41  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7970 GPUs - 3 brands available on: June 03, 2014, 06:23:16 AM
Are they game stable? Are they reference coolers or something else? Can you check for the ASIC score on them? I'm looking for a low (<67%) score Tahiti (7950/7970/280/280X), Curacao (270/270X) or Pitcairne (7870) for the purpose of gaming.
42  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI 280X's 4 Available on: June 03, 2014, 03:14:50 AM
Will vouch for blazedout419. he's a legit member, done tons of hardware deals. Its safe to pay him first. Asking for any other terms is silly.
43  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Looking to sell GPU Mining Rigs Possible Part Out on: May 31, 2014, 10:21:57 PM
I'll pay $100 for your lowest ASIC % 270X, provided its game stable.

Or $140 shipped for your lowest ASIC % 280X, provided its game stable.

I only need 1 graphics card. Let me know.
44  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 6x 290X Tri-X and 5X 280X Toxic (Sapphire Radeon 3 fans) on: May 29, 2014, 06:58:59 PM
I'd like to get retail prices for used, mined on equipment too, but I know thats an outrageous request, and I hope you know too.

Fair prices would be close to ~180 shipped for the 280x, and ~300 shipped for the 290x, not counting possible international shippign expenses if you can ship international too.
45  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Server PSU, please help. on: May 28, 2014, 02:28:15 AM
Usually the fat tabs are 12v and ground, because they will hold the greatest load. Looks like you have 4 pairs of 12v+ground (left/right and top/bottom). There is likely also a power sense that is supposed to be attached to 12v, and a power on pin that, when grounded, turn on the power supply when combined with the sense > 12v. One of the small pins should also be a standby 5v that always puts out 5v.

I didnt know scrypt FPGA existed. I thought it went GPU -> ASIC for scrypt.
47  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Habanero Project - Third Party HF Mining Board on: May 23, 2014, 07:07:32 PM
Any reason to not just go all out and use the H110?

"going all out" is relative. Instead of using some closed loop system, why not make your own? I honestly think a 2x120mm radiator (let alone 1x120mm) is far too small for such a huge load such as the hashfast chip (600W or more). The included fans likely don't have very good air pressure either.
48  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Radeon R9 270X (or similar/better) in USA on: May 23, 2014, 03:13:04 AM
I have two MSI 270's (not 270x) and a 7970 that I'd like to get rid of...  The 7970 is a powercolor, the 270's are MSI so they have the warranty that transfers.  It has about 2 1/2 years left on it.  I'd want more than $105 each , though..

Yeah I understand where you are coming from. Lots of people are breaking down their racks/equipment right now though. I'm just waiting for the right deal to come. Good luck, thanks for the interest.

Keep the offers coming.

Got a brand new xfx 270x. Bought 6 but I couldn't get the 6th card to work in my mobo.

Got a model number? ASIC %? What do you mean by you couldn't get the 6th card to work? Is it defective?

51  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Radeon R9 270X in USA on: May 21, 2014, 02:47:46 PM
I've got 2 month old MSI R9 280X that hash at 690kh easily - but I need $200 shipped.

I have 6 of them

Smiley

Yeah I probably wouldn't be interested at that price. Going by the 3dmark scores of a 280x versus a 270x, I'd only be able to offer you about $140.

Due to being new/sealed, and "cream of the crop", I could bump up my offer to $125 (in btc, specific amount determined at the time of sending according to preev.com), but due to your lack of trust ratings, I would only be willing to pay after I've received it. I'll make good on my word. I've got years of positive reviews/trust, which you can look at in my sig below this post.

Keep the offers coming.

Please bear in mind, I have no plans to be mining the card. It'll be used strictly for gaming. If it's been mined on for months and you still want to sell it to me, make sure you run it through a vigorous testing of 3D, such as repeat loops of 3DMark, or Furmark, or OCCT GPU 3D with error checking enabled. I'll be doing the same thing when I get the card if its used, and if it fails in any way (artifacts, black screen, vibrating fans, etc), I'll be asking for a refund.
52  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Radeon R9 270X (or similar/better/nvidia) in USA on: May 20, 2014, 08:16:59 PM
I'm looking to purchase a single Radeon R9 270X, shipped to me in zip code 54501, USA. I have great trust ratings/reviews all around. Must be game stable with no signs of bad fans, artifacting, or anything that would indicate it's less than perfect condition.

I'm looking to spend $95 shipped. $100 if the ASIC Quality is lower than 67% (Check this in GPU-Z). I would be paying with paypal, and would be paying before or after receiving it as goods or friends/family, depending on how much I feel I can trust you (Very low/nonexistant trust = paid after I receive it. Excellent solid trust = paying before I receive). Tracking number mandatory, but use whatever shipping service you want (USPS/UPS/Fedex/Speedee/etc)

I might be open to getting similar cards that are the same performance or higher at a similar price/performance, but don't expect any amazing offers. I am open to nvidia cards as well, at a similar price/performance.
53  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 600W Power Supply Box on: May 15, 2014, 04:08:30 PM
Guys I think he's only selling the box, and not the actual power supply.

I do not understand your reasoning behind writing this. You sent me a message on ebay and asked me. I told you the listing is for the actual 600W power supply.

It's a common scammer tactic on ebay to list the box, then the buyer gets angry when they get just the box when they were expecting what was INSIDE the box. I see you canceled the auction and relisted it to indicate you arent selling just the box anymore. You should maybe edit your OP to indicate you aren't selling a box anymore. (you might be implying you are selling the actual power supply, but so long as it says you are selling the power supply BOX, I think you are just selling the box and not the power supply)

btw, don't think many people will bite on this, regardless.  when it comes to power supply, brand means everything. it could be labeled as a 1000 watt power supply, but if it has shit parts in it because its a no-name brand, you'd be lucky if it powered 150 watts without blowing up and burning up your more valuable PC equipment like CPU, RAM, video card, hard drive, etc.

$100 PPUSD for 1 game stable 270x? +$5 if asic % is lower than 65% (found in gpu-z)

Any idea if the R9 290 can be successfully flashed to full fledged 290X?

Can you price match to the thread further down that says $130 for asus R9 280x's?
59  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASUS R9 280x Excellent condition $130 SHIPPED PAYPAL US ONLY on: May 11, 2014, 02:44:52 AM
Yes, I understand that I am protected should he fail to deliver, but it's the principle of the thing. In my mind, if the seller is not legit, it'll play out like this.

I send him money, he sends nothing or sends an empty box. During this period where I wait for the package or tracking number, he withdraws the money and gets cash in hand. I start the chargeback process, I win, paypal sends me back my money, minus shipping costs for sending back the empty box. He's $260 richer, throws away/ignores his paypal account, which may or may not even belong to him, and disappears.

If it was in no way possible for the seller to withdraw the money until I confirmed I had the graphics card and it was in good working condition, then by all means, I would pay up, but this is not the case.
60  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASUS R9 280x Excellent condition $130 SHIPPED PAYPAL US ONLY on: May 10, 2014, 11:27:50 AM
Guys, I can just take these to ebay if everyone is going to ask me to do ridiculous things like ship them the item before payment.  My accepted payment is clearly stated:  paypal or bitcoin.  If you have a problem with that and don't think the paypal system will take proper care of you if I end up being fraudulent then keep moving to the next listing which is offering a similar card at over $200.  I will have no problem selling these cards to a buyer who is willing to send the payment via paypal without any of these special requests so if you expect me to bend to your personal needs then don't even bother making an offer.

I am new here and I respect that you guys are used to the buyer doing anything you request since you have a "reputation" however that is not how i'm used to doing things.  Paypal has a buyer protection policy in place to prevent you from being defrauded and it protects me as well, unless I do something stupid like ship it to you before receiving payment, so like I said, if you don't like the terms, move on to the next listing.  Thanks

Why would I throw out my YEARS of legitimate positive feedback for $260 worth of equipment? I'm offering you a fair deal. It's a great way for you to get your foot in the door here by trading with a well-trusted member under their terms here. Assuming it all goes great, you'll get a positive trust rating, probably a vouch saying "Okay guys, this guy is legit, you can feel better trading with him. He's just trying to offload some equipment quickly" and a much more positive experience being here.

I'm just trying to help you out. You get the perk of trading with someone who has years of positive feedback under his belt and getting this whole mess cleared up, and I get the graphics cards I want for gaming. What's so hard about that?

Edit: By the way, I noticed that you said you would mail these first class, but that is not possible since the video cards individually weigh more than 13 ounces. You will have to ship them USPS parcel or priority (the price difference is minor between the two but priority [2-3 days] is faster than parcel [2-9 days]), or similar UPS/Fedex services.

The -only- scenario where I would pay first is if you did list them on ebay, in which I would pay $145 each. That would cover the additional 10% fee that ebay incurs, and you get a little bit extra in your pocket after the fact.
