Argentina missed so many chances, they can't blame other to loss.

Agreed, I thought they were going to win this. They had at least 3 amazing opportunities, all 3 times they missed the net.

Brutal game, Sweinzteiger bleeding, that should've been a red for the Argentinian.

So many chances for Argentina, that's just sick they didn't manage to score!!

Agreed, it is really looking like they may win this. Germany still hasn't had any serious chances. They're playing too reserved IMO.

Germany tried to play slow passing football first half, really not working. I hope their coach told them to turn the Blitzkrieg on a bit.
And gave them instruction deliver more crossing ball. We didn't want to see extra time or end with penalty kicks.

Agree

That could've been a red. Germany needs to cool down or they will play with 10 men.

Argentina's counter-attacks are looking quite deadly so far. Germans have majority possession but have to be careful.

Oh man is Brazil trying to make their fans even angrier? What a blatant foul by Silva.Another early start for a crazy score?

People on this forums are greedy, you won't get even a cent sadly.

Because not wanting to give money to a random stranger that whines on the internet and asks for money makes one greedy. . .

Israel-Palestine is really just a non-ending shithole of hate and retaliation killings for decades. Both sides are guilty, and both need to let it go and work out their territorial disputes through compromise.

With rare exception, every state on the planet grows larger, more tyranical, more confiscatory, and more dangerous with each passing year.
Except known history does not bear this out. Pretty much all ancient societies were socialist as Igor Shafaravich's research  bears out in his book The Socialist Phenomenon..
More recently we have seen various experiments against this trend

Yea you know i may be unfairly looking at the world through the lens of my own perspective. My government (that is to say the government that rules over me not the government that i own Tongue) started out small and has grown out of control over the last 200 years. However most other governments were much more tyrannical 200 years ago than they are today. Grin
haha Smiley YOu know in my work I am constantly looking and studying how the world could go wrong, mainly economically. But when i look at the big picture things are getting better.

Oh yea im super optimistic. Even though my government grows larger and larger every year, innovation still outpaces the damage they do. The human experience gets happier, healthier, wealthier, and richer every year, in spite of the government. Its like a leach that grows larger every year in absolute terms, but smaller every year relative to the host. So excited about the future Grin.

Excellent analogy. The world's governments are increasingly becoming inefficient and authoritarian, technology is the only way we will transcend  that without having to revolt.

Also, the amount of obvious new troll/FUD accounts with few posts in this thread is too damn high.

Everyone is overwhelmingly predicting Germany to win, but Argentina can do it. Their defense didn't look bad at all versus Netherlands, and their attack is solid (although a bit reliant on Messi). In any case they have a small chance of winning.

As for Netherlands - Brazil, I think Netherlands will win.

Good guy Mark Karpeles!! Too bad even if it sells for 1 million it comes nowhere near the hundreds of millions people lost because of Karpeles' stupidity (or maliciousness).

Are you bloody serious? The bitcoin foundation has almost jack all to do with bitcoin. I don't know how they started out, but for the last few years they've been nothing but a scam that took people's money to get rich. Andreas leaving them is a very, very good thing. The "Bitcoin" foundation stands for nothing but the enrichment of a few elite members.

Never heard of this coin and it's exploding in value. Is there something special here or the typical pump&dumpers found the coin?

Netherlands looked so sure of themselves the entire tournament, but pressure on the penalties killed them.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: July 09, 2014, 10:47:05 PM
Wow, really did not expect this result. 0-0 in full time with both teams looking pretty even, but then two Netherlands players falling apart in the penalties.
