81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 02, 2024, 12:00:10 PM
What I want - A final of Bayern vs Dortmund.

What I expect - A final of Real vs PSG.

Both ties are massively close and really in the balance but Real will do what Real do and I think without their fantastic home crowd, Dortmund might not be able to sustain what they are doing in this years CL.
Do you want to see a German Clásico in the Champions League? I think that Real Madrid has a very good chance to win against Bayern Munich but I don't think that PSG is going to defeat Dortmund in Paris. Btw I am shocked that the game ended only with 1 goal, both sides had many great chances and Dortmund could easily make it 2:0 but they missed a great chance. PSG was just very unlucky, they kicked the ball to the crossbar two times in a row. The way Sule saved Mbappe's goal was just another level, a very fantastic save.
I think that we will see a finale of Real Madrid vs Dortmund but as I see, many people want PSG to win because of Mbappe. He is a phenomenal player but never managed to win the Champions League because of his club.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: May 02, 2024, 11:22:20 AM
I was panicking when I had of the upcoming bitcoin Halving because I wasn't well educated about the halving and I read about it through online resources, still I wasn't okay, so I just relax to experience the fort bitcoin Halving as they say and after the bitcoin Halving I didn't really see a significant change apart from a little drop in price! I was happy that the halving has come and gone.

Today i was just analyzing the chart and it looks like #Bitcoin is about to print new highs! I was smiling and not quiet long I carried out a transaction, I did not believe my eyes, I was devastated, the whole of my bitcoin was gone for transaction fee.

And I began to wonder is this what the Bitcoin Halving is all about???
It doesn't happen overnight, it needs some time. Yeah, Bitcoin's price increases after halving because miners receive half the amount of the previous reward. Many people think that the price should double overnight because since the halving occurs, miners receive decreased rewards but it doesn't like that, there should be a demand for Bitcoin too. The logic here is that miners have the same expanses while earning 50% less, so in order to be mining profitable for miners, they need to sell at a high price. There are exchanges and different crypto services that need Bitcoins, also miners need to sell them to pay electricity bills and some other expenses, so demand for Bitcoin rises and slowly, the price starts to rise.
You should expect Bitcoin to reach 100K or more in the next few months.

Okay, I understand that it probably wasn't beneficial because you have been advertising here for years but it really makes me curious, why did you abandon this thread?
Just two more questions if you don't mind: Where do you advertise right now and do you plan to really return here with promotions, contests, raffles, or a signature campaign...

84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2v1 MMA fight? on: May 01, 2024, 11:46:45 AM
not sure if a thread about it has been posted here.

anyway, recently videos are being recommended to me by YouTube and it is about a 2V1 MMA fight, at first I was curious and thought about how would this work and how unfair it would be for the 1 guy but to be honest I find the fight intriguing and enjoyable. now I am curious, do you think this type of fight would be popular in sportsbooks? to be honest, I think this could get popular if enough hype is put into it.

if anyone is curious here's the most recent fight that I have watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyfQRhGwcRk
Haha, very interesting, 2 against 1. When I clicked on your link, another video showed up where a 6'8 guy was fighting against a 5'3 guy, it reminded me of David and Goliath's fight because it really looks like this. There is also a slap contest where people slap each other with a huge power. Fighting is becoming very popular, I really was never a fan of fight and I don't remember any of my friends watching any kind of fight, including boxing and MMA but today it's really getting trendy.
2 vs 1 looks cool, I would happily see prime Mike Tyson vs 2 random guys. I bet such fights will generate more money than any other current fight. If they manage to agree stars to fight with 2 people, this thing will be one of the trendiest fighting events.
85  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 01, 2024, 10:41:30 AM
Through, there is something which has caught my attention when comes to these both casinos and the relation between them and their modus operandi to continue to seize other's money without giving further or valid explanation. It seems to me that since their FIAT gambling service 1xbet tries not to be so blatant or obvious when comes to selective scams or take-over people's money. They try to keep their façade of legitimacy as intact as possible while as the same time, waiting for opportunities for them to steal, there will be people out there on the internet who will claim to have had a good experience with that casino, because there was no reason for them to withdraw money using a VPN after hitting a jackpot.
On the other hand, their cryptocurrency equivalent 1xbit does not care as much for keeping their façade of legitimacy and go full on selective fraud against their gamblers.

That would explain why one can see more advertisement about 1xbet in webpages like YouTube or sponsorships with people on YouTube.
1xBet was a scam casino, when they opened their first office in my country and decided to start gambling operation here with small advertisements, people liked them because they had good design and many features but when I googled about them in 2016, I found that there were many scam accusation threads on different gambling forums, it was clear that 1xbet was a beautifully packaged scam casino. Then after some years they made fewer scams and invested a lot in marketing, they attracted many people and became very popular. Today, 1xBet is different from 1xBit, it's not as scammy as it was before but I personally still wouldn't play there.
In overall, 1xBet and 1xBit use the Betb2b platform. This is a company that creates many casinos with their CMS and scams many people, this is their business model.
86  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: April 30, 2024, 10:05:38 AM
I don`t think that serious countries will accept BTC. They have their fiat money and it is enough for all purposes.
Taxes we get on the profit. And i don`t think that someone get a bill with BTC in it. No, we got taxes in fiat money. I don`t like it but it is correct - when you get any profit - you pay taxes.
No, in some countries and states, you can pay with Bitcoin. You won't receive bills calculated in Bitcoins but can pay fiat equivalent with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has value so it's money. If we look at CMC it's value is always measure by USD, and it's acceptable in most countries, and even on countries that bitcoin is ban there are still people accepting and investing on it. We have to be realistic here, bitcoin is already regulated, so it's basically money but in the form of bitcoin. Maybe the government will not intervene if we would not encash our bitcoin but we cannot deny that most of us encash our bitcoin into fiat.
Bitcoin has value but that doesn't mean that it's money. Real estates have value, is my house money? Is my car money? No, money is paper and coins that we use daily, that are accepted as payments for goods, services, taxes and etc. There are many arguments against why Bitcoin is not money and also there are arguments on the other hand that proves that Bitcoin is money. The government thinks that Bitcoin is not money, I have heard that directly from my lecturer who also graduated from Harvard University and had a very good position in the government sector. When the government sees the possibility of taxing you, they'll tax you even if they have to disagree with their previously said statement. They saw that Bitcoin is getting very popular and they saw the opportunity of making money from it, so they'll tax for this reason.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suddenly I'm curious, do I need to pay taxes on Bitcoin income? on: April 30, 2024, 09:16:06 AM
I asked chatgpt, and it answered that Bitcoin transactions are generally subject to tax, just like other forms of asset transactions. Tax requirements may vary depending on the laws and regulations of the country where you are located, but in general, the following situations may require taxation:
Earning profits: If you earn profits through the sale or investment of Bitcoin, these profits may be considered capital gains and are subject to tax. Salaries and wages: If you pay or receive wages in Bitcoin, this may be considered ordinary income and is subject to tax. Mining income: If you receive income from Bitcoin mining, these income may be subject to tax. Currency exchange: If you use Bitcoin to purchase goods or services, you may need to pay the corresponding consumption tax according to the laws of the country.
It's never a good idea to ask such questions to ChatGPT. Where you live is a most important part. I personally live in a country where income from foreign countries is not taxed. Crypto incomes also are not taxed. I have never ever paid any tax on any of my income and I have never had a problem. For example, the law requires you to pay taxes if you are self-employed but to be fair, no self-employed person pays taxes in my country, everyone knows that and everyone feels okay about that. So you have to act according to what are the laws and what applies in real life. This is my reality, yours might be different.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can a seed phrase on steel or titanium sheet survive this flood? on: April 30, 2024, 09:02:30 AM
Flood isn't something that will occur randomly, your government should had warn the citizen for upcoming big flood. If I live in a country where extreme floods is nothing new, I would wear secret stash bracelet. Change the keys with laminated paper which I wrote my seed phrase, so it can resist against water.

No one will know if my bracelet contain almost all of my wealth.

https://www.yankodesign.com/2013/04/16/wear-your-secret-stash/
This is a great idea to keep private keys safe, there is a very low chance that someone will lose bracelet or will become a victim of theft because it looks like a very cheap bracelet. I think Rings are also a good way to store keys safely. If you use a micro printer to print private keys and somehow attach it to the ring safely, it can be a good way.

So do you remember the terrible earthquake and collapse that happened in Türkiye and do you think there will be any technology advanced enough to know the full extent of mother nature's fury? It seems like you are trying to blame the government for the natural disasters caused by mother nature.
Erdogan arrested many building contractors because of that accident. The problem was that they were allegedly involved in shoddy and illegal construction methods. As far as I remember, the built quality was low and there wasn't a correct seismic analysis done.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones on: April 30, 2024, 07:56:01 AM
I have lived in many communities and some States or regions in my country and there are some communities I went and I discovered that women are more productive by going to farm and other daily activities to provide food in the family than men. While the male sons and fathers are busy playing bet with Checkers Game and popular known in my locality "Draft Board Game" and bet on "Whot Card Game". And their.wives would go to farm or fishing to feed the families. Till date those things are common in the places I have visited in the country, mostly the elderly ones who the young once are busy using the casino centers and websites to play their games.

The elderly ones are still busy playing games with the traditional methods so most of us didn't notice that they are gambling but they bet with money and that has become automatically a gambling habit while the younger generation is using the new methods of online and casino Halls. Mostly of this elders would left home early morning to the draft games centers and stay there till evening. Playing games with one another. In most time they use places that sells drinks and smoking things like cigarettes and others. Those places are always busy with elderly people.

Do you see such elderly people in your country? Or is it only in Africa? Is the younger ones play gamble more than the elders?
For a moment I thought that you visited my country but as it seems this is the problem of every poor country, like mine.
Yeah, it's a sad fact but young people and middle-aged people gamble in online casinos every day. Old people, like those above 65, have no idea about online gambling but they collect together in squares, gardens and public places and play their favourite game backgammon, sometimes they play domino. You may ask, what do wives do? They work, they are the only major workforce. They usually migrate to other countries and take care of older people in exchange for money. That's the money they send back to countries and that's the money that their husbands and sons use to gamble.
90  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does clogged mempool affect your crypto business? on: April 28, 2024, 09:12:30 AM
Do you experience a profit decline? Did people stop playing with Bitcoins? Did the demand for altcoins rise? Which altcoin is the most popular now?

It has gone from bad to worse, in the last year.
I even made a topic about it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457652.msg62464631#msg62464631

Right now I almost have no clients taking or paying with bitcoin.
A few LN deal but overall majority is USDT, LTC, DOGE, and I don't think there is a way back.
Yeah, that isn't good. Years ago Bitcoin was one of the most accepted and popular currency for cryptocurrency payments, now altcoins have taken its place. In my case also, a majority is Litecoin and USDT, sometimes Ripple, SOL, Dash and Tron.

I wouldn't say it's over, it might have slowed down though, and it you have been observing the market, around this time, there is not that much volume.
Yeah, it's not over because mempool is still full of ordinals transactions, more than 50% of blocks are still mostly ordinals.

Yes it is, and for those who have a lot of inputs, and they need to make a tx very soon, they can keep a very close eye on the fee rate, and if it drops a little lower than this, they should consolidate their inputs and save up on fees for future tx's.
I never had to be worried about inputs and outputs and now I have to. Today we are forced to be more careful about inputs and outputs and to use coins control feature, this way many people will save on fees.

...but it is impossible to find a coin like BTC which has the kind of utilities it has.
That's true, but don't forget that many people will gladly give up on security and decentralization if you offer them a more cost-effective and convenient way to pay with crypto.
I think that using Monero is not giving up, the problem is that many stores and exchanges delist Monero, so it's becoming very hard to buy something with this coin.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 28, 2024, 08:42:21 AM
Nowadays, it's more common that casinos exist a while before their team figure out that they can get some good exposure at Bitcointalk. It can be from one of their team members or introduction from third party marketing people.
I know that nowadays it's more common for casinos to start a business outside of this forum but all I want to say is that I have never seen such a successful one as Metawin is. Primedice (maybe Stake too), Sportsbet, Livecasino, Bitsler, Crypto-games, FortuneJack, Rollbit, Duelbits, etc... they are the most popular crypto casinos, they all started from this forum, they have a huge bankroll, huge popularity, huge number of active players and good promotions. Then there is a Metawin that is almost on their level. I don't know any casino outside of this forum that is as popular as Metawin, that's why I feel curious.

As someone who enjoys highly volatile slots, I'm really liking the added volatility meter since it's a lot easier to discover new games that I might like.
Yes, that RTP and Volatility indicator is the best thing that can help you to decide which slots to play.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 27, 2024, 06:12:24 PM
I'm sure not all traders will agree with me but some could possibly be on my side...

Here are the reasons why;
 1. It is quite stressful - old traders will soon give up due to mental health problems
 2. It is not enjoyable anymore - nobody will stay long in a job that they no longer find themselves comfortable with especially if you are not earning well.
Most of the time we feel this during bear season.
 3. Trust issue due to Scam growth - traders never find it safe to use exchanges, even big exchanges.
Those who are whales will not agree with you because it's a lifetime job for them, they rule the market, and they move the market. If someone else doesn't agree with you, they are hugely mistaken.

I have tried trading as a full-time job and I failed. It stressed me so much that I swear it's better to do manual labour than to watch the price of the coin going up and down 24/7 and then be stressed out about catching good moments to profit. It made me anxious and nervous, I completely changed my sleeping routine because I was always trying to keep awake until I could to control my long and short positions. Maybe bots will make trading more comfortable but I can't depend on them with my capital, I prefer to control everything myself.
You also mentioned it correctly. So many exchanges go scam, get hacked and have financial problems that it's not safe to keep your coins on exchange. It's always a wise decision to deposit on exchange, trade and then withdraw immediately.
93  Economy / Gambling / Re: Airbet - 100% 1st Deposit Bonus; 125% 2nd Deposit Bonus; 150% 3rd Deposit 🚀 on: April 27, 2024, 12:14:23 PM
Welcome to Bitcointalk. This is one of the nicest Ann thread design that I have seen recently, colour combination is amazing, very nice and relaxing for my eyes. You have a good colour palette. I love the UI/UX design of your website, really nice casino, congrats.

My advice for you would be to add a scroll bar on the right side, like this forum has because I visited your website with my laptop and I couldn't scroll down without using arrows and even when I use it, I have to click on a page anywhere and then I'm able to scroll via arrows, so it's not a comfortable experience for those who don't use a mouse. Your Aircrash game is good, I can't wait to see all the original games.

You have a very good start and keep going this way. This is my suggestion right now.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of eSports Betting on: April 27, 2024, 09:15:09 AM
I think right now we are experiencing the fall of eSports betting rather than the rise of it. Though 2019 to now so many good players resigned, became free agents or entire teams disbanded. It's ridiculous to see that for them there is better money in streaming rather than being in a team.

The sponsors and the gaming companies have reduced the money they invest in tournaments too much. Of course now there are more tournaments but the quality has reduced drastically along with the budget and the rewards. Many tournaments these days even don't have any rewards. The golden era was around 2013 to 2018 probably
eSports is the future. I don't think it will change games like Football (Soccer) and Basketball but eSports are rising. Today kids prefer to stay at home and play Fortnite, Pubg, Dota, League Of Legends and similar games. They rarely go outside to play football and other sports, this is definitely noticeable today. In my childhood, we didn't have computers, internet, or electricity the way we do today, so everyone was forced to go outside and play sports because this was the only fun activity. Today kids have access to gadgets and computers and sports are becoming virtual, like everything else, including currencies.
Btw streaming platforms are really superior in terms of income and popularity. For me, that is the indicator that eSports and eSports betting will become more popular in the future.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First ever epic sat sold for 33.3 BTC on: April 27, 2024, 08:45:43 AM
I think that this is a well-planned, long-term scam attempt. A few months ago I read on Reddit one guy's post, he said that he created an NFT, a silly pixel image with no value of art, then he put it on auction, bid himself 1 BTC, bought it and then sold it for the higher price thanks to the new dumb buyer. He created money out of thin air, gave it a fake value and sold it to someone stupid.

I think that we are experiencing the same here. They try to give fake value to fakely invented "rate sats". Someone stupid with money will think that it's a good opportunity to invest in rare sats and some people will make lots of bitcoins via this scheme.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: World price tag on every product. on: April 27, 2024, 08:10:22 AM
The world has gotten to that point in which every product should have a particular price is been sold for.
A product that is been sold for $5 in USA should also be sold for $5 in Canada and China, this way it will help the world leaders to remove hunger in the world, it will also help grow the economy of every country because countries can buy product from one another at a better price, this method will really help in reducing suffering in the world because hunger is one of man's major problem.
The world leaders should sit and implement this policy every product will be given a price that will be comfortable to every common man in different countries of the world.
I don't think it's a good idea if potato chips cost 5$ in the USA and in India too. Also in overall, if any country is rich, that's because another country is poor, we can't have two rich and two winners at the same time.
There was the same price tag on every product in the whole soviet union in the 20th century, it was called a planned economy. Absolutely in every soviet country, the price on any product was the same but I want to inform you that it didn't work well because the economy can't be planned, and you can't predict whether the harvest of tomatoes would be good or bad. The Soviet Union had already paid for its planned economics and it fell down, it didn't last long.

Thanks for input guys - I should have been clerarer however, the sites aboved is sites i have had accounts on, withdrawn and moved on to the next (due to account being limited) - so from my POV - i have not had any issues with those. The withdrawal process have been taken some time but as mentioned, my money has always came.

The thing Im looking for is sites that offers the same software provider, BETB2B, since these sites offering the same markets/games/odds

thx
I think that you are playing with fire, casinos owned by bet-b2b should not be trusted because there have been dozen scam accusation threads against them for fair reasons. I said what was my duty, now it's on you but if you get scammed, please don't come here crying, everyone warned you.

I'll write down the list of casinos that use BetB2B platform so many don't become the victim of their scam and you'll get what you want OP too.

98  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Samourai wallet website seized by DOJ, developers arrested on: April 26, 2024, 09:52:09 AM
It appears that after the arrest of the developer of Tornado Cash, I reckon no platform creators and software developers for privacy and anonymity in the cryptospace is safe. Will we witness the arrest of Monero and Zcash developers? This will certainly be very headshaking.
No more room for privacy, not anymore. Many exchanges, including centralized and instant exchanges, many of them do not support Monero. There is not much talk about Zcash, if I notice articles, they are mostly about Monero, so I expect that Monero might become illegal to mine and use, this coin will be blocked probably. Anything that improves your privacy in financial world, will be blocked and the user will be highly punished. It won't surprise me if VPN and Tor will be banned soon.

I think that it was inevitable. In 2016 and yearly years, privacy was not a problem because these coins weren't popular and weren't massively adopted. Now they are very popular and accepted in many places, this is a threat for FED, they'll do whatever it takes to kill it but you know what makes me smile a little bit? They are banning mixers, privacy wallets, soon they'll probably ban privacy coins but something new will pop up, something better, stronger and it will be very difficult for them. Something new will always pop up, so nothing ends here.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 26, 2024, 09:32:21 AM
as I know, the campaign will have some big changes next week.
As of now, nothing is guaranteed however, we are planning something big. Metawin owner is very much interested in bitcointalk so yeah, there's a chance that something bigger will be announced soon. We are also planning competition here for bitcointalk users. That might be something many would be interested. We are planning to make it more lucrative.
Seriously, I am not exaggerating. I have been in crypto since 2015-2016, active on this forum, checking every single crypto casino and I have never seen a crypto casino that become so popular without firstly getting itself announced on this forum. Hands down, competitions here are very amazing. I am not a guy who gets easily excited by casino promos but these ones here are another level.
This casino has been a good discovery for me, keep up the good work. Unique promotions for Bitcointalk users will be amazing, Metawin needs to be more active here.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Illusion of Trading Success on: April 26, 2024, 09:20:40 AM
Many are teachers only few are traders. They make their money from selling trading courses, teaching trading classes, creating trading contents for YouTube and other social media. They have their own trading podcasts and collaborate with people like them to talk about trading yet, they have never been successful at trading.

You'll see them on Instagram or WhatsApp posting many signals, doing adverts for their VIP exclusive signal groups. Their appearance of wealth has nothing to do with their profits from trading and trading performance but from their courses sold and YouTube ads.

You ask yourself why don't they stop all these bs and just go back to real trading and you will immediately answer yourself that trading is hard work. It is easier to make reliable income streams from acting like a trader than actually in active trading where the market is volatile. It is easier to build a personal brand and audience in the short term than it is for achieving trading profits.

I do not like these people because, to me they are scammers. I have never seen anyone who follow them that eventually became a successful trader.
Whales move the market, someone's tiny dust can't change the Bitcoin's price and the rule of profitable trading is simple, buy low, sell high. Technically this is what those social media stars sell, this simple combination of words - "buy low, sell high". Those influencers are not whales, so they can't be successful in trading. They don't make their living from trading, they use trading to give you the show that will help them to sell their product. They make money from selling their courses, trading is like gambling for them, sometimes they profit, and sometimes they lose.

Your post is right and a good read for many people who fall into their scam. I hope many people will understand that when someone helps you to make money, they are the ones who are making the money and not you, so this help is fake.
