Holydarkness

"God, I do hope it's for years instead of very short time, because if you're there just for a month or two, judging from the total amount withdrawn and that 70 USD is one month worth of living, you must have lived a lavish life."

I was there for 4 months and I apologize because English is not my first language but there was some things that needed done and some family debts to take care of so,,,,, to answer your question in very few words,,,

I bought myself a TV, GTX 1070ti and 240hz monitor, except for the bills and rent and everything, it was a good life for a few months I'm not gonna lie and I enjoyed every second of it

This.

I am not trying to humiliate you for where you come from, no one is, so you can stop thinking that way and repeating that fact every now and then. But, to emphasize the point I am trying to convey, for four months, you managed to gather around 13 months worth of salaries, of which you spent for... I don't think those items are exactly necessary, do they? They're leaning more toward luxurious items.

And now you complained and tell they scammed you and that you asked them for 70 USD because you can't pay rent, bills, and groceries? Because the total amount in your account that's being confiscated are the entire fund you have for those? From those 13 months worth of salaries, you spent them all in those items?

And to address your earlier post about how the blame is partly theirs, I don't think it's necessarily true, they require their customers to read the ToS, and if the customer skipped them then breached one or two of the clause, can they be blamed because they did not put a warning for multi-acc?

holydarkness you must not have any idea how much a dollar is worth in some poor countries, in my country people do labour work all day for just a mere $1.80 and 4 out of 10 people in our country when their education is completed they go abroad they earn real money and send it back home so that their families dont have to go through poverty for their entire life, thats how much worse our country is when it comes to economy, from your comment i get the feeling that you are calling me a lier, if i was not ashamed of my country i would said it by now, when im playing international video games like RPGs, when someone asks me where im from i always lie, why? because our country is just that bad and its not just me, its everyone, there was gonna be a revolution on 9th May but our army captured and unalived people who wanted to speak up and start a riot for their own rights... maybe you are from a peaceful country where there is freedom of speech and human rights but it doesnt exist here and when it comes to money, dont even ask about our economic system

Nope, I am not questioning whether you're saying the truth or not about how much 1 USD worth in your country, I am not even wondering which country you're from, I'm simply asking how long have you been playing in Rollbit.
83  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit just disabled my account and scammed my money on: May 09, 2024, 08:02:13 PM
unfortunately yes we did claimed some coupons but we did not know it will lead to accounts being disabled, they could have given a warning like "if you do this again your account will be disabled" and i would have apologized and said i will not ever do that again if it would lead to my account being disabled, but outright disabling accounts without any warning and stealing away the money in rollbit wallet is highway robbery if im being blunt, this is not okay, and i will apologize and do anything if rollbit will give me my dollars back but their every reply is like, "we cant provide further information" "account is permanently banned" "we cant give you your money back" and everything along the lines in which they dont give any real explanation and anything

Then sadly, they're within their right to approach your accounts and statements with degree of suspicion, as they deemed you abused their bonus when you both activated those coupons within the same household. It is a common knowledge that crypto casino forbid multiple accounts. I am interested in knowing how do you not aware of this, given [from what I can infer from your narrative] you're quite familiar with e-sports betting.

Oh, also, I'm a bit curious about this, probably unrelated, but... where you come from, 70 USD is a month of rent, bills, and groceries, right? 140 USD is two months salaries?

How long have you been in Rollbit, again? God, I do hope it's for years instead of very short time, because if you're there just for a month or two, judging from the total amount withdrawn and that 70 USD is one month worth of living, you must have lived a lavish life.

84  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc.game and stake.com originals casino games are 100% a scam on: May 09, 2024, 07:51:52 PM
Ignoring what Mahdirakib's feedback said about you... you do aware that their games are provably fair? And you do understand what provably fair means and how it works?
You may ignore the feedback, not the truth Grin. OP isn't new to gambling, he knows how everything works. Still, he won't stop complaining as he is unable to control the emotion after losing his bankroll. He was complaining about his losses in the casinos ANN thread before, now he decided to take further steps by creating unnecessary scam accusations. OP is still playing on Stake even though he showed dissatisfaction about Stake bonus in 2021: Stake.com lying and cheating its "VIP" customers

LMAO, sorry. Dictionary must have left my brain for a moment when I posted that. I didn't mean to "disregard" your feedback. I was trying to say, "I'll set Mahdirakib's feedback aside for a moment, but even doing so, you do aware that [...]" and so on, in a sense that "even without counting Mahdirakib's feedback into consideration, you sounded like you just venting up your frustration upon losing in streak."

Rollbit is actually one of few that allows multiple account [with case-by-case consideration]. The more complete clauses of the one being snipped here, reads like this:

However, the limitation and restriction of multi-acc is also further explained in other clause,

So, OP, did you and your brother uses any bonus during your stay at Rollbit?
86  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Stake.com missing bet ID and I suspect it's intentionall! on: May 09, 2024, 04:17:59 PM
I'm a bit unclear about one thing and will appreciate if you can clarify it, is the only thing that missing is the betID [i.e. you can't find the result of it on your betting history] or is the amount won also uncredited to your account?

The winnings were not credited, since the betID is missing from my stake account and their bet archive. However, on pragmatic play replay the bet id and winnings are available.

I understand. Thank you for the clarification. I initially thought only the betID is missing, if this is the case, there was an old case about player inquiring of missing betID, and it was simply "missing" because they archieve some bets, and that player can always look for their previous bet by manually filtering the history.

As it's been made clear that there is no misunderstanding [that the aspect being missing is not just the betID, but also the amount won], I'll advise to wait for few more days while their team sort this out.

Hi,

Thanks all for the advise and confidentiality advice its much appreciated. I'll get working on what yous have all said.

To be honest at this stage I don't care about personal compensation, it's more about creating awareness as to how these companies operate.

At the start it was chasing losses, but this company will keep preying upon vulnerable gamblers such as myself so by raising this hopefully it helps to protect me whilst i go into rehab again, as well as helping to prevent the same thing happening to others.

It's good to hear that you're going into rehab. I hope it works for good this time. If I may suggest, to help preventing you from a relapse in the future, you might be interested to look into gambling blocking software like gamblock? I don't think they're free, but they might help to a degree.

90  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io - A Case of Selective Withdrawal Approval and Dubious Practices on: May 08, 2024, 06:18:39 PM
I don't think Sportsbet gives bonuses for sports gambling. The other reasons aren't plausible because of the markets bet and dollar amount. No book cares about a $500 bettor in a major market. It's not going to draw attention.

My guess is banned jurisdiction but I could be wrong. The whole point is that no advantage was gained by the bets of the player. We have to start treating these cases as they would with a fiat book. Fiat and crypto have almost identical ToS. Books just apply the ToS differently. I play at crypto books because I don't want to be hassled and believe that the bitcoin price will rise. There's too much hassle going on with some of the crypto books.

Assuming that OP did accessing from UK, and thus violate their restricted region ToS, I believe this question you made earlier are now answered?

[...]Sportsbet - give us one reason why a guy would multi-account betting $500 in major markets?

Oh, one thing that I forgot to address on the beginning of our discussion today, that question is actually... wrongly worded. OP was never accused of multi-acc, he simply got his account blocked upon withdrawal request, which now [if we assume the UK theory] become apparent why such situation happened to OP and why would a guy pull a stunt for USD 500 bet.

Nonetheless, moving on, I am still interested in knowing more about your method to "figure out any crime" as it might be beneficial for future cases, so I'd like to repeat, "how do we figure motivation and intent? I assume user's narrative plays a big role in it, so it invites a question of how do we know they tell the truth and not hiding things, thus obscuring his intent and motivation?"
91  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one unethical and don't abide by responsible gambling on: May 08, 2024, 05:44:40 PM
Hi, thanks for heeding my advise and create your own complain thread. Can you edit your post to meet below format? It'll make things easier to understand at glance,

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

And can you provide those conversation in screenshots instead of copy-paste the entire convo here? It'll be much better and a tad bit more credible that way. You can upload the screenshot to talkimg, I'll quote them for visibility.

update:
I still have not received any response from Sportsbet.io and from the specified user on bitcointalk although he was online more than once and even made a post in the sportsbet.io thread. it looks like sportsbet.io does not care about my case. They are just stealing my winnings and even all of my deposits...

OP, my apology, it seems I missed your post [and your entire situation, LOL] in the middle of my discussion with Rating Place. I noticed that you haven't reply to my previous inquiry, do you mind to address it?

Hi, OP, I see that you've been online from time to time. First I noticed was on 13th of April, and then again on 20th. Can you please confirm if you're accessing SB from Germany, and thus, from a restricted access? Your silence will make people assume the answer is "yes", and thus this scam accusation is not valid as SB do everything according to the rule.

I'd be waiting for a couple of more days before having to strongly assume that above narrative is true and mark this case as invalid. I am hoping for your cooperation.
93  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io - A Case of Selective Withdrawal Approval and Dubious Practices on: May 08, 2024, 05:10:01 PM
I am failed to understand how do you find a connection and similarities of this case with one from BC. How is this case similar with BC and which case is it? OP barely tell us the whole story, and evaded my attempt to breakdown his complaints. I personally think there are a lot more than meet the eyes with OP's case, let alone make a connection on similarities with cases with BC.

And how do you figure motivation and intent, if I may ask? How do we know if someone tell the whole truth and made his intent clear instead of hiding things and distort his intent?
we know there wasn’t ill intent since the only reason to multi-account is to circumvent limits and abuse bonuses. OP did neither.

I’ve seen cases at Betcoin where a player makes bets from a banned jurisdiction. Betcoin cancels winnings and returns the deposit.

Sportsbet has to stop stealing deposits on first time infractions. And if they claim double spend, then prove it instead of using ToS “ in our sole discretion”.

Speaking in general manner, I would like to argue that the reason for multi acc is not strictly to circumvent limit [an action made by casinos where they only allows player to place bet to certain value at max] or abusing bonuses. There are numerous others. Evading ban, evading self-exclusion, manipulating gambling pattern detection [they made new account before their abusive gambling pattern triggered casino's flags], even bypassing limit [as in withdrawal limit, not the betting limit] imposed for an account.

Speaking specifically for this case, how do we know that this player does not abuse bonus or do anything detrimental?

And circling back to my original question, how do we figure motivation and intent? I assume user's narrative plays a big role in it, so it invites a question of how do we know they tell the truth and not hiding things, thus obscuring his intent and motivation?
94  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io - A Case of Selective Withdrawal Approval and Dubious Practices on: May 08, 2024, 04:34:42 PM
This case is the same as the one against BC.game. In both instances the players made bets in major sports leagues. Here it's NBA and EPL. There's no reason to multi-account. BC.game made the right decision and decided to pay the player. Sportsbet should do the same.

When trying to figure out any crime, look for the motivation and intent to commit a crime. The OP has no reason to commit a crime here and multi-account. The dollar amounts aren't circumventing limits and the lines are never advantageous at Sportsbet. Pay the player.

Sportsbet - give us one reason why a guy would multi-account betting $500 in major markets?

For some reason, I can't open https://stake.com/responsible-gambling/exclusion on my end. Maybe I have to be logged into my account for it to work. Anyways, it doesn't matter. All those responsible gambling policies are only there to make it look like online casinos are trying so hard to prevent problem gamblers from gambling. But it's so easy to bypass on Curacao-licensed casinos that, in most cases, don't require KYC at sign up.

It's really simple in the end. Gambling addiction or not, if you want to gamble, you will gamble. If not, you don't. If you have made that mental decision to stop, it will happen. Gambling addiction is sadly a weakness of the mind, and players don't want to admit it.

Yes, I believe you have to be logged in to access the page. It wasn't there when I first looking into it without an account.

As for gambling addiction, though I am [luckily] not one of them myself, so I can't know precisely how they are, I'll argue that it is not that simple. It's a serious thing that there are organizational bodies that tries to help and facilitate "detoxification". Some people probably can get over those situation themselves as they have strong will, but some needs third parties intervention to get over the situation, so I think saying it's as simple as having a mental decision to stop has a tendency of oversimplicating the issue.
96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc.game and stake.com originals casino games are 100% a scam on: May 08, 2024, 02:57:05 PM

You people should listem to yourselves.
Still it's simple math probability. You don't lose 10 or 15 in a row every 3 minutes, that doesn't happen in a fair game. The odds of this happening once in a session are already tiny, but several times within a short time span? Impossible!
And as I said, in every session I win like 4-6 in a row from time to time, not more. But losing 10-15 in a row several times on a 49% chance is just insanity. If I would win 10-15 at least 1 time it's ok, but I never do. Every session I lose the majority of spins, by a wide margin while I should win at least half of them. I am aware of sample size and so on, but if I lose the majority every single time even though the odds are slighltly in my favor this is impossible.By the way, just tried another one of BC's original scam games, Limbo. And I lost 27 times in a row on a 25% win chance. 27 in a row, yet insanity again.

BC and Stake are a scam. Everybody knows it, reddit and their forums are full of it. People are losing 20 BJ hands in a row on these sites, but you clowns say it's all good, haha.

Have you try to expose their "100% scam" behavior through the PV method they provides? If you haven't, please do. Come back here with evidence of it, we'll surely take a look into them.

And for the bolded part, I understand you're ok with winning 4-6 times in a row, didn't question their provability etc., but outraged when you lose in a row?
97  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 💥✅Stake.com Urgent Message Regarding Stake.com Forum Members on: May 08, 2024, 02:51:54 PM

It's becoming normal already even in banks, they are asking about the source of funds when you deposit a large amount. Stake could just be following government policy just like the rest of the casinos today. Not gonna be surprised anymore, when the government asks them to do their duty, they have to.

Users are also suspicious about this stuff like withholding some funds upon withdrawal, like any other bank today, it becomes their business to ask even the details and purpose of withdrawal which is annoying as well.

SoW level KYC are required upon suspicion of ML and/or the player deposited big money, true, but on recent cases, their request for level-4 KYC were a tad bit questionable. KosherMania, for example, deposited "only" USD 7,500. And the real issue here, IMO, is that they keep rejecting the document he submitted and asking for things that's more and more impossible.

Case on point, they asked him to provide a letter from their employer, signed and stamped, explaining that he do work on that company, and they specifically asked for it after he explained that he'll be in trouble if the employer know he gambled. Not to mention they asked for it after they rejected other documents that CG even commented that they can read the content and "validate" them just fine.

It opens to a fair question of the real purpose of asking such document.

Hello, sorry for waking an old thread. It come to my awareness that this case and the casino are currently not on my list yet. I guess I must have someow missed it. Apology for that.

I did a quick re-reading the whole case and get myself re-acquainted. I think it's safe to assume that for this case, there is no scam happened since the bet was returned. And thus, I am marking this as resolved on my list.

OP, if you feel that this status is unjustified, you're more than welcome to argue, accompanied with valid reason, and I am more than happy to reconsider the situation from your angle.
lol what? they returned my deposit after a lot of bickering. They never paid me on my winnings.
Doubt that would have been the case had I lost!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!

I understand. I'll reopen this case by marking it as "in progress" under the basis that we're waiting for their representative to explain further about the circumstances around your case [I can't mark it as active, as their representative already attended the thread, though only once and never returned].

Something worth mentioning though, I don't think it'll be resolved, there is another case open for them, and they're not attended by their representative.

Yeah, if he wanted Stake support to close his account, he should have done it properly. This message that he sent is not it. He is praising the casino and asks for cashback because he is "crying all day". This looks more like begging and asking the casino for some bonus credits and not asking to have his account frozen.

I am not sure what responsible gambling tools Stake has, but most probably their is a self-exclusion procedure and tools to limit deposits, losses, time spent wagering, etc.

Other than what they've instructed on their guide [screenshot of it below], to write an email to their support, requesting it, they also have an "instant" self-exclusion procedure where we don't have to write that email [screenshot of it also below], alongside with the standard 24h cool-down period prior to longer exclusion, though it seems they don't have a "self-service" exclusion like other casino I know.

The way I understand it, the player will have to click the self-exclusion request, and they'll have to confirm via email sent to the player. Interestingly, I am yet to receive that email, though I've clicked the self-exclusion button from like half an hour ago
