121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buidling a New Crash Game with Community Experience on: March 31, 2024, 11:21:08 AM
About the house edge will be %1. I know I have to provide different things to users. If I won't do that, people probably prefer to Bustabit.
I don't think that house edge is the problem. There have been many casinos with almost 0% house edge but no one has succeeded over the ones that have 1% or higher house edge. It's also super easy for bustabit to change their house edge and make it match yours, so it's not a big deal. I think that you have to offer something unique and different, something that will be hard for bustabit to change and will require lots of hard work from them. To my mind, a crash game with one of the best UI/UX and animation effects with some new unique features will be the key for your success.
Remember, it's easy to copy UI but it takes hard work and dedication to copy features. From the rest of your post, it feels like you are on a right track.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: March 31, 2024, 10:10:23 AM
If you have been full-time into trading for one to three years, what has been the greatest sacrifice you've made to become a successful trader? And did it pay off?

Someone I know who a seven-figure trader is now made the sacrifice of moving into a shared apartment with a friend just to save money. Another person, who had previously started a logistics company, sold off his trucks and used the money for trading. Another person had to pay to be mentored. He did this because the mentor said people do not appreciate free things, and if he were not making the sacrifice of paying out of pocket, he probably would not be serious and would take it for granted. These people cited in here went on to become successful traders. It paid off.
I haven't been in full-time trading for years, I only tried to be into it for some months, up to a year and I want to say that this is very stressful, full-time trading is so stressful that sometimes I had to be awake during the night to monitor the price and avoid financial lose and gain profit. I had a moment when I was doing futures trading for 2 days in a row and I had to be awake for one night because I had a good moment and wanted to gain as much as possible. Then, I opened a long position on different crypto/usdt pair and price started falling, I was checking it all the time and was thinking about whether to close the position or wait. Sadly, while I was thinking this, I fell asleep and some of my money got liquidated. I learned from that mistake that full-time trading is very stressful and isn't worth the possible positive outcome.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Off Economic phenomenon. on: March 31, 2024, 09:23:22 AM
Good day everyone.
Where I come from, there's been harsh economic problems for a while now. It's no news, that there's a global inflation due to a few reasons, but even in the midst of all that, a lot of countries are still doing better than others, and the development rate isn't reducing as the standard of living is still by far well to do.

My country has been battling with the dollar exchange rates. It's been soaring high, making the prices of food and other commodities soar high as well. But recently, the exchange rates dropped by over 37%, and everyone became happy ( of course apart from those who earned in $), and the prices of goods and services even went higher, further decreasing the standard of living in the country.

Now, AI and search engines will only try to give me theoretically logical explanations, but I want something practical and out of experience from people of other countries. What do you think this Economic phenomenon is and what exactly is causing it? Has your country been in a situation like this throughout it's history, and how was it resolved?
You exactly describe the situation that exists in my country. USD was rising, the price of food and everything was rising as well and then soon after the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, local currency to USD exchange rate significantly went down and people became happy, the national bank even had to do something to make our local currency little bit weaker because it was getting too strong against USD. This happened because many rich Russians and Ukrainians flew to my country and they brought lots of dollars with them, this resulted in increased USD income in our country and local currency becoming very strong but this didn't cause a fall in prices of food and other things, quite opposite happened and absolutely everything become terribly expensive. This happened because we are an importer country (I assume your country will be an importer country) and demand increased, so high demand resulted in a price spike and for a bonus, since there is a monopoly and corruption on things like this, distributors that import food and other goods, decided to significantly increase prices and they are profiting a lot.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Satoshi Claim Case Update on: March 31, 2024, 09:02:38 AM
speculation: (my thoughts on future maybe's)
seems they want to know how much he says he has, so maybe they can also sue him/charge him criminally for past issues
(EG when CSW funds are locked due to this case, they can quickly sue him and use the lock to ensure he pays future case)
but my dream scenario is they use the information to then take him to criminal court and set a bail amount for millions so that he cant just walk away from a criminal case
They should take him to the criminal court because if he gets left without punishment, then many people will abuse the system. It's idiotic that Craig Wright was able to waste so many years in court because. This is definitely the result of a loophole in the law. Because of this stupidity, Cobra had to remove Bitcoin whitepaper from bitcoin.org for UK people.

Even with backing he still have, i doubt 6.2 million Euro is small amount for him. Now i wonder whether he'll sell any BSV he have or even steal other's BSV through centralized confiscation feature[1] in order to cover COPA's legal cost.

[1] https://blog.bitmex.com/bitcoin-sv-hardfork-significant-security-risks/
Bitcoin SV is ranked 62nd out of all listed cryptocurrencies on Coinmarketcap. Super impressive result if we consider that this is a shitcoin run by a scammer that proves again that too many people are dumb. I wouldn't be shocked if Craig Wright confiscates many Bitcoin SV and we will see shocked customers (they deserve to be fair).

125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA: the power of little beginning on: March 30, 2024, 06:33:05 PM
I have come to understand and appreciate the saying that "little drops of water make a mighty ocean", the DCA method of buying Bitcoin brought me to that understanding. I have had this poor mindset of making huge profits from trading thereafter, invest part of it into Bitcoin holding as a hedge to my trading. This mindset have held me moving round the same cycle of profits and losses for over two years with no progress despite the pains and psychological torture that comes with losing streak in trading. Little did I know that buying little by little would have made me achieve even bigger results than I was targeting through trading. It was when I started being active in this forum I noticed that there is something called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) that enable someone buy Bitcoin even with small amount of money on a regular basis. I embraced it and it has changed my life!

Today I am a proud Bitcoin investor, with a portfolio that I can call an achievement even though it may not be something too big for some people. I am not making this post because of Bitcoin is rising in price, my focus is on the quantity of Bitcoin and not necessarily the dollar value. Besides, the DCA method has molded me to appreciate bear markets because that is the opportunity to collect more Bitcoin at lower prices.

I am sure there are many people with similar thing to say about the DCA method because I have engaged in many discussions where a good number of forum users confirmed to be using the DCA method, so I expect they will also be proud of what they have achieved through it.

To those who really helped in sharing their wealth of knowledge free of charge in this forum like @JayJuanGee, @Wind_FURY, @tranthidung and many others, you are all highly appreciated.

I'm very happy to see this success story and I have to completely agree with your approach. The Dollar Cost Averaging method is a better way for financial success than trading because first of all it's not for beginners and secondly it's so stressful that it slowly kills your soul.
By the way, my personal approach still remains to trade only when there is the best moment for it and also my trading secret is to work on increasing value in Bitcoins, not in fiat. When you move on this approach, you will significantly see the difference. I always try to catch the best moments. This is risky, requires huge patience and self-control but it works but to my mind DCA is one of the best approach for many beginners. I wish you more success.
126  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 30, 2024, 04:43:12 PM
Their marketing team works,

Thats not a "marketing team".  It's 100% automated.  They have automated users here on the forums as well as automated emails/sports betting events.  Not sure how you missed that fact lol.
Their marketing campaign might be automated, their bitcointalk account might be automatically posting but they need graphic designer to regularly create new promotional banners to send emails to users, so the whole process can't be 100% automated. It's possible that they have many ready-made graphic content I still don't think that they have it totally automated because they acquired TheQuin for that years ago.
By the way, Freebitco acquired the FUN token years ago and this token alone has some developers and employees in different positions.

Anyway, it's good that they are back.

Thank you for pointing him in my direction. I sent him a message earlier when he was online but it was completely ignored. I have no response until now.
I'll quote this with the hope that you'll get attention. I don't understand why this case has been ignored for so long.
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 30, 2024, 01:55:09 PM
Hi Shield132 - thanks for sharing our latest announcement above - you beat me to it;) But yes, exciting things are happening and Metawin keeps on progressing towards making the site the ultimate destination for Web3 players!

Today we're VERY excited to announce that both Base and arbitrum L2 chains are now live on MetaWin.

The result? 2 second swap transaction speeds that cost less than $0.01c. Plus any withdrawals received into your Web3 wallet in less than 20 seconds!

Try it for yourself over on Metawin.com
You are welcome. My piece of advice would be to be more graphical here because that's what people prefer. Graphical announcements are way better choice to communicate with customers on Bitcointalk.

These are helpful for sure, but what gamblers like me are looking for are more exciting contests like the recent 2 BTC contest that your team hosted successfully within this forum and Twitter.

That was easily one of the best contests that I took part in and I am hoping for more such stuff from you guys if possible in the near future.
Metawin's first contest here was amazing but I don't think that will be repeated again because that's basically gifting customers with lots of money. This contest was definitely very memorable. Btw I suggest you to subscribe their Twitter page, there are still too many and good promotions there - https://twitter.com/Meta_Winners

Guys, there is an ongoing promotion that gives you a chance to win a Tesla CyberTruck

128  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think if Bitcointalk accepted videos? on: March 30, 2024, 11:55:35 AM
What are your opinions? Should it be possible or not to watch videos via the forum?
If so, do you think it should be possible to share videos from any platform, or just from specific platforms? And what would be the maximum time a video should take to be available here?
Lucius's trick is a smart solution but it's not very practical because I have to leave the website and watch video on another platform. For a smooth experience, it will be good if we are able to embed videos from popular platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Twitter... and if they'll be embedded with lazy image loading. Lazy image loading will not slow down the website.
I mentioned those websites intentionally because they censor violence and illegal content, so forum wouldn't be under DMCA complain. If we allow videos from any source, then moderators will probably have to work very hard.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 29, 2024, 04:02:14 PM
I understand that it might look like there are some situations that can change with time, but so far I think the website is still quite the name itself so there is no need for thequin to come here to make me stay, I am already staying. This may not be the case for everyone, but no website can go 100%, plus thinking bitcointalk is the only place they get customers from would be naive, they probably do not get anything out of here that means a lot for them.
Website is still quite the name but that's not everything. The website needs active support and Freebitco doesn't have it. If you have a problem on freebitco, there is no one right now who will answer your questions and help you to solve the problem and this is scary because you can't feel secure while gambling on their platform. There are some unresolved and ongoing problems here, one of them has been unresolved for months and that's not good, if Freebitco continues like this, they'll lose customers.

Is there anyone in touch with Freebitco administration? What's going on? Did they become like BetFury? Their marketing team works, they post here and I also receive emails but TheQuin is silent and some people complain that their problems aren't solved. I hope everything is well with Freebitco.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 29, 2024, 10:46:24 AM
I don't know much about which vpn is better for running crypto casino. Because our country does not support VPN for casino games it seems illegal to them. Also, if you violate the rules of their organization, the account will be closed many times. If the account is closed then withdrawal will not be possible. I have not used any vpn to play casino yet we don't need vpn to play gambling in our country.
If gambling is legal in your country, how can they prohibit you from using VPN to gamble? I have never seen such a law. The only exception is when online gambling is illegal in a country, then they prohibit you using other methods that will help you to bypass the restriction but since online gambling is legal in your country, I don't understand why particularly VPN usage for that purpose is prohibited.

In other words, some gambling sites sometimes turn a blind eye to this and allow their users to use VPNs.
Yes, I have heard that. Crypto casinos block many rich countries but at the same time, I frequently hear how people from these countries regularly gamble.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: March 29, 2024, 09:54:49 AM
The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.
Everything is overpriced but people don't work for the same salary too, at least in my country salaries have significantly gone up and I really live in a poor country. Things, especially food and rent started rising because too many Russians and Ukrainians flew to my country. While there are still many people who didn't experience salary increases and it's also true that absolutely everything in my country is ridiculously overpriced, people still spend money because they have no other choice. Many of them live paycheck-to-paycheck and almost everyone around me has a loan from a bank. That's how they live, take loan, pay loan, take loan, go in pawnshop, leave jewelry to pay bank loan, then take a loan from friend to pay pawnshop, then bank loan and that's the circle many people live in. You have to afford expensive food, there is no other choice.
132  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buidling a New Crash Game with Community Experience on: March 29, 2024, 09:20:10 AM
Yeah, totally agree with you. I know the competition's tough. They got the smarts, they got the cash. They could probably whip up what's in my plans in a week if they wanted. Ain't saying it's gonna be a cakewalk, but hey, you gotta start somewhere. And I'm all about giving the people what they want: a system that's solid, smooth, fair and excited system.

I have different product ideas that will be embedded on the crash page. This will be a differentiation for me.

Thank you for your precious feedback.
You are welcome but seriously, system provided by bustabit is solid, smooth and fair, they are the original creators of crash game. I just want to remind you that if you think that fairness of their games is the problem, you are mistaken.
By the way, if you manage to create an exciting crash game that will have a better visual and if you somehow manage to add unique features to make that game exciting, that will work cool and your dream may come true and you'll be a serious competitor. I personally would really love to see a crash game with many unique features that will make the game exciting and less boring on its own. It will be more amazing if you create a new unique game like bustabit did crash years ago.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Ordinals and Runes help Bitcoin to be a better system of electronic cash? on: March 29, 2024, 09:07:03 AM
The only positive effect that I noticed from Ordinals is that they showed us how Bitcoin is not ready for massive adoption. People scream we want massive adoption but in reality Bitcoin is not ready for that, it couldn't handle large number of transactions that was caused by ordinals spam and if we get massive adoption, then the number of legit transactions will be much higher than the ones generated by ordinals spam. How will Bitcoin handle them?
Btw in overall, Ordinals don't help Bitcoin, it's a loophole in the code and NFT spammers take advantage of it for scamming people.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman Fried (scam banker fraud) 25 years on: March 29, 2024, 08:53:48 AM
so the sentencing is in.. and it seems he is getting 25 years. good(shoulda got longer)
obviously he will try and appeal it. but atleast he isnt going to get to play CEO again any time soon (he was hoping to be allowed to be free to get back to business to 'make everyone whole' unpunished)

this might make a few other scammers realise trading in crypto does not alleviate them of the law, a scam is still a scam no matter what the asset/value/currency is
It's funny that he looks like the Prime Minister of my country - Irakli Kobakhidze

He is lucky that he got 25 years sentence after everything that he did with people's money. He is lucky that he will spend 25 years in the USA and not in Russia. If he was in Russia, he would suddenly fall out of the window or would get an unknown disease or would feel unwell and pass...
But another problem is that people don't learn from their mistakes and Cointelegraph published an article right now about how memecoin based on Sam Bankman-Fried pumps and dumps as he gets a 25-year prison sentence. One scam is not enough for people, they are looking for another, that's strange.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the pros and cons of gold compared to bitcoin? on: March 28, 2024, 04:47:36 PM
Why are gold and bitcoin both valuable?

Easy answer: rarity.

Gold is rare and not everyone can just extract it from the earth hence the explanation for its expensive price. Just like in bitcoin, it only has limited supply. Low supply and high demand results in high prices.

Another con I can think of gold is that even though it might never lose its value, you won’t really be able to receive profits from it unless you actually sell it. It’s not gonna earn you passive income which is pretty much the same for bitcoin. In order to gain profit, you need to sell your asset. The difference is that buying/selling gold would be much harder to do compared to buying/selling bitcoin.

Bitcoin is accessible and easily traded which adds to our convenience. You also don’t have to worry about physical storage unlike gold because it is stored digitally or in a hard wallet.
Gold is not only rare but it's a real-world thing. Gold has unique properties, it has limited supply, it's attractive in colour, it's shiny, non-oxidizable metal, and a master can make any kind of jewellery from Gold. It has been the standard for centuries (you will often hear the word Gold Standard), the standard of money, global financial reserve and etc.
Bitcoin is a virtual thing but we have to keep in mind that gold is used in smartphones, computers (CPU), chips... So, without Gold, there would be no Bitcoin. Btw bitcoin is the gold of the digital world, it's unique capabilities make it a very attractive choice of investment and payment method but has some disadvantages, it's not a good option for flexibility and massive usage because many people have no idea what Bitcoin is and too many people don't know how to properly buy, sell and store it.
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buidling a New Crash Game with Community Experience on: March 28, 2024, 04:16:26 PM
Okay, you might be thinking, "Why are you telling us all this?" Here's the point:

Last month, while playing Bustabit, I had a realization (and it's a big one!). Everyone wants to get rich quickly and easily. That's why gambling is so popular – it preys on that desire.

Now, I've known about Bustabit for a year or two. It's a place I go to unwind sometimes. For instance, just last week, I lost around $10k on futures trading. But before that loss, I actually turned $250 into nearly $5,000 on Bustabit by playing patiently. As I was doing this, I told myself I'd keep playing patiently and turn it into $100,000. However, after losing that $10k, I went back to Bustabit and the guy who play very patiently, very calm, very relax start to play with 5000bit 5000bit and lost all of the money.

While my loss wasn't huge in the grand scheme of things, it taught me a valuable lesson: I want to create my own fair, reliable, and ultimately the best game ever. Yo, that loss stung, but hey, it ain't the end of the world. Now I'm fired up to build my own game, one that's straight-up fair. Fairness? Check. Trustworthy? Duh. And the user experience? Gonna be smoothest thing this side of butter.

Why I’m writing these words, cause I’m wondering the real bet players thoughts and what is the important for them? In here, I would like buidl with community experience not casino experience.
Are you sure that you can make a competitive product? There are too advanced players on the market, for example take the group that created Aviator. There is a huge, successful and experienced team behind this crash game and many casinos have already bought their product, it will be very hard to beat them.
Bustabit is also a business that generates a profit of 1 bitcoin per day, are you sure that you can beat a website with that much profit? I think it will be impossible to do alone but it's possible to beat them if you manage to create a team of very high professionals.
Btw bustabit is as fair as currently possible. If someone loses against a casino, that doesn't mean that the game is rigged.
137  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 28, 2024, 12:42:44 PM
Metawin's Twitter page is one of the most active page that I have ever seen among crypto casinos. I wish they were as active here as they are on Twitter because that would be amazing for us. There is so many good news announced on their Twitter page, so many comments and etc but I assume since Bitcointalk unites is, it will be good to create an active community here too in this ANN thread. If it's acceptable, I'll post some good news here:

MetaWin now supports

There is also probably a new product on their website, Metawin's Stock Market - https://t.co/07QptcNsUs

138  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there any malware that captures your recovery seed when shown or typed? on: March 28, 2024, 09:50:19 AM
Guys, what's your worry if you don't download pirated movies, games and software? If you don't visit torrent and adult websites and don't download something strange from internet, then you don't have to worry about malware because Google and YouTube won't inject keyloggers into your computer. If they do it, then there will be a huge scandal. I have created many Bitcoin and altcoin wallets from a computer that always had online access since I bought it and keep in mind that I own Bitcoin wallet since 2016 and I have stored up to 3 Bitcoin for many months.
My recipe is simple, I don't download everything that I find online, I don't insert USB flash drive on my computer, I don't download pirated content and I don't open emails from strangers. If you use your computer that way, you'll be fine. If you download pirated content and do some other things, then you should get a new and clean computer and create a wallet there or buy a hardware wallet. Don't be paranoid when you don't need to be.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Since 2013 | Longest Running Crypto Casino | 113 BTC Jackpot! on: March 27, 2024, 01:04:10 PM
I said, it had happened 3 times just in the last week. But, you know what, it happened again yesterday, can you imagine!

Four 0.00 in like 10 days. Unbelievable. "got some lucky seeds"? I don't think so. Smiley

But also, you know what? I finally rolled just couple of minutes ago while writing this post:

So, maybe it were "some lucky seeds"? Smiley
Yes, you are lucky and congrats on your winning, I wish your bet was placed in Bitcoins instead of Litecoins. You have some "lucky seeds" because I have rolled dice so many times and I don't remember hitting 0.00 and you hit that four times in 10 days.
By the way, can you place a bet as low as 0.00000128 LTC on Primedice? I haven't played dice with altcoins for a long time, the last time I played on many crypto casinos, I remember that the lowest bet for LTC and altcoins was very different from the lowest bet for Bitcoin. The only casino where I could play with 0.00000001 DOGE as the minimum bet was FortuneJack and it was probably in 2016 or 2017 if I remember correctly. Btw can you bet 0.00000001 LTC? or DOGE on Primedice?
140  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What needs to be improved or added to your preferred BTC Wallet? on: March 27, 2024, 12:41:22 PM
I created this topic to leave our feedback, compliments, suggestions and dissatisfactions about the main BTC wallets (BTC Only or not), in order to exchange ideas on what needs to be added and/or improved in them.

For example, if you really like a wallet, but it is not open source, you can highlight this point here, or if you think that some function within your wallet does not make sense, you can mention that.

Another example: I think the XYZ wallet is very safe, but it does not have the option to set fees manually (sat/vbyte), instead, the fee options offered by the wallet are either too high or too low (bitcoin wallet for android).
Every famous open-source crypto wallet lacks a UI/UX design and some of them don't have applications for smartphones. I personally use Electrum and its mobile app is terrible, and far from intuitive. Windows app looks like an old application from Windows XP times.
Long story short, every Bitcoin wallet needs to do more UI/UX research and create more intuitive design and they need good smartphone app. I would also love to see timelock feature on crypto wallets because it's sometimes hard to HODL and locking your bitcoin for years is the best way for those who lack self-control.
