Very impressive.
Are these compatible with the original M-boards?
yes, they are compatible with the original M-boards.

I will be getting a bit of money here soon from income tax and other services and I need to know what is the possible best miner without scam without wait that I could get? How much and how many GH/s. Thanks in advance.
Antminer 200 gh/s miners I think? 200 GH/s and delivery in 1 week. Other then that you will have to get in line. how much are the 200gh? AZ, USA based seller. ninjatech.org 3.1 BTC ea also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=377632.0

- Are you in the US? (checking to see shipping costs)
New to this so these may be very basic questions: - What's the Power usage on this 16 chip board? - Can you have more than 16 chips on one board too? I was thinking that, spending $100+ on 16 chip board only may be expensive by feb-end.
anything? These are functionally similar and slightly better thermally, to Bitfury v1 H-boards and need an M-board to make them operational. The default power usage and speed can be looked up in the link provided in the first post. >16 chips / board is not supported right now. Thanks.

Interested in 2-3 packs, depending on the final price, ideally all assembled to connect Shipping to Europe? Thanks Shipping to EU should be possible. Assembly here implies that the chips will be soldered, Voltage regulator needs to be soldered by the user. Should not take more than 10mins per card.

Tough to be worth it if these are mailed out late Feb. Any chance of getting them out sooner?
It all depends on the chip release schedule, which is currently no earlier than mid-february.

+5 Kit here. Shipping abroad?
Depends, which country? Thanks

Hello, I decided to make my own mining rig. But I've had some issues with cgminer and the PC going straight to the BSOD. The system setup is as follows:
OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
Processor
AMD Sempron 145 Processor
Motherboard ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 AM3+, AMD 990X, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, ATX, AMD
Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR
GPUs 3X SAPPHIRE R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 Battlefield 4 Version
Storage Kingston Digital 120GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3
PSU EVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2 ATX12V/EPS12V 1300W 80Plus Gold Power Supply
BSOD viewer reports the following files: ================================================== Filename : atikmdag.sys Address In Stack : atikmdag.sys+9d18d2 From Address : fffff880`11059000 To Address : fffff880`11d49000 Size : 0x00cf0000 Time Stamp : 0x52a23f6f Time String : 12/6/2013 3:19:43 PM Product Name : File Description : File Version : Company : Full Path : ==================================================

If anyone can help me out, I'd be glad to pay reasonable sum. To get everything working as it should be. Thanks
I have a PC with 2x290X / Win 7 64 bit. I have had good luck mining with cgminer-2.11.2, 850MHz Engine, 1250MHz Memory, Intensity 18 or 19. Using --auto-fan option so that the cards do not downclock due to thermals. It's very stable when mining, but the moment I quit by pressing q, the system BSODs.

Interested in 1 or 2 kits. Each board does approx ~35Gh/s correct?
Yes on an average speed's 35GH/s. The minimum observed speed is 32GH/s (if two chips throw errors). Some cards with 16 good chips run at 37GH/s.

The package will cost $50(v1 H-board) + $5.5*18(some BF chips throw MISO errors right out of the reel) + $60 (regulator) = ~$209e.a. Assembled boards will cost ~$75 extra e.a. BYOC is also possible. Guys anyone interested in a group buy? If yes please let me know on this thread how many. You will have to solder the chips yourself, it's easy if you know how to solder a QFN. You need some solder paste + hot air + solder iron for the contacts. QikFury boards-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391689.0Estimated delivery 3rd Week February 2014.

Any news on the design competition?
Currently everyone at Bitmine is busy testing the chip and I suspect they just lack time to plan and announce it. I'll post when I know more. Update: Initial Tests with real Chips Sample ChipsThe first wave of sample chips has been shipped by Bitmine to the following people / projects (2 chips each): WASP, marto74, MrTeal, danchoo, Felipeo, Lucko, intron, burnin. They should arrive this week. Next wave will be available (in higher volumes) in week 3-4/2014. Chip TestingI visited Bitmine over the weekend for the initial chip bring-up. Test was performed on the first revision of the 8-chip boards that will be used in the rigs delivered to customers. We fought some very basic issues half night through - and finally we made the chips working. The cooling design is still worked on (and will be adapted to the findings during the tests), therefore we had to work without top heatsink. As a result, we could perform tests with reduced clocks so far, which is sufficient to validate the communication, chaining, and hashing. During the next days the cooling should be available and I will be able to explore the edges and post performance figures. Intermediate Results Relevant for DIYThe following is a short list of things tested and relevant for DIY projects: - PLL configuration working: arbitrary system clock selectable and usable
- AVDD must be 1.8V, input is not 3.3 V tolerant
- host SPI interface: level shifter from/to 1.8V required
- SPI chain termination: the last chip in the chain needs to have SDI_L and SDO_L connected to close the loop
- chips need to be HW reset (by pulling RESETn to ground) for proper operation
- hashing engines work, chip produces exactly the expected hashrate (number of engines * system clock)
- the initial cgminer driver published works as is
- chip is designed to dissipate ~70% through the PCB and 30% over top side, therefore heat-sink is mandatory
That's all for now. I will post a follow-up when cooling is properly applied to push the clocks to nominal ranges. By next weekend we could also get initial feedback from some of the DIY projects listed above. Cheers, zefir excellent, I will get my boards ready in time for next batch of chips.

Badass - Where can you get the blank PCBs?
I got them manufactured through advancedcircuits as well as oshpark. The oshpark pcb's look dandy but are 0.5ounce Cu. If chips are available for sale in Feb, I will get more boards made.

Love this hack. Let me know if you make some for sale. I have a couple non-working boards I could try this on.
So do you want to use chips from non-working h-boards on a new H-board?
|
|
|
so what does this do ?
Well I had a few empty slots to fill in my starter kit, and a month and half ago H-boards went OOS, and the only thing one could buy were chips. This is the result.

Nice going Goxed!
Interested when you are ready to sell. Will you possibly sell it as a kit for the end user to do the soldering themselves?
I'm no EE but I can float a chip.
I could sell it as a kit. (PCB + chips + assembled regulator+ 8 heatsinks). Mounted PCBs will cost ~ 60-80USD more. Lets see when the chips are back in stock.

I am also interested in a few sample chips. Thanks a lot in advance.

Are there any plans to sell chips on MBP online store anytime soon? Thanks
Stay tuned. I'll make an announcement real soon, once I get all the details. Thanks, I hope the prices are competitive. They are patiently waiting
