about C.A.T. much but if you checked the GunBot you'll see that it makes the most profit if there is a bull market going on. The statistics were like; on a bull market you'll most likely to make %500 with gunbot and you'll be making %400 with holding. Don't remember the exact  numbers but you can think of gunbot as a profit booster.

You probably won't be making any money if everything goes to shit, neither by holding nor botting.

Trading on a demo account and on a real account is different. When you play on a demo account, you are luckier, and when you replenish a real account, you get more loss:(

The demo account is usually provided by the bot developer. They use fake charts, so you always make more profit while trading. They just want to make you believe their service (the bot) is good and win more than lose on long term. Their interest is only to sell their service and make their profit, doesn't matter if you will lose a lot of money with their bot on real account later...

I think it's not a good idea to trust a lot of money in a bot. It's just an AI, and it will lose all your money without any prudence.
What demo account are you referring to? If you are talking forex demo accounts then i would really disagree on your statement since brokers would definitely do the opposite thing they would not tend not to cheat their posibble traders in fact they would really be helpful to their demo traders to trade succesfully because once they do decide to go live trading then brokers are earning on every trade they made which means the more successful a trader is the more income or profits they would generate.

In my view the main reason of profit making in demo account is you are playing freely without worry of loosing it as even if you lose it your own investment is not gone but when you start to invest and then play then you are worried of if you lose the investment so in this process what happens is when ever you take position you will be watching is until the position is closed so in this process what happens is even on shorter profit you close the position but when you are in loss you dont close the position in short lose. So in my sense both are same of trading in forex or crypto trading
That's one of the reason why brokers do make demo accounts which they would let their traders to test it out without the need to pull out money from their pockets and yes once we do demo tradings confidence is really high since our mind tells us that no matter what the result is its still okay since we wont lose even 1 cent but when we trying out to live accounts story would be different at all.
7940  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: April 20, 2017, 10:09:14 AM
I personally know of people who made it big by trading on forex, they are now staying at home and making money, You need practice, lots of it before you venture into it, you may lose all your money if you are not careful about it, even the experienced ones lose money at times,
Even me I do have lots of friends who do make forex trading and I could say they are making huge money whenever they like since they are just trading on their home and as long they have their laptop and internet with it then theyre good to go.Making money on forex is really possible but making it happen would be the hardest part its not easy as it sounds and you would really need to have experienced and it takes years for you to be able to be profitable with it.
