81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Satoshi Nakamoto Hypothesis on: August 16, 2021, 04:52:28 PM
I still think Satoshi Nakamoto was australian security researcher David Kleiman who unfortunately passed away in 2013 (R.I.P.). There are many published articles and accounts written about the potential for Kleiman being Satoshi. If Satoshi were still alive today. I think he would end up in a cell next to Julian Assange and John McAfee. To deter future developers from walking the path. The only thing that makes sense is, he is no longer in this world.

One excalibur sword left in a stone to verify the identity of Satoshi has been private keys to genesis blocks Satoshi was known to have pre mined. Perhaps someday Satoshi will return to enter the private keys, pull the sword from the stone and crown himself king. But I doubt it. Even if a private key were verified, enough time has elapsed that the keys conceivably could have been broken or recovered from wherever they were stored on hardware.

The same one proposed by Jeff Garzik.
He said he started writing software code for Bitcoin after reading a post on slashdot in July 2010. At the time, Bitcoin had only been around for about a year and a half and satoshi was still active.
Within a short period of time, Garzik became the third largest Bitcoin coder, after satoshi himself and Gavin Andresen, and remained in this position until 2014.
During the initial period, Garzik worked directly with Nakamoto, interacting with him via email and here on Bitcointalk, until Satoshi disappeared in 2011.
His personal theory is that satoshi was Floridian Dave Kleiman. For Garzik he matched his coding style, Kleiman was self-taught and the coder of Bitcoin was someone who was very, very smart, but not a classically trained software engineer.

I have to admit that the key to Borussia Dortmund's monstrous 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the first match of Bundesliga is all in Haaland's performance. I have criticized the player in the past but he seems to be a real star, I was wrong about him. I still don't think he's worth all that money but he is undoubtedly an exceptional player.

It was a great final, a pleasure to watch I liked so much Medvedev tennis! Such a great player.
This way Medvedev brought home the third title of the season after the ones he won in Mallorca and Marseille, the eleventh of his career. The Russian has thus broken through the wall of 10000 points in the ATP ranking: now he has jumped to 10,620, strengthening his second place (the Greek Stefanos Tsitipas is third at 8,350) and approaching the Serbian Novak Djokovic, always in the lead with 12,113 points.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 16, 2021, 04:30:16 PM
After winning my bet thanks to Barça I'll try to play all the amount on Elche Athletic Bilbao.
Athletic Bilbao comes from an interesting preseason, in which they beat Southampton, Borussia Dortmund and Dinamo Kiev in friendly matches and drew against Liverpool. In the debut match Marcelino won't be able to count on Unai Simon and on the disqualified Raul Garcia.
Nonetheless I think Bilbao can win this game and my bet is gonna be draw or away!

I was thinking of the Lakers' roster recently. There isn't only the arrival of Russell Westbrook to bring special attention to the Los Angeles Lakers, but also that of Carmelo Anthony. The latter, who's always been a great friend of LeBron James, is ready to fully step into his rotation role, to make the second unit offensively dangerous. Melo wants to win a ring with Lakers, and with this team he might achieve this.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 15, 2021, 06:44:10 AM
Question is: given the shortage of BTC on the exchanges, granted that more than half of UTXO movements happen outside of CEXes (OTC trades for the big ones), considering the pandemic is not over and all that comes around it....
100K this year or next year?
That's the question.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 15, 2021, 06:38:51 AM
The Blaugrana are at a turning point having lost Lionel Messi, who went to PSG after his contract with the Catalans ended. The newcomers Aguero and Depay will have a huge weight on their shoulders for this reason.
Barcelona are coming from a season that needs soon to be forgotten. Koeman's team finished in third place, while in Champions League they went out in the round of 16 against PSG. The only consolation is the conquest of the Copa del Rey.
Today against Real Sociedad Barça should win but I wouldn't exclude a draw, the safest bet's Home or Draw.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 15, 2021, 06:31:18 AM
If we talk about gambling then I prefer to manage my funds on a weekly basis. It helps me dearly to find a way not to overbet and keep a constant money flow which doesn't have to go beyond my budget. Talking about the budget specifically, given the small profit I was able to get during the last season, I might increase it around 20%

Stefanos Tsitsipas' great form wasn't enough in the semifinals of the Toronto Masters 1000. The Greek was beaten by Reilly Opelka with a score of 6-7 (2/7) 7-6 (7/4) 6-4, with the American flying to the final. The 23-year-old Hellenic paid dearly for the only break of the match, suffered in the 7th game of the third set. The 2,11m giant didn't let the first loss get him down, going on his way in a match practically played all on his own ground, between missiles on serve and a few quick exchanges. And in the end he managed to crumble Tsitsipas' certainties to conquer the first final in a tournament of this level. Well done!

Jesse Marsch's Bundesliga debut on the Leipzig bench is safe: until a few days ago, the match against Mainz was at high risk of being postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 that forced 14 Nullfünfer players to quarantine.
The Covid situation at Mainz suggests a team that will take the field re-staffed and will find it difficult to resist Leipzig. I have no doubts regarding a victory of the Roten Bullen in a match of at least three goals in total.

91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this. on: August 15, 2021, 06:19:00 AM
Gold has been circulating as a currency for thousands of years and has many industrial purposes, as well as serving as a key metal in the jewelry market. Its essential functional uses mean that demand is constant and it is a safe investment, as you can be assured that demand will maintain a fairly stable price (ranging 1200-1900 $ in recent years).
Being a physical asset, it remains safe in times of economic adversity and is considered a great store of wealth and hedge against inflation. In addition to trading on gold as a commodity, you can also invest by simply buying gold coins and bars.
Still, I believe Bitcoin has far superior properties but I'm keeping a 5% allocation for the golden metal since I believe after a thousand years it can have a place in any portfolio.

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentine President sees no reason to oppose Bitcoin adoption on: August 14, 2021, 07:57:45 AM
Despite Argentina's strict currency controls, the current president has a broader, modern, digital vision. In fact, he noted the growing perception of Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation in the global economy.
However, highlighting concerns about Bitcoin's price volatility, he stated that cryptocurrencies are a social-economic topics that should be approached with a good deal of caution.
Whenever you want, President, we are ready.
To be noted that Argentina has one of the most exciting bitcoin communities in the world, lots of great bitcoiners from there.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 14, 2021, 07:51:05 AM
While the major European leagues started already, Italians still play friendlies and useless summer cups.
This is the program I've found for today:
Napoli-Pescara
Inter-Dinamo Kiev
Milan-Panathinaikos
Lazio-Sassuolo
Juve-Atalanta
Roma-Raja

Interesting game the re-match of the last Italy Cup between Juve and Atalanta where Ronaldo and Dybal should play since the beginning.
At the Olimpico, Roma rehearse for the Conference League against Raja.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 14, 2021, 07:42:53 AM
Slow game betweeen Munich and Gladbach, must be the summer and a lack of optimal preparation. The usual Lewandowski saved Bayern from defeat.
Today I'm focusing on Borussia Dortmund - Eintracht. Borussia has many absences in defense, one of them being Hummels, but that shouldn't be much of a problem. At Signal Iduna Parka, knowing the offensive mentality of the two coaches, it will probably be a match with at least three goals in total. Over 2,5 goals lokks the best bet for the game.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 14, 2021, 07:36:40 AM
Lorient-Monaco is opening the second day of Ligue 1 and it'll be played tonight.
Monaco started their journey in this edition of Ligue 1 with a not exciting 1-1 home draw against Nantes.
Lorient, on the other hand, drew 1-1 at Saint Etienne.
I predict an entertaining game with at least one goal on each side, although Monaco should be able to win and earn three points.
I lost touch during the summer, that was a crap bet.  Grin
A penalty by Nigerian striker Terem Moffi helped Lorient to win against Monaco. Notwithstanding the territorial supremacy and also the number of shots on goal, Monaco failed to find the way of the draw.
I'll try another bet for Ligue 1 with a correct score:
PSG-Strasbourg 2-1

Bring Lance Stephenson back to NBA! Cool
After being close to returning to the league last year with the Indiana Pacers ahead of the Orlando bubble, now the player may have a better chance to show he still has the right qualities to play at the highest level. Lance will hold a workout in these hours in Las Vegas where several NBA teams will be present. The goal is to convince them to give him a chance. Representatives from the Bucks, Nuggets, Sixers and Nets are expected to attend.
Stephenson hasn't played in NBA since the 2018-19 and his last professional experience was in China with Liaoning Flying Leopards in 2019-20.

Leonard is staying with the LA Clippers.

NBA free agency 2021: Kawhi Leonard agrees to four-year, $176.3 million contract with Clippers

With this news, I still consider the LA Clippers to be one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship next season.
I think they just need to manage the minutes of Leonard like what Raptors did when during his time there, the "load management" is very helpful.
That's a big contract!
According to reports from Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the fourth year would be activated via player option.
With this choice, Leonard returns to the roster of coach Lue with the aim of fighting for the NBA title once again. First, however, there is the need to overcome the serious knee problem he suffered during the last Playoffs, for which he risks missing part of next season, if not all of it.

We don't have to wait much to see the Bavarians in action, today's the day.
As I wrote previously, I don't expect Bayern to win like 5 goals ahead: it's gonna be a tactical game that will be defined by episodes. This is the first game of the season, it's a very important one but given the starting conditions I wouldn't be surprised if I see a draw between the two.

TBH The amount of BTC accumulated by big institutions is the biggest sign of bullishness ever.
People say the demand is now less? Bro they already bought fuck ton of BTC to start with.
Come back to this post in years, we will be almost x5 from here. BTC
Retail is still the biggest market. See coinbase.
When institutional investors really jump in no rocket's gonna be enough for the helluva ride we'll have.
