I'll come back to all of you asap, no worries. Time isn't being my friend these days No reply as of yet.

Try putting your BFL, unpowered, in the freezer for about 30 minutes (better if you jimmy some fans in the freezer to circulate the air better), then as quickly as you can safely manage, connect it back to the host computer and see if it starts.
I had a BFL that some cores wouldnt detect unless I started it when it was extremely cold

Bump. Now willing to ship anywhere within the USA, assuming we use DannyHamilton as escrow, and assuming I can get a stash of antistatic bags.
If you have any computer repair shops in the area, try visiting some of those, maybe offer a little compensation. There are 3 individually owned PC shops here, and on the second one I visited, they happily gave me a ton for free (They were typically motherboard ESD bags, but work fine for GPU) as well as a whole garbage bag worth of packing peanuts. I tipped them $20 after I started selling my GPUs off. I also managed to get a separate garbage bag full of bubble wrap for free from a individually owned carpet and upholstery store (I tipped them as well)

Buyer beware, seller ended communication when I mentioned escrow.
That's pretty concerning, especially since the OP has a relatively larger activity score. Talk about the long con

That a very .. bold offer for the 280X. You will need to compete with gamers though, as gamers would absolutely pay more than that, seeing as these are gaming graphics cards and not merely number crunchers. If you want scrypt mining, just buy ASICs. You will save yourself a lot of money with electricity and supporting hardware.

Make sure to escrow. It's always suspicious when a brand new newbie immediately goes to the "goods" forum to sell stuff.
I'm not implying anything. I'm just sharing how things have occurred in these forums in the years I've been a part of it.

My only suspicion is based on the price being too good. Also offers free worldwide shipping, which could easily cost in excess of $100 with a trackable service. I'm giving him the chance to prove he is legitimate by accepting his price, but paying under my terms and using my great trust as a way to get an edge in the situation.
If he accepts and goes through the trade as I proposed, he'll get a great positive review, and more people will probably feel comfortable trading with him. If he doesn't accept, it'll give people reason to think he is a scammer.

If it was in USA and a 270X (for gaming), I would have more interest, but I have no intent of paying $50 for International Express Mail Service (the only "cheap" method I trust since its trackable) from AU to USA, and looking for a little extra oomph for gaming. Free bump for you though.

People forget that these cards can do what they're designed to do, which is game. That's my intent, though I risk having having artifacting because it was mined on, so I risk getting a graphics card that effectively useless to me, hence my lower offer. I used to have a GPU farm, and after I broke everything down for sale and tested it, many of the GPUs failed to be game stable, or started showing signs that they would artifact in games, so I had to bring down my price on a lot of it. But it is your equipment, and you can choose what price to sell it for. GL

Hmm. GPU been scrypt mined on for likely 24/7, overclocked, failing fan..
I offer $165 shipped to 54501

280x goes for about $180 after ebay and paypal fees. $250 slightly low; more like $260 is fair since ebay and paypal take almost $40 in fees from a $300 sale. $299 290 @ ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/15128006639710% fee from ebay: $29.90 2.9% + 0.30 USD fee from paypal: $8.97 total sale after fees: $260.13

If anyone is trading with Forcecast, please say so in this thread instead of keeping it to PM. I have suspicions, but nothing concrete. If Forcecast and I go forward with a trade, I will update my progress with it in this thread.Hi. I'm interested in a single MSI R9 270X, shipped to Rhinelander, WI 54501, USA, but I'll be paying only after I receive it and verify it's in working order. I offer to pay $105 in BTC (Exact BTC amount will be determined at the time of receiving it and testing it using bitstamp market rates) or $115 via my ~10 year old verified paypal account. Check my ratings, and my previous trades threads. I've been here for a long time and am true to my word. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=33107http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=ssatenethhttp://www.ebay.com/usr/ssatenethhttps://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/Ssateneth/Some threads where I sold/bought stuff. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=219185.0;allhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=370907.0;allhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=142241.0edit: changed wording, can pay with BTC or paypal now, and quoted OP in case he changes it later. i'd be interested in a 290 @ $250.
your openrig vitalia got banned from ebay? the link says invalid
ah. if you're only taking BTC, then I probably wouldnt be interested. that is a pretty good asic % low. 60's is pretty good. average is 70, and 80+ asic cards pull a ton of power at a given voltage compared to lower cards
Pistachio, make sure to attach a tracking number in the paypal transaction for your protection.
Do you mind sharing the ASIC %, obtained via GPU-Z? I like low %'s, means less thermal leakage, so less heat and power used under load at at the same voltage of a higher % card.

It's probably your USB hub. Looks like the USB miners all fail at the same time and stop mining. I'm pretty sure your first hashrate is frozen. The second is usually more accurate, and 3rd one is actual hashrate based on shares submitted.

I got a PM reply from him. It was already sold to someone else.
Who bought it? Please speak up. I find it odd that he wouldn't take an offer 20% higher from someone trusted.
