501  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum better before without Merit or is it better now with Merit? on: December 03, 2023, 10:28:51 AM
Members, reputable members. Was it better before back then when this forum was without merits or is it better or even much better now with merits? Please explain your answer so users like me can get an idea how it was and what you prefer. Smiley
It was better when bitcoin was something new and people were discovering it, it was better when web wasn't super advanced and when crypto businesses were a new thing. It was just a good time, a new day, revolution in financial system, a new niche, a new thing to build business around.
Merit was implemented in 2017, this was the time when bitcoin gained widespread attention and become a very successful cryptocurrency. Also, since 2017, web and crypto businesses developed further and this forum lost popularity a little bit. This forum is not as mainstream as it was before and new things don't start from this forum like it was before.

So, I wouldn't ask whether was this forum better before merit or not, I would ask, was this forum better before 2017 or not. Btw it's noticeable that forum members are putting more effort to post high quality posts. To be honest, merit and high-paying signature campaigns, like Chipmixer, played very important role into making this forum a better place.

Does anyone know from BitFury why do I get You are being rate limited message?
Quote
The owner of this website (betfury.ai) has banned you temporarily from accessing this website.

I was scrolling NFT lootboxes and I get redirected to this page so many times that it's impossible to do anything on your website. I don't use VPN and I don't understand what is the problem.

Anyone of your already tried NFT Lootboxes?

I am looking on spins history, and it does not look like it is very popular. Either people dont understand and want to try it, or NFT does not attract them. Personally, I dont believe in all that NFT thing, dont believe in their value, so I spend few bucks, won like few cents and went back to more default games Cheesy

P.S. Sometimes it is both hard to believe and looks shocking, when a guy makes a 1.5k purchase and wins 76k worth Bored Ape Yacht club NFT with 0.77% chance to win only. I mean there are lots of less risky games there for a 1.5k single bet.
At first I didn't understand what was the difference between expensive and cheap bored ape yacht club box but now I understand that difference is only chance of winning main prize. Btw it's not 1.5K purchase, it's almost 2K purchase per spin. I played that ape box with demo and I only won betfury tokens in 45 Spin. That user was really very lucky. Btw is it easy to sell NFT? Can you immediately sell them?
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: November 30, 2023, 07:58:47 PM
Bitcoin jumping and dumping is a part of its business method. No one knows when the whale will appear and the rate of BitCoin will go up or down. And no one knows about it either. When will Bitcoin go back to its previous position? There are only predictions, guesses and appearances. And that's what Bitcoin is all about.
However, no one can deny this. That it is the fastest growing business in the world. And countless of its sub-coins have hit the market. All of these coins are descendants of Bitcoin. And his children are increasing day by day.
.
No one knows exactly what will happen to Bitcoin's price, not whales, not China, not USA, absolutely no one knows what will happen after a certain accident, we all speculate and expect this or that to happen. If we have a look at Bitcoin's price, it's easy to predict that Bitcoin's price will rise after next halving. We aren't 100% sure but we know that when there is a halving, people will positive about bitcoin's price rise, miners receive 1/2 of yesterday's reward and businesses try to express their interests, like Paypal and Elon Musk did in 2020.

Gambling is not bad after all but addiction is, gambling has been receiving a lot of negative reactions and feedback but gambling also has a lot of health benefits associated with it but you can only get these benefits if you are a responsible gambler and you have total control of what you wage and limit your bankroll

These are some of the benefits to see more of its benefits you can read the whole article here

Can you add more besides what's written in this article?

Surprising Health Benefits of Gambling

I can confirm from my experience that Gambling really improves mood and relieves stress. When I was very depressed, I used to gamble on live blackjack where I was able to bet small and interact with live dealers. Gambling and chit-chat with them really helped me to improve my mood. It's sad that some people think that they can make millions from gambling and constantly profit from casino because this is not the case. Casino and gambling are for fun, not for profit. You can get a huge fun if you prioritize your fun experience and forget profit. Profit is a nice addition that you can experience if you are lucky. There are only a few games like Poker where skill is involved too along with luck.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: November 30, 2023, 11:56:36 AM
Al Hilal has everything they need to have to win the Saudi League title and even after Neymar getting injured in this team, I think Al Hilal can be the first hope for the Saudi League at the end of the season even if they can have a great chance for the AFC Champions League with the current team they have, but Al Nassr need to try harder here because a player like Ronaldo came here to win the trophy and that's a shame for them to take anything but the Saudi League title.

This is not a one man team and depending on Ronaldo to champion them to the league title is not something that can be easily done. They need to all improve in their individual performances and use many of their opportunities well in their favour when they play matches. Al Hilal is not that much of a special team than they are, having their star player injured is an opportunity for them to also work on their game to gather more points even though they seem not to look weak even as they’re missing one of their best player Neymar.
Winning a title is not an easy thing for Ronaldo even though Al Nassr relies on him to be able to bring Al Nassr to success but the opponents in the Saudi pro league are not easy. Al Hilal has become Al Nassr's tough competitor this season. Seeing Al Hilal's consistency so far has really made Al Nassr It is difficult to shift Al Hilal position, but what is certain is that Al Nassr will fight hard with these strong rivals.
It's not a good idea when team depends on one player, especially on striker instead of playmaker. Ronaldo is a great striker, one of the greatest in history but good striker needs good midfielders who will provide him with good assists. Ronaldo doesn't have superstar midfielders in his team and whole squad depends on his skills. I think this is wrong. It makes more sense to make whole squad dependent on Messi instead of Ronaldo because Messi is a playmaker and can always create threats, start from scratch and dribble through 5 players to score the goal.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with crypto because taxation makes no sense? on: November 29, 2023, 07:16:30 PM
Moreover, in many countries, filling out the forms to get taxed can be a nightmare. For winning 100$ for example, you will have to pay a big chunk of it to an accountant to find how it should be taxed. Bureaucracy is a whole other debacle in and of itself.
Where do you have to pay taxes on winning? In my country I don't have to pay any tax to win or withdraw money from casino. I couldn't imagine if anyone had to pay taxes on winning. Btw what happens when you lose? Do you get tax return? This is so unfair.

I'd imagine that many people actually chose to gamble with crypto to avoid these restrictions and bureaucratic procedures. It really makes no sense to go through all these troubles to tax a small winning amount. Still if someone happened to win a large amount on a small bet by chance, I'd imagine some people would want to tax it so they can spend it in the real economy as fast as possible.
If someone lives in a country where they pay tax on winning from blackjack on casino, they might be forced to pay taxes on their crypto income, so this is not going to help them.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 29, 2023, 03:39:59 PM
To me it seems Monero is something that should not be ignored.

Also scaling is another issue, Bitcoin fees are 1000x Monero fees.

There's no reason why you can't Coinjoin/Lightning your UTXO's in conjunction with Monero - it's a good privacy tool and supplement to Bitcoin IMO.

Thoughts please. I want some honest opinions here.
Everyone can check my post history. I have been saying since 2017 that Monero is the next big thing that happened in crypto world. Monero is the currency that protects our privacy the most but it shocks me that Monero ranks 25th on coinmarketcap. As it looks, not everyone is looking for privacy but Monero will grow over time, people will appreciate the benefits that monero brings. At the moment Bitcoin Mixers are doing their job well, they simply cost expensive because Bitcoin price and transaction fees have increased.

No, it's not an inattention to the rules. I double-checked the first post of this thread and I thought you forgot it. 509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 29, 2023, 12:58:32 PM
Manchester City are held to a draw tie after their an incredible performance display at Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola seems dissapointed with that results because that was absolutely not the outcome he anticipated, rather he was looking forward for a win which the citizens was this very close to achieving their target but couldn't hold on much longer after Liverpool invaded their defendlines with long crucial passes and this time, Trent Alexander-Arnold didn't dissapoints, he successfully executed the ball right where he wanted and score the equalizing goal making it 1-1 on the scoresheet. Liverpool couldn't dominate the game due to the extreme counter attacks gained on the Reds side.
I checked Pep's interview after match and he said that he was very happy with the result. He said that it was an excellent performance against Liverpool and Man City squad was good in all departments. He is very pleased as he says but I think he was still expecting more, he doesn't want to add pressure and despair to his team. He wants to motivate them and make more confident.

I didn't expect Arsenal to be able to shift the position of Manchester City which was in 1st place and now Manchester City is in 2nd place. However, in the match between Manchester City oppose Liverpool, it was a tight match because both of them are strong teams, but I think a draw is the result. which is satisfying, but I predicted wrong and I predicted that Manchester City would win and remain in first place. but Haaland scored a goal well, but I didn't expect t.alexander to score a goal and be a savior for Liverpool.

I am looking forward to the Manchester city and Liverpool match in the future 9/3/2024. I'm sure there will be another interesting match and I predict that Manchester City can win because if you look at yesterday's match, Manchester City controlled more of the ball.
Arsenal is fantastic. Arsenal is number one with 30 points, then Man City with 29 points and 3rd place - Liverpool and Aston Villa. Competition is huge, everyone chases first place and everyone is so near that we will have interesting matches in the near future.

511  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: November 29, 2023, 07:45:04 AM
So as we are here, the world economy is in a mess. The world population is increasing, and the amount of land per person is decreasing.
half of Earth's terrestrial land surface remains untouched by humans, there won't be a land problem, problem is that everyone wants to live capitals.

But it brings risks. In order to create or invent a job, you need investment. Each and every investment comes with risks and this is no different.
Self-employment doesn't bring any risk. If you are a roofer, you'll need a roofing nail guns, roofing hammer, hammer tacker stapler and etc... These are necessary tools and you don't really need more than necessary tools to start a trades business where you are self-employeed. It only brings risks when you want to create a big business where you sell product/service and have to employee others.

Less opportunities and competition have made it so hard that many people are staying at home unemployed after graduation. You need particular skills, knowledge and experience that are required in order to get that job.
That's true but competition is good, this is how it works, one succeeds and one stays at home.

So which one should it be? Do you take the risk and invent a job or do you want to keep running the race knowing the possibility of winning is very low and you may never reach the finish line?
The first one is better. When you do your job yourself, you don't have boss and you don't make them rich, you only work for making yourself better.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 28, 2023, 02:55:50 PM
Although Black Friday is commonly associated with sellers offering huge discounts to customers, is this really true?
Sometimes yes, most of the times - no.
This is how black Friday works: Product costs $100 before black Friday, they increase price up to $140, then add a strikethrough effect and add $120 under increase price tag and call it a black Friday.

For example, a lot of individuals or bitcoin holders may sell significant amounts of their cryptocurrency during this time because they wish to purchase items that will affect their investments. Black Friday deals can affect your plan to hold bitcoins, and as an investor, you have to be careful and be disciplined enough to control yourself.
You invest money to gain more and to be able to buy more things. If you find something cheap on a particular day, you have to sell your coins and buy that item because there is no point in holding if you can't benefit and if your life stays the same. But one has to be careful whether it's a good idea to buy something with 20% off or wait a little bit and gain 30% on your capital.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 28, 2023, 01:58:47 PM
Whenever I am low on cash on the casino I play which includes a sport book I like to copy other people bets, usually parlays with odds over 1000 and I think to myself who cares if I play for example 50 bets copying other people with 200 IDR as my base bet,if any of these guys hits it big I will do to.Notice that I put 1000 as a minimum here but the reality is that I have been copying bets with over 700.000 as odds,I damn love these huge multipliers yet no one has got such one in sport betting.

Of course in here it is not about skill or luck games anymore but it is about destiny,so tell me how many of you are deceived by dreams that may change your destiny like I am  Grin?
I had a neighbor who was making money from sports betting for decades. He was betting on football only, he was watching absolutely every football match and was reading football news. At some point I was copying his bets (he is dead now) and had success, he was usually creating multiple tickets with 40 odds or higher. Once or twice a month he was catching a good high odd ticket which was enough to cover all the loses and gain amazing profit.

It's about gambling and not any other stuff in our lives, and gambling does require a lot of luck for a person to be able to win it, especially if it's about gambling games where the results are totally dependent on one's luck and nothing else has any influence on it. However, when we talk about sports betting, it's a part of gambling where luck isn't the most important factor because you can't win all the time by guessing which side will win but you can win more if you have knowledge and experience.

However, when it comes to the luck of others influencing your luck, I don't think there is any reality in that, and your chances of winning and losing will depend on your own research and knowledge about the sport, the games, and the players involved in those games.
Gambling requires luck, it's almost 100% luck. If gambling wasn't luck, we would have an educational institution in which students study different games of casinos to master their skills and win. Slots, Roulette and similar games are all luck based. Games like poker are a combination of luck and skills and sport requires luck even for players. Player's luck generates money for bettor.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: November 28, 2023, 11:46:46 AM
Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency. The name is an eye opener to crypto, and has brought or attracted many people into crypto currency today. And has continued to stand firmly without fading.

Many turn into shitcoin investor. After knowing about Bitcoin. Unfortunately it didn't work out the way they thought.
I am a tipical example of that. when I heard about Bitcoin how it started from $0.01 to thousands of dollars I thought shitcoin also has that potential. I was working and was investing in valueless coins thinking dey will be like Bitcoin. but never did as Bitcoin. all gradually disappeared. And that made me regret no investing it on Bitcoin then.

Although some people were pretty lucky to make alot of dollars from shitcoin, but mine didn't work out in any ways, so I would like you guys to shear your ideas on this an the possible solution.

Today is not 2016-2017, bitcoin's price has skyrocketed and reached 70K ATH. Do you think it's going to reach 500K and 1 million USD anytime soon? It won't probably reach that height in the next decade. People here want to not only double their money but to increase it 10 times and more. Altcoins are great way to gain 10x, 20x and 50x profit because when good altcoin is a new thing on the market, they gain price soon after halving when bitcoin bull market starts. For example, if you would buy BNB in 2020 November, when price was 20 USD per coin and hold it till the end of bull market, you would gain 30x profit on your investment while bitcoin only went from 10K to 70K, only 7x profit. You see the difference? That's why people invest in altcoins. I don't say bitcoin is a bad investment, no, it's the safest investment option but it's not for those who chase double digit multiply.
515  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 28, 2023, 10:48:59 AM

So, let's say this is a skilled based game since the game may involve fighting skills from players, and one with the best wins, I have not played this game though, I haven't even had the time to check the UI/UX out, all ive said is based on pictures of the game arena I've seen online, I will make out time to try the game later on.

Its not a skill based game, its literally still luck based game. Imagine a coin flip between two players, this is the game but with lot more suspense in form of combat between two avatars. Give it a go if you havent, you can watch another duel if you dont feel like playing with your own money but yeah its just pretty simple actually and if you are not risking any money at all then you probably wont feel the suspense
This really interesting to see a combat kind of gaming that's not based on player skill but luck based. Which means it doesn't give one player any advantage over another based on how skillfully better one player against his opponent might be.

It's an equal playing field with luck which means I don't have to worry that the next player is more skillful than I am therefore I don't stand a chance of winning him/her. I really need to check out this game for myself now, the suspense is killing me.

There isn't any How to play guide on Rollbit.com and their twitter page and I am lost in vein how to play this game. Is this game skill based or luck based? I watched one match on Rollbit.com and players were standing like a tree and were damaging each-other. It doesn't look like skill based but is still PVP. If it's luck based, then what's the point of PVP? I don't understand. But the intensity and the way they are promoting this game, it should be very good.

Btw isn't any casino going to add skill based games or 100% luck based games? For example, games similar to penalties, like this one? -> Penalties PvP

Who is the real owner of MegaPari and can you show us your gambling license details?

Hey. Initially the platform was designed similar to 1xbet. The team that is responsible for the product/design/apps/marketing etc is not connected to the 1xbet team anyhow, that is what I've already mentioned few times. For more details to the license&policy please refer here
This question has been asked in the first few pages but there are some more questions that I have, so I'll ask it.
Was platform designed similar to 1xbet or do you use bet-b2b platform? If the team that is responsible for product/design/apps is not connected to the 1xbet theam, then why do I see absolutely identical games when I click on megapari.com->megagames and 1xbet.com->1xgames?
Why are megagames and 1xgames identical? What's wrong here?
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 27, 2023, 11:15:06 AM
OP I thought I would hear a story like generating cheap altcoins via mining, then depositing them on casino, gambling for fun and repeating the same to get that pleasure you get when you quickly mine, deposit and get the desired fun but what you wrote is truly a sad loss.

They will improve quickly.  Take it as a lesson.  Not as a LOSS.  Accept this was your fate and step ahead.
Loss is a loss, we can't mask it, it affected his finances and mental health negativity. It's very important now for him to not try to gain what he lost because that is the moment when gambling addiction starts. OP has to forget what happened, imagine it was a fairy tale with good beginning and bad ending but it ended and that's all. OP just don't try to gamble for recovering your loses, you'll lose more. Only gamble for fun if you can, if not, then just forget it.

Crazy coinflip is much better on all the crazy time type of game because the slot gives you some small return while it frequently drop x100 every spin which is massive if you get x10 initial multi or above.

All of the live games is a waste of time and money. The multiplier is randomly generated by computer while the actual live games is actual game. They should make the multiplier generator via live roulette too if they really want to make it fair. DoA is the only live games I really like because it guarantee x20 on each round that gives you room for error on choices or a few return.

Blackjack and Baccarat are the games that is worth playing on evolution because it's just a have a 2 side for the result.
Live games provided by Evolution are fair. They hire normal humans with knowledge in English and teach them how to play cards and spin the wheel, it only takes one or two weeks and that's all. There are no magicians and no hackers or something similar. Absolutely everything is fair, I can confirm that myself because I have worked there. Problem is that just the game itself gives advantage to casino and not the user because of one zero or sometimes two zeros.

But it doesn't rule out the possibility that their site is still displayed on several crypto sites. That's probably the reason why beginners can get trapped gambling on 1xbit. I hope the crypto site owners know about the fraud committed by 1xbit so they ban advertising related to this site. I also hope that no more victims of 1xbit come to this forum to complain about their problems.
I almost got trapped by 1xbit and 1xbet when they weren't known on this forum because these websites look too good to gamble. Their UI/UX is old today but it was damn good in 2016. They have many sportsgets, many games that includes some exclusive games, tv games. It looks too authentic for a scam and that's where their trap hides.

I want to remind everyone that 1xbit.com become 1xbit1.com
I also want to remind everyone that 1xgames available on 1xbet.com are also available on 1xbit.com in games category. I think it doesn't need any further discussion that 1xbet and 1xbit are managed by the same team.

You treat gambling as a place for entertainment and you enjoy every minute of it, but your family tells you to stop gambling for a week and challenges you to check other platforms for the same level of enjoyment that you experience in gambling.

So what will it be for you?

Mine is having a long ride on my motorcycle I feel it's refreshing and enjoyable, especially when I take on zigzag roads.
I'm a responsible rider and advocate of safe riding and if I'm not gambling online I love to take a long ride I have the same enjoyment doing both.
Good question, I think answers in this thread will help other people to find an alternative way of enjoyment when they want to take a break from gambling. I get the same level of enjoyment from playing slots via free play money. I love slots that have captivating graphics and visuals with many features that includes free spins, jackpot section and some other bonus sections.
My another way of getting the same level of enjoyment is playing video games. Battlefield, Call Of Duty, FIFA and Assassin's Creed series are my favourite. Going to the pool, playing football, basketball and volleyball are my favourite activities too.
