If you haven't made any investment than you might not loss anything form such scam cloud mining sites but if you are talking about sites which will mine using your CPU than you should close all your browsers and programs from taskbar and uninstall any software you have downloaded form the site.

We shouldn't compare between bitcoin market in 2013 and now as many things has changed in last 4 years mainly support for bitcoin. People are going crazy about bitcoin and they will never miss the opportunity to buy cheap coins whenever they can during huge dump/correction like the recent one.

When all profit takers will end up selling all their holdings, newbie buyers will pump the coin to new ATH again and same gonna happen before new year on jan next year.

Price will not go back up again for sure as XVG doesn't have strong buy support, the biggest pump on crypto history gonna end up with biggest dump. Price has already dumped  hard in terms of bitcoin and it is still on free fall.

I might catch some at between 300 to 500 sat per XVG range.

Yes I think price will recover faster than how it has dumped in past. Recovery to over $25k is possible within next few weaks, new year is waiting for new ATH price.

Support for bitcoin is really strong now again near $15,000 which is good sign for another huge surge.

Not in few years, price can go beyond $50,000 within 2018. Market is still bullish and the one who want to take profit have already made exit before Christmas. Now people have already started to buy bitcoin back and price is on its way to set new ATH. $30,000 by mid of 2018 and over $50k by end of the year 2018 is possible if current trend continues.

What you are referring to is known as day trading and yes it is possible and actually many elite traders are earning handsome profit with such trading but it is quite risky because of high price volatility so you need to only invest what you can afford to loss.

No it can't be recovered that's why bitcoin is the scariest and safest assets/currency, if it was possible than people will take out billions of dollar worth of bitcoin that is unused and locked inside satoshi's earlier address.
