Well, I don't care how many articles you share, those articles were written by human beings like you and I, they shared what they believe, and I am here sharing also, what I believe, and my believe is that martingale is not gambling strategy, if ever it is a strategy, it is a strategy for the gambling casinos to make more money for themselves, not a strategy for the gambler.

Gamblers who practice martingale in gambling believing it will increase their chances of winning are complete gambling newbies, if you also believe in such, then you are also a newbie in gambling.

And you don't have to make anything clear to me, I have brains so that I can think for myself and don't have to follow everything the crowd says or believes in.

Martingale is not a gambling strategy for me and that is it, believe it or believe it not, it's up to you bud.
When you follow a certain pattern, e.g. when you increase your bet two times when you lose, do the same until you win and when you win you start from zero again, what can we call it other than a martingale strategy? Word strategy means a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim (source Oxford Dictionary). I am not here to teach you something but martingale is really a strategy in gambling.

Is it a good strategy or not? My answer is that you can't beat luck with strategy. It doesn't matter whether you follow Martingale, Paroli, D'Alembert, Delayed Martingale, doesn't matter if you follow it long-term, short-term, you can't beat luck with strategy, that's why newbies usually win at first but lose when they learn the game.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 10, 2023, 06:36:42 PM
If someone is a problem gambler and has repeatedly relapsed to problematic behavior related to gambling, I have come to the conclusion that it's best to quit cold turkey.

With other things it can sometimes be recommended that the addict slowly winds down their consumption of the addictive activity or substance, but that doesn't sound very realistic with gambling, does it?

Quitting cold turkey, contemplating on your mistakes and talking about it with a group and some experts sounds like the best path. What are your thoughts? Could a problem gambler quit slowly and expect realistic improvements?
Cold turkey never works. If you are an addicted gambler, you can't immediately quit gambling because you think about gambling all the time. Also, gambling tapering doesn't work like low your budget and over time you'll become free from addiction. When you are addicted to gambling, you should try to occupy your free time by doing your other hobbies or find a new job or walk in the park, you have to do something different and entertaining in your life to smoothly get away from your addiction. One best way is to spend less time every time you gamble. Gamble for 4 hours instead of 5, then gamble 30 minutes less in next week, then 30 minutes less and in near future one will smoothly solve this problem. Cold turkey is impossible for many people.
463  Other / Archival / Re: BTCWILD.NET CASINO | 70% OF PROFITS TO CHARITY | NO KYC on: December 10, 2023, 08:58:22 AM
There is Evolution gaming logo on your website under slots. I want to remind you that Evolution Gaming is not Evolution Gaming anymore, they are only called Evolution.
Bonus and Affiliates pages don't work. The left navigation doesn't work too. I think you have lots of work to do before launching or announcing a website on Bitcointalk because it looks that you are not ready today. I understand that you will do more in future but when there is such a big competition, you have to come more prepared. I don't see any reason to play slots on your website.
Which charity company is your partner? Can you name please? I think you have to mention that because people have to be sure that you are really donating money to genuine charity that will use donations to improve life for those people who need it.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People losing their Bitcoin is not a risk to Bitcoin: on: December 09, 2023, 02:15:51 PM
So I read a thread by a new member who was asking if the information that is being shared here is just theoretical to gaining relevance in the platform or is something that is actually being practiced in real life situation and the first thing that came to my mind is the numerous post about securing ones Bitcoin holding and the fact that some persons might be taking it for granted.

The truth is that people actually loose access to their private keys and will loose their bitcoin In the process and a lost bitcoin isn't even a disadvantage to the network but actually increase the value of bitcoin in circulation and so if you take all the security measures being shared in the platform for granted, you're putting yourself at a serious disadvantage because if you loose your bitcoin due to your carelessness, it's your loss and not that of bitcoin and I doubt their is a means you can use in recovering a lost Bitcoin without your private keys.
People losing their bitcoins is the biggest risk that makes centralized exchange a big opportunity to rise. What was the idea of Bitcoin creation? To make you your own bank, without relying on banks and other financial institutes. Today, after so many people have lost their coins, exchanges decided to use it for their advantage and they started to promote themselves as safe platforms where you can store your bitcoins and don't have to worry about private keys.
It's true that the more people lose their coins, the higher will be price because supply shrink and demand grows but I am not happy for anyone losing their coins. Also, we have limited number of bitcoins, max 21 million mined and if people continue to lose and lose coins over time, with the high transaction fees, only a few people will be able to use bitcoin and this will result in making this coin unpopular or protocol might change and lost coins will be mined again. This is also a threat for bitcoin because such level of control if gained even after the public permission, is still dangerous.
465  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 09, 2023, 12:26:40 PM
I've seen some recommendations to go to the altcointalks.com forum.
This is fun, bitcoin services are moving to the altcoin forum, while on the Bitcoin forum, we can't defend against alt/nft/token spam.
Mixers can promote their mixers on cryptotalk.org too but they will not get any result. Compare the traffic of bitcointalk to altcointalks and cryptotalk, I think the signature campaign run on this forum will result in far superior results compared to signature campaigns run on altcoinstalk and cryptotalk.

I think that old and well-known mixers will continue their job but it will be very hard for new mixers to rise and will probably have to spend more money in marketing because their promotion choices will be very low. Bitcointalk was the most cost-effective and beneficial way to promote bitcoin mixer. I think they'll promote their mixer on websites like zippyshare and torrents.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 09, 2023, 08:56:49 AM
When I say 'line,' I am referring to the spreads or handicap of a certain team in the game. Through my years of experience, I have noticed that putting effort into analyzing the team's statistics and other factors, such as news and rumors, does not significantly affect my chances of winning.

I got this belief now that bookmakers are already knowledgeable about these aspects, and they take them into consideration when establishing a betting line for a specific game.

How about you? Do you share the same perspective or not?
Puttin effort into analyzing the teams statistics helps hugely. Years ago I had a thread on Bitcointalk where I was posting football (soccer) predictions - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597716
In order to do a successful bet, you have to know a lot about each team. For example if there is a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid, you have to know whether the game is home or away, who plays, who is injured, which player has a good/bad season, how the goalscoring, how they performed in their last matches, how many goals they scored. You also have to consider what has happened in the past when these two teams were playing against each other. I was always checking these statistics. That was time-consuming but that was hugely helping me, the record of my bets proves that. You can see in my thread how successful my predictions were.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 07:58:19 AM
If you work as a staff member in a physical casino as a dealer or in a sports bookie, I know that there are subtle ways you can use to encourage responsible gambling that will not go against the terms and conditions for staff.

For example, suppose you encounter a gambler who has wagered $200 at the table and is currently winning $6k. Would you express to them, "Hey, you're up $6k, and you initially entered this table with $200. Walk away, Take your winnings, go!" or will you say, "It is very admirable to know when to stop"?

What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling?
I was working as a live casino dealer in one of the most famous company and I have enough experience to discuss this subject. We had a button where we would click if we noticed that gambler was addicted to gambling. We could only notice that if gambler was chatting with us and was complaining how much he lost or how he can't control his loses. If someone had problems like that we were able to report them and then other staff would chat with them and restrain them from gambling for a while but you don't have right to suggest someone to stop gambling because he won 6K. You'll do that and you'll be fired. You can only suggest someone if they would like to double down or split, other suggestions are prohibited.
468  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CZ officially bids goodbye to Binance. Will Binance Crash or still stand Strong? on: December 07, 2023, 09:04:02 PM
And that same yesterday cZ officially resigned and bid goodbye to his office as the CEO of Binance, Although still making himself accessible to the company.
Does this mean anything? It doesn't matter who is the next puppet with the CEO title. Dmitry Medvedev was the president of Russia from May 7, 2008 – May 7, 2012 but does that mean Putin wasn't in charge of everything? I think point is clear. CZ can't officially be CEO but unofficially he will be managing everything.

At this point, we should give Blackrock a standing ovation for a script well played. It may sound like a conspiracy theory but everything is beginning to unfold. First the ETF is delay, then CZ is being "forced" to resign and agree that he laundered money. In the next few weeks, the ETF will be approved and we are sure nothing is going to stop it. Truth be told right now, I am more worried for bitcoin than for Binance or CZ.
This isn't conspiracy, this is a well-written and well-played script. ETF will bring a lot of money into bitcoin world because big institutional investors will be able to invest in crypto via ETF, which will make investors assets safe.
I am worried for bitcoin too, I miss 2016 when there wasn't KYC and AML score bullshit and bitcoin was shining. I think there is so huge financial interest in bitcoin, hard fork will lose idea and we all will have to move on Monero to support decentralization and independence.
469  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: December 07, 2023, 10:39:57 AM
I like the new design, it looks good. I don't mind that the VIP progress takes up a little more space, although it could have been handled a little better for sure. But I also expected the original games to be improved, with better options for auto-betting, and live stats. I am not sure if it's just me, but I need to choose numbers for every round when I play Keno. I hope that the team will pay attention to these things in the future!
If majority of people think that VIP progress takes up more space than necessary, then UI/UX designers and developers of coins.game will take care of that problem. UI/UX is a very priority task for every casino to offer a smooth gambling experience to their customers, so I believe that problem will be solved.
I think original games look beautiful. They aren't full of graphic images, they are minimalistic with a good combination of colours that makes me enjoy the game.

Not sure if I like the new changes.

The coins.game UI needs some work. Especially when it comes to functionality as well as user experience design. The new design of the site is not very intuitive-looking. VIP progress is completely in the way and takes up too much of the screen. Previous posters are saying that some features do not work and there are withdrawal problems. This is probably a problem which might be attributed to the new changes. But still, I expect at least some level of quality assurance before I feel safe depositing any money.
Probably you are used to fortunejack, coins.game's UI/UX was similar to theirs. Now seems they changed their style and become more similar to stake.com. I think their UI/UX is still very good, probably at first it's hard for people to get used to that. In overall, I believe that they made this decision to make their user's experience smoother and nicer.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT TAKING THEIR PRIVACY SERIOUSLY. on: December 07, 2023, 08:46:19 AM
People don't care about privacy, as simple as ABC.
Today you'll see people who post on their facebook when they eat, where they eat, with whom their eat. They also post other their activities, what they watch, where they plan to go. You can see that millions of people post that on public. Then there we have Instagram where people post their almost nude photos, some of them even post their nude photos and upload their private intimate lives. So, tell me why do you expect from people to take care of their privacy when they use bitcoin for making transactions? Majority of bitcoin users don't even use it for the purpose of getting rid of 3rd parties and improving privacy, they use it because it's a good and cool way to earn money.
471  Other / Meta / Re: Sanctioned Services and the service traceability to this forum, Any danger? on: December 07, 2023, 08:09:50 AM
Now, my concern is, wouldnt it make sense to remove the Sinbad escrow address from this forum? And also remove anything that could make it easy for authorities to trace transactions from that address to this forum, and it's users?
Remove why? Do we have to hide anything? People hide things when there is something wrong done and want to hide traces because they know they did something illegal and are going to get punished for that. By hiding traces, e.g. removing Sinbad escrow address from this forum, I think bitcointalk declares that it's guilty too while it isn't as we all know. Moving thread in archival was the best decision.

Well if the problem is about getting dirty money, why not ban using Bitcoin as a payment method and give them the chance to pay in altcoins?
They want to ban bitcoin but they can't. Now is the time when bitcoin is very popular and many businesses are built around it, tons of money is invested in bitcoin and with the help of its decentralized nature and independence from 3rd parties, governments understood it's better to integrate instead of separate. They are integrating and have a huge progress in analyzing of bitcoin blockchain. That's all they wanted, they gain control on transactions, they can track transactions and blockchain is open book, every transactions is placed on blockchain. They control everything and that's all they wanted. We know that governments launder money via banks but they can play with bitcoins too with the implementation of bullshit AML score. You just mark unwanted transaction as a bad one and you mark your favourite transaction as a good one, easy to launder when you are the one who judges and sets AML scores.

From an Elliptic.co blog post in February:
This is a very interesting link. It shows Sinbad received bad money even before they started. It looks more and more like they weren't "a good site also used by bad people", but they were "a bad site that needed good people to hide their bad money"! If that's the case, they had it coming. But taking down this site won't change anything except for slowing them down. Long-term, they'll continue elsewhere.
As much as I like privacy, I don't like criminals. And especially criminals who abuse good people's need for privacy to hide their own crimes.
I think this is not something new. Even Bitmixer owner admitted that many people were using his mixer for illegal transactions and asked other people to not create bitcoin mixers. He said something like this: Will you sell knife if you know that majority of your customers are murderers? My pastor said no. Every mixer that becomes famous ends up being a tool mostly used by criminals. Every mixer had a higher volume of illegal transactions compared to transactions that were done by those who care about their privacy, we can't deny that.
472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🎄Xmas Sleigh Race for $800 000 | 🎁Collect gifts all the way! on: December 07, 2023, 07:34:30 AM
Don't get surprise about that since maybe they are just avoiding to create mistake by answering those question ask to them and they let all possible that might happen to their token.
It doesn't make sense to avoid answering questions with fear of making a mistake.

But for now I guess their token will remain like that and it really need a huge push coming from them since if they didn't give their investor any motivation then provably many of its investor will also go away and will not think about investing on BFG again.
To be fair I can't see any bigger motivation than earning up to 50% APY in BFG staking and receiving daily payouts in USDT or BTC. 50% annual income on your investment is a huge motivator to deposit and stake money on Betfury, I think this will motivate people more than any possibility that developers can bring to Betfury Token.
To be fair I think that 50% APY is so huge, especially if we keep in mind that they also offer up to 60% APY on USDT stacking, I hope this doesn't end up as another scam. They also don't answer questions here while posting all the promotions.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 06:54:27 AM
I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.

How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
It's harder for me to deposit bitcoins in casino compared to withdrawals from casino because there are many casinos that let you withdraw in exchange of paying small fee, there are also some like FortuneJack that let you withdraw for free if you 2x wager your deposit. If Bitcoin is not an option for you, then try to play with altcoins, you'll save on transaction fees.
There might be some casinos that might allow you to play if you make transaction and have 0 confirmations but they won't allow you to withdraw your coins before your transaction gets 3 or 6 confirmations. If fees remain high, you might have to wait for some days or weeks until they go down.
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 06, 2023, 10:45:43 AM
When it comes to slot games, I personally have come to the believe that most times, if not all times, winning is always programmed by the system, and how this is done is probably based on how much profit the casino have made and how much they are willing to give out to some of their customers in the form of winnings through slot games and some other pure luck based games.

So, whether a player buys free spins or not, I do not think this will make any much difference at the end of the day because, the player wil still depend on luck to win, so instead of trying to force luck on yourself through wasting money on free spins, better to just leave and try again some other time, and who knows, you may end up playing again at a time when the casino has much to give out in winning.
Slots use RTP. RTP means Return To Player. When slot has 90% RTP, this means that system automatically gives 90% of money to players and takes 10% of the money in own pocket. This doesn't mean that you'll lose when you play slots and it's the unluckiest game. It means that when you play slots, you might still win but that's because other person would lose and opposite, your lose profits other players. In the end, casino only cares to make a profit of 10% from capital that was flowing in slots. Btw because of the competition, recently we have slots with 99% RTP and that's amazing. Stake has a slot with 99% as I know.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 06, 2023, 10:17:40 AM
Today I read that UEFA is going to let Christiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr to participate in UEFA Champion's League. Does anyone know if that's true? If that's true, then we will be able to see Christiano Ronaldo playing against European teams to win Champions League. I think Al Nassr is a weak team but it will be amazing to be able to see him playing in Europe again. If they let Christiano's Al Nassr to play in Champions League, then they will also let Messi's Inter Miami to play in Champions league too and we will be able to see two GOATs again. I hope this is not a rumor and it's true. Can anyone confirm it?
476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mixers - Are we the product? on: December 06, 2023, 09:19:59 AM
I can't be the only one.

After chipmixer was shut down, a ton of other mixers started operating at a very close proximity time-wise.
Is that fishy or am I paranoid?
It can't be that one sided I think.
Before Chipmixer we had bitmixer. Bitmixer was really the biggest bitcoin mixer but their owner decided to shut down this money-making website because many people were arrested in 2016-17 and many darknets were seized, he would probably be the next. Bitmixer shut down their service and then many people created mixer websites, many used the shut down of bitmixer to start a new business and many mixers came up on market. Chipmixer was only invented two months earlier before bitmixer announced shutdown of their service. Chipmixer started signature campaign similar to bitmixer.io and slightly increased their payrate soon. Then soon bitmixer announced a shutdown but chipmixer continued. Despite a huge rise of bitcoin's price, chipmixer kept their original bitcoin payrates and hired even more people. Chipmixer hired one of the best, trustworthy and famous bitcointalk users, promoted service through them and become one of the biggest mixer.

Btw not many mixers started operating after chipmixer was shut down. Many mixers that you see advertised on this forum started this business before chipmixer's shutdown, not after their shutdown.

This really does make you think, WHY? Why would a service allegedly moving billions worth in proceeds need to advertise here, and so aggressively even, especially when their customer base seems to be set in stone from day one?
Every mixer become famous from this forum. There is no better place other than this forum for crypto enthusiasts. This is the forum where satoshi was posting himself, isn't that enough?

I have a simple theory on why that might be happening. By looking at what generated the largest volumes in these mixers, I conclude that no bitcointalk user could be possibly be in need to launder billions in hacked funds, and would never be in dire need to launder cash associated with violent crime like drugs or fraud at this magnitude.

Instead, an illusion of privacy was promoted to clearnet users (that's us here in bitcointalk), while in fact our "cleaner" funds were used to bail out real criminals and terrorists. Because to a mixer, a clean bitcoin, is worth more than market value, so they were willing to overpay for it in the form of advertising. Come to think of it, the recent bust of Sinbad served as a reminder that mixers are in fact very traceable.
Why do you think that bitcointalk users wouldn't generate large volume? Every early adopter comes from this forum, every business rose from this forum, how can you say that?
These mixers weren't using our clean coins to feed darknet users. You can check that recent mixers focus on offering you offering coins that will pass AML test with high score. Mixers focus on making you untraceable and protecting your privacy.
477  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is Samsung blockchain wallet safe? on: December 06, 2023, 08:29:14 AM
I am 19 years old and I am living in south korea. I transfered all of my bitcoin from electrum to Samsung blockchain wallet.
They provide restore phrase and wallet. It is an app that you can download through galaxy store.
I think this is quite safe because Samsung is very legit company.
They also say that they can't see my restore phrase.
I am curious about your opinion.

Currently, I transfered 0.00399 btc to Samsung blockchain wallet, and I will buy about 100 dollar worth of btc excluding binance network fee every month and transfer to Samsung blockchain wallet.

I have successfully stored up to 0.3 BTC for 4 years in my smartphone on Electrum wallet. I know this is not the smartest thing to do but I haven't lost my coins because I don't download any app and I don't visit any strange website.
Since this is only my experience and I know I was probably lucky, I suggest you to use hardware wallet if you are looking for cold storage. Even if you will manage to keep your device secure, you have to consider accidental drops (never happened to me luckily in my life), theft, damage, software/hardware problems and etc... Just buy a good hardware wallet, secure your seed phrases and seriously take care of your security.

478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 05, 2023, 08:14:45 PM
There was a Cafe like that in my country, a crypto cafe in the capital, in a good location but owner was unable to make that Cafe work despite the fact that he tried his best for one year to make it alive and wasn't in profit, didn't manage to attract people. One or two person would come once in a while and that was all. He had a bitcoin ATM, even a friend of mine had bitcoin ATM in a very prestigious area but there was no interest. Bitcoin is still a new thing for many people.

I'm not from Bulgaria, but definitely, this kind of business is good for Bitcoin. Maybe they can held monthly or even weekly meeting there and talk about what else their favorite subject, BTC.
It's very hard to held monthly or weekly meetings if there aren't many people interested in crypto in your country and area. It's very hard to make crypto Cafe work but I only wish all the best to the owner, hope this will be the start of something great.

Guys I have been holding FUN token on Freebitco for a long time. Now I want to withdraw all of them for a while, to trade with it and buy them later to deposit on Freebitco and get amazing rewards. If I withdraw my coins today but deposit them 30 days later, will I have to start from scratch again? I have been holding coins for 360 days and I get 10 free spins a day but if I withdraw them and deposit 50K FUN again, will I be able to get 10 free spins a day? Or will I ge the benefit of one day holding period and will progress over time? Does anyone have any experience?

are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com  trustworthy with larger amounts ?

somebody can confirm betting on this 2 bookies with over 10k , 50k ? and no issues with withdrawls
I wouldn't risk that much on these casinos. I don't mean that you won't be able to get your money back but I think you might face problems like KYC and delayed withdrawal because there have been cases like these with huge wins. Check the trust on their bitcointalk profiles, check references and you'll understand what I mean.

I think it's safer to bet high bets on sportsbet.io and stake.com. By the way, in any case, if you bet high on FortuneJack and Rollbit, even if you face problems, there is a very high chance that you'll be able to get your winnings with the help of the community. These two casinos care about their trust on this forum.
