Ok,

Which one of you guys sucked up all the H-Cards?  Couple of days ago they were aplenty. Out of stock now. Maybe Dave is just doing some adjusting. There were also a couple full kits available, pre-order now only.  Guess we will see how it washes out.

All Hboards gone already for that price and btc gone up too.

There were 152 cards available, just a few hours back!!! OOS now.
Full rigs haves changed to pre-order Smiley.
Starter (8 were available)  kits are OOS.

One wild guess is that 100TH mine has scooped them up.

Ahh those USB coffee warmers? BFL = empty promises. In business trust is key, and they have lost all trust and goodwill from most of the community.

Will there be a price drop on h-cards? These are looking mighty overpriced given the current difficulty.

soon i hope - Ive been shopping around for canadian-built/assembled boards and am looking at $50-$120 per 8-chip board or $75-$150 per 16-chip board not counting the cost of the bitfury chips (which should be $10 each to be properly competitive at  this point)

USD 300 is a good price for 16chip H-boards starting difficulty 500MM. The Jan chips are selling for $5 a pop if buying at full-reel prices. https://megabigpower.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=33&product_id=64

1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I think a major and prolonged crash could be beneficial on: November 04, 2013, 08:08:56 AM
Most people tend to buy during bull runs, and capitulate during crash, including reasonably strong hands.

All my orders have shipped! ! Thanks Dave!  Grin

guys it would be cool if you would put down a small review with pictures of your new hardware Smiley

I will

Are 3x 120mm fans enough to cool 1 kit?
I would say 6 120mm, three on top, three horizontal. With overvolting cooling the regulator is extremely essential.

Jared has been working to improve the network configuration for these rigs.  Here's how it works now:

-on boot up, the card will get the dhcp range of your network
-it will then take the .249 of this range
-you'll find the updated web UI at this address
-there's a network config button at the bottom that will let you change the IP of the rig

Jared also added a shutdown button at the bottom of the web UI.  Use this before powering down - we find that SD cards survive a lot better this way.

More cards arrived today and more are going out Cheesy

Cheers,
Dave
I have been using 'sync' command before turning off power. In my experience the file-system problems seem to arise because the ext4 partition on /dev/mmcblk0p2 gets corrupted time and again.

My FrankenFury

Got my hands on one of H board no M board so way not create your own FrankenFury  Wink

 Grin

Don't you need a level shifter on the comm lines?

I guess  not  Grin

Only problem that I run across is 1.8v on pin 1 of H board but luckily RPi has 1.8v (not on GPIO).I did this Tuesday night and board is running between 29 and 31GH (after pencil mod).

I do need to give credit to sveetsnelda for his help.

Hey cool man great job. Any chance you got the schematics?
