How many people are still running the SP20? Love them but need more efficient models
I got four running at my home. They are nice hardware to play with. They were state of the art when launched. Right now the max efficiency i get is 2.2W/GH/s at wall using 80Plus Gold PSU. At this efficiency the speed per device is around 850GH/s. It can't be 2w per gh you mean 0.22w per gh ? Sorry my bad, 2.2GH/s per watt

There's a Vadj pot at the bottom. The max output voltage is around 12.6V. Need to remove the screws holding the PCB to get access to it.
Nice job on spotting that. Interesting that they have it hidden in there. I do like that it's there. They have made it pretty much the best out there for the S7 with those 10 PCIe cables needed. Nice to see a little secret to their PSU. It's not a bad PSU at all if you have 220/240. Yup cool , hope this will help someone. Bitmain should do something about the PSU fan speed. Maybe, make it automatically ramp up / down with temps, or add some kind of user adjustment.

Anyone using the bitmain 1600watt psu? I need to pick up some more power supplies for my s7's and considering some of these. What type of plug wire does it come with?
It does not come with a plug wire. Customer provides her / his own 220V power cable.

TODAY IS NUTS!!!
So far 43.8% for the day!!!
I will pick
+16.0 = adaseb
Agree, who is online? Mining is once again cut-throat.

+25.5% goxed
btw any idea, whats' with this huge hashrate increase in the last 3days?

Decided to "make a thing" to power my S7s . Hope some of you will appreciate this! 2X 2000w server PSUs sharing the load of the 3 S7s. Will shortly be replacing the PSUs with the 2500w versions since I'm actually pulling 4400w DC from them right now, which is 200w over their rating on each. I've adjusted the voltage output to 12.6v on the PSUs. Great rig man. Kudos! 12.5V+ opens up some good OC headroom on the S7.

18 blocks remaining before the next difficulty change
about 2.7 hours
Overclock your S7 10% then. One difficulty change gratis!

I've been experimenting too.
I didn't measure at the wall yet, but I did measure DC power coming from the PSU. Each blade is burning 500w, so 1500w / 5770gh = 0.259w/gh at the PSU. What's being pulled at the wall will depend on the quality of your PSU, obviously. I don't see why you're saying efficiency is bad, it's incredibly good considering it's running almost 1TH/s faster than stock.
To compare, stock 600MHz each blade pulls 412w. 1236w / 4860gh = 0.254w/gh at the PSU.
I'm overvolting the S7. PSU is outputting 12.58v unloaded, 12.48v loaded. running 600MHz = 12.4v at the blade, 737 = 12.33v at the blade.
I don't suggest anyone attempt this. It's definitely not good for the S7, and you risk killing it.
You got nice OC there Ahh, I got 0.28W / GH @ wall. For some reason I thought the efficiency should be 0.25W / GH at wall.

Playing around with the clocks today. Efficiency is bit poor for a S7 though: Power@Wall=1600watts.

Temperature sure came up overnight eh? Looks like hashrate is holding steady though, you going to leave it at that clock?
Yes, will leave it at that. I see my miners as super-depreciatory assets.

S7 B7 Could you post a screen shot of a 24+ hour run time please? Done, pls look at the original post.

Anyone OCed his Batch 7 to 650 Mhz ? is it performing well ??
Playing around with different clock freqs. Here's a snapshot from my current test. Looking at the RPM's on those fans, you must have them set around 30% manual. It looks like you need to bring up the fans to at least 80% to get those HW errors and temps down. I am in Switz. There's a communal law on the amount of noise one can generate esp. at night. Also the miner pulls cold air from the outside. Have to live with these temps. Here's the perf with 687MHz clock speed. Very nice overclock! What power supply are you using, and what voltage are you measuring at the hash boards? I can't seem to get my units happy over 662. I am using the Bitmain PSU. Will measure voltage and power soon.
