681  Other / Meta / Re: We are going to miss the Mixer Campaign in Bitcointalk forum on: January 01, 2024, 11:29:25 AM
[...]
Umm... isn't having this thread a little bit counterproductive? The rule that'll take effect on 1 January will "remove" threads about this topic, so... why bother having a discussion about it? Especially as the content is rather pointless; I think anyone knows that the managers will close their campaign around this time, if they haven't already.

When the thread purpose was met,I will ready to lock this thread.I hope this thread may help any of the participants of Yomix or Mixer.io for sure.Because they are still waiting for their manager confirmation.Today it’s last day of the rule,So this thread visibility may help to remove their signature.

[...]

The purpose of this thread is to... remind campaign manager to stop their campaign and help participants of the campaigns to get confirmation that the campaign they participating participated are closed? Yeah, that make sense. They'll clearly check this thread instead of waiting for the confirmation on the respective service thread or from their telegram channel.
682  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: January 01, 2024, 11:22:01 AM
January 1, 2024 has already arrived on the forum for more than 5 hours, which means a new era has begun without mixer signatures on the bitcointalk.

Those who didn't have time to change their signature should prepare for an unplanned vacation. Smiley

Doesn't work like that, signature containing such words will be blanked and it'll happen gradually. It's not like anyone who still wear such signature today will be purged by instant ban like the night of tenth plague of egypt, so people who happen to be away from the forum and still have not yet get any chance to change their sig, as long as they're not posting [and thus "actively" promoting], will not have to take vacation

I heard somewhere, I can't recall where exactly, maybe on some gas station toilet wall, that sh*t floats on water. But what is it's relevance to this topic I have yet to discover.😂🤦‍♂️

It'll float if it's gassy or fiber rich. Healthy one will sink. And yes, I am not sure of the relevance to the topic as well.

Also obvious alts should not be allowed to cast a vote, I mean those with low merits and same post and activity counts.

They are not. For someone to be eligible for a vote, they'll need 50 earned merits.
684  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [exit scam waiting to happen] [banned mixer] self-vouching | Type 1 Flag on: December 31, 2023, 05:26:06 PM
I will see to it that this site is scrubbed across all BitMixList mirrors.

Instead of being scrubbed, which will bring a potential scenario where someone stumbled upon the site and consulting to your site, seeing it not there and think it's fine, would you consider to have a section of list that should be proceed with caution? That way, the potential risk of dealing with such site will still be made known and we can mitigate the possibility of victim falling into uncomfortable situation
685  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Bitcoin mixer | 50+ BTC in reserves are confirmed! on: December 31, 2023, 05:21:19 PM
Umm... this is you confirming that you're astroturfing? You create a fake complaint by your own account to boost credibility from an impression that you're trustworthy enough to solve such big transaction in a very short time?

Yes, it is. But we can't understand why "in a very short time"? This kind of problem is solved very quickly when two parties (the operator and the client) have contacted each other. There's nothing here that could take a lot of time.  Wink

Just to give you one more chance to clarify, you openly acknowledge that you made a fake situation and complaint, you pretended to be a customer, made a complaint, and then you solve it easily, given there were no case at all? Do you even fully understand what you just admitted and the implication behind this marketing strategy?

Somehow they have concluded that it is acceptable for them to fake a transaction that was not completed by a user that they controlled and they resolved the issue

Which user are you talking about?
It was just us. We didn't "control" anyone.

Just tell us this, does the account Niquoles is yours or under your control, and the issue he raised is fake and was aimed purely to gain audience and boost their confidence in your platfrm because you "evidently" solve the case and refund the user's money promptly?

Edit: I think I was a bit sleepy when I wrote this, made two similar question in one post.
687  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: December 30, 2023, 09:10:19 PM
Can you provide the address of the sender of that email? If it's a phishing attempt and the email was not from BC officials, they can confirm it here. In form of a screenshot with your credential censored will be much appreciated.

Email looks real:
Code:
 support@bc.game

Yes, I deliberately forgot my password to see who will send me a password reset email, and I can confirm if it's the same one as you provided, so a phishing attempt can somewhat be crossed from the list. Do you mind checking your gmail online session? See if someone accessed it from different place than yours and he's been the one who keep requesting a password reset to gain access to your account.

Anyway, whatever that is, I noticed that the reset password email only give a link to reset and not a link that said "this is not me" that'll prompt them to lock the account from any further breach attempt. By your consent, I will send a PM to their support team and asking him to temporarily block your account for requesting any further password reset and perhaps isolating your IP that only your IP can access the platform, at least for the time being.
688  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: December 30, 2023, 08:46:54 PM
Have you ever experienced any emails like a reset password from a BC game recently? Or is it just me and my friend who might have gotten either our browser or our email exposed to some third-party site?

I use BC games a lot, even when their thread is not active here. I still play win and withdraw, but it has been close to a week since I last visited the casino. Today I got a message from my friend asking if I was the one trying to reset his password, which I declined because it was not me, and I taught it was an error from his end, but getting the same email this evening again is what I don't understand, and I did not request a change of password.

I have used one dedicated email for all my casino accounts, and they are just used for casino only, so I don't know if this issue was from my end or that of theirs. If anyone has received such a password reset email, please let me know.

Can you provide the address of the sender of that email? If it's a phishing attempt and the email was not from BC officials, they can confirm it here. In form of a screenshot with your credential censored will be much appreciated.

You saw through our marketing ploy, confirming your importance as a trusted forum member. Our respect Smiley. But you and other users, understand... The new conditions of the forum contributed to this cunning move on our part. Our competitors spent significant amounts per month on a subscription company, and we had such goals. But blocking branches devalues costs, and it was necessary to remain in history and raise coverage at the end of existence. An aggressive marketing strategy does not make our mixer fraudulent. Yes, this fact of staging for someone will mean stopping working with our service, but others will see this as a non-standard approach to solving the problem. It was just the "yellow press" and that was it. It is inherent in all businessmen, and we are no exception. This is not a scam and we are not scammers. This proves the fact that there is not a single victim.

The reason for today's problem: a technical glitch that caused the suspension of transactions in our system. It's nothing serious.
What a convenient way to end your thread 2 days before it gets locked by Admin and all mixer owned accounts get banned from posting!

Exactly!  Wink

Umm... this is you confirming that you're astroturfing? You create a fake complaint by your own account to boost credibility from an impression that you're trustworthy enough to solve such big transaction in a very short time?

691  Economy / Reputation / Re: Symmetrick/Ratimov - Memorial Thread. on: December 30, 2023, 07:27:12 PM
The person, who hired Ratimov, hired him for a reason, right? Why didn't they hire you? So, it's logical to assume that they checked Ratimov's profile, including his posts, number of merits, trust rating, it was also their duty to check references of left trust and after that, hired Ratimov. They would notice that Ratimov was deleting or wiping his posts and topics. I think when we pay lots of money, we care about why we pay, how we pay and whom we pay. I am a very responsible person and can't imagine other people being so naive, especially those who have lots of money and run a serious project.

[...]

I'm sure it's out there somewhere but I am too lazy to dig it up, it had been explained that the team hired him because he made a very good review that really helps contributing to their platform's development.
692  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 30, 2023, 06:47:34 PM
What's Theymos going to do if someone doesn't remove their signature if they're in a mixer campaign?  Are they going to get banned?  He might have mentioned that when he made the announcement, but for the life of me I can't remember and....

The links will be removed, and will now contain text like "link removed" or something like that. By chance, I've seen this in a subscription, I don't remember which one.
In other words, signature will no longer show the name and link of the mix, just a few words that do not contain the name or link.

Perhaps you're referring to this post? I made a screenshot of what a sig will look like after the ban take effect for reference, just in case the user remove his sig., I think it's allowed to provide such screenshot? Given the name and brand is already wordfiltered.

I am interested to know more about this part, I look at your tokenomy, and there's no token allocated for the team and for development? Everything is financed from team's pocket and they got nothing in return?
Not quite like that. Yes, the project was created primarily from the desire to create this game, rather than for commercial purposes.

However, now we are allocating tokens to the team and volunteers from tokens intended for early investors - time spent is a more serious investment than money.

In the future, funds received for tokens put up for open sale will be used to support the development.

Oh? So your tokenomy changed? How much is allocated for the team, and what does the new tokenomy look like with this new added allocation? Will this be reflected on the new whitepaper?
694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 30, 2023, 10:22:36 AM

Our initial cut-off date for refund requests was 30 days.

However, based on community feedback, we have decided to extend it for a few more days until January 1st.
After this date, we will no longer process or respond to emails related to the refund request.
This has been a challenging process, but fortunately, we worked it out successfully.

Payments were scheduled to be made in batches, but to avoid confusion and other related issues, we have decided to process everything in one go.

Thank you for your cooperation.
You say that after 1st january you won't be responding to emails anymore. I'm a bit confused as I wrote mail for a refund but did not get any confirmation that it will be processed or even got received. I wouldn't get my balance forfeit because the amount wasn't smalll and on other hand I don't want to make duplicate request to not get omitted as a spam.

Well, they... I mean he changed his mind. Earlier he --apparently-- planned to refund in batch, maybe weekly or so, but then --as mentioned on the quoted text-- he'll do it all at once, so whether your refund request is already on their list or not, you'll know about it when he process them. Or... if he's kind enough to made this kind of confirmation,

[...]

@[...], to confirm, we have received your request and will process it.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Jackdaw | A Ravencoin Main Asset Token on: December 29, 2023, 07:25:23 PM
Wait, umm... so there's no token sale and all 50 tokens are distributed freely, either by airdrop or by faucet, correct? And you aimed to be the highest priced token? Do you have plan to achieve this? Given the token are gained for free, I think most will dump it right away at the slightest chance without considering any value, since they get it for free.
696  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How I got scammed by chips.gg with insane proof from their employee on: December 29, 2023, 07:19:05 PM

Let me be clear cause I see chips is trying to cover their ass. I deposited 9k on that day. On Nov 19th I withdrawn only 5 eth because that's WHAT THEY LET ME WITHDRAW. 10k a day limit after a week of blocking my withdrawals and talking to them on support. They said if I'm "Good" with them meaning I leave a 5 star review on trust pilot they'll let me withdraw more. I also tried closing my account. Sent at least 5 emails to support about self exclusion. No answer. I can't access my account now because the only way to not log in was to delete my Google authenticator.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of this conversation where they hinted you to leave a good review in trustpilot in order to open your withdrawal? And... I don't think I understand the recent development, why do you ask for self-exclusion?

Furthermore, there have been allegations suggesting that our agents requested a 5-star review in exchange for preferential treatment on our platform. We want to unequivocally state that such a practice is not only false but also contrary to our review policies, and it raises ethical concerns that we take very seriously.

Ahh... I see, OP might miunderstood the meaning of "have a good standing", thinking it means she need to be in a good term with the casino, while what the live support tried to say is to have a good reputation.

While you're here, where are we with your license, again? I see that it's still not being cleared although it's been asked two times.

- What are the main challenges and risks that the project faces, and how will the team overcome them?
Our main problem is the deficit of financing, we have few investors.

However, we decided to launch the game on self-financing, postponing some of the features that we would like to see in the game for the future.

I am interested to know more about this part, I look at your tokenomy, and there's no token allocated for the team and for development? Everything is financed from team's pocket and they got nothing in return?

I see that the deposit they shown on their screenshot seems to be cut, maybe to the next page, and since you made multiple deposits at that day, it doesn't show the same amount as you stated.

May I know why do you still deposit several times on their platform although you already have a problem with them?
699  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: December 29, 2023, 05:53:10 PM
[...] Does anyone know if the giveaway is still active? I have got some time today so planned to do it later today to claim the 10$.

It still is, they've sent to the first 50 participants a couple of weeks ago, and currently open themselves for another 50, I am quite sure they still have some slot if you or anyone else interested, I believe they'll announce it if they've reached the 100 participants quota.
700  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice.com SCAM BETS with proofs multiplier x2 on: December 29, 2023, 05:38:02 PM
I not to judge anyone of you both for being wrong or not, but the conditions to thus situation must not be left unsaid, if the gambling platform had not been trusted, someone like you wouldn't have been attracted to try using it in the first place, you must have something that makes you feel comfortable with using them for your gambling before having this encounter with them, but talking about the probably fair game, one can loose to that extent on a go, playing dice is a game of luck.

It's provably fair, as in prove-able, not probable. It means the result of the game can be traced and confirmed with a verifier that the casino did not change them at the last second to deliberately make the player lose.
