81  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: August 21, 2013, 08:47:17 PM
weak hands or being smart? I just think this sounds to much like a huge mining bond than anything else, if hashfast is legit and delivers perhaps the price will go up but only time will tell,
82  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 02:24:43 AM
Social darwinism.

Sure... there is reason why the public blindly follow people like Carl Icahn and Warren Buffet, considering that they are worth billions of dollars probably has nothing to do with that right? right??
83  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 02:16:17 AM
What relevance does that have? Anyone who judges people based on their wealth is a complete and utter arsehole. Sadly, that applies to far too many people on these forums.

Net worth has relevance in the investing world considering it shows that they have a proven track record of good decision making, maybe its sad to you but to me and a lot of my peers consider net worth something that matters
84  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 02:14:36 AM
That is not the same as owning the company!

Nobody said you don't have any legal claims, or that you don't have a contract with them. But you don't own their company, because these are not regular stock exchange shares!

For fucks sake, really. I'm putting you back on my ignore list, you're pissing me off.

this is wrong.. regardless of whether the company is not listed on a market they have sold 70% of their company to the public, regardless of whether BTCT goes away they should still be obligated to pay shareholders since that is how they came to fruition... what about when GLBSE closed? Friedcat still maintained a list of shareholders and when a new exchange opened he continued to keep to his contract

If we didnt believe Labcoin would do the same in a similar situation why the hell are you investing in their company? fact is 70% of the company is OWNED by investors

both of you are dumb.. im going to watch tv
85  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 02:01:45 AM
its pointless to argue with either of you, regardless of whether its a game or not money is involved and works like the stock market

the company issues shares and promise we invest based on that then the valuation will find itself once they are selling hardware and mining, I am not saying they are obligated to do anything but this is how it works and calling it a game isnt going to save it from scrutiny if the govt decides to do anything

both of you are just bantering uselessly,
86  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 01:57:03 AM
I would bet that even if you added up the net worth of both of these people it would not even equal 100 BTC
87  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 21, 2013, 01:50:12 AM
This kid isn't going to make it far..
I tried.

What has JB said that was incorrect because most of what I read was pretty dead on,

this also coming from the same person who said that Asicminer was done? it seems you are arguing for the sake of arguing and you are only embarrassing yourself by replying regardless of whether it is called a "game" 70% of the company was sold to the public hence that is what we own of the company,

it is extremely disheartening to read your posts considering that all you seem to do is talk down to people who are probably better off than you,
88  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 08:51:57 PM
also yes everyone sell while FC hasnt updated so that when he does you can completely miss out on the upward movement, this isnt panic selling or anything  Roll Eyes
89  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 08:48:38 PM
Oh, so the people who sold at 4.95 right now are silly?
AM is struggling right now with hashrate distribution, power issues, etc.  Their share price is consistently dropping.  Sell now.
FC is literally becoming the victim of his own success.
The growing stage of AM is long over.  Growth needs to increase faster than the network hashrate to actually grow value, and I don't see how AM could possibly do that anymore, and it is very obvious they haven't been lately.  Investing in a good start-up right now is the only smart way to invest right now in Bitcoin securities.

Yes everyone move a majority of your equity to speculative stocks.... it is the only smart move.... suggesting this to people is pretty much the same as telling them to choose penny stocks over a well established company with a proven track record

Do you think that FC is twiddling his thumbs just not doing anything? hes more than likely working extremely hard in order to advance his company,

perhaps to someone who needs to make a bigger risk heavy play in order to build a bankroll this is a mediocre idea however a majority of the shares are held privately off the exchanges, maybe some people who have no money will listen but this is perhaps the worst advice you can give to anyone

Whose to say that some people dont already hold large positions in a majority of the mining companies out there? at least the ones positioned for the highest success, its also funny that you go to say that AM is long over considering that the valuation of this company far exceeds anything of its competition and also offers a high yield dividend,

are those who sold off at 4.9 silly? No? this is a rhetorical question, what is silly is you advising people to move their equity to speculative stocks instead of staying with someone who has a proven history of underselling and over delivering

edit:changed good to mediocre cause its not smart at all to do what you advised

bump for other offers east coast cars take priority, original post said that I was looking to purchase immediately however to avoid future confusion I am not in any rush to purchase just looking for the best option possible,

Got many Audi offers BMWs and Mercedes take priority over them, no bimmers in the BTC community?
91  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 18, 2013, 11:27:14 PM
Damn eb, talk about right place right time your account is a year old and you got to ride both the BTC and AM train, im crying on the inside of how much wealthier I would be had I known about the securities section.. Fuck.

forgot to add: Congrats!
92  Economy / Securities / Re: XPM Coin Miner [ONLY 41 remaining!!!!] XPM Computing Mining Subscriber Shares on: August 18, 2013, 08:57:12 PM
If you reread what I have wrote,

I never said that he/she was dumping them, I said that he/she Probably (a non definitive word) was

if you look back at the charts of PPC another coin created by sunny king it was dumped on and now XPM lower than what it once was, just going by what im seeing nothing against your venture,

best of luck
93  Economy / Securities / Re: XPM Coin - Pay in BTC for 1 Share Subscription - XPM Computing Mining Service on: August 18, 2013, 05:03:30 PM
wasnt primecoin created by sunnyking? everything this person has created has been dumped on why would it be smart to invest in something that is most likely created by a person who is probably dumping them on everyone else?

id stick with coins created by people who are actually reputable, just like how the CEO is one of the most important reasons of the success of a company im going to assume it transfers over to alt coins and those who create them,

94  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB Used Mercedes BMW Lexus Tesla on: August 17, 2013, 11:30:16 PM
Have you thought of going to a dealership and offering to buy a car if they signup/accept Bitpay with the conditions that they wont sell (sign bill of sale) until money hits their bank account.

I have thought about selling a few large things but wont take bitcoin directly, I would want Bitpay deposit to hit my bank account before bill of sale is signed.  This is normal for some very large purchases like airplanes.

I appreciate the suggestion however would like to keep it simple and purchase through a private sale rather than go dealer to dealer and try to explain to them the process of accepting BTC,

95  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB Used Mercedes BMW Lexus Tesla on: August 17, 2013, 04:37:02 PM
still looking for more options please and thank you!,
96  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 13, 2013, 07:02:34 PM
You still have not replied about the locking of shares.

This has been repeated so many times why? Do you think that CEO's of real companies lock their shares on the real market? Easy answer NO.

these guys have large positions in their company perhaps they are doing us a favor for not having more than 25%? they have more to gain if they are being legit than they do selling off now, how stupid can you be?

So many people here just make me face smash my keyboard, no common sense, no logic behind anything just straight up panic
97  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 13, 2013, 06:56:01 PM
No people freaked out because so many people are horrible at investing
98  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 13, 2013, 06:55:29 PM
Its ok Swede thanks for coming in its pretty obvious these people who need to have their hands held through investing have to much on the line,

How about being smart and not putting in more than what you can afford to lose so that you can actually get the full value for your investment instead of just selling for no reason at all
99  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 13, 2013, 06:52:19 PM
Ever care to also think that Swede probably hasnt heard anything back from Sam Noi? Perhaps hes not answering because he doesnt know whats going on, instead people just go with the latter and start spreading rumors of how he sold off his shares because hes not answering... some good logic here

Lol wow so hilarious exactly as I post this swede says exactly what I figured.... People are moronic
100  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 13, 2013, 06:49:58 PM
its hilarious to watch people squirm, some of the weakest hands ive ever seen

as much as the forum is a good means of communication it is also crap because so many people just follow herd mentality, when are people going to learn that good traders/investors are contrarian, if your doing what everyone else is doing you are failing.

so what if swede doesnt answer? its pretty apparent that alot of people do not trade any other markets aside of BTC and its securities, how about you go play the real markets and see if you can bother the CEO's of companies if your a tiny home game investor, please... people need to gain a more realistic concept of how the world works or you will never make any money in this game,

keep selling off I sold off a good chunk yesterday to rebuy and things are going exactly as planned
